PARASHA B'RESHIT - IN THE BEGINNING

Parsha B’reshit –In the beginning
B’reshit 1:1-6:8,  YeshaYahu (Isa.) 42:5-43:11, 1 Shmu’el (Samuel) 20:18-42, Yochanan (John) 1:1-14

We are now starting the new reading cycle 2012-2013. We will see to improve our understanding trusting Yehowah to reveal what is important to know in order to become mature people, no more tossed to and fro by manmade doctrines.

*If you read for the first time this parasha you will find many words with their English meaning in (-). I am not Hebrew scholar the purpose is that we all may become more and more familiar with the Hebrew language which brings more understanding in our Torah study. The second reason is that we also as talmidin (disciples) of Messiah of Messiah יהושע  should bring light to other and stand for the truth. It is time that the truth is restored and the true Qahal (Assembly) and not the counterfeit Church shine in this dark world.  The new Torah cycle’s reading in the “one year cycle” start just after the last Fall Feast Succoth, the Feast of ingathering which culminate in the Feast of the Great last day.  There is also another Torah reading’s cycle which goes over three years which according to some scholars was known at Messiah’s time.  We follow the one year Torah’s cycle, so that every year we go through the Torah. We put our trust in the Ruach HaQodesh (Set Apart Spirit) to reveal the deep meaning of what יהוה has hidden behind the Letter.  Before starting this “midrash” (investigation, study) I would like to explain something which will help readers to understand why the Torah is so important.  According to the elders and ancients, the Torah’s interpretation is divided in four levels called PaRDeS.
*  The First is the P’shat or literal level, which relate the life of our forefather from the creation to the coming of our Master יהושע of Nazareth.
*  The second Level is the Remez, a hint which point to another related situation in the spiritual way
*  The Drash a midrash or Allegorical way i.e. “the heavens declare le Glory of Elohim”
*  The Sod or mystical (mystery, hidden) true behind the letter. יהושע told his talimidin (disciples):
Mar 4:11 And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the secret (sod) of the reign of Elohim, but to those who are outside, all are done in parables (hidden),
We can see in many passages from the Brit Chadasha (Renew Covenant) that the disciples were well involved in the SOD teaching when they spoke or wrote, especially Yochanan, Sha’ul and Kefa, Yehoshua having taught them!
Gal 1:12 for I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but through a revelation of יהושע Messiah.
Sha’ul received the revelation directly from יהושע Messiah.  Why is it so important to understand these four interpretations?  Christianity since almost Two thousand years has gone astray because of the false interpretation adopted from the Roman Catholic Church who changed the truth against doctrines of demons followed today by millions of people.  The Torah is unchangeable :
Isa 46:9 “Remember the former events of old, for I am Ěl, and there is no one else – Elohim, and there is no one like Me,  Isa 46:10 declaring the end from the beginning*, and from of old that which has not yet been done, saying, ‘My counsel does stand, and all My delight I do,’
*H7225 רֵאשִׁיתּ re'shiyth (ray-sheeth') n-f.
1. the first, in place, time, order or rank
In Hebrew the first book Moshe is called « b’reshit » (Genesis) from the root word « rosh » meaning « head or beginning ». So Yehowah says that he declares the End from the first book Moshe. If we want to know the end, we should study and ask Yehowah to reveal the hidden truth in the first book Moshe.
Psa 33:11 The counsel of יהוה stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generation…….
Sh’lomo (Salomon) explains that in order to know the End, we should understand the Beginning i.e. “B’reshit”, because there is nothing new under the sun.:
Ecc 1:9 What has been is what shall be, what has been done is what shall be done, and there is no new matter under the sun.   Ecc 1:10 Is there a matter of which it is said, “See, this is new”?
It was here already, long ago. ........How does this things work? People of course change, they are born and they die. The Torah is like a big circle, like the sun come and goes so is the life cycle. B’reshit the first book of the Torah gives us all information we need to be able to give proof that יהושע is Messiah, because this is יהוה’s will and perfect plan for us who believe.   Once we understand little by little the book of B’reshit, everything become easy to understand.  There was a time I was confused and couldn’t understand many things in the Torah, asking myself why should we do that and that today? Why should we learn the Torah? I knew and believed the Ten Commandments were not abolished, but I had difficulty to understand the deeper meaning of the Torah.
I read a lot from orthodox “Jews” midrashim, many are interesting, but they were not pointing to the Brit Chadasha but based on the Talmud and mishna from Judaism a man made religion established by the Pharisee and today by the Rabies.  There are many teachers who still believe that we should do all according to what is written and that only the literal text is to be accepted, all other is from HaSatan (the adversary). Let us check if it is true and may be let us discover the truth behind the letter. Sha’ul says: the letter kills but the Ruach (Spirit) gives life (2nd Cor.3:6). Our brethren from Yehudah (Jews) follow after the letter seeking to establish their own righteousness, we know that we cannot please Elohim, following the letter, but by faith only (Habakkuk 2:4). There is no reason to boast, because it is Elohim who has done it in order that we may all come into the Faith which is in Messiah.
Don’t misinterpret me? I don’t say that ALL what was written by the rabies is wrong, but ALL what is not supported by the Torah is wrong, no matter who write.
If today you think I will abolish the teaching of the Torah, just be patient and read, you will discover that it is not so. One day, I was reading the fifteen chapter of the first book of Corinthians. This chapter is full of spiritual meaning “sod” (mystery). Let us read part of it which will help us to see why we should approach the Torah in a way which is not taught in the orthodox circles. In this chapter Sha’ul is speaking of the resurrection of Messiah, this is the anchor of our faith, Sha’ul says that if Messiah has not been raised from the death, our faith is vain, for nothing. He goes further and explains what we have in Messiah יהושע, let’s read:
1Co 15:45 and so it has been written, “The first man Aḏam became a living being,” the last Aḏam a life-giving Spirit (יהושע).  1Co 15:46 The spiritual, however, was not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. 1Co 15:47 The first man was of the earth, earthy; the second Man is the Master from heaven. 1Co 15:48 as is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly.  1Co 15:49 and as we have borne the likeness of the earthy, we shall also bear the likeness of the heavenly.  ............
I pray that you may see what Elohim revealed as I was asking many months in prayer, fighting with my own understanding.  ...............
Sha’ul in this chapter is also speaking of seeds that there are different seeds and flesh (verses 37-44).    From verse 45 he begin to explain the difference between Adam (who is in English “mankind” and not “Mister Adam” as many think in the world) and Messiah: Natural versus spiritual.  Verse 46 Sha’ul explains that what came first was not spiritual but natural he goes on saying that the “first man” was of the earth and the second the Master from heaven.  Verse 48 he explains that the earthy, so also are those who are earthy.  Now if we look carefully we will understand why Sha’ul was able to see and understand according to the Torah and not according to the teaching of man  Remember the First Adam was from the earth verse 47, now read what is about Adam after he lost Hebel (Abel).
Gen 5:3 and Aḏam lived one hundred and thirty years, and brought forth a son in his own likeness, after his image, and called his name Shĕth. .........
Can you see? Adam brought forth a son in his own likeness. From Seth we will have Noah and from Noah all descendent of Ya’acov through Shem the son of Noah.
All were after the First Adam.   Only those who are in Messiah are made or begotten (regenerated) anew in the Likeness of Messiah.   Here is the key to understand that a carnal man, one who is not “born from above”(Yochan.3:3,7), not “born again”, cannot understand spiritual truth.
Unlike Christianity who claim that we have inherit Adam’sin, I don’t accept this fact, rather according to Sha’ul, we have inherit the “carnal nature” of Adam, like Seth. There is an interesting verse in the book of Badmidbar (Number), when the wicked prophet Balaam speak of Mashiach:
Num 24:17  “I see Him, but not now; I observe Him, but not near. A Star shall come out of Yaʽaqoḇ, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Yisra’ĕl, and shall smite the corners of Mo’aḇ, and shall destroy all the sons of Shĕth.
Here without doubt it is about Mashiach’s coming who “shall destroy all the sons of Sheth (Seth).
H8352 שֵׁת Sheth (shayth) n/p.
1. put, i.e. substituted
2. Sheth, third son of Adam
Sheth
means « substituted », very interesting. Seth or Sheth was created in Adam’s image, no more in the image of Elohim, can you follow?
Mashiach comes to bring us back into the image of Elohim (1st Corint.15:45-49)
Destroy: H6979 קוּר quwr (koor) v.
1. to trench
2. (by implication) to throw forth
Definition from the word “trench” (Merriam-Webster):
a : a long cut in the ground : ditch; especially : one used for military defense often with the excavated dirt thrown up in front

Origin of TRENCH

Middle English trenche track cut through a wood, from Anglo-French, act of cutting, ditch, from trencher, trenchierto cut
So we could read the verse:
Num 24:17  “I see Him, but not now; I observe Him, but not near. A Star shall come out of Yaʽaqoḇ, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Yisra’ĕl, and shall smite the corners of Mo’aḇ, and shall destroy (cut through, remove)  all the sons of Shĕth.
Who are the sons of Seth? Could we find them in Christianity? Think about it. When will that happen? When Mashiach comes and rule in Yerushalayim, “A Star shall come out of Yaʽaqoḇ, and a Scepter (ruler ship) shall rise out of Yisra’ĕl,”
When we read the Torah we should have always in mind that the Torah works on four levels.
1)     The p’shat which is the story and life of our forefathers
2)     The Remez a hint to be found in the plain text, referring to something in time or place
3)     The Drash is a midrash what Elohim want to teach or allegorical interpretation
4)     The Sod which is revealed (unfold) in Messiah Yehoshua
1Co 2:13 which we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Set-apart Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual matters with spiritual matters.  1Co 3:1 and I, brothers, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual ones but as to fleshly, as to babes in Messiah.  Col 1:9 That is also why we, from the day we heard, have not ceased praying for you, and asking that you be filled with the knowledge of His desire in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,
When we approach the Torah, we should pray to Abba יהוה to reveal unto us the spiritual aspect of the carnal action of our forefathers. The Life of our forefather in the Torah reflects our carnal nature.
All things have two parts a carnal/literal and spiritual aspect. If we search we will found some beautiful truth in the Torah. I will give an example:
Literal or P’shat level:
Deu 22:10 “Do not plough with an ox and a donkey together.
Now the spiritual aspect of it is given us by Sha’ul:
2Co 6:14 Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness? And what fellowship has light with darkness?
To work in the field, the ox (clean animal) was not to be yoked with the donkey (unclean animal), so the believer (picture of the ox, clean, and the unbeliever the donkey, unclean animal).
This is only one example. By searching and the leading of the Ruach HaQodesh you will also find so many spiritual meaning that the Torah will open again his mystery (sod) to you. With this in mind we are going to read the first parasha and see the natural aspect, pointing to the spiritual, passing through the two others level of interpretation.  Remember that there is one rule which says that we cannot remove the P’shat (literal) in order to explain the spiritual.  So we will have to find the spiritual to confirm the natural.
B’reshit the book, the most mysterious, from the five books of Moshe, full of hidden revelation is impossible to uncover in the plain text. Therefore many Christian commentators cannot unveil the sod of the Torah.
Here one commentary from Keil and Delitzsch who seems to be lost in their reflexions:
The work of creation does not fall, as Herder and others maintain, into two triads of days, with the work of the second answering to that of the first. For although the creation of the light on the first day seems to correspond to that of the light-bearing stars on the fourth, there is no reality in the parallelism which some discover between the second and third days on the one hand, and the third and fourth on the other. On the second day the firmament or atmosphere is formed; on the fifth, the fish and fowl. On the third, after the sea and land are separated, the plants are formed; on the sixth, the animals of the dry land and man. Now, if the creation of the fowls which fill the air answers to that of the firmament, the formation of the fish as the inhabitants of the waters ought to be assigned to the sixth day, and not to the fifth, as being parallel to the creation of the seas. The creation of the fish and fowl on the same day is an evident proof that a parallelism between the first three days of creation and the last three is not intended, and does not exist. Moreover, if the division of the work of creation into so many days had been the result of human reflection; the creation of man, who was appointed lord of the earth, would certainly not have been assigned to the same day as that of the beasts and reptiles, but would have been kept distinct from the creation of the beasts, and allotted to the seventh day, in which the creation was completed - a meaning which Richers and Keerl have actually tried to force upon the text of the Bible. In the different acts of creation we perceive indeed an evident progress from the general to the particular, from the lower to the higher orders of creatures, or rather a steady advance towards more and more concrete forms. But on the fourth day this progress is interrupted in a way which we cannot explain. In the transition from the creation of the plants to that of sun, moon, and stars, it is impossible to discover either a “well-arranged and constant progress,” or “a genetic advance,” since the stars are not intermediate links between plants and animals, and, in fact, have no place at all in the scale of earthly creatures.
We see here that man’s logic fails to explain what Elohim has embedded in His word.
We will explain it, and it is not behind man’s understanding if we are lead by the Ruach HaQodesh (Set Apart Spirit) and do not rely on our own understanding. But let us read further.
To understand we need divine revelation hidden in the Torah, the prophets and the Shaliach (Sent one, Apostles, emissaries).   Christians because of the rejection of the Torah, explain the other way round trying to demonstrate that the “new testament N.T.” explain the “old testament O.T.” which of course is totally false and the source of heresy*.
* In the fixed ecclesiastical sense that it ultimately attained, it indicated not merely any doctrinal error, but “the open espousal of fundamental error” (Ellicott on Tit_3:10), or, more fully, the persistent, obstinate maintenance of an error with respect to the central doctrines of “Christianity” in the face of all better instruction, combined with aggressive attack upon the common faith of the “church”, and its defenders (ISBE International Standard Bible Encyclopedia).
Christian’s doctrine in spite of evidence through text, proclaim since many centuries that Elohim has to die in order to be resurrected and to marry again the “church”. There is no text to support this heresy. The scripture teach us that Elohim is immortal:
1Ti 6:15 which in His own seasons He (Yehoshua) shall reveal – the blessed and only Ruler, the Sovereign of sovereigns and Master of masters,  1Ti 6:16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or is able to see, to whom be respect and everlasting might. Amĕn.
As far as we know יהושע die on the stake!  Only by twisting the scripture Christians have made their own doctrines.   In another midrash (teaching) I go in details to explain how Christians twist the word in order to make their doctrines acceptable to those who do not know the truth.  To go back to the book of B’reshit, creation, Sh’lomo was the man with the higher wisdom (Chochmah in Hebrew). He says that everything that we can see has already been of old.  Everything in the creation turn as we will see like the wheel in a perfect circle so the life cycle turn day after day according to the book of b’reshit (Genesis), until all will be accomplish the perfect will of Elohim.  יהוה says through the mouth of the prophet YeshaYahu (Isaiah) that he speaks the end from the beginning (B’reshit). This is in order that every man may be confounded and Elohim glorified. Let every man be a liar, יהוה cannot lie (Tit.1:2).  In YeshaYahu 46:9-10 Elohim says that he is the one who speaks the End from the Beginning. This has two effects.   - First, that only the creator of all things knows the End, because he created the End on the Beginning. This is unchangeable and everlasting until it is accomplished. We will see that all has been accomplished according to what was written, and confirmed by the prophets.
- Secondly that he has revealed it to those who search Him:
Psa 25:14 The secret (sod) of יהוה is with those who fear Him, and He makes His covenant known to them.
The P’shat (literal) text confuses many people who try to find things which are not told us. Moshe who wrote under the leading of the Ruach HaQodesh, was a prophet anointed by Elohim himself.
Exo 3:1 and Mosheh was shepherding the flock of Yithro his father-in-law, the priest of Miḏyan. And he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to Ḥorĕḇ, the mountain of Elohim.  Exo 3:10 “And now, come, I am sending you to Pharaoh, to bring My people, the children of Yisra’ĕl, out of Mitsrayim.”
Here already we see the Remez with King David who was also shepherding the flock of his father. The Sod is explain in Messiah who is the good shepherd (Yochanan 10:14,16).
In YeshaYahu 43:7 we read:
Isa 43:7 all those who are called by My Name, whom I have created, formed, even made for My esteem.”
Four steps:
1) called, 2) created, 3) formed and 4) made.
Another four steps:
Exo 6:6 “Say, therefore, to the children of Yisra’ĕl, ‘I am יהוה, and I shall bring you out from under the burdens of the Mitsrites, and shall deliver you from their enslaving, and shall redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments,  Exo 6:7 and shall take you as My people, and I shall be your Elohim. And you shall know that I am יהוה your Elohim who is bringing you out from under the burdens of the Mitsrites.
1)     Deliverance (bring you out from under the burdens)
2)     Sanctification (deliver you from their enslaving)
3)     Redemption (redeem you)
4)     Completion (take you as my people)
Keep the number four in mind, because it is the source of understanding in approaching the book of B’reshit.
The Torah is a progressive revelation unfolded more and more as we come to the core of the revelation.
The first chapter of B’reshit is not physical and cannot be approached with physical understanding. The first chapter takes place in the mind of Elohim and is reflected in Yochanan (John) Chapter 1: 1-18). I have explain in another midrash (teaching) the logos, the “word” who was with Elohim in the beginning. If we take the translation from William Tendale who wrote the first English Bible in 1526 AD translated from the Greek Septuagint we read:
--- Ihon/John 1:1 In the beginning was that word, and that word was with god: and god was that word.  3 All things were made by it (the Word), and without it (the Word), was made no thing, that made was4 In it (the Word) was life, and life was the light of men,
14 and that word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw the glory of it, as the glory of the only begotten son of the father, which word was full of grace, and verity
We see that Tendale translated using the definite article “that” instead of the reflexive pronoun him (self).
The reason is that unlike Jerome who translated the Vulgate from the Latin, Tendale use the Greek document, and for sure didn’t saw יהושע e.g. the Word in the verses but the Word and inmost thoughts of Elohim to become reveal in the man יהושע of Nazareth.
If we need a second witness we have also another Bible "Bishops from 1568" using also the Greek Septuagint as foundation and come to the same conclusion using "that Word".
We see the confirmation in the book of Hebrew where we read:
Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word (Yochan.1:1-3) of Elohim, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear..................
Here we see the difference in “the word of Elohim” concerning creation, the writer of the book use another word which in no way contradicts Yochanan/John 1:1:
Word: Strong’s #G4487 G4487 ῥῆμα rhēma hray'-mah............From G4483; an utterance (individually, collectively or specifically); by implication a matter or topic (especially of narration, command or dispute); with a negative naught whatever: - + evil, + nothing, saying, word.......... G4483 rheō hreh'-o
For certain tenses of which a prolonged form (ἐρέω ereō) is used; and both as alternate for G2036; perhaps akin (or identical) with G4482 (through the idea of pouring forth); to utter, that is, speak or say: - command, make, say, speak (of). Compare G3004........ We see that the word was spoken out, uttered, commanded, in order to bring יהוה logos (inmost thoughts) into been!
Elohim translated with “God” is also part of the creation coming down from YHWH, the infinite Ones.  Elohim is a title not a name, meaning the “mighty ruler, mighty One” there are also pagans “elohim” as we can see in the Torah. The title “Elohim” is not limited to the Creator, throughout the scriptures it is use for יהוה but also for man (Moshe, Judges of Israel, Melak/angels of Elohim)
How do we know that the first chapter of b’reshit/Genesis is in the mind of Elohim? We read what Yochanan writes:
Joh 1:1 In the beginning (b’reshit) was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.  Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning (b’reshit) with Elohim.   In the Greek text the word “Logos” was used to explain the “Word”. ....
Logos: Strong’s # G3056 Logos log'-os.  From G3004; something said (including the thought); by implication a topic (subject of discourse), also reasoning (the mental faculty) or motive; by extension a computation; specifically (with the article in John) the Divine Expression (that is, Christ): - account, cause, communication, X concerning, doctrine, fame, X have to do, intent, matter, mouth, preaching, question, reason, + reckon, remove, say (-ing), shew, X speaker, speech, talk, thing, + none of these things move me, tidings, treatise, utterance, word, work.....
The Logos is the expression of the mind, the thought. It is like the architect who plans to build a house. The House doesn’t exist first but just in the mind of the architect, before he draws it on a paper. We can bring it more clearer, it is also like when you or somebody say: I will do that or that, draw, build, make.....
Before you start doing it, it only exists in your mind, you can speak it out or keep in your mind this is before creation!  So we see the first chapter take place in the fourth heaven called the world of Azilut or world of emanation, which emanate from YHWH’s mind.  Emanation: That which issues, flows, proceeds from any object as a source, e.g. perfume is an emanation from a flower (Everest dictionary).
Following this pattern everything will become easy to understand and confusion will be removed.
At this point everything is perfect unity and One (echad).
Echad a well know term among the messianic is NOT a “compound unity” as we find the word used many times to say:
Gen 2:21  So יהוה Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept. And He took one (ECHAD) of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
Gen 4:19  And Lemeḵ took for himself two wives, the name of one (ECHAD) was Aḏah, and the name of the second was Tsillah.
Gen 11:1  And all the earth had one (ECHAD) language1 and one speech.
Gen 19:9  But they said, “Stand back!” And they said, “This one (ECHAD) came in to sojourn, and should he always judge? Now we are going to treat you worse than them.” So they pressed hard against the man Lot, and came near to break down the door.
Gen 22:2  And He said, “Take your son, now, your only son Yitsḥaq, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriyah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one (ECHAD) of the mountains which I command you.”
Gen 33:13  But he said to him, “My master knows that the children are weak, and the flocks and herds which are nursing are with me. And if the men should drive them hard one (ECHAD) day, all the flocks shall die.
Exo 9:6  And יהוה did this word on the next day, and all the livestock of Mitsrayim died, but of the livestock of the children of Yisra’ĕl, not one (ECHAD) died.
Exo 10:19  And יהוה turned a very strong west wind, which took the locusts away and blew them into the Sea of Reeds. Not one (ECHAD) locust was left within all the border of Mitsrayim.
Exo 12:18  ‘In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, in the evening, you shall eat unleavened bread until the twenty-first (ECHAD) day of the month in the evening.
Exo 12:49  “There is one (ECHAD) Torah for the native-born and for the stranger who sojourns among you.”
Exo 29:1  “And this is the task you shall do to them to set them apart to serve Me as priests: Take one (ECHAD) young bull and two rams, perfect ones,
And for the final example:
Deu 6:4  “Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one (ECHAD)!
Now I have demonstrated that ECHAD, means ONE and not compound unity, there are many others verse where the Hebrew word “echad” is used with the same meaning.

The second step is like the way of the architect, Elohim gives form to the things to come; creation exists but without form, it is void. This is the world of “Beriah” or world of “creation”. We can follow our first example and say, before the architect build the house, he will decide in his mind the division of the house the seize, the form….at this point the house doesn’t exist but in the mind of the architect.   The third step is the world of preparation called world of “formation” called “yetzirah”. Here everything takes form like the Architect having put all in order in his mind will now put in on the paper.
At this point there still is no physical existence as we know it today .. יהוה formed the soul (nephesh) of Adam (mankind) in Gan Eden which is the place where all followers of Messiah will go back after the Millenium
After Chawah (Eve) sin Adam following her, both were thrown out of Gan Eden which is the second world or the world of Yetzirah where they had direct communication with Elohim (B’reshit 3:9-11). Now Adam and Chawah were in the Natural world called AsiYah or world of action, which we will see take place chapter 4 when Adam knew Chawah or had intercourse with her.
Conclusion: When Elohim created man in the first chapter, Adam had no life but existed already in the mind of Elohim to receive life in Chapter two when Elohim will breath the n’shamah the higher life which come from Elohim in the soul of man.
Ephesiens 1 :4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love
At this time we (you and me) already existed in the mind of Elohim.
Foundation: G2602 καταβολή katabole (kat-ab-ol-ay') n.
1. a deposition, i.e. founding
2. (figuratively) conception

B’reshit 1:1 should be read: “In the beginning (b’reshit) He (Ayin, Sof, The Infinite One who dwell in an unapproachable light) created Elohim along with the heavens and the earth.
B’reshit 1:1Bereshith bara Elohim eth א ט hashshamayim veeth haarets (Hebrew version).  ...............
It is noteworthy to see that in the Hebrew text we will found two letters which are impossible to be translated in other versions but in Greek, and are omitted in English or French or other versions.   Aleph א and Tav ט in Greek Alpha and Omega the first and last letters of the Hebrew and Greek Alphabet.
This letters used in B’reshit 1:1 B’reshit bra elohim at, demonstrate that everything was perfect from the beginning, from aleph to tav..........
Rev 1:8 “I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, beginning and end,” says יהוה “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Isa 44:6 “Thus said יהוה, Sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, and his Redeemer, יהוה of hosts, ‘I am the First (Alpeh) and I am the Last (Tav), besides Me there is no Elohim.
Keep that in mind, in Hebrew understanding, יהוה is the infinite One, who no man has ever seen or approached: ---
Joh 1:18 No one has ever seen Elohim.1 The only brought-forth Son, who is in the bosom (the heart, the inmost desire) of the Father, He did declare (reveal).  Joh 5:37 “And the Father who sent Me, He bore witness of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form.
1Ti 6:16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or is able to see, to whom be respect and everlasting might. Amĕn........ יהושע says:  Joh 4:24 “Elohim is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth.” ........
This is in harmony with the second commandment:
Exo 20:3 “You have no other mighty ones against My face.   Exo 20:4 You do not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of that which is in the heavens above, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the waters under the earth,  Exo 20:5 you do not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, יהוה your Elohim am a jealous Ěl,
Today in the world if we look we see how millions even billions of people are bound to idolatry, not only in the Roman Catholic Church with their Maria adoration but also in many countries like India where thousands of “gods”  are worshipped and receive offerings, and also in Madagascar, and many others.
-1 In the Beginning. The starting point is with statement. The beginning indicated that, there was something before. We need time factor in order to have the beginning of something. Here in the verse one we see that everything is created, this is already the world of “beriah” also called creation. At this point when we read, we shall be aware that nothing exist physically. We have some points which make it clear.
To have a beginning we need a frame and this frame is time in order to have a beginning of something we must have something to mark this starting point. This will be with the frame created by days and nights. Without days and night you have no time and so will it be in the life to come eternity no more time frame. So was it also before the creation. In our modern days our watch measure the time according to the rising and setting of the sun, weeks, month and years.   In opposition to the evolutionist Elohim created the matter out of nothing. You have surely heard of the Big Bang theory which says that out of big explosion the world and everything came into existence. The Torah explains clearly how Elohim created everything. Sha’ul make a clear statement in Acts 17:28 which many have overlook: ----
Act 17:28 for in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, for we are also his offspring.
Remember that the same Sha’ul explains that Elohim dwells in a place that no man can see:--- 1Ti 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach.   Yochanan says I in a different way:
---- 1Jn 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that YHWH is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
The reason why we cannot approach Elohim directly is that He is pure light and if we came to him in the state we are now we were consumed by his brightness. When יהושע will turn over the Kingdom to the Father, we will then be able to be in his presence, at this time there will be no more darkness at all.
Not like the world who “make his G-d” Elohim is the cause of all things, he is omnipresent and a finite man cannot fathom his thoughts but only what he want us to know!.....
Isa 45:18 for thus saith YHWH that created the heavens; Elohim himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am YHWH; and there is none else........
יהוה created, and Elohim formed. The title Elohim contain the side of Judgement Created: Hebrew “bara” Strong’s #1254 בּרא bârâ' baw-raw'     A primitive root; (absolutely) to create; (qualified) to cut down (a wood), select, feed (as formative processes): - choose, create (creator), cut down, dispatch, do, make (fat).
Now let us compare with the other word:  ---- Formed: Hebrew “yatsar” Strong’s# H3335  יצר yâtsar yaw-tsar'    probably identical with H3334 (through the squeezing into shape); (compare H3331); to mould into a form; especially as a potter; figuratively to determine (that is, form a resolution): -  X earthen, fashion, form, frame, make (-r), potter, purpose.
We see the name of our heavenly Father appears for the first time in the account of creation only chapter two in a past sentence:
----  Gen 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created (bara), in the day that YHWH Elohim made the earth and the heavens,.......
But let us go back to the next verse.
Verse 11 tells us:    and Elohim said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the plant that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth.” And it came to be so.
By reading carefully chapter two we can see verse five that nothing had yet grown:
Gen 2:5 Now no shrub of the field was yet on the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for יהוה Elohim had not sent rain on the earth, and there was no man (Adam) to till the ground,
2:4, everything was created but do not exist physically. Elohim created ex nihilo which means “something out of nothing”: Elohim said and it was so!
To understand this principle will an enable us to understand the existence of Messiah.   Christians like to say that “jesus” existed physically before the creation. If so, we will have many difficulties to understand scriptures. One of the examples is found in the book of Revelation where Yochanan write:
Rev 13:8 and all those dwelling on the earth, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the slain Lamb, from the foundation of the world shall worship him.
We see here that Yochanan speaks of Messiah who was slain at the creation. This is every interesting. This can only refers to the final sacrifice done by יהושע. This took place as Yochanan knew, in the mind of Elohim, and not physically.
Another example from the same book:
Rev 17:8 “The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the pit of the deep and goes to destruction. And those dwelling on the earth, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, shall marvel when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. ......
Again we see that concerning those who are written in the book of life was already decided at the creation. Those saints didn’t live at this time.....יהושע as we will see came in existence in the year four thousand according to the Torah as we are going to see.....
The Torah tells us in b’reshit
Gen 1:2 and the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim moved upon the face of the waters......
The earth was without form and void - The original term תהו tohu and בהו bohu, which we translate without form and void, are of uncertain etymology; but in this place, and wherever else they are used, they convey the idea of confusion and disorder.   Chaos happened many times in the plan of Elohim and it is not finished with it as we will see. Scholars have demonstrated as we will see in the next parasha Noach that the earth changed its position to be what we have today an axial position of 23.5 degree toward the sun.
Evolutionist and secular scholars like to demonstrate how the earth moved through evolution and how man came from his “cousin the ape” to be the perfect human been we have today! It is interesting and unfortunately that for some ape they remain monkey! This is not what the Torah teaches us. I do not deny the existence of Dinosaurs. The book of b’reshit tells us clearly that in the beginning. Have you ever asked the question: Beginning of what? The answer is obvious, the beginning of the life-form we have today, not the beginning of the earth, which existed in “tohu bohu form” confusion and disorder and therefore was made desolate and ruin!......
Just read what Kefa / Peter write what will be in a future time in the light of Ecclesiastes:1:9....... 2Pe 3:10 but the day of יהוה shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up. …….
Is not the Earth to be again void and without form? But there is also a promise
Rev 21:1 and I saw a renewed heaven and a renewed earth, for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more.   Rev 21:2 and I, Yoḥanan, saw the set-apart city, renewed Yerushalayim, coming down out of the heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. ..................;

We understand now in different time of creation יהוה destroyed the earth in a process of preparing His chosen ones. Evil will be eradicated and good will prevail in the process of time. This time is not unknown or behind man’s ability to understand as it is in many religions. The Torah unveil all what man need to know concerning times and seasons. ....... Christians boast themselves to know the truth unfortunately walk in darkness following the teaching of those teachers who do not know the truth.
The truth is the Torah (Yochanan 17:17, Psalm 119: 142,160).   In the age we are living Elohim has sent great delusion to those who do not love the truth.
2Th 2:10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, in order for them to be saved.
2Th 2:11 and for this reason Elohim sends them a working of delusion, for them to believe the falsehood,1 Footnote: 1Eze. 20:25, John 9:39, John 12:40, Acts 7:42, Rom. 1:24-28. 2Th 2:12 in order that all should be judged who did not believe the truth (Torah), but have delighted in the unrighteousness (living like pagans). ....
Strong’s # 4106 gives us the definition of “Delusion” which is the Greek word “planos” meaning: wrong opinion, error in a moral sense, a working of error...................
.יהושע speaking to the Yehudin (Jews) says: “you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free” (Yochanan 8:32).................
Unrighteousness:Strong’s # G93
ἀδικία adikia ad-ee-kee'-ah........ From G94; (legal) injustice (properly the quality, by implication the act); moral wrongfulness (of charater, life or act): - iniquity, unjust, unrighteousness, wrong.
Iniquity is the transgression of the Torah:
1Jn 3:4 whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the Torah: for sin is the transgression of the Torah.  ...............
Back to the book of B’reshit:…… and the Ruach of Elohim moved upon the face of the waters. According to Hebrew teaching, this is the Ruach of Messiah as it is written in:  Isa 11:2 The Spirit of יהוה shall rest upon Him – the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of יהוה,  Verse 3… and there was light ……
Again here we see light, which is not the daily light, just because the sun was not yet created at this point.
The sun was created the fourth day, verses 14-18 and has a special meaning which we are going to see later.
What is the foundation of the world? A Tzadek (Righteous).
Pro 10:25 As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous (tzadek) is an everlasting foundation......
A Tzadek is also referred as light:
Joh 8:12 Therefore יהושע spoke to them again, saying, I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall by no means walk in darkness, but possess the light of life.”
Act 7:52 “Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who before announced the coming of the Righteous One (tzadek), of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers,
Verse 4 ---
Gen 1:4 and Elohim saw the light, that it was good. and Elohim separated the light from the darkness.  Gen 1:5 and Elohim called the light ‘day’ and the darkness He called ‘night.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the first day.
How can we have “day” and “night” when the sun and the moon are not created at this stage?  Christians offer an explanation which is out of context of scriptures. Does Elohim speak here about literal or spiritual day and night on the first day? Remember as we can read the sun and the moon were created on the fourth day. To change anything that is to try to twist the work of Messiah and make it obsolete.  To understand we need to go in the sod of interpretation. Sha’ul in his divine given wisdom makes a midrash in the sod writing to the believers in Thessalonica, using the verses 4 and 5 of B’reshit he writes:
1Th 5:4 but you, brothers, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 1Th 5:5 for you are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
We see that Sha’ul use the Torah to explain the good work (sons of the day) versus the evil work (darkness).
In Hebrew we have the “Yetzer HaRa”, evil deeds, versus “Yetzer Tov” the good deeds..... Good and evil are part of the creation. Did you know it?
Isa 45:6 so that they know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none but Me. I am יהוה, and there is none else, Isa 45:7 forming light and creating (bara) darkness, making peace and creating evil (Ra). I, יהוה, do all these.’
Pro 16:4 יהוה has made all for His purpose, and also the wrong for the day of evil (Ra)………..
Verse 5: First the evening than the morning: Here we have an understanding that the day will start at the point of darkness (without Messiah) and then will come the day light will come.  Luke speaking of the work of Yochanan the Immerser:
Luk 1:78 through the tender compassion of our Elohim, with which the daybreak from on high has looked upon us, Luk 1:79 to give light to those who sit in darkness, and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
According to B’reshit 1:5 man will come out of darkness into the light .
Joh 1:5 and the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. Joh 3:19 “And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were wicked.
Act 26:18 to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light,1 and the authority of Satan (darkness) to Elohim (light), in order for them to receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are set-apart by belief in Me.’ Footnote: 1Isa. 42:6-7, Isa. 60:2-3, Rev. 21:24.
Eph 6:12 Because we do not wrestles against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual matters of wickedness in the heavenlies.
1Pe 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a set-apart nation, a people for a possession, that you should proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light,(this verse is based on SH’mot 19:5-6)
1Jn 2:8 Again I write you a fresh command, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light now shines.
Here we see clearly that the light is to overcome darkness, good versus evil.  The world light is found 5 time between verse 3 and 5 .Five is the number for Torah the Five books of Moshe, Five is also the letter “He” in the Hebrew alphabet and represent favor, having the fifth position in the “tree of life” (see the midrash: The tree of life), represented by the life of Abraham.
Elohim set the principle of life to be seen and understood in His word. In יהושע’s time people understood that the full revelation was in the sod the mystery embedded in the Torah. Light need darkness to be revealed, good need evil to be understood. This is a major principle of life, without evil, good lost its signification and become void. This principle is valid for many others process, clean and unclean, small and tall, long and short, patient and impatient, pure and impure, pair and impair, save and lost etc…….
Gen 1:4 and Elohim saw the light, that it was good: and Elohim divided the light from the darkness.
Gen 1:5 and Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. .....
Elohim saw that the light was good and decided to divide (separate, selected, make distinction) from the darkness:
---- Darkness: Strong’s # H2822......... חשׁך chôshek kho-shek'
From H2821; the dark; hence (literally) darkness; figuratively misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness: - dark (-ness), night, obscurity............
IGNORANCE! Can you see? Many people today are ignorant of the truth (Torah) and so are in darkness, while proclaiming that they are saved
We see here that the Hebrew word darkness is not limited to obscurity but embrace the notion of destruction, death, ignorance, wickedness, night
So we can understand Sha’ul speaking to the Thessalonians:
1Th 5:4 but ye, brethren, are not in darkness (ignorance), that that day should overtake you as a thief....... 1Th 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.........
Now let me show you something which comes from the creation and how it is reveal in the Torah:
---- Gen 1:5 and Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day........
We discover the construction of what is call “one day” it begins with the evening which precede the night and it was the first day.......
One day is equal as we know to one thousand year (Psalm 90:4, 2nd Kefa 3:8). Now look at this and consider:
---- Adam following Chawah (Eve) sinned and his life was reduced to one thousand year, he died short before Noach (see chart at the end of the parasha).
The period of Adam’s life started with erev (evening) or dusk, moved to darkness (night) which brought destruction with Noach’s generation when all righteous people had died, one thousand year (one day):
From Adam to Messiah, darkness and light rule in alternative movement until the fourth day when messiah came:
From Noach to Moshe light and darkness rule over the heathen nation descendants from Ham and Yapeth (sons of Noach); light through the patriarchs Abraham, Itzakh and Ya’acov having been preserved by Noach’s son Shem, Eber. Moshe took over the light, gave to Yehoshua son of Nun, who will bring it to the Children of Israel in the promise Land. The light will be kept by the Judges period until King David came to bring the greatest light of Elohim in Israel which found its climate in Sh’lomo’s time and decline also at the end of his life around 1000 B.C.
From this time (1000B.C.) a period of great darkness (night) came upon the world until Messiah came in the fourth day (b’reshit/Gen.1:14-19) (year 4000). From Messiah until our days, light (day) will rule the world in the midst of darkness.
The Millennium will see the reign of Messiah who is the light of the world and the Qadosh One (Saints) take dominion over darkness, tremendous change will take place especially in Yerushlayim where Light will rule.
Rev 21:23 and the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of YHWH did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof....... Rev 21:24 and the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
Rev 21:25 and the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.... Rev 21:26 and they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it....
Can you see how far night and day, darkness and light are connected with ignorance, wickedness, misery, destruction, and righteousness, life, and peace?....At the end of the Millennium, night will be destroyed forever and Light will shine forever.
Rev 22:4 and they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads..;Rev 22:5 and there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for YHWH Elohim giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and ever.Rev 22:6 and he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and YHWH Elohim of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
Rev 22:7 behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
Verses 6-9. .....Gen 1:6 and Elohim said, “Let an expanse come to be in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” Gen 1:7 and Elohim made the expanse, and separated the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse. And it came to be so.
Gen 1:8 and Elohim called the expanse ‘heavens.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the second day. Gen 1:9 And Elohim said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it came to be so.
Heaven: Shamayim (Hebrew) Shemayim (Chaldean) Dual of "the heavens"; in the Qabbalah, the celestial world of the stars, sun, planets, and moon. "The real meaning of Sha-mayeem is, that the heavens are made of {Hebrew char} i.e., esh fire, mayeem water; also soo mayeem, the heaven carries the waters" (Myer, Qabbalah 348). As a Hebrew dual form, the heavens were anciently conceived of as dual -- the higher and lower heavens. Nevertheless, it is constantly used likewise to signify heavens in the usual sense of plurality (Rakefet).
The Water is a vital element in human life. Without water human being cannot live, we need water every day, when we are thirsty, to wash ourselves, to cook.
The water is a picture of life itself.
As the body needs water in order to survive, the soul of man needs also water which is the word of Elohim
Eph 5:26 in order to set it apart and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word,1
Joh 3:5 יהושע answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he is unable to enter into the reign of Elohim. Act 2:38 And Kĕpha said to them, “Repent, and let each one of you be immersed in the Name of יהושע Messiah for the forgiveness of sins.1 And you shall receive the gift of the Set-apart Spirit
Isa 30:20 Though יהוה gave you bread of adversity and water of affliction, your Teacher1 shall no longer be hidden. But your eyes shall see your Teacher1, Footnote: 1Or teachers. See also Joel 2:23.
Isa 44:3 ‘For I pour water on the thirsty, and floods on the dry ground. I pour My Spirit on your seed, and My blessing on your offspring,
In Hebrew thoughts, the world of Yetzirah is also called the world of waters. (Yashanet on Revelation the second heaven).
Verse 7: Elohim separated the water under the heavens and the water above. …..
Read:
Psa 148:4 Praise Him, heavens of heavens, And you waters above the heavens!
Rev 17:15 and he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples, and crowds, and nations, and tongues. .......
Here the waters are and euphemism for people.
Waters...above it: This "firmament" has the sense of being solid in Hebrew; there may have been a crystalline "window" of ice in a heat sink 11 miles above the earth's surface, where extra water was held in reserve for a special contingency (7:11). It would also act as a receiver for the "music of the spheres", screen out much of the sun's harmful radiation and produce a stable, “hothouse" climate, even-tempered throughout the world; these allowed for the radically-longer lives seen in the chapters ahead…. "Heavens": or "skies"; the word is dual rather than plural in form, indicating that there is a pair of two matching things that are described thereby. In traditional Hebrew thought, it refers to the sky and something “behind” it which in some way matches it. YHWH has concealed some concepts in His word that He intends for us to search out. (Prov. 25:2) In verse 1 the heavens already existed, but now YHWH gave it a more specific meaning. Psalm 68:33 tells us that YHWH rides on the “Heaven of heavens”—a Hebrew idiom for a “heaven” superior to or higher than the one we can see—“which were of old”, so this is what we are dealing with here at this most ancient point of the revealed history of the universe.(From One Bread Assembly).
Gen 1:9 And Elohim said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it came to be so. ...........
Until the day of Noach there was no season, everything was in perfect harmony with the work of Elohim during the Creation. Elohm watered the field and the trees with the dew from the morning. The seasons appeared after the flood:
Gen 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease......
I explain in the coming Parsha Noach how the water which was gathered during the creation came to be used during the flood.......
We can read from One bread Assembly:
Gathering: Heb. miqveh, usually used for waters of ritual purification. The root word also has the sense of waiting in expectation, and from it is also derived the word tiqvah, or hope. Note that on the first two days, before the scene of punishment was washed clean of its defilement, was this creation called "right". This is like a tidal wave that does not destroy us, but completely washes away the old order of confusion. From under heaven: "waters" seem to describe the beings that lusted for YHWH's position, overrunning the mountains (a symbol of YHWH's throne) before being confined to the "deep" (v. 2; Psalm 104:6-9). The final uprising of this age also begins from "the sea" (Rev. 13:1). Earth: Yet there was already an earth in verse 1. Now He narrows its definition to the dry ground. Later, the same word would come to have the specialized meaning of the Land of Israel in particular, for all of this creation is ultimately for the sake of Israel, because the whole point of all of this is to draw out a people for Himself. The word Seas is plural, but earth is singular, for it was not until the day of Peleg that the land was divided into the continents as we know them now. (10:25) In the same way, Israel was scattered. Earth can only be unified again as Israel is unified, though there is a great counterfeit afoot……….
11-13 Elohim said:
Gen 1:11 and Elohim said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the plant that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth.” And it came to be so. Gen 1:12 and the earth brought forth grass, the plant that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And Elohim saw that it was good. Gen 1:13 and there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the third day.
He commanded the earth to produce “fruits after its kind, whose seed is in itself*”.
*mushroom are fungis, and have no seed and thus cannot be eaten!
Fungi, which is separate from plants, animals, and bacteria. One major difference is that fungal cells havecell walls that contain chitin, unlike the cell walls of plants, which contain cellulose. These and other differences show that the fungi form a single group of related organisms, named the Eumycota (true fungior Eumycetes), that share a common ancestor (a monophyletic group).
If we learn that the Torah shows us or teach us something, we will look that the word “Tree” is the Hebrew word “etz” and the word “tzelem” which means “image” in which man was created. In the scriptures “tree” is often a metaphor for righteous people.
Psalm 1:3, YeshaYahu 61:3, Mattityahu 15:13, Yochanan 15:2.
Seed is the vector of life in different form seed is equal to the Greek word “sperma”.
Rom 1:3 concerning His Son, who came of the seed (sperma) of Dawiḏ according to the flesh, ...
1Co 15:38 but Elohim giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
Verses 14-19
Gen 1:14 and Elohim said, “Let lights come to be in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and appointed times, and for days and years,
Gen 1:15 and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth.” And it came to be so. Gen 1:16 and Elohim made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night, and the stars. Gen 1:17 and Elohim set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, Gen 1:18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good. Gen 1:19 and there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the fourth day. ......
Elohim creates now the light of the sun and of the moon, as well as the stars. Here again we have a deep meaning and a great teaching.
There are two rulers, the sun to rule the day and the moon to rule the night. The deeper understanding is to be seen in that the sun is the picture of Yehowah and His Mashiach ruling the Earth, the moon is a picture of the Assembly who receive the light from the sun and bring it to the darkness (world).
First of all the stars which until this very day, no human being has ever approached....
Psa 147:4 He appoints the number of the stars He gives names to all of them....
Isa 40:26 Lift up your eyes on high and see. Who has created these? He who is bringing out their host by number, He calls them all by name, by the greatness of His might and the strength of His power – not one is missing.
Gen 15:5 And He brought him (Abraham) outside and said, “Look now toward the heavens, and count the stars if you are able to count them.” And He said to him, “So are your seed.”
To Abraham, Elohim shown the stars and told him that his descendants will be as numerous as the stars. If we know the principle: natural for spiritual there is a direct relation between man and stars!
Verse 16: The greater light to rule the day, the lesser light to rule the night.  The stars are also included in the same sentence. If we find out who are the sun and the moon, we can by logic also find out what the stars represent.   The Sun: The greater light. The prophet Malachi speaks of it and calls it “Sun of righteousness”:
Mal 4:2 “But to you who fear My Name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. And you shall go out and leap for joy like calves from the stall. .................
This is an allegory pointing to Messiah. The people of this day knew very well that Messiah would come in the fourth day, according to Psalm 90:4 they understood that Messiah will come on the fourth day of 4000 years from creation.
In the creation each day represent 1000 Years (Psalm 90:4, 2nd Kefa 3:8) .
Because the sun was created on the fourth day to rule the day, people knew that when Messiah will come in the year 4000 He will rule over Elohim’s flock.   The Moon has no light on his own, it receive light from the sun.
Remember יהושע says in Yochanan/John 8:12 “I am the light of the world: He that follows me shall have the light of life”. The moon follows the sun and receives its light. In Hebrew thoughts, Sun = Messiah, Moon= Kahal (Hebrew), the Assembly, the chosen Ones or Ekklesias (Greek). We see here the Sod or deep meaning of interpretation.
The P’shat/Literal level: The sun gives light so we have the day. The moon gives light to the night.
The Remez --- The Sun point to Messiah who is the light of the word .
The days are those walking in the Torah who is a light unto those who believe (Psalm 119:105).
The Moon represent the Assembly who receive his light from Messiah the Sun of Righteousness (Malachi 4:2). The believers by keeping the Torah and bringing fruits of righteousness rule spiritually over darkness of this world the people outside the Torah. We will see later that the creation of man and woman has also its own interpretation.
Let us also look at another verse concerning the stars.....
Psa 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of El; and the firmament sheweth his handyworkPsa 19:2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.... Psa 19:3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Psa 19:4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sunPsa 19:5 which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race  Psa 19:6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
First of all we shall know that during the day we don’t see the stars because of the day-light, there are still there and become seen at dusk.
The firmament or the ark .
Handywork: Strong’s # H4639   מעשׂה ma‛ăśeh ah-as-eh'
From H6213; an action (good or bad); generally a transaction; abstractly activity; by implication a product (specifically a poem) or (generally) property: - act, art, + bakemeat, business, deed, do (-ing), labour, thing made, ware of making, occupation, thing offered, operation, possession, X well, ([handy-, needle-, net-]) work, (-ing, -manship), wrought.
The firmament or handywork show the actions, the activity of Elohim mighty works. Here we can understand why since the days of old, people have searched the stars. The heavens are divided into twelve zodiac signs. We know that it is forbidden for us to search the stars in order to know the future.
Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch..... Deu 18:11 or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.... Deu 18:12 for all that do these things are an abomination unto YHWH: and because of these abominations YHWH thy Elohim doth drive them out from before thee.... I know many of us have look at the horoscope, we did it out of ignorance but now we know that our future is hidden in messiah יהושע, we don’t have to worry, only those outside the covenant look at the horoscope to know about their life.
I have neglected astronomy since the day I came to follow Messiah. Shortly I read from a man Philipp Todd Derstine who explained beautiful things concerning the astronomic signs in the firmament which brought me back to look at the signs, not in order to know about my future, rather to understand the deeper secrets which יהוה display in front of the all world.....
Quote from Philipp Todd Derstine:
Yahweh designed the Zodiac to coincide beautifully with the equinox in such a way that the Zodiac lent extremely relevant meaning to the feasts as they were occurring.   In other words, Yahweh wanted Passover to be kept near the spring equinox because it was by His design that the sun was in the sign of Aries during the equinox. Aries the Ram is drenched (immerse) with Passover meaning.  These relationships were well-understood in Yahshua’s day, as we are about to see..... We can learn…from the statements of Philo, Josephus, and Musaeus, and not them only, but still earlier writers, the two Agathobuli, famous as teachers of Aristobulus the Great…These authors, in explaining the problems of the Exodus state that the Passover ought invariably to be sacrificed after the spring equinox, at the middle of the first month; and that this occurs when the sun is passing through the first sign…of the Zodiacal cycle [i.e. Aries, the Ram].  Aristobulus adds that it is necessary at the Passover festival that not only the sun but the moon as well should be passing through an equinoctial sign [a reference to Libra].  There are two of these signs, one in the spring, and one in the autumn, diametrically opposite each other.  On the day of the Passover--14th of the month after sunset-- the moon will occupy the position diametrically opposite the sun, as we can see when the moon is full; the sun will be in the sign of the spring equinox, the moon inevitably in that of the autumnal [Libra, which Philo calls the Scales].
There can be no doubt that the “first sign of the Zodiacal cycle,” referred to by Anatolius and Philo, was the sign of Aries the ram.  This lines up with the meaning of Passover, since Isaac’s life was spared in Genesis 22 when Yahweh provided a ram out of the thicket at the point when Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son.  The Jewish sages believed that this story took place around Passover.  Fred Coulter in his book The Christian Passover presents strong evidence that the Abrahamic Covenant was ratified on Passover in Genesis 15.  In a very real sense, Genesis 22 is the original Passover story, which is the story of a sacrificial ram sparing the life of the promised seed, or should we say the Promised Seed giving His Life in order to spare everyone else’s.  YHWH designed the heavens for signs and seasons in a marvelous fashion which not one of us fully comprehends; but two things are certain,  ---- 1) from Abraham to יהושע the sun dwelt in Aries/Ram during the month of March and early April, and --- 2) Yahweh with forethought placed Aries/Ram there during that epoch to picture the great type and antitype that played themselves out from Mt. Moriah to Goshen and finally Calvary. ..... In John 1:29 by John the Baptist: “Behold the Lamb/Ram of God which takes away the sin of the world.”  Therefore, Aries is a picture of the Messiah’s first coming, whose atoning mission was capped on a torture stake on Passover day, March 27, 31 AD, when the sun was still in Aries.  Many in the holyday-keeping movement neglect or reject these kinds of typological and theological criteria for intercalation, despite the fact that both Philo and Josephus plainly state that Passover must fall when the sun is in the sign of the Ram!
Make no mistake, Aries is a theological concept in the Heavens put there by Yahweh for a purpose, and those in the calendar-setting business who ignore it are out of touch with a great cosmic spiritual reality.  Back at the time of Abraham’s birth, the precession of the equinoxes   had recently moved the sun from Taurus into Aries during the spring equinox. By the time of the Crucifixion (some 2100 years later), the slow precession of the equinoxes had moved the sun through the Ram (it taking 2160 years for the sun to traverse 30 degrees, or one sign of the Zodiac). By the first half of the first Century, the sun was only a few degrees into the constellation Aries during Passover, and getting ready to transit into Pisces during the spring equinox over the next two generations.”  ....  Philipp helps us to discover how יהוה has placed marvellous work in the face of the all world. He explains in another place the famous “star of Bethlehem” at יהושע’s birth. What was this star that the wise men were looking at?
Mat 2:1 Now when Yehoshua was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
Mat 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him......
The saw the star in the East! These men were not magi as it is pretended nor kings, but shepherd train to observe the stars from generations of old.....
During the birth of יהושע Philipp explain that the star magnitude was so bright that the men new that it was the sign of Messiah’s birth. But how they could recognize the phenomenon, it was never sighted before?    If we look at some modern material like from Redshif we discover the ecliptic movement of the planets running their race around the sun, like the earth. They do all at their own speed, so that we have signs like moon eclipse and sun eclipse when sun moon and earth come in a particular conjunction. In the year Yehoshua was born, there was a conjunction which never was before and never has been after, Saturn and Venus stood in the same axe so that their magnitude sighted from the earth increased to be a visible sign in the east e.g. Babylon which didn’t exist before.
Verses 20-22 ---- Gen 1:20 and Elohim said, “Let the waters teem with shoals of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth on the face of the expanse of the heavens.” ....Gen 1:21 and Elohim created great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters teemed, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And Elohim saw that it was good.   Gen 1:22 and Elohim blessed them, saying, “Bear fruit and increase, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.”
Again after the same principle, the P’shat or plain text reveals the literal meaning we need to go back to the Sod or secret meaning to understand.
Daniel teaches us that in the last day knowledge will increase (Daniel 12:4). This is for all mankind either natural or spiritual. In this last century, knowledge has increase in a tremendous way in the technical as well as for divine understanding of the scriptures....
We remember that water represent also people and the sea, nations. We know according to Vayikra 16 that there are clean and unclean animals and birds.... In Hebrew thoughts, animals and fowls have a meaning. They represent:
*  People behaviour
*  Fowls after their kind represent in the sod the different groups of angels and demons in the heavenly
The duality of life is understood in this verse in YeshaYahu 45:7: light and darkness, peace and evil”. There are many things understood out of its opposite, like night and day, life and death, good and evil…..
In order to be understood something must be measured to its opposite like: fast and slow.
Sha’ul explain that the heavenly place is a mixed place:
--- Eph 6:12 because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual matters of wickedness in the heavenlies. (this is the world of Yetzirah)

The prophet Daniel speaks in similar words:
--- Dan 10:7 and I, Dani’ĕl, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision, but a great trembling fell upon them, and they ran away to hide themselves.
Dan 10:11 and he said to me, “O Dani’ĕl, man greatly appreciated, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” And while he was speaking this word to me, I stood trembling. Dan 10:12 and he said to me, “Do not fear, Dani’ĕl, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and to humble yourself before your Elohim, your words were heard, and I have come because of your words. Dan 10:13 “But the head of the rule of Persia withstood me twenty-one days. And see, Miḵa’ĕl, one of the chief heads, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the sovereigns of Persia. Dan 10:14 “And I have come to make you understand what is to befall your people in the latter days. For the vision is yet for days to come.” 24-31
Gen 1:24 And Elohim said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: livestock and creeping creatures and beasts of the earth, according to its kind.” And it came to be so.   Gen 1:25 and Elohim made the beast of the earth according to its kind, livestock according to its kind, and all that creep on the earth according to its kind. And Elohim saw that it was good. Gen 1:26 and Elohim said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the livestock, and over all the earth and over all the creeping creatures that creep on the earth.”
Gen 1:27 and Elohim created the man in His image, in the image of Elohim He created him – male and female He created them. Gen 1:28 and Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said to them, “Bear fruit and increase, and fill the earth and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over all creatures moving on the earth.” Gen 1:29 and Elohim said, “See, I have given you every plant that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed, to you it is for food.
Gen 1:30 “And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the heavens, and to every creeping creature on the earth, in which there is life, every green plant is for food.” And it came to be so. Gen 1:31 and Elohim saw all that He had made, and see, it was very good. And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the sixth day.
Christianity want to see “g-d and Jesus” in the words “let us make man in our own images” saying that the “we” refers to “G-d and Jesus”. This of course is due to misinterpretation. By reading Yob 38:4-7 we get a hint ( Remez) who was present at creation namely the sons of Elohim, the Malek or messengers.
Job 38:4 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding. Job 38:5 Who set its measurements, if you know? Or who stretched the line upon it?
Job 38:6 Upon what were its foundations sunk? Or who laid its corner-stone, …
Job 38:7 when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of Elohim shouted for joy? ……27. Elohim created man in His own image. It is interesting to see that from all the creation, only man is created in the image of Elohim.
            1) Angels are not made in the image of Elohim, but are servants:
Rev 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.. Rev 22:9 and he said to me, “See, do not! For I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who are guarding the words of this book. Worship Elohim.”
Rev 19:10 and I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of יהושע: worship YHWH: for the testimony of יהושע is the spirit of prophecy............
To get the deep meaning we must see that Adam and Chawah (Eve) broke this image by transgressing the commandment of Elohimdo not” in chapter 2:17….
Mankind has the choice either to obey or to disobey this is the knowledge of the tree of good and evil. In Hebrew it is called Yetzer Tov (Good inclination) Yetzer HaRa (evil inclination). Man shall walk in the middle path.
This image was broken by Adam and we need the “tikkun” or restoration of what was broken. This can only come by following Messiah who is in the image of Elohim:
Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, at down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
The image is what reflects perfectly what the original is. We must consider that Elohim is Ruach and has no shape or form (Yochanan 5:37), 1st Tim. 6:16) Therefore it can only refers to moral attributes.
Is Elohim male and female? Let us approach the two aspect of Elohim male and female. This is highly mystical and cannot be approached with the natural. In order for us to understand, Elohim do the same in the earthly scale with Adam and Chawah. But let us look if we can understand the two aspect of Elohim which of course annihilate the “trinity” doctrine.  First of all we need to know that the Hebrew word for “Spirit”, “Ruach” is feminine gender and not masculine. Some Hebrew words which are in the original plural are translated in singular because of lack of understanding:
Ecc 12:1 Remember now thy Creators in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; …………..
The Hebrew text read:  Ecc 12:1 Remember now thy Creators (boreach, plural) in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Isa 54:5  For thy Maker is thine husband; YHWH of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The Elohim of the whole earth shall he be called.
The Hebrew read:
Isa 54:5 For thy Makers (boayliach ohsaich, plural) is thine husband; YHWH of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The Elohim of the whole earth shall he be called. ………….
Joh 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter (Ruach =she=the mother) will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him (her) unto you.
The son (יהושע the Word made flesh) is the produce of the Father YHWH and of the Mother, the Ruach
Christianity pretends that in Genesis 1:26, YHWH is speaking with “Jesus”! Is it true, or is it out of the imagination from so called “scholar” who do not consider the Hebrew context?
Let us look at it in the original context:
Gen 1:26 and Elohim said, Let us make man (singular) in our image, after our likeness: and let them (plural) have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  Gen 1:27 So Elohim created man in his own image, in the image of Elohim created he him(singular); male and female created he them.
The feminine aspect or site of YHWH is the Ruach also called “mother”. In proverbs wisdom/Chochmah is a “she”:
Pro 8:1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
Pro 8:2 She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
Pro 8:3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
In Exodus 20:12 we read:
Exo 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which YHWH thy Elohim giveth thee.
Let us compare with what we read in proverbs:
Pro 6:20 My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the Torah of thy mother:  --- Very interesting!
The concept is simple: In order for us in our limited understanding to be able to grasp what Elohim want us to know, he give us a “copy” of what is in the heavens above:
Exo 25:9 according to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.
Exo 25:40 and look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount. …
Heb 8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of Elohim when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. …..
No doubt that what was shown to Moshe was a copy of Heavenly things! This is why when we want to understand the scriptures many times we just need to look in our own life. Sorry for those who believe the satanic trinity which destroy the truth:
YHWH the Father and the Ruach the Mother produced together the WORD:
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with YHWH, and the Word was YHWH.
Joh 1:14 and the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. ………….
The Word became flesh in the year 4000 and NOT in B’reshit (Genese) 1:26!........
Elohim put man in the higher scale of creation to have dominion (to rule) over His creation. Apart from Elohim, mankind has developed conquest by forces and violence. Even today in the name of peace people are killed every day….Man was created on the sixth days this is why in gemetria the number six is the number of man (666)…One last point needs our reflexion:
Gen 1:31 and Elohim saw all that He had made, and see, it was very good. And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the sixth day. ....
In the creation, which include all details in the earth, either trees, fields, seeds, fish, animals, fowls, man, the sun the moon and the stars, the torah tells that it was very good! My question is: How then mankind complains today that more than one billion people lack of food, that there are not enough fishes in the seas, that the earth cannot product enough food for everybody? Do you know that the answer is in the Torah and very easy to find: sin, transgression of the divine commandments is the cause of all disasters. Please remember always that יהוה is perfect and has commanded us to be perfect as he is!
Chapter 2. ---
We are now going to step down in the world of creation and change to another heaven, from the world of emanation where nothing has substance and is ONE in all יהושע says My Father and I are ONE! The world of creation, “Beriah” where nothing exists in its physical form, but things become now form in the mind of Elohim. I know this may be difficult for some who claim the literal text only and deny that the text can be read in a deeper meaning. It was so with many so call Church Fathers who rejected allegories. Today if you search patiently the scriptures comparing the Brit Chadasha (Renewed Covenant) to the Torah, you will come to the same conclusion, we cannot understand if we refuse to look behind the letter. The world of Beriah (formation) is the world where we find the Throne of Elohim. Sha’ul speaks in 2nd Corint. 12:2 of the third heaven and call it “Paradise
verse 4......Paradise is also called “Gan Eden” in B’reshit 2:8. Depending the way we approach “Paradise” is in the third heaven. When we count from the world we are living in which is “Azilut” the world of action, it is the “Paradise” where Adam and Chawah were walking in the cool of the day is the second heaven, “Yetzirah”, as we can read in chapter three when Elohim drove Adam and Chawah out of Eden.
Down from Creation  in Azilut the world of emanation it is the third heaven. Azilut, Beriah and Yetzirah (Paradise).
In this chapter we see the transition from the world of creation (Beriah) into the world of formation (Yetzirah) also called the world of the soul. Here everything takes its final form.
Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their array. Gen 2:2 and on the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. Gen 2:3 and Elohim blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which Elohim in creating had made. Gen 2:4 These are the births of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that יהוה Elohim made earth and heavens. Gen 2:5 Now no shrub of the field was yet on the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for יהוה Elohim had not sent rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground, Gen 2:6 but a mist went up from the earth and watered the entire surface of the ground. Gen 2:7 and יהוה Elohim formed the man out of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils breath of life. And the man became a living being. Gen 2:8 and יהוה Elohim planted a garden in Ěḏen, to the east, and there He put the man whom He had formed. Gen 2:9 and out of the ground יהוה Elohim made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, with the tree of life in the midst of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Gen 2:10 and a river went out of Ěḏen to water the garden, and from there it divided and became four riverheads. Gen 2:11 The name of the first is Pishon, it is the one surrounding the entire land of Ḥawilah, where there is gold. Gen 2:12 and the gold of that land is good. Bdellium is there, and the shoham stone. Gen 2:13 and the name of the second river is Giḥon, it is the one surrounding the entire land of Kush. Gen 2:14 and the name of the third river is Ḥiddeqel, it is the one which goes toward the east of Ashshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.
Gen 2:15 and יהוה Elohim took the man and put him in the garden of Ěḏen to work it and to guard it. Gen 2:16 and יהוה Elohim commanded the man, saying, “Eat of every tree of the garden, Gen 2:17 but do not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day that you eat of it you shall certainly die.”
Gen 2:18 and יהוה Elohim said, “It is not good for the man to be alone, I am going to make a helper for him, as his counterpart.”
Verse 5. --- As we have already seen, nothing has grown because nothing was literally in its place. This is understood in the verse itself:
Gen 2:5 Now no shrub of the field was yet on the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for יהוה Elohim had not sent rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground, ….. Elohim had not sent rain on the earth. This rain is brought by the Ruach of Elohim
The creation is still in its state of creation process and will now undergo the step of “formation” the final shape. Separation will take form and each entity will receive its own place. The Creation is after this pattern from the less to the higher…
- Material Vegetal  -- - Animal  - Mankind ---- They all depend from one another. This is why mankind destroys the creation by his own selfishness (power to get wealth) and sin, and Elohim will have to stop man’s wickedness in order to recreate all things as it was previously, when the circle of 6000 years will come to the End…..
Verse 9…..  The tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil: --- We have here literally two trees which are in opposition. The one is forbidden to eat by Elohim to Adam verse 17, the other the tree of life is removed from his reaches Chapter 3:22, so that Adam (mankind) cannot live forever. It is very interesting to pray for understanding. Many years I read the first chapter from the book of B’reshit without any deep understanding, having followed the teaching of man without knowledge. When I started to study from the Hebrew perspective, things began to change and my understanding was more and more enlarged. I realized how יהושע and the Schaliach (Apostles, send ones) spoke about the Torah and out of the Torah.  Every time we look only at the literal text we miss the most important. יהושע spoke in parable in order to hide some truth from some groups of people, which he explained only to his talmidin (disciples).  Elohim has also hidden revelation behind the P’shat or literal level. We need patience and many times the help of other brethren in order to understand. Once we are trained, we begin to see mysteries Heb. 5:14.
Heb 5:14 But solid food is for the mature whose senses have been trained by practice to discern both good and evil. ....
From these two trees one brings death, the other eternal life. We have seen already that tree represent man or people. So these two trees represent two kinds of people: Tehilim / Proverbs 3:18 tell us that wisdom is a tree of life. Sha’ul says to Timothy that scriptures are able to make one wise unto salvation (2nd Tim. 3:15). The book of Luke tells us that the child יהושע grew in wisdom (Luke 2:52). יהושע is also called “the Word of Elohim (Yochanan 1/14).  We can say that יהושע is the living word of Elohim, because he was without sin and we know that sin is the transgression of the Torah (1st Yoch. 3:4).
The tree of life is the Torah and by extension The Word:
Rev 22:1 and he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb.
Rev 22:2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
What does Yochanan mean by “the leaves of the tree”, let look what the prophet Yremeyahu write:
Jer 36:21 So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll (Torah): and he took it out of Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the princes which stood beside the king.  Jer 36:22 Now the king sat in the winterhouse in the ninth month: and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him.  Jer 36:23 and it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.
No doubt that leaves and pages or scroll  have the same meaning!  The tree of the knowledge of good and evil brought death to mankind, not the inherited sin transmitted by DNA as the Christians and Roman Catholic want people to believe. We are set free from the power of sin through Messiah יהושע. No other religion can make people free from sin. If sin was in the D.N.A. from Adam why then Elohim says to Cain:
Gen 4:6 and YHWH said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? Gen 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.....
The door was his heart and Cain had to change his countenance in order to master the power of sin!
Rom 5:12 For this reason, even as through one man sin did enter into the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned –
Rom 6:6 knowing this, that our old man was impaled with Him, so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, to serve sin no longer.
Col 1:13 who has delivered us from the authority of darkness1 and transferred us into the reign of the Son of His love,
2Co 5:21 for He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of Elohim. .....
Just after Elohim forbid Adam (mankind) to eat of the tree, Elohim says that he will make him a help met for him-19-20….
Gen 2:19 and from the ground יהוה Elohim formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called each living creature that was its name. Gen 2:20 so the man gave names to all livestock, and to the birds of the heavens, and to every beast of the field. But for the man there was not found a helper for him, as his counterpart.
We can understand that the helper for Adam will have the same nature as Adam, in the text: “but for man there was not found a helper for him, as his counterpart”. We see clearly that man is over beast.  Animals are not equal to mankind. Unfortunately today people under humanistic understanding want animals to have the same statutes as mankind. In Europe and US pets like dogs have become same statutes like their masters, business for pets dogs, cats, birds, fish go over one billion euro only in Europe while many men have no home to stay:
Ecc 3:21 Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the beast, which goes down to the earth?
It is clear that the Ruach of man is not the same as the Ruach from animals. Animals will not be resurrected.  The tree of knowledge of good and evil represent the “free will” of mankind.21-25.
Gen 2:21 So יהוה Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept. And He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
Gen 2:22 and the rib which יהוה Elohim had taken from the man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. Gen 2:23 and the man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one is called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of man.”  Gen 2:24 for this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. Gen 2:25 and they were both naked, the man and his wife, yet they were not ashamed.
The woman “isha” came out of man. Here again there is a deep meaning, presented to us by Sha’ul the schaliach (apostle, sent one) and also explained in the Hebrew thoughts. The man (Adam) was created first and then the woman, not the other way round. Today the feminist movement tries to let women believe the other way is also correct “woman emancipation” started 1968 and now has become for most of the women of this world the general rule. Man cannot live without woman and the other way is the same……
24….. and they shall be one flesh.
Sha’ul says to the Ephesians (5:31-32) that it is a mystery or as we know now a SOD meaning, hidden truth, and that he speaks of Messiah and the assembly after having quoted B’reshit 2:24..
Eph 5:28 in this way husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. .Eph 5:29 for no one ever hated his own flesh, but feeds and cherishes it, as also the Master does the assembly. ..Eph 5:30 because we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. ..Eph 5:31 “For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” .
Eph 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning the Messiah and the assembly.....
Sha’ul makes the association between man and wife and Messiah and the Assembly (Qahal, Ekklesia). In Hebrew thoughts we are taught that the woman is a picture of the Assembly while the man is a picture of Messiah. So we can better understand why the woman will have to submit to her husband (Eph. 5:22). The primary was hidden in the creation on the first day of the sun and the moon...
Like the moon follows the sun and receives its light, the Assembly / Qahal follows Messiah יהושע in order to receive His light. Today  many women seek to get their “own liberty” “own right” and so reject their divine position from creation. They fight for position and same right in the so called modern society.................
Chapter 3 --- Before we start the chapter I want to quote from ISBE (International Standard Bible Encyclopedia), concerning man's condition before sin:
"Only in Eden has general revelation been adequate to the needs of man. Not being a sinner, man in Eden had no need of that grace of God itself by which sinners are restored to communion with Him, or of the special revelation of this grace of God to sinners to enable them to live with God. And not being a sinner, man in Eden, as he contemplated the works of God, saw God in the unclouded mirror of his mind with a clarity of vision, and lived with Him in the untroubled depths of his heart with a trustful intimacy of association, inconceivable to sinners"............
Sin blinds the mind, do you remember what Sha'ul says?
1Co 13:12 for now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
2Co 4:4 In whom the elohim of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious evangel of the Messiah, who is the image of YHWH, should shine unto them.
Chawah (Eve) took the initiative to listen to HaSatan (the adversary), the serpent instead to ask her husband. It is taught that women have a better sensitivity to the spiritual realm, and do not need to pray like men. If you are a woman reading here do not boast yourselves because this can easily become a snare if you don’t know the scriptures.
We can see in many Charismatic Christian Assemblies women self proclaimed prophetess, teachers, and even pastors. Unfortunately we also see in the Messianic Movement women proclaimed to be “rabbis”. When you ask them why is it that Sha’ul taught that it is not given a woman to teach man but to be silent (1st Timot.2:12), they push away the saying that it was only for Sha’ul’s time, it is no more valid nowadays, but Sha’ul says that it was because the woman transgressed!...
1Ti 2:12 but I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.1Ti 2:13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
1Ti 2:14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
The reason for a woman not to teach came from Chawah not from Sha’ul’s time! Don’t worry if you read this parasha and you are a woman, this statement do not make man better than woman, we both need Messiah, and LOVE!
In chapter 2:15 it is written that Elohim put Adam (mankind) in the garden to “dress” and “keep”. Again the literal text do not let see the full meaning. When we compare this verse with the position of Adam after sin we see that there is a difference.
In chapter 3:17-19 we see that the work of Adam (mankind) will be in the sweat of his face. It was not so in chapter 2.  Hebrew teaching reveals that to dress refers to the positive commandments (you shall) and to keep to the negative ones (don’t).
1-4 We find here a discussion between HaSatan and the woman. Satan is doing the same today with the “church” “ you don’t have to keep the Torah” “ you are free from the law” “you are under grace”, the “Shabbat is whatever day you like” , “you can eat whatever you like, all is sanctified by prayer” .
The first error was to listen to HaSatan. Does HaSatan lies to the woman or does he used her ignorance and twisted the scriptures?...........
Chapter 2:17 Elohim says to Adam “The day you eat of these tree you shall surely die”................
HaSatan tells the woman that she will not die, but been like Elohim (gods) not the mighty El of Israel but g-ds plural, just think about that.
Indeed we know that after eating of the fruit, Chawah didn’t die, neither Adam. They lived for more as 900 years.
Adam and Chawah had children (chap.4:1-2) Adam live 930 years in the gematria we see the work of Elohim: 9+3+0=12, divine government on earth. Adam lived 930 years by divine decree, and died having set the path for the next 3000 years for mankind.  Adam (mankind was born to live forever. The condition for it was to obey to Elohim chap.2:17. Psalm 90:4 and 2nd Kefa 3:8 give us understanding that in Elohim’s eyes one day equals 1000years. So Adam died in the same day as he ate of the fruit having not reached the age of 1000 year the first day.  So we can also understand that this is not the end of the story, just because the seventh day is also part of creation and came in place after Adam was created. The deeper meaning is that the seventh day represent the plan of salvation for mankind from Adam’ sin to the final redemption for Elohim’s Elect in Messiah יהושע.
HaSatan (the adversary) tried to tempt
יהושע the same way he did with Chawah (Eve). In Luke 4:1-13 יהושע is confronted to HaSatan been brought in the wilderness by the Ruach HaQodesh (Set Apart Spirit), instead to react like Chawah, יהושע reply to HaSatan by quoting the Torah and so HaSatan couldn’t make him fall.
Don’t be surprised if you found yourself lead in the wilderness!  The teaching of the scriptures is that the woman in order to have her position shall submit to her husband (Ephesians 5:22-23) .   Read what Sha’ul write to Timothy:
1Ti 2:12 But I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, rather, to be in silence. 1Ti 2:13 Because Aḏam was formed first, then Ḥawwah. .1Ti 2:14 And Aḏam was not deceived, but the woman, having been deceived, fell into transgression. ........... Christians make this verse void teaching that it is not for today’s church or that Sha’ul’s teaching was misogyny.
Today many women reject Sha’ul’s teaching and go their own ways. We see Christians ministry filled with woman boasting to have a great anointing from “the lord”  Women are as more precious to Elohim as man, but in order to follow scriptures we should give our best to respect the teaching of Elohim:” Thy desire shall be to thy husband and he shall rule over thee. This is Torah Sha’ul didn’t found out a new “law” but was expounding the reason why women couldn’t teach man in a public place.
This is not the teaching of man but the word of Elohim. 1st Corint 14:34-35 referring to B’reshit 3:16.
1Co 14:34 Let your women be silent in the assemblies, for they are not allowed to speak, but let them subject themselves, as the Torah also says.  1Co 14:35 and if they wish to learn whatever, let them ask their own husbands at home, for it is improper for women to speak in an assembly.
Unfortunately even in messianic congregation we see many woman rabbis approved by men.  I am not from the “macho group” a man shall love and care for his wife. This does not mean that the woman can do whatever she wants. The Torah has spoken it and it is established. ....
3:10 I was naked, I was afraid and I hid myself…
Rev 3:18 “I advise you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire,1 so that you become rich; and white garments, so that you become dressed, so that the shame of your nakedness might not be shown; and anoint your eyes with ointment, so that you see.....Adam blamed Chawah (Eve) who in turn tried to put the blame on HaSatan.....
3:15 enemity between HaSatan’s seed and the seed of the woman.
Joh 8:44You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you wish to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.
Act 13:10 and said, “O son of the devil, filled with all deceit and all recklessness, you enemy of all righteousness, shall you not cease perverting the straight ways of יהוה?
1Jn 3:8 The one doing sin is of the devil, because the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Elohim was manifested: to destroy the works of the devil.
The seed of the woman:
Luk 1:31 “And see, you shall conceive in your womb, and shall give birth to a Son, and call His Name יהושע.
Again there is a difference between HaSatan seed the fruits of darkness and the fruit of the light coming from the light.  ......
17….. cursed is the ground…..in B’reshit 8:20-21 we see that the curse is reversed after having undergone a “mikveh” baptism or purification by water.
Gen 8:20 And Noaḥ built an altar to יהוה, and took of every clean beast and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.  Gen 8:21 And יהוה smelled a soothing fragrance, and יהוה said in His heart, “Never again shall I curse the ground because of man, although the inclination of man’s heart is evil from his youth, and never again smite all living creatures, as I have done,
18; Thorns and thistles represent the hardship of life…………. Verse 19 :
Gen 3:19 “By the sweat of your face you are to eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are, and to dust you return.” .
From now on, man will have to give all his strength to find the way of eternal life. The circle from dust to dust is the way of every man until the time of redemption.
1Co 15:49 and as we have borne the likeness of the earthy, we shall also bear the likeness of the heavenly.   1Co 15:50 and this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood is unable to inherit the reign of Elohim, neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
The earthy man will be changed into a spiritual man as Adam was before sin.
22. Gen 3:22 and יהוה Elohim said, “See, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever...”
This is the last step. Now Adam will be thrown out of the world of creation Yetziarah where he was in direct communication with יהוה, to find himself in the world of action the world of Assiyah we are living now, where a natural body is needed:
Gen 3:21 and יהוה Elohim made coats of skin for the man and his wife and dressed them.
Many scholars teach that this was not a physical body but the “nefesh” or soul of man need a tent or tabernacle to dwell in (Yochanan 1:14)
22. Gen 3:22 and יהוה Elohim said, “See, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever...”
Gen 3:23 so יהוה Elohim sent him out of the garden of Ěḏen to till the ground from which he was taken,
Gen 3:24 and He drove the man out. And He placed keruḇim at the east of the garden of Ěḏen, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life. ..... From now on, Adam (mankind) will have to wait to the coming of righteous one, יהושע Messiah in order to be restored unto his Creator.
Psa 103:20 Bless יהוה, you His messengers, Mighty in power, who do His Word, Listening to the voice of His Word…..
Remember Sha’ul speak of Paradise and call it third heaven:
--- 2Co 12:2 I knew a man in the Messiah above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: YHWH knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. 2Co 12:3 and I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: YHWH knoweth;) 2Co 12:4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
I have explained before the third heaven when counted from the world of Asiayah become the second heaven, Paradise. the place where Adam and Chawah were living before יהוה drawn them out.  The angels who kept the word are in the presence of Elohim. We have now access to his throne through the sacrifice יהושע did for you and me.  From this chapter on, Elohim will expound his plan of salvation. We read and see the beautiful truth which is embedded in the Torah, revealing Messiah in the different level of interpretation, but never changing the truth or replacing it by another Gospel…………..
Chapter 4:
Gen 4:1 and Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from YHWH.  Gen 4:2 and she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. Gen 4:3 and in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto YHWH. Gen 4:4 and Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And YHWH had respect unto Abel and to his offering:  Gen 4:5 but unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. Gen 4:6 and YHWH said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
Gen 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.  Gen 4:8 and Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
Gen 4:9 and YHWH said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?  Gen 4:10 and he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundGen 4:11 and now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;  Gen 4:12 when thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.  Gen 4:13 and Cain said unto YHWH, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
We have now the sin of Cain. We know that sin is the transgression of the Torah (1st Yochan./John 3:4). It is very interesting to see that the Torah is called the Torah of Moshe who was born more than two thousand years after Cain! From the other side we see that that Torah existed at the creation and was not the work of man. Torah came with Adam!
In another place we will learn the difference between the Torah and the Torah of Moshe.

We have also the explanation of the refusal of Cain offering in his action: “Cain brought of the fruit of the ground……”
With Abel we read: “Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat”
What does the Torah teach:
---Num 18:12 All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto YHWH, them have I given thee.
How was Abel’s action understood in the first century, the apostles and talmidin (disciples)?
Heb 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto YHWH a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, YHWH testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
“a more excellent sacrifice than Cain”. If we look another perspective the order of creation is first the material world, than the vegetal world before the animals and the crown of creation is Adam (mankind).
Saying that Abel brought a better sacrifice was that he came with the blood of animals, wich is what Yehowah will require in the Levitical priesthood.
Once again we see that Torah was taught to Abel for him to know how to bring an offering to Elohim.
Gen 4:14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. This curse has a name: exile. The Deluge would come because men were violent against each other; the sages say the Temple was destroyed because brothers hated one another for no reason, but were only interested in having their own opinions heard. We, too, have been in exile for 2,730 years. Do we want to go home? If we do right, won’t we also be accepted? (See Y’hezq’el 3:17-21; 18:4-24) That can be the end of the story--if we allow it to be.(One bread Assembly)……….. 2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Gen 4:15 and YHWH said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And YHWH set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.  Gen 4:16 and Cain went out from the presence of YHWH, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.      Presence of YHWH: geographically, the place bearing His name (Deut. 26:2; 2 Chron. 6:20). “Nod” means vagrancy, exile, wandering. Though Adam and Chawwah had sinned, they had a goal to work back toward; Qayin’s life was now aimless.(One bread assembly)……………
.Let us see what the Book of Yasher has to say about this passage:
Chapter 1:26.and after this Cain repented having slain his brother, and he was sadly grieved, and he wept over him and it vexed him exceedingly..... 27. and Cain rose up and dug a hole in the field, wherein he put his brother's body, and he turned the dust over it.  28. and YHWH knew what Cain had done to his brother, and YHWH appeared to Cain and said unto him, Where is Abel thy brother that was with thee? 29. and Cain dissembled, and said, I do not know, am I my brother's keeper? And YHWH said unto him, What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground where thou hast slain him. 30. For thou hast slain thy brother and hast dissembled before me, and didst imagine in thy heart that I saw thee not, nor knew all thy actions. 31. But thou didst this thing and didst slay thy brother for naught and because he spoke
rightly to thee, and now, therefore, cursed be thou from the ground which opened its mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand, and wherein thou didst bury him. 32. and it shall be when thou shalt till it, it shall no more give thee its strength as in the beginning, for thorns and thistles shall the ground produce, and thou shalt be moving and wandering in the earth until the day of thy death. 33. and at that time Cain went out from the presence of YHWH, from the place where he was, and he went moving and wandering in the land toward the east of Eden, he and all belonging to him. .....
Cain generation:
Gen 4:17 and Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
Yasher 1:35. And at that time Cain also began to build a city: and he built the city and he called the name of the city Enoch, according to the name of his son; for in those days YHWH had given him rest upon the earth, and he did not move about and wander as in the beginning……
Gen 4:18 and unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech....
Let us read more from the book of Yasher in the same chapter: 3. And it was in the days of Enosh that the sons of men continued to rebel and transgress against God, to increase the anger of YHWH against the sons of men.
4.and the sons of men went and they served other gods, and they forgot YHWH who had created them in the earth: and in those days the sons of men made images of brass and iron, wood and stone, and they bowed down and served them. 5.and every man made his god and they bowed down to them, and the sons of men forsook YHWH all the days of Enosh and his children; and the anger of YHWH was kindled on account of their works and abominations which they did in the earth. 6.and YHWH caused the waters of the river Gihon to overwhelm them, and he destroyed and consumed them, and he destroyed the third part of the earth, and notwithstanding this, the sons of men did not turn from their evil ways, and their hands were yet extended to do evil in the sight of YHWH. 7.and in those days there was neither sowing nor reaping in the earth; and there was no food for the sons of men and the famine was very great in those days. 8.and the seed which they sowed in those days in the ground became thorns, thistles and briers; for from the days of Adam was this declaration concerning the earth, of the curse of God, which he cursed the earth, on account of the sin which Adam sinned before YHWH 9.and it was when men continued to rebel and transgress against God, and to corrupt their ways, that the earth also became corrupt. 10.and Enosh lived ninety years and he begat Cainan;
11.and Cainan grew up and he was forty years old, and he became wise and had knowledge and skill in all wisdom, and he reigned over all the sons of men, and he led the sons of men to wisdom and knowledge; for Cainan was a very wise man and had understanding in all wisdom, and with his wisdom he ruled over spirits and demons; 12. and Cainan knew by his wisdom that God would destroy the sons of men for having
sinned upon earth, and that the Lord would in the latter days bring upon them the waters of the flood.
13.and in those days Cainan wrote upon tablets of stone, what was to take place in time to come, and he put them in his treasures. 14.and Cainan reigned over the whole earth, and he turned some of the sons of men to the service of God. Cainan lived was born around 300 C.E. and lived 910 Years so that he knew Noach.
Gen 4:19 and Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
Gen 4:20 and Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.
Gen 4:21 and his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.
Gen 4:22 and Zillah, she also bare Tubal-cain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah. Gen 4:23 and Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt. Gen 4:24 if Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold. Gen 4:25 and Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For Elohim, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. Gen 4:26  and to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of YHWH. The death of Cain: Yasher chapter 1: 26.and Lamech was old and advanced in years, and his eyes were dim that he could not see, and Tubal Cain, his son, was leading him and it was one day that Lamech went into the field and Tubal Cain his son was with him, and whilst they were walking in the field, Cain the son of Adam advanced towards them; for Lamech was very old and could not see much, and Tubal Cain his son was very young. 27.and Tubal Cain told his father to draw his bow, and with the arrows he smote Cain,
who was yet far off, and he slew him, for he appeared to them to be an animal. 28. and the arrows entered Cain's body although he was distant from them, and he fell to the ground and died. 29.and YHWH requited Cain's evil according to his wickedness, which he had done to his brother Abel, according to the word of YHWH which he had spoken. 30.and it came to pass when Cain had died, that Lamech and Tubal went to see the animal which they had slain, and they saw, and behold Cain their grandfather was fallen dead upon the earth.
31.and Lamech was very much grieved at having done this, and in clapping his hands together he struck his son and caused his death. 32.and the wives of Lamech heard what Lamech had done, and they sought to kill him.
33. and the wives of Lamech hated him from that day, because he slew Cain and Tubal Cain, and the wives of Lamech separated from him, and would not hearken to him in those days. 34.and Lamech came to his wives, and he pressed them to listen to him about this matter. 35.and he said to his wives Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice O wives of Lamech, attend to my words, for now you have imagined and said that I slew a man with my wounds, and a child with my stripes for their having done no violence, but surely know that I am old and grey-headed, and that my eyes are heavy through age, and I did this thing unknowingly. 36.and the wives of Lamech listened to him in this matter, and they returned to him with the advice of their father Adam, but they bore no children to him from that time, knowing that God's anger was increasing in those days against the sons of men, to
destroy them with the waters of the flood for their evil doings. .......
We read verse 29 that it is יהוה decision for Cain to dye this way on behalf of what he did to his brother Abel. We can learn that punishment surely comes even if not in the same time as man sin. Unfortunately many people today boast themselves because they don’t fear sin and keep going in their own wicked ways until suddenly punishment strike them!
Psa 92:7  When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

Verse 4:24: if Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
Seven is the number for divine perfection on earth; we have seen that Cain was judge by יהוה using Lamech. .....
Avenged: Strong’s # H5358 נקם nâqam naw-kam' A primitive root; to grudge, that is, avenge or punish: - avenge (-r, self), punish, revenge (self), X surely, take vengeance.  Using the word punish we get a better understanding. Who was Lamech?....
Gen 5:28 and Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son: Gen 5:29 and he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which YHWH hath cursed.  Lamech was the father of Noach. It seems strange to read that Lamech shall be avenged seventy and sevenfold! Barnes in his commentary gives us following information:
The line of Cain is traced no further than the seventh generation from Adam. We cannot tell whether there were any more in that line before the flood. The design of tracing it thus far, is to point out the origin of the arts of life, and the first instances of bigamy and homicide in self-defense.
We know that the generation from Lamech didn’t stop after seven Generation but go through Shem Noach’s son, Eber Abraham, Itzakh, Ya’acov…..
Chapter 5: The generation of Adam (see chart at the end )
Gen 5:1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that Elohim created man, in the likeness of Elohim made he him; Gen 5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. Gen 5:3 and Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
Gen 5:4 and the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters: Gen 5:5 and all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
Gen 5:6 and Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos: Gen 5:7 and Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters: Gen 5:8 and all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died. Gen 5:9 and Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
Gen 5:10 and Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
Gen 5:11 and all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died. Gen 5:12 and Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel: Gen 5:13 and Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters: Gen 5:14 and all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died. Gen 5:15 and Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:

Chapter 6:
Gen 6:1 and it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, Gen 6:2 That the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. Gen 6:3 and YHWH said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.  Gen 6:4 There were giants (nephilim) in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of Elohim came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. Gen 6:5 and Elohim saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Gen 6:6 and it repented YHWH that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.  Gen 6:7 and YHWH said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.  Gen 6:8 but Noah found favour in the eyes of YHWH.
To conclude this parsha we come to the well known passage with the sons of Elohim and the giants (nephilim) who had intercourse with the daughters of men. Many things have been written concerning who are this sons of men and giants Let us look in the book of Yasher  if we can find some information:
Yasher chapter 3:
5. And Enoch rose up according to the word of YHWH, and went forth from his house,  from his place and from the chamber in which he was concealed; and he went to the  sons of men and taught them the ways of YHWH, and at that time assembled the sons of men and acquainted them with the instruction of YHWH.  6. And he ordered it to be proclaimed in all places where the sons of men dwelt, saying,  Where is the man who wishes to know the ways of YHWH and good works? let him come to Enoch.  7. And all the sons of men then assembled to him, for all who desired this thing went to Enoch, and Enoch reigned over the sons of men according to the word of YHWH, and they came and bowed to him and they heard his word.  8. And the spirit of God was upon Enoch, and he taught all his men the wisdom of God and his ways, and the sons of men served YHWH all the days of Enoch, and they came to hear his wisdom………………..14. And it was in the fifty-sixth year of the life of Lamech when Adam died; nine hundred and thirty years old was he at his death, and his two sons, with Enoch and Methuselah his son, buried him with great pomp, as at the burial of kings, in the cave which God
had told him. 15. And in that place all the sons of men made a great mourning and weeping on account of Adam; it has therefore become a custom among the sons of men to this day. 16. And Adam died because he ate of the tree of knowledge; he and his children after him, as YHWH God had spoken.
17. And it was in the year of Adam's death which was the two hundred and forty-third year of the reign of Enoch, in that time Enoch resolved to separate himself from the sons of men and to secret himself as at first in order to serve YHWH. 18. And Enoch did so, but did not entirely secret himself from them, but kept away from the sons of men three days and then went to them for one day
Chapter 3: -- And when Enoch had ascended into heaven, all the kings of the earth rose and took Methuselah his son and anointed him, and they caused him to reign over them in the place of his father. 3. And, as his father Enoch had taught him, and he likewise during the whole of Methuselah acted uprightly in the sight of God his life taught the sons of men wisdom, knowledge and the fear of God, and he did not turn from the good way either to the right or to the left. 4. But in the latter days of Methuselah, the sons of men turned from YHWH, they corrupted the earth, they robbed and plundered each other, and they rebelled against God and they transgressed, and they corrupted their ways, and would not hearken to the voice of Methuselah, but rebelled against him. 5. And YHWH was exceedingly wroth against them, and YHWH continued to destroy the seed in those days, so that there was neither sowing nor reaping in the earth. 6. For when they sowed the ground in order that they might obtain food for their support, behold, thorns and thistles were produced which they did not sow. 7. And still the sons of men did not turn from their evil ways, and their hands were still extended to do evil in the sight of God, and they provoked YHWH with their evil ways,
and YHWH was very wroth, and repented that he had made man. 8. And he thought to destroy and annihilate them and he did so. 9. In those days when Lamech the son of Methuselah was one hundred and sixty years old,
Seth the son of Adam died………………………………..
16. And all the sons of men departed from the ways of YHWH in those days as they multiplied upon the face of the earth with sons and daughters, and they taught one another their evil practices and they continued sinning against YHWH. 17. And every man made unto himself a god, and they robbed and plundered every man his neighbor as well as his relative, and they corrupted the earth, and the earth was filled with violence. 18. And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their wives by force from their husbands according to their choice, and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke YHWH; and God saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon earth, all men and all animals 19. And YHWH said, I will blot out man that I created from the face of the earth, yea from man to the birds of the air, together with cattle and beasts that are in the field for I repent that I made them.
20. And all men who walked in the ways of YHWH, died in those days, before YHWH brought the evil upon man which he had declared, for this was from YHWH, that they should not see the evil which YHWH spoke of concerning the sons of men. Here we see that Yasher call the sons of Elohim, “sons of men”! Verse 18 Yasher speaks of the judges and rulers who went to the daughters of men we can see the similarity with the text of the Torah, but let us look more details:
Barnes gives us following explanation: They are called the” sons of God”, because they have his spirit or disposition. The sons of God mentioned in Job_38:7, are an order of rational beings existing before the creation of man, and joining in the symphony of the universe, when the earth and all things were called into being. The sons of God, therefore, are those who are on YHWH side, who approach him with duly significant offerings, who call upon him by his proper name, and who walk with God in their daily conversation. The figurative use of the word “son” to denote a variety of relations incidental, and moral as well as natural, was not unfamiliar to the early speaker. Barnes make a difference between the “sons of God” named in the chapter 6 and the sons of God mentioned in the book of Yob (Job). Indeed if we look at the details from the sons of God in Noach’s time they cannot be angels because these beings cannot have intercourse with women!
Mat 22:30 for in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of Elohim in heaven.
We also read Yasher calling the giants (nephilim) “Judges”!
Nephilim: Strong’s H5303 נפל    נפיל nephı̂yl  nephil nef-eel', nef-eel' From H5307; properly, a feller, that is, a bully or tyrant: - giant.
H5307 nâphal naw-fal'  A primitive root; to fall, in a great variety of applications (intransitively or causatively, literally or figuratively): - be accepted, cast (down, self, [lots], out), cease, die, divide (by lot), (let) fail, (cause to, let, make, ready to) fall (away, down, -en, -ing), fell (-ing), fugitive, have [inheritamce], inferior, be judged [by mistake for H6419], lay (along), (cause to) lie down, light (down), be (X hast) lost, lying, overthrow, overwhelm, perish, present (-ed, -ing), (make to) rot, slay, smite out, X surely, throw down.
Now we can read the verse again with more accuracy, to remove fantasy and fancy explanation like many would have explain. The nephilim were extra-terrestrial beings and some of these fancy people expect them to be back in our days!
Renown: Strong’s # H8034 שׁם shêm shame  A primitive word (perhaps rather from H7760 through the idea of definite and conspicuous position; compare H8064); an appellation, as a mark or memorial of individuality; by implication honor, authority, character: -  + base, [in-] fame [-ous], name (-d), renown, report.  So let us look at the verse in a new perspective without removing its original meaning:  Gen 6:2 That the sons of men saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
Gen 6:4 There were tyrans  in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of men came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of authorityGen 6:5 and Elohim saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. .............
Now we see that the verse 5 concords with the verses 2 and 4 “Elohim saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earh…..”.The word “giants” as “nephilim” appears only two times in the Torah, the second time is:
-- Num 13:33 and there we saw the giants (nephilim), the sons of Anak, which come of the giants (nephilim): and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
Here again, the giants were the sons of Anak a Canaanite, so that those giants were tyrans or violent men.. It is true that they were of great stature;
Deu 9:2 a people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest, and of whom thou hast heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak!......
Joshua 21: 11 And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which [city is] Hebron, in the hill [country] of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it. the city...: or, Kirjatharba
Bereshit 23 : 2 And Sarah died in Kirjath-arbah (city of Arbah); the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan: and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her.
Bereshist 35 : 27 And Jacob came unto Isaac his father unto Mamre, unto the city of Arbah, which is Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac sojourned.
We have seen that not always the stature which determines the use of the word nephilim the primary used is because of the wickedness and violence.
Clarke gives us following explanation: --- There we saw the giants - נפלים nephilim. It is evident that they had seen a robust, sturdy, warlike race of men, and of great stature; for the asserted fact is not denied by Joshua or Caleb. Tales of gigantic men are frequent in all countries, but they are generally of such as have lived in times very remote from those in which such tales are told. That there have been giants at different times, in various parts of the earth, there can be no doubt; but that there ever was a nation of men twelve and fourteen feet high, we cannot, should not believe. Goliath appears to have been at least nine feet high: this was very extraordinary. I knew three young men in my own neighbourhood, two of them brothers, each of whom was upwards of seven feet, the third was eight feet six inches, and these men were very well proportioned. Others I have seen of extraordinary stature, but they were generally disproportioned, especially in their limbs. These instances serve to prove the possibility of cases of this nature. The Anakim might appear to the Israelites as a very tall, robust nation; and in comparison of the latter it is very probable that they were so, as it is very likely that the growth of the Israelites had been greatly cramped with their long and severe servitude in Egypt. And this may in some measure account for their alarm. .............
We have seen in b’reshit /Genesis chapter 6 according to the book of Yasher, that the giants or nephilim were violent man or tyrans. There are no indication of their stature in this place and does not contradict the word used for the sons of Anak who were of great stature as well as violent men.
HAFTORAH

יהוה takes the prophet YeshaYahu to remind the descendants of Ya’acov who he is and that his promise is firm and doesn’t change. As we read we see that salvation is in יהוה for his people.  Isa 42:5 Thus said the Ěl, יהוה, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it, and spirit to those who walk on it: Isa 42:6 “I, יהוה, have called You in righteousness, and I take hold of Your hand and guard You, and give You for a covenant to a people, for a light to the gentiles, Isa 42:7 to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house. Isa 42:8 “I am יהוה, that is My Name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols. Isa 42:9 “See, the former predictions have come, and new ones I am declaring; before they spring forth I let you hear them.” Isa 42:10 Sing to יהוה a new song; His praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you coastlands and you inhabitants of them!  Isa 42:11 Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice, the villages where Qĕḏar dwells. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.  Isa 42:12 Let them give esteem to יהוה, and declare His praise in the coastlands.
Isa 42:13 יהוה goes forth like a mighty man. He stirs up ardour like a fighter. He cries out, yea, shout aloud. Over His enemies He shows Himself mighty.  Isa 42:14 “I have kept silent from of old, I have been still and held Myself back. Like a woman in labour I now cry out, I pant and gasp at once.  Isa 42:15 “I lay waste mountains and hills, and I dry up all their plants. And I shall make rivers become coastlands, and I dry up pools. Isa 42:16 “And I shall lead the blind by a way they have not known – in paths they have not known I lead them. I make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These matters I shall do for them, and I shall not forsake them. Isa 42:17 “Those who trust in idols, who say to the moulded images, ‘You are our mighty ones,’ shall be turned back, utterly ashamed. Isa 42:18 “Hear, you deaf! And look, you blind, and see. Isa 42:19 “Who is blind but My servant, or deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is at peace, and blind as servant of יהוה? Isa 42:20 “You see much, but do not observe; ears are open, but do not hear.” Isa 42:21 It has delighted יהוה, for the sake of His righteousness, to make the Torah great and esteemed. Isa 42:22 But this is a people robbed and plundered, all of them are snared in holes, and they are hidden in prison houses. They have become a prey, with no one to deliver – for plunder, and no one to say, “Restore!” Isa 42:23 Who among you gives ear to this, pays attention and hears for the time to come? Isa 42:24 Who gave Yaʽaqoḇ for plunder, and Yisra’ĕl to the robbers? Was it not יהוה, He against whom we sinned? For they would not walk in His ways, and they did not obey His Torah!
Isa 42:25 So He has poured on him His burning displeasure and the strength of battle, and it set him on fire all around, yet he did not understand. And it burned against him, yet he did not take it to heart! Isa 43:1  But now, thus said יהוה, your Creator, O Yaʽaqoḇ, and He who formed you, O Yisra’ĕl, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name, you are Mine. Isa 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I am with you; and through rivers, they do not overflow you. When you walk through fire, you are not scorched, and a flame does not burn you. Isa 43:3 “For I am יהוה your Elohim, the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl, your Saviour; I gave Mitsrayim for your ransom, Kush and Seḇa in your place. Isa 43:4 “Since you were precious in My eyes, you have been esteemed, and I have loved you. And I give men in your place, and peoples for your life. Isa 43:5 “Do not fear, for I am with you. I shall bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west. Isa 43:6 “I shall say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth – Isa 43:7 all those who are called by My Name, whom I have created, formed, even made for My esteem.” Isa 43:8 He shall bring out a blind people who have eyes, and deaf ones who have ears. Isa 43:9 All the nations shall be assembled, and the peoples be gathered. Who among them declares this, and show us former events? Let them give their witnesses, to be declared right; or let them hear and say, “It is truth.”Isa 43:10 “You are My witnesses,” declares יהוה, “And My servant whom I have chosen, so that you know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no Ěl formed, nor after Me there is none.  Isa 43:11 “I, I am יהוה, and besides Me there is no saviour. 1Sa 20:18 So Yehonathan said to him, “Tomorrow is the New Moon, and you shall be missed, because your seat shall be empty. 1Sa 20:19 “And on the third day, go down quickly and you shall come to the place where you hid on the day of the deed, and shall remain by the stone Ětsel. 1Sa 20:20 “And let me shoot three arrows to the side of it as though shooting at a target, 1Sa 20:21 and see, I shall send the youth, saying, ‘Go, find the arrows.’ If I expressly say to the youth, ‘Look, the arrows are on this side of you, get them and come,’ then, as יהוה lives, there is safety for you and no concern. 1Sa 20:22 “But if I say thus to the youth, ‘Look, the arrows are beyond you,’ go your way, for יהוה has sent you away.
1Sa 20:23 “And as for the word which you and I have spoken of, see, יהוה is between you and me forever.”
1Sa 20:24 And Dawiḏ hid in the field. And when the New Moon came, the sovereign sat down by the food to eat.
1Sa 20:25 And the sovereign sat on his seat, as at other times, on a seat by the wall, with Yehonathan standing, and Aḇnĕr sitting by Sha’ul’s side, but the place of Dawiḏ was empty. 1Sa 20:26 But Sha’ul spoke not a word that day, for he thought, “It is an accident; he is not clean, for he has not been cleansed.”
1Sa 20:27 And it came to be the next day, the second day of the month, that Dawiḏ’s place was empty. And Sha’ul said to Yehonathan his son, “Why has the son of Yishai not come to eat, either yesterday or today?”
1Sa 20:28 and Yehonathan answered Sha’ul, “Dawiḏ earnestly asked my permission to go to Bĕyth Leḥem.
1Sa 20:29 “And he said, ‘Please let me go, for our clan has a slaughtering in the city, and my brother has commanded me to be there. And now, if I have found favour in your eyes, please let me get away and see my brothers.’ That is why he has not come to the sovereign’s table.” 1Sa 20:30 Then the displeasure of Sha’ul burned against Yehonathan, and he said to him, “You son of a perverse, rebellious woman! Do I not know that you have chosen the son of Yishai to your own shame and to the shame of your mother’s nakedness?
1Sa 20:31 “For as long as the son of Yishai lives on the earth, you shall not be established, you and your reign. And now, send and bring him to me, for he is a son of death.” 1Sa 20:32 And Yehonathan answered Sha’ul his father, and said to him, “Why should he be put to death? What has he done?”1Sa 20:33 At that, Sha’ul hurled a spear at him to smite him. Then Yehonathan knew that his father had resolved to put Dawiḏ to death. 1Sa 20:34 And Yehonathan rose up from the table in the heat of displeasure, and ate no food the second day of the month, for he was grieved for Dawiḏ, because his father put him to shame.
1Sa 20:35 And it came to be, in the morning, that Yehonathan went out into the field at the time appointed with Dawiḏ, and a small youth was with him. 1Sa 20:36 And he said to the youth, “Now run, find the arrows which I shoot.” As the youth ran, he shot an arrow beyond him. 1Sa 20:37 And when the youth came to the place where the arrow was which Yehonathan had shot, Yehonathan called out after the youth and said, “Is not the arrow beyond you?” 1Sa 20:38 And Yehonathan shouted after the youth, “Make haste, hurry, do not stand still!” And Yehonathan’s youth picked up the arrows and came to his master. 1Sa 20:39 But the youth knew not a speck. Only Yehonathan and Dawiḏ knew of the matter. 1Sa 20:40 Then Yehonathan gave his weapons to the youth and said to him, “Go, take them to the city.”  1Sa 20:41 And as soon as the youth had gone, Dawiḏ rose up from the south side, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed down three times. And they kissed one another. And they wept together, but Dawiḏ more so. 1Sa 20:42 And Yehonathan said to Dawiḏ, “Go in peace, since we have both sworn in the Name of יהוה, saying, ‘יהוה is between you and me, and between your seed and my seed, forever.’ ” Then he arose and left, and Yehonathan went into the city.
The book of Yochanan has been always interpreted by Christians and Roman Catholics outside the Torah context and therefore many heresies have been taugt to people. In his translation; Tendale writes: “it was in the beginning with Elohim “3 “and all came to be through it and without it ……..Tendale was translating from the Greek text and not from the Vulgate. He lost his life because he use the word Assembly instead of using “church” in his bible. The Torah does not teach about somebody living on the side of Elohim as Christians want to have. יהושע was born by the will of Elohim. He had to come has it is written in the book of B’reshit, on the fourth day, heralded by the prophet Malachi who by divine inspiration wroth by the Ruach HaQodesh that he will come as the “Sun of righteousness”(Mala.4:2).  People of this time were under Romans oppression and had hope that a king like King David would come to deliver them from the oppressors. Unfortunately our prison is build from our sin (rejection of the Torah). This I why his own didn’t received him, they didn’t understood that their own sin was their bondage. Self-righteousness is a snare for many.
Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.  Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning with Elohim.
Joh 1:3 All came to be through Him,1 and without Him not even one came to be that came to be. Footnote: 1Eph. 3:9, Col. 1:16, Heb. 1:2, Heb. 11:3, 2 Peter 3:5, Ps. 33:6.  Joh 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.   Joh 1:5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Joh 1:6 There was a man sent from Elohim, whose name was Yoḥanan.   Joh 1:7 This one came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all might believe through him. Joh 1:8 He was not that Light, but that he might bear witness of that Light.   Joh 1:9 He was the true Light, which enlightens every man, coming into the world. Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world came to be through Him, and the world did not know Him.  Joh 1:11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. Joh 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing in His Name,
Joh 1:13 who were born, not of blood nor of the desire of flesh nor of the desire of man, but of Elohim. Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh and pitched His tent1 among us, and we saw His esteem, esteem as of an only brought-forth of a father, complete in favour and truth. Footnote: 1An indication that His birth was during the Festival of Booths.
