Parsha Vayechi – And He lived

Parsha Vayechi – And He lived
B’reshit 47-28, 50-26,
Haftorah
M’lakhim Alef 2:1-12, 1 Kefa 1:3-9
Daniel ben Ya'acov Ysrael

This is the last Parsha from the book of B’reshit (Genesis), the End of the recall of the life of the patriarchs from Adam to Yoseph during their sojourning on earth. This is also the account of the life of mankind. The book of B’reshit contains the Beginning and the End. The next book in the P’shat (literal) meaning, will tells us the life of the children of Israel under Moshe’s leadership, a book which is embedded in the book of B’reshit.  But let us go back to our today Parsha. Ya’acov the patriarch lived seventeen years in Mitzrayim (Egypt)! Seventeen is in the gametria: seven + ten. It shows the perfect accomplishment in Ya’acov’s life as a patriarch who was bestowed of יהוה to keep the way of his father Abraham and Itzahk: seven is the divine perfection on earth, ten been the sum of all number (e.g. Ten Commandments). Seventeen is also one + seven which is equal to the number eight. Eight is the number marking what nothing to be ad to it is behind the natural so we understand that Ya’acov’s life was not a simple life but was divinely ordained by יהוה.   The number of his life was “one hundred and forty seven years”.
If the date of his sojourning in Mitzrayim (Egypt) demonstrates perfection in the accomplishment, it should be reflected in the number of Ya’acov’s life:
One hundred and forty-seven = 10x10+40+7. Ten the sum of all number forty the number for testing and trials and seven the number for divine perfection on earth; Halleluyah! We can go further to see that this is confirmed by the Torah:  10 x 10 + 40+7= 147= 1+4+7=12. Twelve the number for divine government on earth: One the number for יהוה according to the sh’ma: Hear (sh'ma) Israel יהוה you Elohim יהוה is one (echad) D’varim (Deuter).6:4. 4 is also the number for completion of fullness in this world / Sh’mot 6:6-7 Four times “I shall” other translation write, “I will”: This is the revelation of the plan of redemption for all of us embedded in the children of Israel’s life.
Exo 6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am יהוה, and I will bring you out (1 deliverance) from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage (2 sanctification), and I will redeem you (3 redemption) with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: Exo 6:7 and I will take you (4 completion) to me for a people, and I will be to you a Elohim: and ye shall know that I am יהוה your Elohim, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. ...................................
1 Delivrance: Yehoshua died on the stake = deliverance from the world (Mitzrayim) Pesach  2. Sanctification The Ruach HaQodesh (Shavuot) to walk in the Torah Feast of the weeks
3. Redemption. Yom Kippur (Redemption)
4. Completion. Succoth, the re-gathering of the Qadosh ones (saints)..............
The Number Forty is the number for Test and trials it can be also written: 10x4. If we see Ya’acov’s trials with Laban we will see the number:
Gen 31:7 “Yet your father (Laban) has deceived me and changed my wages ten times, but Elohim did not allow him to do evil to me.
Thus the number 4 or 40 contains the divine representation of Test and Trials in our life.
Have you already looked in your life if there is some connection with the number 4 or 40 and with events in your life? I am pretty sure it will also be. Sometime not so nice with number like 9 or 11 or 13! Thanks יהוה for יהושע in our life.............
Gen 47:28 and Yaʽaqoḇ lived in the land of Mitsrayim seventeen years. So the length of Yaʽaqoḇ’s life was one hundred and forty-seven years. Gen 47:29 and the time for Yisra’ĕl to die drew near, and he called his son Yosĕph and said to him, “Now if I have found favour in your eyes, please put your hand under my thigh, and show kindness and truth to me. Please do not bury me in Mitsrayim, Gen 47:30 but I shall lie with my fathers, and you shall take me up out of Mitsrayim and bury me in their burial place.” And he said, “I do as you have said.” Gen 47:31 and he said, “Swear to me.” And he swore to him, and Yisra’ĕl bowed himself on the head of the bed. ............
Ya’acov make Yoseph swear to bring his bones out of Mitzrayim (Egypt): Today many people do not give so much importance to what will happen to their bones, many are burned called “incineration”, only ashes remain! Especially now in Europe where everything is expensive, people want to “save money” and let the body of the dead to be burned. The Yehudin who attach much importance to the resurrection build a place for their burial:
Eph 5:23 because the husband is head of the wife, as also the Messiah is head of the assembly, and He is Saviour of the body*.
Rom 8:22 for we know that all the creation groans together, and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.
Rom 8:23 and not only so, but even we ourselves who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, we ourselves also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. ..........
.*23 The meaning here is twofold, first the carnal body and also the body as the assembly of believers in Messiah..............
1Co 15:54 and when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall come to be the word that has been written, “Death is swallowed up in overcoming.” 1Co 15:55 “O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your overcoming?” 1Co 15:56 and the sting of death is the sin, and the power of the sin is the Torah. 1Co 15:57 But thanks to Elohim who gives us the overcoming through our Master יהושע Messiah.
Our body is not yet redeem. We are redeemed in soul and spirit, but the last redemption, of our body, this mean the “flesh” will be when our Master comes back! This is why we should care about our body now and when one is dead………….
Eph 5:23 for the husband is the head of the wife, even as the Messiah is the head of the assembly: and he (Messiah) is the saviour of the body.........
The flesh which is our carnal nature is the source of all struggle opposed to the spirit in us. Once renewed through Messiah, the spirit longs for righteousness while the flesh still for carnal desires. This is why Sha'ul writes:
Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of YHWH, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto YHWH, which is your reasonable service.  Rom 12:2 and be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of YHWH.  I have written many times concerning the renewing of the mind which doesn't come just by prayer, but much more requires of us to exchange worldly thoughts for Torah's instructions. This what Sha'ul was saying to the believers in Rome by "be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind". Nobody can be transformed by his own work but by the living words of the Torah. יהושע says:
Joh 6:63 it is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.  יהושע taught the Torah to his disciples because their forefathers had taught them man's traditions and the letter of the Torah, not how to walk in the spirit.  Unfortunately even so today, many believers among those who keep the Shabbat think that it is no more necessary to study the Torah and thus remain carnal, unspiritual and keep sinning without even been aware of it. Gossip is one of the most widespread sins in messianic assemblies I have visited, although it is an abomination in יהוה's eyes:
Pro 6:16 these six things doth YHWH hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
Pro 6:17 a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent bloodPro 6:18 an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,  Pro 6:19 a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Lev 19:16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am YHWH.
Pro 20:19 he that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.
Most of those gossips are: " brother have you not heard……….." or "brother don't you know……" it comes like a secret and brings evil report.  What kind of report did Ya'acov's Children brought when they sold Yospeh to the Ishmaelites?  ..................
Chapter 48: This chapter is concerning Manashheh and Ephrayim and the foretold of their future in Israel’s history of redemption. Elohim will unveil in part what will be.  Who are Manashheh and Ephrayim today? Are they not mixed among the nations in the four corners of the earth? Are they not to be found for the greatest part in the middle of the “Roman catholic Church” and her daughters Protestants, Anglican, Episcopal, Pentecostal, evangelist and hundreds of others denominations,
1-3. Ya’acov reminds Yoseph of Elohim’s promises to Abraham and Itzahk. We should remember that Yoseph is Ya’acov’s beloved son, the wording in reading Torah is very important:
Luk 3:22 and the Set-apart Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven saying, “You are My Son, the Beloved, in You I did delight.”
Gen 37:3 now Israel (Ya'acov) loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours*  ...................
*.The coat of many colours has two meanings, the first is that of kingship, but in a deeper meaning it represent also the nations (many colours) that will be found in Yoseph descendants through Manassheh and Ephraim, and the House of Israel.   יהושע is Elohim’s beloved son as Yospeh was Ya’acov beloved son! Yoseph is the one who will receive double portion in his blessing and his descendants Manasseh and Ephraim' s children will be included in this blessing.   Manasshheh and Ephrayim were both born in Egypt with a mother, Asenath been and Egyptian, and a father been and Hebrew. How many today are also born from a Hebrew descendant and the mother from among the nations?  Ask yourself, our name give sometime indication about our origin, although we have another nationality.
We read in the book of Revelation:
Rev 7:9  After this I looked and saw a great crowd which no one was able to count, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, and palm branches in their hands,
Rev 7:10  and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Deliverance belongs to our Elohim who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
Gen 48:1 and after these events it came to be that it was said to Yosĕph, “See, your father is sick.” And he took with him his two sons, Menashsheh and Ephrayim. Gen 48:2 and Yaʽaqoḇ was told, “See, your son Yosĕph is coming to you.” And Yisra’ĕl strengthened himself and sat up on the bed. Gen 48:3 and Yaʽaqoḇ said to Yosĕph, “Ěl Shaddai appeared to me at Luz in the land of Kenaʽan and blessed me, Gen 48:4 and said to me, ‘See, I am making you bear fruit and shall increase you and make of you an assembly of peoples, and give this land to your seed after you as an everlasting possession.’
Gen 48:5 “And now, your two sons, Ephrayim and Menashsheh, who were born to you in the land of Mitsrayim before I came to you in Mitsrayim, are mine – as Re’uḇĕn and Shimʽon,(The First and second born ) they are mine. Gen 48:6Your offspring whom you shall bring forth after them are yours, and let them be called by the name of their brothers in their inheritance. Gen 48:7 “And I, when I came from Paddan, Raḥĕl died beside me in the land of Kenaʽan on the way, when there was but a little distance to go to Ephrath. And I buried her there on the way to Ephrath, that is Bĕyth Leḥem.”
4-7..............El Shaddai , the “Mighty One” appeared to Ya’acov in luz  in the land of Kena’an (Canaan) Let see what we can find in names: Luz means “Almond tree” and the name Kena’an (Canaan) means: humiliated, bend the knee, bring down, into subjection, humble, subdue.  We know that Elohim gave his land to Abraham, Itzhak and Ya’acov for an “everlasting possession”. Therefore it is Elohim who will “humble”, “bring down”, “humiliate” “put into subjection” to the descendants of Abraham, Itzahk and Ya’acov all nations who will oppose Israel in its divine role.  It is amazing that today some people “Palestinians claim this land, Gaza and other place as their land, and nations from the world want to force Israel to give up this land for “peace”. Brothers and sisters this will never come. This land has been given to our ancestors and יהוה cares for it.
Lev 25:23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me......"The land is mine" says יהוה.
What can man does against that?  Ya’acov tells Yoseph, “thy children are mine” (verse 5) like Reuben and Simeon! Not only them but also their descendants are included,(verse6) and “let them be called by the name of their brothers in their inheritance”.  The relation between Ya'acov and his son Yoseph reflect the relation יהוה has with his Son יהושע we should always have this in mind when reading the parsha concerning Ya'acov and Yoseph.
Keil and Delitzsch give us following explanations:  --- Referring to the promise which El Shaddai had given him at Bethel (Gen_35:10. cf. Gen_38:13.), Israel said to Joseph (Gen_48:5): “And now thy two sons, which were born to thee in the land of Egypt, until (before) I came to thee into Egypt...let them be mine; Ephraim and Manasseh, like Reuben and Simeon (my first and second born), let them be mine.” The promise which Jacob had received empowered the patriarch to adopt the sons of Joseph in the place of children. Since El Shaddai had promised him the increase of his seed into a multitude of peoples, and Canaan as an eternal possession to that seed, he could so incorporate into the number of his descendants the two sons of Joseph who were born in Egypt before his arrival, and therefore outside the range of his house, that they should receive an equal share in the promised inheritance with his own eldest sons. But this privilege was to be restricted to the two first-born sons of Joseph. “Thy descendants,” he proceeds in Gen_48:6, “which thou hast begotten since them (i.e. the other children), shall be thine; by the name of their brethren shall they be called in their inheritance;” i.e., they shall not form tribes of their own with a separate inheritance, but shall be reckoned as belonging to Ephraim and Manasseh, and receive their possessions among these tribes, and in their inheritance. These other sons of Joseph are not mentioned anywhere; but their descendants are at any rate included in the families of Ephraim and Manasseh mentioned in Num_26:28-37; 1 Chron 7:14-29. By this adoption of his two eldest sons, Joseph was placed in the position of the first-born, so far as the inheritance was concerned
We read from the prophet Yrmeyahu:
Yrmeyahu 31:9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

(1Ch_5:2). Joseph's mother, who had died so early, was also honoured thereby. and this explains the allusion made by Jacob in Gen_48:7 to his beloved Rachel, the wife of his affections, and to her death-how she died by his side (עָלַי), on his return from Padan (for Padan-Aram, the only place in which it is so called, cf. Gen_25:20), without living to see her first-born exalted to the position of a saviour to the whole house of Israel.
It is of importance to see what Ya’acov told Yoseph concerning the descendants:
Gen 48:16  the Messenger who has redeemed me from all evil – bless the youths! And let my name be called upon them, and the name of my fathers Aḇraham and Yitsḥaq. And let them increase to a multitude in the midst of the earth.”
What was the name of Ya’acov, was it not Israël? So we see that Yoseph children Manasheh and Ephaim will be call by the name Israel (e.g. The House of Israel) including the other nine tribes who will be joined to them at Sh’lomo death.
Where does this multitude will come from?
Gen 48:19 and his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he (Manasheh) also shall become a people, and he (Manasheh) also shall be great: but truly his younger brother (Ephraim) shall be greater than he (Manassheh), and his (Ephraim) seed shall become a multitude of nations. …………..It is interesting to see that the Hebrew word for “nations” plural in English is the word “goyim” plural in Hebrew (plural goyim): “multitude of nations”. The word for “multitude” is a word used by Sha’ul, the word “melo” meaning “fullness”:  Rom 11:25 for I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles (melo HaGoyim) be come in. …………..
From this we should know who are these “gentiles”, are they “pagans” or are the descendants from Ephraim, the House of Israel?   Let us look at the descendants from Yoseph through Mannasheh and Ephraim who will be reckoned as belonging to the adoption:
Num 26:28 The sons of Joseph after their families were Manasseh and Ephraim.  Num 26:29 Of the sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites: and Machir begat Gilead: of Gilead come the family of the Gileadites.  Num 26:30  These are the sons of Gilead: of Jeezer, the family of the Jeezerites: of Helek, the family of the Helekites:  Num 26:31 and of Asriel, the family of the Asrielites: and of Shechem, the family of the Shechemites:  Num 26:32 and of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites: and of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.
Num 26:33 and Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.  Num 26:34 These are the families of Manasseh, and those that were numbered of them, fifty and two thousand and seven hundred.  Num 26:35 These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthalhites: of Becher, the family of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.  Num 26:36 and these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.  Num 26:37 These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families.
Fifty two thousands and seven hundred for Mannasheh and thirty two thousand five hundred for Ephraim though Ya'acov told Yoseph " but truly his younger brother (Ephraim) shall be greater than he (Mannasheh), and his seed shall become a multitude of nations" (b'reshit 48:7).  It seems at this this time Manassheh was still more numerous than Ephraim, how is it today, were is Epraim?
1Ch 5:2 for Yehuḏah prevailed over his brothers, and from him came a ruler, although the birthright was Yosĕph’s  ....7. Rahel died on the way back from “Paddan”. Paddan Aram was the place from Abraham’s relatives, Laban.   “Paddan”, the word “Paddan Aram means “field” (Brown Driver Briggs).
Paddan-Aram (ISBE)   pad´an-ā´ram or pad´an-âr´am (ארם פּדּן, paddan 'ărām; Septuagint Μεσοποταμία τῆς Συρίας, Mesopotamı́a tḗs Surı́as; the King James Version Padan-aram):
In Gen_48:7, Paddan stands alone, but as the Septuagint, Sam, and Peshitta read “Aram” also, it must in this verse have dropped out of the Massoretic Text.
In the time of Abraham, padanu occurs on the Babylonian contract-tablets as a land measure, to which we may compare the Arabic feddān or “ox-gang.” In the Assyrian syllabaries it is the equivalent of iklu, “a field,” so that Paddan-aram would mean “the field of Aram,”
Quite interesting when we see the word יהושע spoke concerning “fields”:
Joh 4:35 “Do you not say, ‘There are still four months, and the harvest comes’? See, I say to you, lift up your eyes and see the fields (paddan), for they are white for harvest – already!

Rahel died on the way back to Ken’anan (Canaan). Rahel is the mother of the multitude, the Mother of Ephraim, the house of Israel for whom יהושע came: .....
Mat 15:24 And He answering, said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Yisra’ĕl.” . She died close to “Ephrath”, which is “Beyth lehem”. Beth Lehem is the city where King David and יהושע were born!
Let us see more concerning the words’ meaning:
Ephrath: Strong’s # H672   אפרתה    אפרת 'ephrâth  'ephrâthâh ef-rawth', ef-raw'-thaw   From H6509; fruitfulness; Ephrath, another name for Bethlehem; once used in Psa_132:6 perhaps for Ephraim; also of an Israelite woman: - Ephrath, Ephratah.   H6509pârâh paw-raw'. A primitive root; to bear fruit (literally or figuratively): - bear, bring forth (fruit), (be, cause to be, make) fruitful, grow, increase.
Now let us compare with the Name Ephraim:
Ephraim: Strong's# H669 אֶפרַיִם 'Ephrayim (ef-rah'-yim) n/p.
1. double fruit
2. Ephrajim, a son of Joseph
3. (also) the tribe descended from him, and its territory
[dual of masculine form of H672]
KJV: Ephraim, Ephraimites.
Root(s): H672 (see Ephrath)
Was it not Yoseph the "savior" of  his brethren?
Is it not Yeshua who came to redeem Ephraim and Yehudah?
Psa 132:6 See, we heard of it in Ephrathah; We found it in the fields of the forest.
Eprath the word is written with the first letter been “aleph” א while the last letter is the “Tav” ת “Aleph and Tav” “Alpha and Omega”! Can you see? In Ephrath i.e. Bethlehem was Messiah to be born!  Rahel died close to the place where King David and יהושע will be born.  Sha'ul reveals the spiritual aspect of the dying seed:
1Co 15:35 but someone might say, “How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?”
1Co 15:36 Senseless one! What you sow is not made alive unless it dies.  1Co 15:37 and as to what you sow: you do not sow the body which is to be, but a bare grain, it might be wheat or some other grain. ..........
Rahel died she was still young as we can read in the book of Yasher chapter 36:  10. and whilst they were going on the road, and there was yet but a little way to come to Ephrath, Rachel bare a son and she had hard labour and she died.11. and Jacob buried her in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem, and he set a pillar upon her grave, which is there unto this day; and the days of Rachel were forty-five years and she died.
45 = 4 + 5. Four is the number for « tests and trials » and 5 the number for “Torah and grace”. We remember that Rahel was daughter of Idolaters. She left this life to follow her husband Ya’acov. Her life was filled with challenged and test. May be a shadow of what will be with her descendants the House of Israel (Ten tribes)!
45= 4+5=9. Nine is the number for judgment! Could it be that we must pass judgment before we can enter the Promise Land
1Pe 4:17 for the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of YHWH: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of YHWH? ……………
Do you need a second witness in the scriptures?
2Th 1:4 so that we ourselves glory in you in the assemblies of YHWH for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:   2Th 1:5 which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of YHWH, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of YHWH, for which ye also suffer:
Rahel when she died has not seen Yoseph being captive in Egypt, nor his children Manashheh and Ephraim. Like the seed of corn multiply when it is sown and died in the soil, so was Rahel’s life. She didn’t even saw Benyamin because she died at his birth! What was the short life of Rachel? She lived with Ya’acov twenty years in her father place Laban among idolaters and died on the way back to the land of Canaan the land of Abraham and Itzahk. It looks that the two thousand years of Rachel’s descendants Ephraim, the House of Israel living among idolaters who will have to “die” before entering the Land of the forefathers! Are you ready to lose your life on the way back to the Promise Land?
Gen 48:8 and Yisra’ĕl saw Yosĕph’s sons, and said, “Who are these?”  Gen 48:9 and Yosĕph said to his father, “They are my sons, whom Elohim has given me in this place.” And he said, “Please bring them to me, and let me bless them.”
Gen 48:10 and the eyes of Yisra’ĕl were dim with age, and he was unable to see. And he drew them near him, and he kissed them and embraced them.
Gen 48:11 and Yisra’ĕl said to Yosĕph, “I had not thought to see your face. But see, Elohim has also shown me your seed!”
Gen 48:12 so Yosĕph brought them from between his knees, and he bowed down with his face to the earth. Gen 48:13 and Yosĕph took them both, Ephrayim with his right hand toward Yisra’ĕl’s left hand, and Menashsheh with his left hand toward Yisra’ĕl’s right hand, and brought them near him. Gen 48:14 and Yisra’ĕl stretched out his right hand and laid it on Ephrayim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand on Menashsheh’s head, consciously directing his hands, for Menashsheh was the first-born. Gen 48:15 and he blessed Yosĕph, and said, “The Elohim before whom my father Aḇraham and Yitsḥaq walked, the Elohim who has fed me all my life long to this day, Gen 48:16 the Messenger who has redeemed me from all evil – bless the youths! And let my name (Ya'acov and Israel) be called upon them, and the name of my fathers Aḇraham and Yitsḥaq. And let them increase to a multitude in the midst of the earth.”
Gen 48:17 and when Yosĕph saw that his father laid his right hand on the head of Ephrayim, it was evil in his eyes; and he took hold of his father’s hand to remove it from the head of Ephrayim to the head of Menashsheh. Gen 48:18 and Yosĕph said to his father, “Not so, my father, for this one (Mannasheh) is the first-born, put your right hand on his head.” Gen 48:19 but his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He also becomes a people, and he also is great. And yet, his younger brother (Ephraim) is greater than he, and his seed is to become the completeness (fullness) of the nations.” Gen 48:20 and he blessed them on that day, saying, “In you Yisra’ĕl shall bless, saying, ‘Elohim make you as Ephrayim and as Menashsheh!’ ” Thus he put Ephrayim before Menashsheh.
Gen 48:21 and Yisra’ĕl said to Yosĕph, “See, I am dying, but Elohim shall be with you and bring you back to the land of your fathers. Gen 48:22 “And I, I have given to you one portion above your brothers, which I took from the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.” .........Yoseph saw his father Ya'acov bless his two children and reverse the First born right putting is right hand on Ephraim, thus making him the heir of the First born right.......
1Ch 5:2 for Yehuḏah prevailed over his brothers, and from him came a ruler, although the birthright was Yosĕph’s – I know, my son, I know. He also becomes a people, and he also is great. And yet, his younger brother (Ephraim) is greater than he, and his seed is to become the completeness (fullness) of the nations.”(verse 19).
Mannasheh shall become "a people" and "be great" but Ya'acov tells Yoseph that it is Ephraim that will be greater than Mannasheh and that out of his seed shall comes "fullness of nations", in Hebrew "melo HaGoyim".
Let us see what Strong's concordance gives for the word "nation":
Nation: Strong's #H1471 גּוי gôy go'ee, Apparently from the same root as H1465 (in the sense of massing); a foreign nation; hence a Gentile; also (figuratively) a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts: - Gentile, heathen, nation, people..................
Throughout the Tanak (O.T.) the Hebrew word "Goy" is used for "nation, people, heathen".
The word "fullness" is also quite interesting:
Fulness: Strong's #G4393 מלא melo From H4390; fulness (literally or figuratively): -  X all along, X all that is (there-) in, fill, (X that whereof . . . was) full, fullness, [hand-] full, multitudeH4390 mâlê' mâlâ' maw-lay', maw-law'.A primitive root, to fill or (intransitively) be full of, in a wide application (literally and figuratively): - accomplish, confirm, + consecrate, be at an end, be expired, be fenced, fill, fulfil, (be, become, X draw, give in, go) fully (-ly, -ly set, tale), [over-] flow, fullness, furnish, gather (selves, together), presume, replenish, satisfy, set, space, take a [hand-] full, + have wholly.
With that in mind we can now read what Sha'ul writes to the Romans believers:  Rom 11:25 for I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles  (melo HaGoyim)* be come in.  Rom 11:26 and so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away wickedness from Jacob:"be come in"! In what is not in Ya'acov Household, so that all Israel shall be saved?  The fullness (melo) of "gentiles" is the "goy", nations, spoken of by Ya'acov when blessing Yospeh's children before dying. The evidence that Sha'ul was not speaking to Christians, but to those from the scattered Children of the House of Israel, Ephraim is given here and in no way contradict the fact that those who are not from the household can become partaker of the promise through Messiah יהושע .
It could have been written:
Rom 11:25 for I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the descendants of Ephraim (House of Ysrael)* be come in.  Rom 11:26 and so all Israel shall be saved..........
Sh'aul is said to have been able to quote the Torah from the first verse of b'reshit to the last of D'varim (Deuter.) by heart. The Ruach HaQodesh (Set apart Spirit) inspire Sha'ul to write these words to the believers in Rome, himself been a "Jew" also call Israelite (Romans 11:1) has brought confusion in many scholars who persist to want to see in Sha'ul and other disciples "Christians" which of course have never been!
Rom 11:1 I say then, Hath YHWH cast away his people? By no means. For I (Sha'ul) also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
The tribe of Benjamin has been assimilated to the House of Yehuda (Jews) after the split of the Kingdom after the death of Sholomo (Salomon).
This is why Sha'ul wrote: " blindness in part is happened to Israel…………………….and so all Israel (Twelve tribes, two Houses) shall be saved.
Christians reject vehemently this evidence nevertheless time will show that Messiah never came to make a new religion as pretended by Christianity and all these self-proclaimed false prophets.
Read what the prophet Malachi writes:  Mal 3:6 for I am YHWH, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Who are the sons of Ya'acov", are they not the Children of Israel in part or all united?  Malachi in Hebrew "messenger of Yah" "Malakyah" is said to have written in Nehemiah's time between 445 and 432 BC. As Dr. J.M.P. Smith says, The Book of Malachi fits the situation amid which Nehemiah worked as snugly as a bone fits its socket” (ICC, 7).
So he could not speak of the twelve sons of Ya'acov but of their descendants. How is it with our Master יהושע
Luk 1:33 and he (יהושע) shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
No possibility for Christianity to take over, only replacement theory can bring blind people in error. May יהוה open the eyes of the blind and bring them into the fold. Since around 1800 years Christians battle to let the all world believe that Christianity is the only true religion in spite of what the prophets and the disciples were proclaiming among the believers.
Eph 2:17 and came (יהושע) and preached peace to you (the Goy, nations Ephraim) which were afar off, and to them (Jews, House of Yehudah) that were nigh. Eph 2:18 for through him we both (House of Yehudah and House of Israel, Ephraim) have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Eph 2:19 now therefore (because of what יהושע did) ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens (partakers) with the saints (Set apart ones), and of the household of YHWH; ...................
The "Household of יהוה is forever The house of Ya'acov as it has been proclaim by Gabri'el the Messenger of יהוה to Miriam when יהושע was born (Luke 1:33).
8-22.: We have now come to the blessings and prediction from Ya’acov to Yoseph’s children. Ya’acov would have liked to give Yoseph the first born right, but it was not possible because there was other born before him.  This is very important to see how Ya’acov saw in the “Ruach”(Spirit) what Elohim had in his mind as we can read from the prophet Yrmeyahu (Jeremiah) wrote centuries later:
Jer 31:9 With weeping they shall come, and with their prayers I bring them. I shall make them walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they do not stumble. For I shall be a Father to Yisra’ĕl, and Ephrayim he is My first-born.............
10.Ya’acov’eyes were dim with the age” (in Hebrew his eyes were heavy). We could say that Ya’acov saw in part, not all:
1Co 13:12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know, as I also have been known.
Yoseph will now bring his two sons to Ya’acov in order to be blessed. We can read from Keil and Delitzsch:   The patriarch then stretched out his right hand and laid it upon Ephraim's head, and placed his left upon the head of Manasseh (crossing his arms therefore), to bless Joseph in his sons. “Guiding his hands wittingly;” i.e., he placed his hands in this manner intentionally. Laying on the hand, which is mentioned here for the first time in the Scriptures, was a symbolical sign, by which the person acting transferred to another a spiritual good, a super-sensual power or gift; it occurs elsewhere in connection with dedication to an office (Num_27:18, Num_27:23; Deu_34:9; Mat_19:13; Act_6:6; Act_8:17, etc.), with the sacrifices, and with the cures performed by Messiah and the apostles. By the imposition of hands, Jacob transferred to Joseph in his sons the blessing which he implored for them from his own and his father's God: “The God (HaElohim) before whom my father Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God (HaElohim) who hath fed me (led and provided for me with a shepherd's faithfulness, Psa_23:1; Psa_28:9) from my existence up to this day, the Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads.  Today if you go to a Christian congregation; particular the “charismatic” they “like” to laid hands. We should read concerning the laying of hands:   1Ti 4:14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the elderhood.   This is where the “pastors” take their “authority” to laid hands on people. But if we read further in the same letter Sha'ul tells Timothy:  1Ti 5:22 Do not lay hands on anyone hastily, nor share in sins of others. Keep yourself clean.  We see that hands are channels for good and also bad things, if not done appropriately. Before we let people laid hands on us we should be aware of their life style. I have seen many so called “Pastors” laid their hands on people for “nothing good” but to put them in bondage by false “word of the Lord”.  At the time Ya’acov did it, it was the way it was taught and we are going to see that the Torah was already there as we have seen before. Here the words are clear. I have already explained in another “parsha”(Torah's portion) that the Torah existed already with Adam.
Verse 16.  Gen 48:16 the Messenger who has redeemed me from all evil – bless the youths! And let my name be called upon them, and the name of my fathers Aḇraham and Yitsḥaq. And let them increase to a multitude in the midst of the earth.” .......................In the margin of the King James version you can read:”    .............“as fishes do increase" for “let them increase”. This was the first revelation of believers be compared to “fish”, remember יהושע says “I will make you fishers of men” (Matt.4:18)...........Read also: (This has not yet been fulfilled it is still to be fulfilled in the day to come when Messiah יהושע will establish יהוה’s Kingdom).  Eze 37:16 “And you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it, ‘For Yehuḏah and for the children of Yisra’ĕl, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Yosĕph, the stick of Ephrayim, and for all the house of Yisra’ĕl, his companions.’  Eze 37:17 “Then bring them together for yourself into one stick, and they shall become one in your hand.  ...............The multitudes of nation comes from the name Ephraim which means “fruitful” (B’reshit 41:52) Manashheh means “forgetting” (B’reshit 41:51), Yoseph says concerning Manashheh: “For Elohim has made me forget all my toil and all my father’s house.”  Concerning Ephraim: “For Elohim has caused me to bear fruit in the land of my affliction.”  ………………Today it is well known that Ephraim and Manashheh are to be found among the western nations and scattered in the four corners of the earth where they have been fruitful. We all have "forgotten" our father’s house Ya’acov and we for the majority of us are in the "land of our affliction" “Egypt”, "Mitzrayim"!  Millions of people claim to be Christians and have forgotten their roots.
Gal 3:29 and if you are of Messiah, then you are seed of Aḇraham, and heirs according to promise.   Genuine Christians must leave pagans tradition and tradition of men from the Roman Catholic Church to embrace again the truth of Abraham, Itzhak and Ya’acov through יהושע Messiah.  Verse 19. “His seed s*hall become a fullness of nation”. In Hebrew fullness of nation is the term “melo HaGoyim”. This term is known from Sha’ul in the book of Romans:  Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles (melo HaGoyim) be come in.
Sha’ul is not talking to “gentiles” in this text. Gentiles are “pagans” people who reject Elohim. The Greek word is “Etnos” which means “race”, “tribe” especially foreign “no jewish”. (Strong’s concordance).  Webster gives following description:........GEN'TILE, n. [L. gentilis; from L. gens, nation, race; applied to pagans.or heathen]
In the scriptures, a pagan; a worshipper of false gods; any person not a Jew or a christian; a heathen. The Hebrews included in the term goim (Goy, Goyim) or nations, all the tribes of men who had not received the true faith, and were not circumcised. The christians translated "goyim" by the L. gentes, and imitated the Jews in giving the name gentiles to all nations who were not Jews nor "Christians"*. In civil affairs, the denomination was given to all nations who were not Romans.  GEN'TILE, a. Pertaining to pagans or heathens.
*  Today's difficulty is to found correct text, by this I mean text which have not been under the hands of these fanatic Christians who try since centuries to make their doctrines been accepted by the all world. In the original text in יהושע and the disciples times they were no Christians in Israel:
Act 2:5 and there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
Act 11:19 now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews onlyAct 13:5 and when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of YHWH in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister. Act 13:42 and when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles (those from the nations, Goyim) besought that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.
Can you imagine that pagans, idolaters, heathen went with the “jews” in the synagogue?  Act 13:43 now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the favour of YHWH. Act 14:1 and it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks* believed. ……….* By Greeks we must read "helen" as it is in the Greek text. Helens are the Inhabitants of Hellas in Greece, thus those "Goyim" from the scattered House of Israel and not Greeks in the sense of people.  Act 21:20 and when they heard it, they glorified YHWH, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law (Torah): .........Thousands: Strong's #G3461 murias moo-ree'-as  ..........From G3463; a ten thousand; by extension a “myriad” or indefinite number: - ten thousand.
This was during the first century after the departure of our Master to the Father. We see that majority of them were from among the "Jews", no Christians. No error is possible as we read:
Jas 1:1 James (Ya'acov), a servant of YHWH and of the Master Yehoshua the Messiah, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.   1Pe 1:1 Kepha, an apostle of Yehoshua the Messiah, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, ……………….Who are these strangers?.................. Strangers: Strong's #G3927 parepidēmos par-ep-id'-ay-mos
From G3844 and the base of G1927; an alien alongside, that is, a resident foreigner: - pilgrim, stranger.
Here again we see that these people were not the native but those from the House of Israel scattered abroad.
Sha'ul cannot have called the House of Israel “Gentiles”.  The promise according to Shaul is that יהוה Elohim of Israel will bring back the “House of Israel into the fold as יהושע says in different places and then Yehudah will also be brought back to the faith of Abraham, Itzahk and Ya’acovYa’acov’s words to Mannashheh and Ephraim are prophetic words of what will come to pass in “the last days”. We are now living in the last days as we can learn in the Torah (see my midrash on the sh’mita cycle). Soon the “fullness of the Goyim” (nations) will be complete and יהוה will close the way of salvation. It will be the time for Yehudah to turn back to Elohim by faith.  Read also B’reshit 35:11 to see the promise of nations to Ya’acov.   Gen 35:11 And Elohim said to him (Ya'acov), “I am Ěl Shaddai. Bear fruit and increase, a nation (Goy) and a company of nations (Goyim) shall be from you, and sovereigns (Kings) come from your bodyVerse 21…Elohim shall be with you and bring you back to the land of your fathers.  Ya’acov tells Yoseph that it is Elohim who will bring his children “The children of Israel” out of Egypt. It is also an Allegory “drash” to what will happen to all the children of Israel after they have been scattered in the four corners of the earth “the land of their affliction”...........Verse 22.
“And I, I have given to you one portion above your brothers, which I took from the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.”
Spiritual explanation: We know that the Amorites were the descendants from Ammon, Lot’s son. We read how they slew Hamor and Shechem after Dinah had been abused (B’reshit 34:26-29). In Hebrew thoughts the “sword” and “bow” represent “prayers and supplication”: 2Co 10:4 For the weapons we fight with are not fleshly but mighty in Elohim for overthrowing strongholds,   Eph 6:17 Take also the helmet of deliverance, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of Elohim,   Eph 6:18 praying at all times, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the set-apart ones;
Chapter 49.........This chapter starts with the gathering of Yoseph’s children including now Ephraim and Mannashheh. Let see first that the Torah was well known in Ya’acov’s time as it is mentioned in the book of Yasher:Yasher chapter 567. and on the next day Jacob again called for his sons, and they all assembled and came to
him and sat before him, and Jacob on that day blessed his sons before his death, each
man did he bless according to his blessing; behold it is written in the book of the law (Torah in Hebrew) of YHWH appertaining to Israel.  Israel is not only the “Jews” but include all the tribes with Ephraim and Mannashheh. The book of Yasher in its account follows the Torah written by Moshe. So this verse was proclaimed by Ya’acov just before his dead..........Gen 49:1 and Yaʽaqoḇ called his sons and said, “Gather together, so that I declare to you what is to befall you in the last days: Read:  2Ti 3:1 but know this, that in the last days hard times shall come. Job 19:25 for I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:  The book of Yob (Job) is said to be one of the first book which has been written. Yob speaks already from the “latter days upon the earth”.  -Reuben, Shim'on and Levi loosed their first born right to Ephraim: “thou shall not excel”.   It is said Reubenites are in a big part to be found in France (Yair Davidi).
Gen 49:2 “Gather together and hear, you sons of Yaʽaqoḇ, and listen to Yisra’ĕl your father.   Gen 49:3Re’uḇĕn, you are my first-born, my power and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of exaltation and the excellency of power. Gen 49:4 “Boiling like water, you do not excel, because you went up to your father’s bed, then you defiled it – he went up to my couch. Gen 49:5Shimʽon and Lĕwi are brothers, their weapons are implements of violence. Gen 49:6 “Let my being not enter their council, let my esteem not be united to their assembly; because they slew a man in their displeasure, and they lamed an ox in pleasure. Gen 49:7 “Cursed be their displeasure for it is fierce, and their wrath for it is cruel! I divide them in Yaʽaqoḇ and scatter them in Yisra’ĕl. Gen 49:8 “You, Yehuḏah, your brothers praise you; your hand is on the neck of your enemies; your father’s children bow down before you. Gen 49:9 “Yehuḏah is a lion’s cub; from the prey you have gone up, my son! He bowed down, he crouched like a lion. And like a lion, who does rouse him? Gen 49:10The sceptre shall not turn aside from Yehuḏah, nor a Lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to Him is the obedience of peoples. Gen 49:11Binding his donkey to the vine, and his donkey’s colt to the choice vine, he washed his garments in wine, and his robes in the blood of grapes.
The sceptre, equal to guidance and authority and shall not depart from Yehudah until “Shiloh” comes, and unto him (Shiloh) shall the gathering of the people be. Shiloh is recognized in Hebrew thoughts to be another name for Messiah. Messiah יהושע came in the year 4000. Since this time, the authority has been given to him even if "Jews" do not recognize his authority:
Joh 5:23 that all should value the Son even as they value the Father. He who does not value the Son does not value the Father who sent Him. Joh 5:24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me possesses everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Joh 5:26 “For as the Father possesses life in Himself, so He gave also to the Son to possess life in Himself, Joh 5:27 and He (YHWH) has given Him (Yehoshua) authority also to do judgment, because He is the Son of Aḏam.
Php 2:10 that at the Name of יהושע every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
Php 2:11 and every tongue should confess that יהושע Messiah is Master, to the esteem of Elohim the Father.
Col 1:18 And He is the Head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that He might become the One who is first in all.............יהושע was the “Son of David” like his father Yospeh the husband of Miriam his mother:
Mat 1:20 but while he thought about this, see, a messenger of יהוה appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Yosĕph, son of Dawiḏ, do not be afraid …………
Mat 12:23 and all the crowds were amazed and said, “Is this the Son of Dawiḏ?”
Act 13:22 “And having removed him, He raised up for them Dawiḏ as sovereign, to whom also He gave witness and said, ‘I have found Dawiḏ the son of Yishai, a man after My own heart, who shall do all My desires.’
Act 13:23 From this one’s seed, according to the promise, Elohim raised up for Yisra’ĕl a Saviour, יהושע,………….
Hence, יהושע was the direct descendant from King David and thus to be the King of Israel. The Jews rejected him this was a “political” decision, they didn’t wanted to lose their positions and therefore were blinded to the truth through their avidity for power, Yahudah (the Jews) has not recognized יהושע until today; only a small remnant which could be as I think a “picture” of “Benjamin recognizing his brother Yoseph” has enter the faith through Messiah (Avi Mordechai, Ariel Vankessel, Ed Neddle, and others to name few of them)..........Gen 49:12 “His eyes are darker than wine, and his teeth whiter than milk. Gen 49:13 “Zeḇulun dwells at the seashore, he is for a haven for ships, and his border is unto Tsiḏon. Gen 49:14 “Yissasḵar is a strong donkey lying down between two burdens, Gen 49:15 and he saw that a resting place was good, and that the land was pleasant, and he inclined his shoulder to bear a burden, and became a subject to slave labour. Gen 49:16 “Dan rightly rules his people as one of the tribes of Yisra’ĕl. Gen 49:17Dan is a serpent by the way, an adder by the path, that bites the horse’s heels so that its rider falls backward.
The king James version gives:” Dan shall judge his people”. ..................
The Hebrew word in the text is the word “diyn” which mean “to judge” as ruler, the word for “rule” be the word “adon”, master, sovereign, controller.  It is taught that through Dan will raise the anti-messiah. In the book of Revelation, chapter 7, two tribes are missing: the tribe of Ephraim and the tribe of Dan.  I have spent many times to meditate the reason why this both tribes were not mentioned. I have read a lot of explanations. One day the Ruach HaQodesh revealed something beautiful to me. According to Ya’acov’s prophecy, Ephraim is a multitude among the nations, intermingled within Christianity, wheat among the tares who will go through the tribulations to wash their robes. We find Ephraim in the same chapter 7 from Revelation verses 9-17, they are the one who have kept their faith in Messiah in spite of having rejected the Torah, and will have to suffer the great tribulation in order to remove the filth of their false believe, many will fall back and deny their faith because of the pressure during the tribulation:
Rev 7:9 After this I looked and saw a great crowd which no one was able to count, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, and palm branches in their hands,   Rev 7:14 And I said to him, “Master, you know.” And he said to me, “These are those coming out of the great distress (tribulations), having washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.   Dan is also missing. According to some Hebrew teaching, we find the answer in the book of Judge chapter 14, the story of Samson. Samson was from the tribe of Dan who married a philistine (Palestinian!) woman in spite of that the parents were against. Verse 4 we read that this came from יהוה, Samson was chosen from his mother’s womb to serve יהוה. Chapter 14:5-6 Samson fight against the young Lion and destroy it, verse 8 Samson find bees in the lion’s carcase and honey, he brings some to his father and mother, not telling them where he got it.  The Lion is an unclean animal but is also a metaphor for יהושע “the lion of the tribe of יהושע”. The lion represent the tribe of Yehudah (B’reshit 49:8), Samson is from the tribe of Dan which banner is adorn with bees. Dan want to avenge himself from his brother Yehudah who has taken his place and so will fulfil Elohim’s plan. The Philistines today Palestinians intermingle with some descendants of Dan and fight against Yehudah the “Jews”. December 2007 they received financial aid from the EU (European Union) worth 7 million Euro, to build their so called “Palestinian State”. Today 2010 the E.U (European Union) again plan to bring a law which recognize half of Jerusalem as capital for a Palestinian State! If that is not anti-messiah’s plan, we must be blind not recognizing who they are.
Gen 49:18 “I have waited for your deliverance, O יהוה! Gen 49:19Gaḏ, a raiding band raids him, but he raids its heel.
Gen 49:20 “Bread from Ashĕr is rich, and he gives delicacies of a sovereign. Gen 49:21Naphtali is a deer let loose, he gives words of elegance. Gen 49:22Yosĕph is an offshoot of a fruit-bearing tree, an offshoot of a fruit-bearing tree by a fountain, his branches run over a wall. Gen 49:23 “And the archers have bitterly grieved him, shot at him and hated him. Gen 49:24 “But his bow remained in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty One of Yaʽaqoḇ – from there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Yisra’ĕl – Gen 49:25 from the Ěl of your father who helps you, and by the Almighty who blesses you with blessings of the heavens above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb. Gen 49:26The blessings of your father have excelled the blessings of my ancestors, up to the limit of the everlasting hills. They are on the head of Yosĕph, and on the crown of the head of him who was separated from his brothers. ………………The blessing of Yoseph is above all his brothers. Today people in the world have forgotten this prophecy and think they get their wealth, power and dominion because they are smarter than others. If we keep our eyes in the Torah we will see that it is the faithfulness of יהוה to His word……….Psa 24:1 The earth is YHWH's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein...............Before we conclude this chapter I want you to read what Ya’acov said to do to his children concerning his burial and how he considered his Son Yoseph, even up to the day of his death:
Yasher Chapter 56:10. and Jacob again commanded his sons on that day, saying, Behold I shall be this day gathered unto my people; carry me up from Egypt, and bury me in the cave of Machpelah as I have commanded you.11. Howbeit take heed I pray you that none of your sons carry me, only yourselves, and this is the manner you shall do unto me, when you carry my body to go with it to the land of Canaan to bury me, 12. Judah, Issachar and Zebulun shall carry my bier at the eastern side; Reuben, Simeon and Gad at the south, Ephraim, Manasseh and Benjamin at the west, Dan, Asher and Naphtali at the north.  13. Let not Levi carry with you, for he and his sons will carry the ark of the covenant of the  YHWH with the Israelites in the camp, neither let Joseph my son carry, for as a king so let  his glory be; howbeit, Ephraim and Manasseh shall be in their stead14. Thus shall you do unto me when you carry me away; do not neglect any thing of all that  I command you; and it shall come to pass when you do this unto me, that YHWH will remember you favourably and your children after you forever.  15. and you my sons, honor each his brother and his relative, and command your children  and your children's children after you to serve YHWH Elohim of your ancestors all the  days.  16. In order that you may prolong your days in the land, you and your children and your children's children for ever, when you do what is good and upright in the sight of the YHWH your God, to go in all his ways.
Verse 12 Ya’acov gives to his children their position around the bier they will carry after his death. This could be a shadow of the tabernacle! Are you amazed? If you read what Moshe commanded centuries later after the children came out of Egypt, when they build the tabernacle you can see their positions for the camp around the tabernacle! Read Badmidbar (Number) chapter 2 (all) which include Ephraim and Mannashheh but “Levites were not numbered” verse 33, same as Ya’acov commanded his children. This was what יהוה commanded Moshe verse 34………………..Num 2:1 and YHWH spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, Num 2:2 Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch. Num 2:3 and on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah.Num 2:4 and his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred. Num 2:5 and those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain of the children of Issachar. Num 2:6 and his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.Num 2:7 Then the tribe of Zebulun: and Eliab the son of Helon shall be captain of the children of Zebulun. Num 2:8 and his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.  Num 2:9 all that were numbered in the camp of Judah were an hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred, throughout their armies. These shall first set forth. Num 2:10 on the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies: and the captain of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur. Num 2:11 and his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.  Num 2:12 and those which pitch by him shall be the tribe of Simeon: and the captain of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.  Num 2:13 and his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred. Num 2:14 Then the tribe of Gad: and the captain of the sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel. Num 2:15 and his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty. Num 2:16 all that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were an hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies. And they shall set forth in the second rank.  Num 2:17 Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camp: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards. Num 2:18 on the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud. Num 2:28 and his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
Num 2:29 Then the tribe of Naphtali: and the captain of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan.
Num 2:30 and his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
Num 2:31 all they that were numbered in the camp of Dan were an hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred. They shall go hindmost with their standards.Num 2:32 These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers: all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
Num 2:33 but the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as YHWH commanded Moses.
Num 2:34 and the children of Israel did according to all that YHWH commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.Gen 49:27Binyamin is a wolf that tears, in the morning he eats prey, and at night he divides the spoil.” Gen 49:28 All these are the twelve tribes of Yisra’ĕl, and this is what their father spoke to them. And he blessed them, he blessed each one according to his own blessing. ………………..;In order to have twelve tribes Yoseph and Levi are replaced by Ephraim and Mannasheh. Throughout the scriptures many times Yoseph stand for Ephraim and Mannasheh…….Gen 49:29 and he commanded them, and said to them, “I am to be gathered to my people, bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Ḥittite,
Gen 49:30 in the cave that is in the field of Maḵpĕlah, which is before Mamrĕ in the land of Kenaʽan, which Aḇraham bought with the field of Ephron the Ḥittite as a possession for a burial site. Gen 49:31 There they buried Aḇraham and Sarah his wife, there they buried Yitsḥaq and Riḇqah his wife, and there I buried Lĕ’ah – Gen 49:32 the field purchased, and the cave which is in it, from the sons of Ḥĕth.”
Gen 49:33 and when Yaʽaqoḇ ended commanding his sons, he drew his feet up into the bed and breathed his last, and was gathered to his people. Machpelah was not the place where Rachel was buried she was in Ephratath which is also Bethlechem! This has a very significant spiritual interpretation as Rachel is the mother of the House of Israel also called Ephraim…………….Chapter 50.Verse 2. “Yoseph commanded his servants to embalm his father”. We see here that even in Egypt, pagans believed in the life after death. This is found in the Mitzrayim religion which has been adopted by the Roman Catholic belief in many ways. The Egyptians mourned for Ya’acov seventy days. The blessing of Ya’acov and his children has rich the Egyptians so that after he died they mourned for him.  In Romans 8:22 Sha'ul explains that the whole creation “groan” /mourn because of the bondage of death to those who are without hope in the world. In the book of Hebrew, Sha'ul explains that death put people in bondage, because they have no hope:  Heb 2:15 and deliver those who throughout life were held in slavery by fear of death. .......Once again before the Children of Israel life after death was common belief among pagan nations, the difference lays in the doctrine of purgatory adopted by the Roman Catholic Church which is not part of the Messianic belief. There is today controversy as concerning the immortality of the soul which many among messianic assemblies reject and classify as pagan tradition or even satanic, but what do the scriptures say?  Php 1:23 for I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with the Messiah; which is far better:  Php 1:24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.  ............Sha'ul says that to be with Mesiah is far better! Is Messiah dead? Of course not he is alive and seated at the right hand of the Father.  Rev 7:9 after this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;  ..........Even if it is a vision Yochanan saw them before the throne and before the Lamb יהושע Mat 24:30 and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory............What is the meaning of clouds?
Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,...................In the precedent chapter 11, the writer of the book of Hebrew was speaking of the "witnesses" in the list of all those who lived by faith..............So the term clouds, is a metaphor for “numerous people”........Rev 1:7 behold, he (יהושע) cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, amein.
Who were all these clouds, or soul if not with Messiah, it is to notice that they are the souls of the righteous people who follow the יהושע. It's up to each of us to believe or not that the soul after death depart from the body and goes to be join to Messiah יהושע until he time of the resurrection when they will get the glorify body. A long time I held also the doctrine of those who believe that the soul knows nothing after death, but today I have open up my heart not to follow the majority but to search the scripture and listen to the small voice. ……….Gen 50:1 and Yosĕph fell on his father’s face, and wept over him, and kissed him. Gen 50:2 and Yosĕph commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father. So the physicians embalmed Yisra’ĕl. Gen 50:3 and forty days were completed for him, for so are completed the days of embalming. And the Mitsrites wept for him seventy days. Gen 50:4 and when the days of weeping for him were past, Yosĕph spoke to the household of Pharaoh, saying, “If, now, I have found favour in your eyes, please speak in the hearing of Pharaoh, saying,  Gen 50:5 ‘My father made me swear, saying, “See, I am dying, bury me in my grave which I dug for myself in the land of Kenaʽan.” And now, please let me go up and bury my father, and return.’ ”
Gen 50:6 and Pharaoh said, “Go up and bury your father, as he made you swear.” Gen 50:7 and Yosĕph went up to bury his father. And with him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Mitsrayim, Gen 50:8 and all the house of Yosĕph, and his brothers, and his father’s house. Only their little ones, and their flocks, and their herds they left in the land of Goshen. Gen 50:9 and there went up with him both chariots and horsemen, and it was a very great company. Gen 50:10 and they came to the threshing-floor of Ataḏ, which is beyond the Yardĕn, and they lamented there with a great and very heavy lamentation. And he observed seven days of mourning for his father. Gen 50:11 and when the inhabitants of the land, the Kenaʽanites, saw the mourning at the threshing-floor of Ataḏ, they said, “This is a grievous mourning for the Mitsrites.” That is why its name was called Aḇĕl Mitsrayim, which is beyond the Yardĕn. Gen 50:12 and his sons did to him as he had commanded them, Gen 50:13 for his sons brought him to the land of Kenaʽan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Maḵpĕlah, before Mamrĕ, which Aḇraham bought with the field from Ephron the Ḥittite as property for a burial site. Gen 50:14 and after he had buried his father, Yosĕph returned to Mitsrayim, he and his brothers and all who went up with him to bury his father.
Elohim told Abraham that his descendants were to be in Egypt for four hundred years (B’reshit 15:13), therefore Yoseph had to go back to Egypt where the children of Israel will stay until Elohim bring them out.
Gen 50:15 and when Yosĕph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “What if Yosĕph hates us, and pays us back all the evil which we did to him?” Gen 50:16 and they sent word to Yosĕph, saying, “Before your father died he commanded, saying, Gen 50:17 ‘This is what you are to say to Yosĕph, “I beg you, please forgive the transgression of your brothers and their sin, for they did evil to you.” ’ And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the Elohim of your father.” And Yosĕph wept when they spoke to him. Gen 50:18 and his brothers also went and fell down before his face, and they said, “See, we are your servants.” .......Now Ya’acov is no more and Yoseph brothers fear him! It is quite interesting to see that they still have not forgotten all what they have done to Yoseph. How will it be when Yehudah will look and see that יהושע (Yoseph) is Messiah? We can see the parallel. At this point of Yospeh life Ephraim are only spectators of what happen with their father’s brothers. Later they will also experience rejection of the father (Elohim) by going whoredom with pagan g-ds.  Yoseph reiterate that it was Elohim’s will to keep “great many people alive” through the action they intended against him. יהוה has His way and His people. In spite of being alone in Egypt, Yoseph was able to keep the way he was taught by his father and humble himself, so that Elohim could lift him to the high position. This sound like our Master יהושע who was born to be our Messiah, but was proclaim only at the resurrection. Some people think it was automatic, just read:
Php 2:8 and having been found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, death even of a stake.Heb 5:9 and having been perfected, He became the Causer of everlasting deliverance to all those obeying Him, ......Some people think that it was easy for יהושע because he was “Messiah”. יהושע was a man of blood and flesh like you and me, and went through the test of life, but he was without sin.
Gen 50:19 and Yosĕph said to them, “Do not fear, for am I in the place of Elohim? Gen 50:20 “And you, you intended evil against me, but Elohim intended it for good, in order to do it as it is this day, to keep a great many people alive. Gen 50:21 “And now, do not fear, I provide for you and your little ones.” So he comforted them and spoke kindly to them. Gen 50:22 and Yosĕph dwelt in Mitsrayim, he and his father’s household. And Yosĕph lived one hundred and ten years. ........22. and Yoseph dwelt in Mitsrayim…. Read Yeshayahu 60:1-5 which speaks of nations coming to the light of Messiah when the all world will be in darkness. Darkness is the world without Torah!   .............;Isa 60:1 “Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the esteem of יהוה has risen upon you. Isa 60:2 “For look, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness the peoples. But יהוה arises over you, and His esteem is seen upon you. Isa 60:3 “And the gentiles (nations Goyim) shall come to your light1, and sovereigns to the brightness of your rising. Footnote: 1Isa. 60:19,20, Rev. 21:23,24.
Isa 60:4 “Lift up your eyes all around and see: all of them have gathered, they have come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are supported on the side.
Isa 60:5 “Then you shall see and be bright, and your heart shall throb and swell, for the wealth of the sea is turned to you, the riches of the gentiles(nations goyim) come to you.

Gen 50:23 and Yosĕph saw Ephrayim’s children to the third generation. The children of Maḵir, son of Menashsheh, were also brought up on Yosĕph’s knees. Gen 50:24 and Yosĕph said to his brothers, “I am dying, but Elohim shall certainly visit you and bring you out of this land to the land of which He swore to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Yaʽaqoḇ.” ..............Is this promise fulfilled today, have the children of Israel been brought back to the Land of Abraham Itzhak and Ya’acov? The answer is yes and no! Because they entered the Promise Land under Yehoshua the son of Nun, but were scattered again after having disobey יהוה. This time it is יהושע who will gather יהוה’s people (Matt.24:31) after the great tribulations. This will be the final act for the faithful ones.................Eze 37:16 “And you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it, ‘For Yehuḏah and for the children of Yisra’ĕl, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Yosĕph, the stick of Ephrayim, and for all the house of Yisra’ĕl, his companions.’ Eze 37:17 “Then bring them together for yourself into one stick, and they shall become one in your hand. Eze 37:18 “And when the children of your people speak to you, saying, ‘Won’t you show us what you mean by these?’Eze 37:19 say to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I am taking the stick of Yosĕph, which is in the hand of Ephrayim, and the tribes of Yisra’ĕl, his companions. And I shall give them unto him, with the stick of Yehuḏah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in My hand.” ’ Eze 37:20 “And the sticks on which you write shall be in your hand before their eyes.
Eze 37:21 “And speak to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I am taking the children of Yisra’ĕl from among the gentiles, wherever they have gone, and shall gather them from all around, and I shall bring them into their land. Eze 37:22 “And I shall make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Yisra’ĕl. And one sovereign shall be sovereign over them all, and let them no longer be two nations, and let them no longer be divided into two reigns. Eze 37:23 “And they shall no longer defile themselves with their idols, nor with their disgusting matters, nor with any of their transgressions. And I shall save them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and I shall cleanse them. And they shall be My people, and I be their Elohim, Eze 37:24 while Dawiḏ My servant is sovereign over them. And they shall all have one shepherd and walk in My right-rulings and guard My laws, and shall do them. Eze 37:25 “And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Yaʽaqoḇ My servant, where your fathers dwelt. And they shall dwell in it, they and their children and their children’s children, forever, and My servant Dawiḏ be their prince forever.Eze 37:26 “And I shall make a covenant of peace (Shalom) with them – an everlasting covenant it is with them. And I shall place them and increase them, and shall place My set-apart place in their midst, forever.Eze 37:27 “And My Dwelling Place shall be over them. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people. Eze 37:28 “And the gentiles shall know that I, יהוה, am setting Yisra’ĕl apart, when My set-apart place is in their midst – forever.” ’ ”Eze 34:11 ‘For thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I Myself shall search for My sheep and seek them out. Eze 34:12 “As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so I shall seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered in a day of cloud and thick darkness. Eze 34:13 “And I shall bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the lands, and shall bring them to their own land. And I shall feed them on the mountains of Yisra’ĕl, in the valleys, and in all the dwellings of the land. Gen 50:25 and Yosĕph made the children of Yisra’ĕl swear, saying, “Elohim shall certainly visit you, and you shall bring up my bones from here.” Gen 50:26 and Yosĕph died, being one hundred and ten years old. And they embalmed him, and he was placed in a coffin in Mitsrayim.....Jer 23:3Therefore I shall gather the remnant of My flock out of all the lands where I have driven them, and shall bring them back to their fold. And they shall bear and increase. .............Read: Joh 10:16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold (Yehudah) – I have to bring them as well, and they shall hear My voice, and there shall be one flock, one shepherd Jer 23:4 “And I shall raise up shepherds over them, and they shall feed them.1 And they shall fear no more, nor be discouraged, nor shall they be lacking,” declares יהוה. Footnote: 1See 3:14-17.  Jer 23:5 “See, the days are coming,” declares יהוה, “when I shall raise for Dawiḏ a Branch1 of righteousness, and a Sovereign shall reign and act wisely, and shall do right-ruling and righteousness in the earth. Footnote: 1Or sprout.
Jer 23:6 “In His days Yehuḏah shall be saved, and Yisra’ĕl dwell safely. And this is His Name whereby He shall be called: יהוה our Righteousness. …………….Verse 26. :  Yoseph died he was 110 years old which is 10 x 10 + 10. What a beautiful revelation. Ten is the number of perfection with 10 commandments , the sum of all number, all build on the number one which is the divine number for יהוה (D’varim 6:4) Echad the unity  which is in יהוה. יהושע says: My Father and I are one! Are we also ONE together in Messiah יהושע? This will be seen by our love for one another.  One more can be seen: 110 = 1+1+0 = 2. Two is the number for division which will happen to the children of Israel who will be once again united through Messiah יהושע.
Before death Yoseph ruled over Egypt and the all land around Egypt after Pharaoh death, he ruled alone,   Pharaoh's son been too young. When reading, remember that Pharaoh is also a picture of “Elohim” on earth in Yoseph’s time. Another Pharaoh will raise during Moshe which will be a picture of HaSatan. …..Jasher Chapter 58: 1. and it came to pass in the thirty-second year of the Israelites going down to Egypt, that
is in the seventy-first year of the life of Joseph, in that year died Pharaoh king of Egypt,
and Magron his son reigned in his stead.2. and Pharaoh commanded Joseph before his death to be a father to his son, Magron, and that Magron should be under the care of Joseph and under his counsel. 3. and all Egypt consented to this thing that Joseph should be king over them, for all the Egyptians loved Joseph as of heretofore, only Magron the son of Pharaoh sat upon, his father's throne, and he became king in those days in his father's stead. 4. Magron was forty-one years old when he began to reign, and forty years he reigned in
Egypt, and all Egypt called his name Pharaoh after the name of his father, as it was their custom to do in Egypt to every king that reigned over them. 5. and it came to pass when Pharaoh reigned in his father's stead, he placed the laws of Egypt and all the affairs of government in the hand of Joseph, as his father had commanded him. 6. and Joseph became king over Egypt, for he superintended over all Egypt, and all Egypt
was under his care and under his counsel, for all Egypt (pagans) inclined to Joseph after the death of Pharaoh, and they loved him exceedingly to reign over them. 7. But there were some people amongst them, who did not like him, saying, No stranger shall reign over us; still the whole government of Egypt devolved in those days upon Joseph, after the death of Pharaoh, he being the regulator, doing as he liked throughout
the land without any one interfering.  8. and all Egypt was under the care of Joseph, and Joseph made war with all his  surrounding enemies, and he subdued them; also all the land and all the Philistines (Palestinians), unto the borders of Canaan, did Joseph subdue, and they were all under his power and they gave a yearly tax unto Joseph  9. and Pharaoh king of Egypt sat upon his throne in his father's stead, but he was under
the control and counsel of Joseph, as he was at first under the control of his father.  10. Neither did he reign but in the land of Egypt only, under the counsel of Joseph, but  Joseph reigned over the whole country at that time, from Egypt unto the great river Perath. 11. and Joseph was successful in all his ways, and YHWH was with him, and YHWH gave Joseph additional wisdom, and honor, and glory, and love toward him in the hearts
of the Egyptians and throughout the land, and Joseph reigned over the whole country forty years. 12. and all the countries of the Philistines and Canaan and Zidon, and on the other side of Jordan, brought presents unto Joseph all his days, and the whole country was in the hand of Joseph, and they brought unto him a yearly tribute as it was regulated, for Joseph had fought against all his surrounding enemies and subdued them, and the whole
country was in the hand of Joseph, and Joseph sat securely upon his throne in Egypt. 13. and also all his brethren the sons of Jacob dwelt securely in the land, all the days of Joseph, and they were fruitful and multiplied exceedingly in the land, and they served YHWH all their days, as their father Jacob had commanded them.
Haftorah
1Ki 2:1 and the days of Dawiḏ drew near to die, and he commanded Shelomoh his son, saying, 1Ki 2:2 “I am going the way of all the earth. And you shall be strong, and be a man. 1Ki 2:3 “And guard the Charge of יהוה your Elohim: to walk in His ways, to guard His laws, His commands, His right-rulings, and His witnesses, as it is written in the Torah of Mosheh, so that you do wisely all that you do and wherever you turn; 1Ki 2:4 so that יהוה does establish His word which He spoke concerning me, saying, ‘If your sons guard their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their being,’ saying, ‘there is not to cease a man of yours on the throne of Yisra’ĕl.’ 1Ki 2:5 “And also, you know what Yo’aḇ son of Tseruyah did to me, and what he did to the two commanders of the armies of Yisra’ĕl, to Aḇnĕr son of Nĕr and Amasa son of Yether, that he slew them, and shed the blood of battle in peace, and put the blood of battle on his belt that was around his waist, and on his sandals that were on his feet.1Ki 2:6 “So act according to your wisdom, and do not let his grey hair go down to the grave in peace. 1Ki 2:7 “But show kindness to the sons of Barzillai the Gilʽaḏite, and let them be among those who eat at your table, for so they came to me when I fled from Aḇshalom your brother.
1Ki 2:8 “And see, with you is Shimʽi son of Gĕra, the Binyamite from Baḥurim, who cursed me with a grievous cursing in the day when I went to Maḥanayim. But he came down to meet me at the Yardĕn, and I swore to him by יהוה, saying, ‘I shall not put you to death with the sword.’ 1Ki 2:9 “and now, do not leave him unpunished, for you are a wise man and know what you should do to him, and shall bring his grey hair down to the grave with blood.” 1Ki 2:10 and Dawiḏ slept with his fathers, and was buried in the City of Dawiḏ. 1Ki 2:11 and the days that Dawiḏ reigned over Yisra’ĕl was forty years. He reigned seven years in Ḥeḇron, and in Yerushalayim he reigned thirty-three years. 1Ki 2:12 And Shelomoh sat on the throne of his father Dawiḏ. And his reign was firmly established. 1Pe 1:3 Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Master יהושע Messiah, who according to His great compassion has caused us to be born again to a living xpectation through the resurrection of יהושע Messiah from the dead, 1Pe 1:4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and unfading, having been kept in the heavens for you, 1Pe 1:5 who are protected by the power of Elohim through belief, for a deliverance ready to be revealed in the last time, 1Pe 1:6 in which you exult, even though for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by manifold trials, 1Pe 1:7 in order that the proving of your belief – much more precious than gold that perishes, and proven by fire – might be found to result in praise and respect and esteem at the revelation of יהושע Messiah, 1Pe 1:8 whom having not seen, you love; in whom you exult with unspeakable and esteemed joy, yet not seeing, but believing, 1Pe 1:9 obtaining the goal of your belief: a deliverance of lives. …..May יהוה bless you and keep you as you walk in the Torah of life through our Master יהושע Messiah.
