ADDENDUM to my posting: "The day and hour that no man knows". After my posting I came under "attack" by a "messianic rabbi" who told me that I am the only one knowing the day and hour of Mashiach return. I feel the need to show something more clearly as I did in the first posting. First of all TRADITION but NOT TORAH says that Yom Teruah IS "the day and the hour that no man know". Let us look if it's true: Lev 23:24 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘In the seventh month, ON THE FIRST “DAY” of the month, you have a rest, a remembrance of blowing of trumpets, a set-apart gathering. The month is NEVER proclaimed until we see the CHODESH (New Moon). So Yom Teruah as written in the Torah is ALWAYS on the FIRST of the seventh month. This is a day that is known to man. In Hebrew calendar every month is proclaimed AFTER the moon has been sighted, so it doesn't matter if the moon is not sighted in the 29th days, it will be on the 30th. Why than Yehoshua told his disciples : Matt.24: 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. First let us consider if Yehoshua knew or not the timing. He says in the same chapter concerning the end of the age (some scriptures write world): Matt. 24: 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, AND OF THE END OF THE AGE (world)? This was the question of the disciples to Yehoshua. Please read carefully, and let us see if Yehoshua knows or not because in the verse 25 he says: Matt. 24:25 Behold, I have told you before. This was concerning the troubles that should come at the end of the age. But WHEN? In Matthew Chapter 13, Yehoshua give a parable to the disciples and EXPOUND to them: Mat 13:24 Another parable He put before them, saying, “THE REIGN OF HEAVEN (or of Elohim) has become like a man who sowed GOOD SEED in HIS FIELD, Mat 13:25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel among THE WHEAT (GOOD SEED) and went away. ..............Mat 13:30 ‘Let both grow together UNTIL THE HARWEST, and at the time of harvest I shall say to the reapers, “First gather the darnel and bind them in bundles to burn them, but GATHER THE WHEAT into my granary.” ’ ” Yehoshua EXPOUND the parable: Mat 13:36 Then, having sent the crowds away, יהושע went into the house. And His taught ones came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the darnel of the field.” Mat 13:37 And He answering, said to them, “He who is sowing THE GOOD SEED is the Son of Aḏam (Yehoshua), Mat 13:38 and THE FIELD IS THE WORLD. And THE GOOD SEED (WHEAT), these are THE SONS OF THE REIGN, but the darnel are the sons of the wicked one, Mat 13:39 and the enemy who sow them is the devil. And the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the messengers. Mat 13:40 “As the darnel, then, is gathered and burned in the fire, so it shall be at THE END OF THIS AGE (read again Matt 24:3). Mat 24:3 And as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the taught ones came to Him separately, saying, “Say to us, when shall this be, and what is the sign of Your coming, AND OF THE END OF THE AGE?” Note from the book of Revelation: Rev 14 :14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. The harvest of the world 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe (compare with Mattew 13:38-39, Matt.24:3). 16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. We see clearly that without doubt Yehoshua know when the end of the age take place. Now the question is: When is the Feast of the WHEAT HARVEST celebrated? Is not at SHAVUOT? Without doubt it is SHAVUOT and NO OTHER TIME. How do we reconcile the" day and hour that no man know" and SHAVUOT? Shavuot is the ONLY FEAST determine by the RIPENING of the WHEAT. Who make the grain to grow, giving water and rain, is it not YHWH ALONE? So Shavuot comes ONLY after the Firstfruits has been brought to the Priest. Yehoshua brought the Firstfruits (WHEAT, Matt 13:37) to the father (Yocha./John 20: 17-19). Now why then Yehoshua did says "the day and hour no man know". The answer is more simple than we have thought, bringing erroneous explanation. To whom was Yehoshua speaking, was it not to his disciples? Yes. Imagine now that Yehoshua says to the question of the disciples: Mat 24:3 And as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the taught ones came to Him separately, saying, “Say to us, when shall this be, and what is THE SIGN OF YOUR COMING, and of THE END OF THE AGE?” Yehoshua answer: Don't worry, I will come back in 2000 years! Can you imagine the suprise. In Particular if you know that the Kingdom was promised that he could have been established in the Year 4000 as I explained in the last parasha: V’zot HaBarachah posted in my FB page and blog. Indeed the Kingdom would have come in the 4th day; the year 4000 IF the Yehudin (Yehoshua brethren) had repented, this were the words of Yochanan the immerser and of Yehoshua (Matt.3:1-2, 4:17). These was a promise of YHWH to hasten it (Yeshayahu/Is. 60:22), but the Kingdom was rejected: Luk 17:21 nor shall they say, ‘Look here!’ or ‘Look there!’ For look, the reign of Elohim is in your midst!” ........... Luk 17:25 “But first He has to suffer much and BE REJECTED BY HIS GENERATION. The kingdom offer was to be extended for others generations: Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that the times of refreshing may come from the presence of YHWH, and that He may send Yehoshua the Messiah, who was proclaimed to you before, whom heaven must receive until the time of restoration of all things, which G-d has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. (Acts 3:19-21) And finally the OFFER EXPIRED. In Acts 28 "Paul called the leaders of the Jews together... to whom he explained and solemnly testified of the Kingdom of G-d, persuading them concerning Yehoshua..." (Acts 28:17, 23). Once again a corporate repentance did not occur "... some disbelieved. So they did not agree among themselves." (Acts 28:24b-25a). At this time Paul made known that the Kingdom offer had ended saying "...the salvation of G-d has been sent to the Gentiles (nations), and they will hear it!" (Acts. 28:28) So we see that "the day and hour" was for the GENERATION (disciples) in the time of Yehoshua and NOT FOR US. Sha'ul know and says: 1Th 5:1 Now, brothers, as to the times and the seasons, you do not need to be written to. 1Th 5:2 For you yourselves know very well that the day of יהוה comes as a thief in the night. 1Th 5:3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then suddenly destruction comes upon them, as labour pains upon a pregnant woman, and they shall not escape. 1Th 5:4 But you, brothers, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 1Th 5:5 For you are all sons of light and sons of the day.
