26 PARASHA SHEMINI -EIGHTH

26 Parsha  Shmni – Eighth -
Vayyiqrah 9:1-11:47
2nd Shmu’el 6:1 – 7:17, Acts 5:1-11, 10:9-22, 34-35
Daniel ben Ya’acov Israel

Today’s “parsha” “sh’myny” meaning “eighth” will bring us to another level of understanding. Once again we will scrutinize the Torah in order to see what our heavenly Father has hidden for those who seek Him.
We left the last “parasha” with these words of Moshe:
Lev 8:33 “And do not go outside the door of the Tent of Meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are completed – for he fills your hands for seven days.
The Tent of meeting is the “ohel” in Hebrew, the tent. We know that this place is a microcosm of Messiah and the assembly. It is also a microcosm of the Kingdom of Elohim and a picture of the coming Temple which will be built under King Sh’lomo. To enter it there were conditions, the first place, the outer court behind the first entrance was accessible to the Children of Israel in order to bring their offering and sacrifices to the priests. The second entrance, the door entrance to the Set apart place was only accessible to the Priest and the High Priest.  The Third entrance was the veil to enter the Most Set apart place and was only accessible to the High Priest once a year.  The seven days represent the time period from creation including the Shabbat Millennium under Messiah יהושע as King of Kings.  Moshe has prepared Aharon and his sons for the Tent service. Now they will finish the preparation before יהוה’s presence appears!  I don’t know if you have realized all this sacrifice which were brought day after days and all the preparation for the “kohen”, the priest in order to be accepted before יהוה. Can you imagine how it worked in the carnal nature of our forefathers?
shmîynîy”, the number for, “eight” signalize something behind the natural. Seven been the number for divine perfection on earth; eight is behind the natural, behind man’s ability.  All these sins offering (unintentional sin/ chatta’ah) sin for offense and (burnt offering (Olah) or offering going up because it was burned had to be perfect or without blemish
The Hebrew word for perfect or without blemish is the word:
Strong’s #H8549 תּמים Tamyim From H8552entire (literally, figuratively or morally); also (as noun) integritytruth: - without blemish, complete, fullperfectsincerely (-ity), sound, without spot, undefiled, upright (-ly), whole.
But let us compare with what יהושע says:
Mat 5:48 “Therefore, be perfect,1 as your Father in the heavens is perfect. Footnote: 1Ex. 17:1, Ps. 119:1, 1 John 2:5, Heb. 6:1....................
The Greek word used here is:
Strong’s#G5046 teleios tel'-i-os From G5056complete (in various applications of labor, growth, mental and moral character, etc.); neuter (as noun, with G3588completeness: - of full age, man, perfect.
And what does יהוה told Abram:
Gen 17:1 and it came to be when Aḇram was ninety-nine years old, that יהוה appeared to Aḇram and said to him, “I am Ěl Shaddai – walk before Me and be perfect1. Footnote: 1Messiah gives the same command in Mt. 5:48…………………..
The Hebrew word used, speaking to Abram was the same as used concerning Aharon and his sons: “Tamiym”  Can you see that there is no change between Moshe’s teaching and יהושע’s teaching?  יהושע brought us back to Abraham’s faith.:
Gal 3:6 Even so Aḇraham “did believe Elohim, and it was reckoned unto him as righteousness.” Gal 3:7 Know, then, that those who are of belief are sons of Aḇraham.

The “eighth day” is pointing to the time after the seventh day, the Shabbat rest or after the reign of Messiah יהושע during the Millennium.  Remember that the Tabernacle is a microcosm of יהוה’s Kingdom outside the world system, a Kingdom which can only been approached through faith in the blood of Messiah יהושע.  Speaking of the Kingdom, Yehoshua say (King James version):
Joh 18:36 יהושע G2424 answered,G611 MyG1699 kingdomG932 isG2076 notG3756 ofG1537 thisG5127 world:G2889 ifG1487 myG1699 kingdomG932 wereG2258 ofG1537 thisG5127 world,G2889 then would myG1699 servantsG5257 fight,G75 G302 thatG2443 I should notG3361 be deliveredG3860 to theG3588 Jews:G2453 butG1161 nowG3568 isG2076 myG1699 kingdomG932 notG3756 from hence.G1782
“My Kingdom is not of this world”!
The scriptures 98 give the verse so:
Joh 18:36 יהושע answered, “My reign is not of this world. If My reign were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Yehuḏim. But now My reign is not from here.”
Christians have said that יהושע was saying that his Kingdom was in heaven and so Christians were to go to heaven at the resurrection! My Kingdom (reign) means rule and power authority, as it was under King David.
Unfortunately it is not what יהושע was saying, because we know that יהוה’s people will reign on earth (Rev. 5:10, 20:4, Acts 3:21) and:
Act 1:6 When theyG3588(G3303) thereforeG3767 were come together,G4905 they askedG1905 of him,G846 saying,G3004 Master,G2962 wilt thou(G1487) atG1722 thisG5129 timeG5550 restore againG600 theG3588 kingdomG932 to Israel?G2474 ................
Today who are priest and kings in יהושע’s kingdom, are you not those called to rule with Him?  Was יהושע as descendant of King David legitimate to be proclaimed King in Israel when he came in the fourth day? Of course Yes he was.  Was he proclaimed? Of course No! And so are we. We will be with him when He will return, and reign with Him at this time when all things will be restored (Acts 3:21)
Why all this details? In order to understand what the Torah was doing in the life of our carnal forefathers, the Children of Israel........
The Epistle of Barnabas. Translation from Charles H. Hoole’s 1885 translation and from Kirsopp Lake’s translation of 1912.
The Epistle is corrupted in many points through many documents which are copy from copy and was for sure not according to the original. We can have proof by testing against the Torah, nevertheless it is a interesting document which in many points help our understanding.
According to our understanding today I will replace the words for “Lord”, “Jesus” and other words from pagan origins and add some helps in brackets () We can read following:  The Temple
1 I (Barnabas) will also speak with you concerning the Temple, and show how the wretched men erred by putting their hope on the building,(that is the Temple) and not on the God who made them, and is the true house of God. 2 For they consecrated him in the Temple almost like the heathen (pagans). But learn how YHWH speaks, in bringing it to nonexistence, “Who has measured the heaven with a span, or the earth with his outstretched hand? Have not I? Says YHWH. Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool, what house will you build for me, or what is the place of my rest?” You know that their hope was vain.  3 Furthermore he says again, “They who destroyed this temple shall themselves build it.”  4 That is happening now. For owing to the war it was destroyed by the enemy; at present even the servants of the enemy (that is HaSatan) will build it up again.  5 Again, it was revealed that the city and the temple and the people of Israel were to be delivered up. For the Scripture says, “And it shall come to pass in the last days that YHWH shall deliver the sheep of his pasture, and the sheep-fold, and their tower to destruction.” And it took place (this happened in the year 70 when Vespasian took Yerushalayim and destroyed the Temple) according to what YHWH said.  6 But let us inquire if a temple of God exists. Yes, it exists, where he himself said that he makes and perfects it. For it is written, “And it shall come to pass when the week (that is seven days, seven years) is ended that a temple of God shall be built gloriously in the name of YHWH.”  7 I (Barnabas) find then that a temple exists. Learn then how it will be built in the name of YHWH. Before we believed in God, the habitation of our heart was corrupt and weak, like a temple really built with hands, because it was full of idolatry, and was the house of demons through doing things which were contrary to God.  8 “But it shall be built in the name of YHWH.” Now pay attention, in order that the temple of YHWH may be built gloriously. Learn in what wayWhen we received the remission of sins, and put our hope on the Name (that is the Name of Yehoshua), we became new, being created again from the beginning*; for this reason God truly dwells in us, in the habitation which we are.  Barnabas was the follower of Sha’ul (Paul). Proof is not given if Barnabas who wrote this Epistle was the one Luke is speaking of (Acts 9:25, 11:22, 25, 30, 12:25…).  * we became new, being (regenerated) created again from the beginning”
What does Sha’ul says?
2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in the Messiah, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behol, all things are become new. ……
What is the meaning? When we become a new creature, the old carnal nature following the flesh is destroyed to let place of the spiritual man who desire to follow the Ruach HaQodesh in the Torah,”created again from the beginning (b’reshit) ,an image of Adam before the fall!
All the offerings and sacrifices are the works done for us by Yehoshua to make us acceptable unto יהוה Elohim, as “Priest” and “Kings”:
1Pe 2:5 you also, as living stones, are being built up, a spiritual house, a set-apart priesthood, to offer up spiritual slaughter offerings acceptable to Elohim through יהושע Messiah.

We go back to our “parasha”:
Vayyiqra 9:4 for today יהוה shall appear to you.’
יהוה shall appear to you! This is the statement Moshe did to Aharon and his sons concerning “ Sh’myny”, the “Eighth” day!   The eighth day, the day after the Shabbat day: Do you remember the “great last day” during the Feast of Succoth, the feast of the “ingathering”?
Lev 23:33 and יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,
Lev 23:34 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Festival of Booths for seven days to יהוה.
Lev 23:35 ‘On the first day is a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.
Lev 23:36 ‘For seven days you bring an offering made by fire to יהוהOn the eighth day there shall be a set-apart gathering for you, and you shall bring an offering made by fire to יהוהIt is a closing festivalyou do no servile work. ………………
This last day of the Succoth is a picture of what is to come at the end of the Shabbat Millennium, the Eighth day when we all shall behold יהוה with our eyes, just read!
Rev 21:1 and I saw a renewed heaven and a renewed earth, for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. Rev 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from the heaven saying, “See, the Booth of Elohim is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and Elohim Himself shall be with them and be their ElohimRev 21:23 and the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it, for the esteem of Elohim lightened it, and the Lamb is its lamp.  Rev 22:3 and no longer shall there be any curse, and the throne of Elohim (1) and of the Lamb(2) shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
Rev 22:4 and they(that is the Saints, the Set apart Ones) shall see His face(That is Yehovah), and His Name shall be upon their foreheads. Rev 22:5 and night shall be no more, and they shall have no need of a lamp or the light of the sun, because יהוה Elohim shall give them light (Torah: Psalm 119:105, Proverbs 6:23). And they shall reign forever and ever.
Psa 119:105  NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Pro 6:23  For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

Can you see the fulfilment of Moshe’s words?
Remember:
Heb 10:1 for the Torah, having a shadow of the good matters to come, and not the image itself of the matters……..
Vayyiqra 19:18………Aharon’s sons presented to him the blood, which he sprinkled on the altar all around;
That is the blood of יהושע for us, the altar all around which are the four corners of the earth, where יהוה’s people have been scattered.
Rom 3:25 whom Elohim set forth as an atonement, through belief in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His tolerance Elohim had passed over the sins that had taken place before, Rom 5:9 Much more then, having now been declared right by His bloodwe shall be saved from wrath through Him
Eph 1:7 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of trespasses, according to the riches of His favour,
Col 1:20 and through Him to completely restore to favour all unto Himself, whether on earth or in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of His stake.
Heb 9:6 and these having been prepared like this, the priests always went into the first part of the Tent, accomplishing the services. Heb 9:7 But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for sins of ignorance of the people
Heb 9:22 and, according to the Torah, almost all is cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness;
Rev 1:5 and from יהושע Messiah, the trustworthy witness, the first-born from the dead, and the ruler of the sovereigns (kings) of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
Lev 9:19 and the fat from the bull and the ramhe fat tail, and the covering, and the kidneys, and the appendage on the liver……………….
The Fat “cheleb », Strong describe as “the richest or choice part”.
Today people like to eat meat with “fat”, I have seen in Germany, but also in the Philippines people getting “crazy” for meat with fat. In Germany when you go to some feasts i.e. the feast of the beer in Munich during the “October feast”, people like to eat grilled fat pork “axle “.  יהוה says that we should not eat fat. Fat was used to be burned during the sacrifices. The burning of fat is a sweet aroma. Christians have lost connection to reality and enjoy almost all what is forbidden in the Torah! Do you still believe “Jesus” came to abolish the Torah?
Fat is assimilated in the body and blood vessel and cannot be eliminate, they are the source of many sicknesses like heart attack and stroke, cerebral-vascular accident...............
Vayyiqra 9:23……… And the esteem (glory) of יהוה appeared to all the peopleWe can compare with what Yochanan write:
Rev 22:4 and they shall see His face,
The Children of Israel saw the Esteem, the glory of יהוה, but not the physical presence for no man has ever seen Elohim (Yochan. 1:18, 5:37, 6:46, 1st Timot.6:16).
We shall see His face can you anticipate this time and imagine how awesome this moment will be, to see our heavenly Father face to face?..............................
Lev 9:1 and on the eighth day it came to be that Mosheh called Aharon and his sons and the elders of Yisra’ĕl. Lev 9:2 And he said to Aharon, “Take for yourself a young bull as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering, a perfect one, and bring them before יהוהLev 9:3 “And speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘Take a male goat as a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, perfect ones, as a burnt offeringLev 9:4 and a bull and a ram as peace offerings, to slaughter before יהוה, and a grain offering mixed with oil. For today יהוה shall appear to you.’ ” Lev 9:5 And they took what Mosheh commanded before the Tent of Meeting, and all the congregation drew near and stood before יהוה.
Lev 9:6 And Mosheh said, “This is the word which יהוה commanded you to do, so that the esteem of יהוה appears to you.” Lev 9:7 And Mosheh said to Aharon, “Go to the altar, and prepare your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself and for the people. And make the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as יהוה has commanded.” Lev 9:8 So Aharon came near to the altar and slaughtered the calf of the sin offering, which was for himselfLev 9:9 And the sons of Aharon brought the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured the blood at the base of the altar. Lev 9:10 And the fat, and the kidneys, and the appendage on the liver of the sin offering he burned on the altar, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh. Lev 9:11 And the flesh and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp.
Lev 9:12 And he slaughtered the burnt offering, and the sons of Aharon presented to him the blood, which he sprinkled on the altar all around. Lev 9:13 And they presented the burnt offering to him, with its pieces and head, and he burned them on the altar. Lev 9:14 And he washed the entrails and the legs, and burned them with the burnt offering on the altar. Lev 9:15 And he brought the people’s offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and slaughtered it and made it a sin offering, like the first one.
Lev 9:16 And he brought the burnt offering and made it, according to the right-ruling. Lev 9:17 He also brought the grain offering, and filled his hand with it, and burned it on the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning. Lev 9:18 And he slaughtered the bull and the ram as peace offerings, which were for the people. And Aharon’s sons presented to him the blood, which he sprinkled on the altar all around,
Lev 9:19 and the fat from the bull and the ramhe fat tail, and the covering, and the kidneys, and the appendage on the liverLev 9:20 and they placed the fat on the breasts, and he burned the fat on the altar.
Lev 9:21 But the breasts and the right thigh Aharon waved as a wave offering before יהוה, as Mosheh had commanded. Lev 9:22 Aharon then lifted up his hand toward the people and blessed them, and came down from making the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings. Lev 9:23 And Mosheh and Aharon went into the Tent of Meeting, and came out and blessed the people. And the esteem of יהוה appeared to all the peopleLev 9:24 and fire came out from before יהוה and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. And all the people saw and cried aloud and fell on their faces.

Chapter 10:
10:1. and Nadab and Abihu the sons of Aharon, each took his fire holder and put fire in it, and put incense on it, and brought strange fire before יהוה, which he had not commanded them.
Keil and Deliztsch give us interesting explanation. Before we look deeper let us read:
Nadab and Abihu took their censers (machtah, Exo_25:38), and having put fire in them, placed incense thereon, and brought strange fire before Jehovah, which He had not commanded them. It is not very clear what the offence of which they were guilty actually was. The majority of expositors suppose the sin to have consisted in the fact, that they did not take the fire for the incense from the altar-fire. But this had not yet been commanded by God; and in fact it is never commanded at all, except with regard to the incense-offering, with which the high priest entered the most holy place on the day of atonement (Lev_16:12), though we may certainly infer from this, that it was also the rule for the daily incense-offering. By the fire which they offered before Jehovah, we are no doubt to understand the firing of the incense-offering. This might be called “strange fire” if it was not offered in the manner prescribed in the lawjust as in Exo_30:9 incense not prepared according to the direction of God is called “strange incense.” The supposition that they presented an incense-offering that was not commanded in the law, and apart from the time of the morning and evening sacrifice, and that this constituted their sin, is supported by the time at which their illegal act took place. It is perfectly obvious from Lev_10:12. and 16ff. that it occurred in the interval between the sacrificial transaction in ch. 9 and the sacrificial meal which followed it, and therefore upon the day of their inauguration. For in Lev_10:12 Moses commands Aaron and his remaining sons Eleazar and Ithamar to eat the meat-offering that was left from the firings of Jehovah, and inquires in Lev_10:16 for the goat of the sin-offering, which the priests were to have eaten in a holy place. Knobel's opinion is not an improbable one, therefore, that Nadab and Abihu intended to accompany the shouts of the people with an incense-offering to the praise and glory of God, and presented an incense-offering not only at an improper time, but not prepared from the altar-fire, and committed such a sin by this will-worship, that they were smitten by the fire which came forth from Jehovah, even before their entrance into the holy place, and so died “before Jehovah.” The expression “before Jehovah” is applied to the presence of God, both in the dwelling (viz., the holy place and the holy of holies, e.g., Lev_4:6-7Lev_16:13) and also in the court (e.g., Lev_1:5, etc.). It is in the latter sense that it is to be taken here, as is evident from Lev_10:4, where the persons slain are said to have lain “before the sanctuary of the dwelling,” i.e., in the court of the tabernacle. The fire of the holy God (Exo_19:18), which had just sanctified the service of Aaron as well-pleasing to God, brought destruction upon his two eldest sons, because they had not sanctified Jehovah in their hearts, but had taken upon themselves a self-willed service; just as the same gospel is to one a savour of life unto life, and to another a savour of death unto death (2Co_2:16). - In Lev_10:3 Moses explains this judgment to Aaron: “This is it that Jehovah spake, saying, I will sanctify Myself in him that is nigh to Me, and will glorify Myself in the face of all the people. But these words of Moses are no “reproof to Aaron, who had not restrained the untimely zeal of his sons” (Knobel), nor a reproach which made Aaron responsible for the conduct of his sons, but a simple explanation of the judgment of God, which should be taken to heart by every one, and involved an admonition to all who heard it, not to Aaron only but to the whole nation, to sanctify God continually in the proper way. Moreover Jehovah had not communicated to Moses by revelation the words which he spoke here, but had made the fact known by the position assigned to Aaron and his sons through their election to the priesthood. By this act Jehovah had brought them near to Himself (Num_16:5), made them קְרֹבַי = לַיהֹוָה קְרֹבִים “persons standing near to Jehovah” (Eze_42:13Eze_43:19), and sanctified them to Himself by anointing (Lev_8:10Lev_8:12Exo_29:1Exo_29:44Exo_40:13Exo_40:15), that they might sanctify Him in their office and life. If they neglected this sanctification, He sanctified Himself in them by a penal judgment (Eze_38:16), and thereby glorified Himself as the Holy One, who is not to be mocked. “And Aaron held his peace.” He was obliged to acknowledge the righteousness of the holy God.
The connection between Parasha and Hatorah today:
Lev 10:1 and Naḏaḇ and Aḇihu, the sons of Aharon, each took his fire holder and put fire in it, and put incense on it, and brought strange fire before יהוה, which He had not commanded them.  Lev 10:2 and fire came out from יהוה and consumed them, and they died before יהוה.  2Sa 6:6 and when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of Elohim, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.
2Sa 6:7 and the anger of YHWH was kindled against Uzzah; and Elohim smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of Elohim. Act 5:1 but a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,  Act 5:2 and kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.  Act 5:3 but Kepha said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back part of the price of the land?  Act 5:4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto YHWH.  Act 5:5 and Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the spirit: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
Can you see the pattern in these three events? Elohim is the same yesterday today and forever!
Today (2012 reading) I saw another thing I want to share with those who will read:
The names Nadab and Abihu:
H5070 נָדָב Nadab (naw-dawb') n/p. 1. liberal
H5068 נָדַב nadab (naw-dab') v.
1. to impel
2. (hence) to volunteer (as a soldier), to present spontaneously
Abihu H30 אֲבִיהוּא 'Abiyhuw' (ab-ee-hoo') n/p.
1. father (i.e. worshipper) of Him (i.e. God)
2. Abihu, a son of Aaron
What i find amazing is that the two children of Aaron were Priest and brought strange things. When reading the book of Malachi we see Yehowah complains against the Priest:
Mal 1:6  A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith Yehowah of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?
Mal 1:7  Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of Yehowah is contemptible.
Mal 1:8  And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith Yehowah of hosts.........
2:1  “And now, O priests, this command is for you.
Mal 2:2  “If you do not hear, and if you do not take it to heart, to give esteem to My Name,” said יהוה of hosts, “I shall send a curse upon you, and I shall curse your blessings. And indeed, I have cursed them, because you do not take it to heart.
Mal 2:3  “See, I shall rebuke your seed, and scatter dung before your faces, the dung of your festivals. And you shall be taken away with it.
Mal 2:4  “And you shall know that I have sent this command to you, as being My covenant with Lĕwi,” said יהוה of hosts.
Mal 2:5  “My covenant with him was life and peace, and I gave them to him, to fear. And he feared Me, and stood in awe of My Name.
Mal 2:6  “The Torah of truth1 was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found on his lips. He walked with Me in peace and straightness, and turned many away from crookedness. Footnote: 1Neh. 9:13.
Mal 2:7  “For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and they seek the Torah from his mouth, for he is the messenger of יהוה of hosts.
Mal 2:8  “But you, you have turned from the way, you have caused many to stumble in the Torah. You have corrupted the covenant of Lĕwi,” said יהוה of hosts.
Mal 2:9  “And I also, I shall make you despised and low before all the people, because you are not guarding My ways, and are showing partiality in the Torah.”
Mal 2:10  Have we not all one Father? Did not one Ěl create us? Why do we act treacherously against one another, to profane the covenant of the fathers?
Can you see what happen to Nadab and Abihu was a warning that there will be other coming after them who will bring strange fire into the Assembly of the Living Yehowah (false doctrines) which Yehowah never required.

Now having read this explanation from Keil and Delitzsch let us ask following question: How is it today with Christians worship and Sunday gathering, are they to sanctify the Name of the Qadosh One of Israel?
I guess you already know the answer. Of course Not! This is pagan tradition established by Constantine in the year 325 C.E.  How much more for us who have come to know the truth, if we derive from the truth, to go our own way, shortening the Shabbat time, or making Shabbat a half day gathering!  Another fact is to let leaven among the brethren refusing to remove it! Is this not a “strange fire” bringing offering which are not acceptable to our Elohim.  And how it is with somebody drunk in the congregation, do you think it is acceptable to sanctify ourselves before יהוה?  How is it I if somebody is living in adultery or fornication,  and it is known to the brethren, do you think יהוה will overlook it?
Gal 5:19 And the works of the flesh are well-known, which are these: adultery,1 whoring, uncleanness, indecency, Footnote: 1Only Textus Receptus contains adultery.
Gal 5:20 idolatry, drug sorcery, hatred, quarrels, jealousies, fits of rage, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions,
Gal 5:21 envy, murders, drunkenness, wild parties, and the like – of which I forewarn you, even as I also said before, that those who practise such as these shall not inherit the reign of Elohim.1 Footnote: 11 Cor. 6:10.
In today’s Haftorah we see people bringing “strange fire” and paying with their life. (Acts 5:1-9)
People today boast because no man dies when bringing “strange fire” in the congregation. They don’t realize that sin separate us from Elohim’s presence. יהוה is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. Where there is darkness there can’t be יהוה’s presence, and therefore those who bring “strange fire” are already dead spiritually!  What does it means to be dead spiritually?  Sha’ul wrote to the believers in Corinth:
1Th 5:19 Do not quench the Spirit. .......To “quench” is to extinguish or to let go out.
יהוה Ruach is in us to seal us until the day of redemption
Eph 4:30 and do not grieve the Set-apart Spirit of Elohim, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
King David wrote after having sinned with Bathsheba
Psa 51:11 CastH7993 me notH408 away from thy presence;H4480 H6440 and takeH3947 notH408 thy holyH6944 spiritH7307 fromH4480 me.
We see that it is possible that יהוה’s Ruach depart from somebody, because of sin. The only way to restore the relationship is through “t’shuvah”, repentance demonstrated by good works.  I am not here to judge anybody, but I am sad to see brethren ignorant of sin who indulge in such ways, not willing to remove those who by their sin pollute the congregation! At the time I am writing we are in the season of “Counting the Omer” (read explanation in the midrash “the One hundred Years”), the period between the Feast of Unleavened Bread and Shavuot. During forty nine days, we are to count, to search our heart and to improve ourselves in order to receive the refilling of the Ruach HaQodesh on Shavuot, making all efforts to present ourselves in a better way, than the year before. We all have take part in the feast of Unleavened Bread having for purpose to remove every spark of leaven (darkness, pride, sin, hypocrisy) from our life. The day will come, it will be no more possible to do anything and all those who today indulge in sin will pay the price.  King SH’lomo coming to the end of his writing in “Kohelet”“Ecclesiastes” writes:
Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the entire matter: Fear Elohim and guard His commandsfor this apply to all mankind!  Ecc 12:14 For Elohim shall bring every work into right-rulingincluding all that is hidden, whether good or whether evil.
He says: “Fear Elohim”!
Let him who has ear hear!
Vayyiqra 10:6. Do not unbind your heads nor tear your garments, lest you die, and wrath comes upon all the people. But let your brothers, all the house of Yisra’ĕl, bewail the burning which יהוה has kindled.
It was יהוה decision because of the “strange fire” brought by Nadab and Abihu
Nadab in Hebrew means: “Liberal”to volunteer (as a soldier), to present spontaneously: - offer freely.
Abihu means: Father (as worshipper) of him (That is Elohim)
Moshe called Misha’el and El’tsaphan.
Misha’el means: “who is what El is”
El’tsaphan means: “my El has protected”.
Do not unbind your heads………lest you die…….let your brothers, all the House of Israel bewail the burning which יהוה had kindled.
Bewail: Strong’s #H1058 בּכה Bakah, baw-kaw'
A primitive root; to weep; generally to bemoan: -  X at all, bewail, complain, make lamentation, X more, mourn, X sore, X with tears, weep.
Now the question, this fire brought destruction to Nadab and Abihu in order for יהוה to be sanctify among the children of Israel. Do you think this will come again in an even greater scale, soon?
Mal 2:8 “But you, you have turned from the way, you have caused many to stumble in the Torah. You have corrupted the covenant of Lĕwi,” said יהוה of hosts.  Mal 4:1 “For look, the day shall come, burning like a furnace, and all the proud, and every wrongdoer shall be stubble. And the day that shall come shall burn them up,” said יהוה of hosts, “which leaves to them neither root nor branch.  Mat 3:11 “I indeed immerse you in water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to bear. He shall immerse you in the Set-apart Spirit and fire.- (life trials).  Mat 3:12 “His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He shall thoroughly cleanse His threshing-floor, and gather His wheat (no barley) into the storehouse, but the chaff He shall burn with unquenchable fire.”  (chaff (tipasi in bisaya)-is of no use when the wheat is mature).  Rev 18:8 “Because of this her plagues shall come in one day: death and mourning and scarcity of food. And she shall be burned up with fire, because יהוה Elohim who judges her is mighty……………………
10:7-10. The Priest had responsibility to teach Torah to the children of Israel, they were called to be lucid in their mind and therefore couldn’t drink wine or strong drink and were not allowed to leave the Tent of meeting during their service.  Imagine today, we have been called into his glorious Kingdom and cannot go outside, unless we die! Can you see how this applies to us today? What does it means to go outside the Tent of Meeting for us today?
2Co 6:14 Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness? And what fellowship has light with darkness?  2Co 6:15 and what agreement has Messiah with Beliyaʽal? Or what part does a believer have with an unbeliever?
1Jn 2:15 Do not love the world nor that which is in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.1 Footnote: 1Jm. 4:4.
1Jn 2:16 because all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world.  1Jn 2:17 and the world passes away, and the lust of it, but the one doing the desire of Elohim remains forever.
In essence to go out of the tent of Meeting is to leave the congregation and go into the world (following pagans).
10:12-20............El’azar and Ithamar the other two sons from Aharon were to take the place from Nadab and Abihu.
El’azarEl is a helper (Eliezer in the book of Yochanan)
IthamarCost of the Palm tree. The Palm tree is a picture or righteousness (Psalm 92:12-14, Yochan.12:13).
The Levites were the only one chosen for the service in the Tent of meeting. El’azar and Ithamar had now the responsibility to fulfil the duty of their brethren with the same consequences in case of sin.
On verses 19 and 20, Keil and Delitzsch give following explanation:
Aaron excused his sons, however, by saying, “Behold, this day have they offered their sin-offering and their burnt-offering, and this has happened to me,” i.e., the calamity recorded in Lev_10:1. has befallen me (קָרָא = קָרָה, as in Gen_42:4); “and if I had eaten the sin-offering to-day, would it have been well-pleasing to Jehovah?” וגו וְאָכַלְתִּי is a conditional clause, as in Gen_33:13, cf. Ewald, §357. Moses rested satisfied with this answer. Aaron acknowledged that the flesh of the sin-offering ought to have been eaten by the priest in this instance (according to Lev_6:19), and simply adduced, as the reason why this had not been done, the calamity which had befallen his two eldest sons. And this might really be a sufficient reason, as regarded both himself and his remaining sons, why the eating of the sin-offering should be omitted. For the judgment in question was so solemn a warning, as to the sin which still adhered to them even after the presentation of their sin-offering, that they might properly feel “that they had not so strong and overpowering a holiness as was required for eating the general sin-offering” (M. Baumgarten). This is the correct view, though others find the reason in their grief at the death of their sons or brethren, which rendered it impossible to observe a joyous sacrificial meal. But this is not for a moment to be thought of, simply because the eating of the flesh of the sin-offering was not a joyous meal at all (see at Lev_6:19).

Lev 10:3 Then Mosheh said to Aharon, “This is what יהוה spoke, saying, ‘By those who come near Me let Me be set-apart! And before all the people let Me be esteemed!’ ” And Aharon was silent.  Lev 10:4 And Mosheh called to Misha’ĕl and to Eltsaphan, the sons of Uzzi’ĕl the uncle of Aharon, and said to them, “Come near, take your brothers from before the set-apart place out of the camp.”  Lev 10:5 So they came near and took them by their long shirts out of the camp, as Mosheh had said.  Lev 10:6 And Mosheh said to Aharon, and to Elʽazar and to Ithamar, his sons, “Do not unbind your heads nor tear your garments, lest you die, and wrath come upon all the people. But let your brothers, all the house of Yisra’ĕl, bewail the burning which יהוה has kindled. Lev 10:7 “And do not go out from the door of the Tent of Meeting, lest you die, for the anointing oil of יהוה is upon you.” And they did according to the word of Mosheh.  Lev 10:8 And יהוה spoke to Aharon, saying,  Lev 10:9 “Do not drink wine or strong drink, you, nor your sons with you, when you go into the Tent of Meeting, lest you die – a law forever throughout your generations,  Lev 10:10 so as to make a distinction between the set-apart and the profane, and between the unclean and the clean,  Lev 10:11 and to teach the children of Yisra’ĕl all the laws which יהוה has spoken to them by the hand of Mosheh.”  Lev 10:12 And Mosheh spoke to Aharon, and to Elʽazar and Ithamar, his sons who were left, “Take the grain offering that is left over from the offerings made by fire to יהוה, and eat it without leaven beside the altar, for it is most set-apart.  Lev 10:13 “And you shall eat it in a set-apart place, because it is yours by law and your sons’ by law, of the offerings made by fire to יהוה, for so I have been commanded.
Lev 10:14 “And the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution you eat in a clean place, you, and your sons, and your daughters with you. For they are yours by law and your sons’ by law, which are given from the slaughterings of peace offerings of the children of Yisra’ĕl.  Lev 10:15 “The thigh of the contribution and the breast of the wave offering they bring with the offerings of fat made by fire, to bring as a wave offering before יהוה. And it shall be yours and your sons’ with you, by a law forever, as יהוה has commanded.” Lev 10:16 And Mosheh diligently looked for the goat of the sin offering and saw it was burned up. And he was wroth with Elʽazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aharon who were left, saying,
Lev 10:17 “Why have you not eaten the sin offering in a set-apart place, since it is most set-apart, and Elohim has given it to you to bear the crookedness of the congregation, to make atonement for them before יהוה?
Lev 10:18 “See, its blood was not brought inside the set-apart place. You should have eaten it without fail in a set-apart place, as I have commanded.” Lev 10:19 And Aharon said to Mosheh, “See, today they have brought their sin offering and their burnt offering before יהוה, and matters like these have come to me! If I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been right in the eyes of יהוה?” Lev 10:20 And when Mosheh heard that, it was good in his eyes. ……………
Chapter 11.:  The Law of clean and unclean: This is a controversial interest in the world today as concerning what we can eat or not.
*               Muslims do not eat pork because it is an unclean animal. Do not forget the Arabs are descendants from Ishma’el and therefore knows about unclean and clean, at least they remember concerning the pork (teaching of the Koran), they don’t look for other animals been clean or not and eat like the unbelievers.
*               Christians boast that today believers can eat whatever they wish, because all is clean through “Jesus”, misinterpreting scriptures like (Acts 10:11-15) avoiding to read the all context, especially the verse 28, which explain that the unclean in the vision is not “meat” but people as we are going to see in the chapter 11 from vayyiqra.
In Hebrew thoughts, men were pictured as animals especially “dogs” as in the time of יהושע.
Mat 7:6 “Do not give what is set-apart to the dogs, nor throw your pearls before the pigs, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.
Mat 15:26 And He answering, said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”
Mat 15:27 but she said, “Yea Master, for even the little dogs1 eats the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” Footnote:1See Rev. 22:15.
We see here that the woman understood that Yehoshua was speaking to her with the name of “little dogs”.
Rev 22:15 “But outside are the dogs and those who enchant with drugs, and those who whore, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and all who love and do falsehood.1 Footnote: 1See 21:27, 2 Thess. 2:11.
Rev 21:27 And there shall by no means enter into it whatever is unclean, neither anyone doing abomination and falsehood,1 but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Footnote: 1See 22:15, and 2 Thess. 2:11.
Moshe gives the rule of “kosher” clean food according to what יהוה has reveals to him.
I will take some verses from the Gospel of Barnabas to bring more light in what is the belief since the time of Messiah (in brackets my explanations):
10:1. Now, in that Moses said, “You shall not eat swine, nor an eagle, nor a hawk, nor a crow, nor any fish which has no scales on itself,” he included three doctrines in his understanding.
He mentioned the swine for this reason: you shall not associate, he means, with men who are like swine*, that is to say, when they have plenty, they forget YHWH, but when they are in need, they recognize YHWH, just as the swine when it eats does not know its master, but when it is hungry it cries out, and after receiving food is again silent.
4 “Neither will you eat the eagle nor the hawk nor the buzzard nor the crow.” You must not, he means, join yourself or make yourself like that of such men, as do not know how to gain their food by their labour and sweat, but plunder other people’s property in their iniquity, and lay wait for it, though they seem to walk in innocence, and look around to see whom they may plunder in their covetousness, just as these birds alone provide no food for themselves, but sit idle, and seek how they may devour the flesh of others, and become pestilent in their iniquity.
5 “You must not eat,” he says, “The lamprey nor the polypus nor the cuttlefish.” You must not, he means, associate with or become like such men who are utterly ungodly and who are already condemned to death, just as these fish alone are accursed, and float in the deep water, not swimming like the others but living on the ground at the bottom of the sea.
6 In this manner, he says, You must not eat the hare* (rabbit), meaning you must not indulge in unnatural lusts;
7 nor will you eat the hyena*, meaning you must not be an adulterer;
8 nor will you eat the weasel (small carnivore), meaning you must not do uncleanness with your mouth concerning food;
9 Moses received three doctrines concerning food and spoke like this of them in the Spirit; but they received them as really referring to food, owing to the lust of their flesh.
10 But David received knowledge concerning the same three doctrines, and says: “Blessed is the
man who has not gone in the counsel of the ungodly” as the fish go in darkness in the deep waters, “and has not stood in the way of sinners” like those who seem to fear YHWH, but sin like the swine, “and has not sat in the seat of the scorners” like the birds who sit and wait for their prey. Fully grasp the doctrines concerning food.(Psalm 1)
11 Moses says again, “Eat of every animal that is cloven hoofed and chews the cud.” What does he mean? That he who receives food knows him who feeds him, and rests on him and seems to rejoice. He spoke well with regard to the commandment. What then does he mean? associate with those who fear YHWH, with those who meditate in their heart on the meaning of the word (that is chewing on the word like the cow on the grass) which they have received, with those who speak of and observe the commands of YHWH, with those who know that meditation (chewing the grass) is a work of gladness, and who ponder on the word of YHWH.
But what does “the cloven hoofed” mean? That the righteous both walk in this world; and looks forward to the holy age. See how well Moses legislated.
12 But how was it possible for them to understand or comprehend these things? But we, having a righteous understanding of them, announce the commandments as YHWH wished. For this cause, he circumcised our hearing and our hearts that we should comprehend these things.
*The swine eat everything and do not make any difference; he can devour all what he found in its mouth, vegetable rest, its own dejections, and even meat from other pigs dead or alive.
*The hare is a kind of rabbit. Rabbits are well known for their sexual appetites according to Barnabas it seems that the Hare and therefore some men have unnatural practice!
*The Hyena is a wild animal which has also a strange habit in its relation to female.
Do not think that these are the only reason for keeping from unclean food.
Today at the moment I write to you in the month of Yyar (Mai 2009), we have world wide a “pandemic Pork influenza”, which brings fear in all governments throughout the world, at any case of man sickness through “Pork influenza”.
In France in particular, people are used to eat almost anything they found and call it “delicacy”, snails, lobster, shells, rabbits, hare, ostrich to quote a few of them, without forgetting “bloodwurst” (blood sausage). Many French people eat their meat almost uncooked, bloody. Today’s trends, is to eat snails eggs as new delicacy, all kind of fish without scale and other creature forbidden by the Torah!
I have seen in the Philippines, people eating bats, drinking blood from serpents and eating the meat, eating also dogs. In Africa people eat monkey, and snakes or even some kind of spider in China people eat dogs, worms and all kind of insects!
People are bound to their tradition because they are blind to the knowledge of the truth.
Many sickness our directly bound to alimentation, and people ignore them, they prefer to chose to make “sport” or to go a make a “cure” for a while, rather than to change their diet.
If you tell them Pork is unclean and therefore is to be ban from our alimentation, they laugh at you. Today if you buy some kind of ready food (noodle flavoured), seasoning (ingredients meat!!!!), even candies (gelatine) they are all add with pork.
Farmers have called in the TV to change the name “Pork Influenza” against using alone “Influenza” fearing for their business. Mexican Government called the OMS (Mundial Wealth Organisation) in order to change the name of the influenza from “Mexican influenza” against “Influenza A”!
Does this will change the effect? Of course not, it will hide the meaning and be a snare for the people who rebel against יהוה divine law. Do you know that in western countries swine are from birth injected with antibiotics drugs in order to avoid sickness? These antibiotics go into the blood and are absorbed by those who eat swine meat. Today doctors wonder why many people do not react anymore on antibiotics!  What does the Word says? Any earthen vessel into which any of them falls, whatever is in it becomes unclean, and you break it.
Don’t you know that we are these earthen vessels as it is written?
2Co 4:7 and we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellence of the power might be of Elohim, and not of us
Moshe gives the reason why it is so commanded of יהוה:  to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean….What do we chose today, are we willing to give all our heart to keep ourselves clean and undefiled, in order for יהוה to receive us? How will it be with all these Christians boasting when eating unclean?
Time will tells, we should pray for all these people, many are blind following blind leaders.
Lev 11:1  And יהוה spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon, saying to them, Lev 11:2 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘These are the living creatures which you do eat among all the beasts that are on the earth:
Lev 11:3 ‘Whatever has a split hoof completely dividedchewing the cud, among the beasts, that you do eat.
Lev 11:4 ‘Only, these you do not eat among those that chew the cud or those that have a split hoof: the camel, because it chews the cud but does not have a split hoof, it is unclean to you; Lev 11:5 and the rabbit, because it chews the cud but does not have a split hoof, it is unclean to you; Lev 11:6 and the hare, because it chews the cud but does not have a split hoof, it is unclean to you; Lev 11:7 and the pig, though it has a split hoof, completely divided, yet does not chew the cud, it is unclean to you. Lev 11:8 Their flesh you do not eat, and their carcasses you do not touch. They are unclean to you. Lev 11:9 ‘These you do eat of all that are in the waters: any one that has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas or in the rivers, that you do eat. Lev 11:10 ‘But all that have not fins and scales in the seas and in the rivers, all that move in the waters or any living creature which is in the waters, they are an abomination to you. Lev 11:11 ‘They are an abomination to you – of their flesh you do not eat, and their carcasses you abominate. Lev 11:12 ‘All that have not fins or scales in the waters is an abomination to you. Lev 11:13 ‘And these you do abominate among the birds, they are not eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the vulture, and the black vultureLev 11:14 and the hawk, and the falcon after its kind, Lev 11:15 every raven after its kind, Lev 11:16 and the ostrich, and the nighthawk, and the seagull, and the hawk after its kind,
Lev 11:17 and the little owl, and the fisher owl, and the great owlLev 11:18 and the white owl, and the pelican, and the carrion vultureLev 11:19 and the stork, the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe, and the batLev 11:20 ‘All flying insects that creep on all fours is an abomination to you. Lev 11:21 ‘Only, these you do eat of every flying insect that creeps on all fours: those which have jointed legs above their feet with which to leap on the earthLev 11:22 ‘These of them you do eat: the locust after its kind, and the destroying locust after its kind, and the cricket after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind. Lev 11:23 ‘But all other flying insects which have four feet is an abomination to youLev 11:24 ‘And by these you are made unclean, anyone touching the carcass of any of them is unclean until evening, Lev 11:25 and anyone picking up part of the carcass of any of them has to wash his garments, and shall be unclean until evening. Lev 11:26 ‘Every beast that has a split hoof not completely divided, or does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. Anyone who touches their carcass is unclean. Lev 11:27 ‘And whatever goes on its paws, among all the creatures that go on all fours, those are unclean to you. Anyone who touches their carcass is unclean until evening, Lev 11:28 and he who picks up their carcass has to wash his garments, and shall be unclean until evening. They are unclean to youLev 11:29 ‘And these are unclean to you among the creeping creatures that creep on the earth: the mole, and the mouse, and the tortoise after its kind, Lev 11:30 and the gecko, and the land crocodile, and the sand reptile, and the sand lizard, and the chameleonLev 11:31 ‘These are unclean to you among all that creep. Anyone who touches them when they are dead becomes unclean until evening. Lev 11:32 ‘And whatever any of them in its dead state falls upon, becomes unclean, whether it is any wooden object or garment or skin or sack, any object in which work is done, it is put in water. And it shall be unclean until evening, then it shall be clean.
Lev 11:33 ‘Any earthen vessel into which any of them falls, whatever is in it becomes unclean, and you break it.
Lev 11:34 ‘Any of the food which might be eaten, on which water comes, becomes unclean, and any drink which might be drunk from it becomes unclean.
Lev 11:35 ‘And on whatever any of their carcass falls becomes unclean – an oven or cooking range – it is broken down. They are unclean, and are unclean to you.
Lev 11:36 ‘But a fountain or a well, a collection of water, is clean, but whatever touches their carcass is unclean.
Lev 11:37 ‘And when any of their carcass falls on any planting seed which is to be sown, it is clean.
Lev 11:38 ‘But when any water is put on the seed and any part of any such carcass falls on it, it is unclean to you.
Lev 11:39 ‘And when any of the beasts which are yours for food dies, he who touches its carcass becomes unclean until evening.
Lev 11:40 ‘And he who eats of its carcass has to wash his garments, and shall be unclean until evening. And he who picks up its carcass has to wash his garments, and shall be unclean until evening.
Lev 11:41 ‘And every creeping creature that creeps on the earth is an abomination, it is not eaten.
Lev 11:42 ‘Whatever crawls on its stomach, and whatever goes on all fours, and whatever has many feet among all creeping creatures that creep on the earth, these you do not eat, for they are an abomination.
Lev 11:43 ‘Do not make yourselves abominable with any creeping creature that creeps, and do not make yourselves unclean with them, lest you be defiled by them.
Lev 11:44 ‘For I am יהוה your Elohim, and you shall set yourselves apart. And you shall be set-apart, for I am set-apart. And do not defile yourselves with any creeping creature that creeps on the earth.
Lev 11:45 ‘For I am יהוה who is bringing you up out of the landof Mitsrayim, to be your Elohim. And you shall be set-apart, for I am set-apart.
Lev 11:46 ‘This is the Torah of the beasts and the birds and every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps on the earth,
Lev 11:47 to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living creature that is eaten and the living creature that is not eaten.’ ”

The Haftorah demonstrates that יהוה does not change. We have two different situations were people receive divine judgments and one of Kefa a God-fearing man
·       Uzzah during King David’s time, touching the Ark and died.
·       Hannanyah and Shappirah who hided something before יהוה and received instant punishment.
·       Kefa having a vision, refusing even to kill the “unclean animal” in the vision, until he understood the meaning of the vision.
  • Act 10:34  Then Kepha opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that YHWH is no respecter of persons:
  • Act 10:35  But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
We see the spiritual aspect of Kefa’s vision matching with Barnabas’ explanation: Unclean animals future unclean people from among the nations, Kefa knew now that those coming back to the Torah through Messiah Yehoshua can be no more called unclean!
2Sa 6:1  Now Dawiḏ again gathered all the chosen men of Yisra’ĕl, thirty thousand.
2Sa 6:2 And Dawiḏ rose up and went with all the people who were with him from Baʽalĕ Yehuḏah, to bring up from there the ark of Elohim, that is called by the Name, the Name יהוה of Hosts, who dwells between the keruḇim. 2Sa 6:3 And they placed the ark of Elohim on a new wagon, and brought it from the house of Aḇinaḏaḇ, which was on the hill. And Uzzah and Aḥyo, sons of Aḇinaḏaḇ, were leading the new wagon.
2Sa 6:4 And they brought it from the house of Aḇinaḏaḇ, which was on the hill, with the ark of Elohim. And Aḥyo was walking before the ark. 2Sa 6:5 And Dawiḏ and all the house of Yisra’ĕl were dancing before יהוה, with all instruments of fir wood, and with lyres, and with harps, and with tambourines, and with sistrums, and with cymbals. 2Sa 6:6 And when they came to the threshing-floor of Naḵon, Uzzah reached out toward the ark of Elohim and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled.  2Sa 6:7 And the wrath of יהוה burned against Uzzah, and Elohim smote him there for the fault. And he died there by the ark of Elohim.
2Sa 6:8 And Dawiḏ was displeased because יהוה had broken out against Uzzah. And he called the name of the place Perets Uzzah, until this day. 2Sa 6:9 And Dawiḏ was afraid of יהוה on that day, and said, “How shall the ark of יהוה come to me?” 2Sa 6:10 And Dawiḏ would not move the ark of יהוה with him into the City of Dawiḏ, but Dawiḏ turned it aside to the house of Oḇĕḏ-Eḏom the Gittite. 2Sa 6:11 And the ark of יהוה remained in the house of Oḇĕḏ-Eḏom the Gittite three months, and יהוה blessed Oḇĕḏ-Eḏom and all his house. 2Sa 6:12 And it was reported to Sovereign Dawiḏ, saying, “יהוה has blessed the house of Oḇĕḏ-Eḏom and all that he has, because of the ark of Elohim.” Dawiḏ then went and brought up the ark of Elohim from the house of Oḇĕḏ-Eḏom to the City of Dawiḏ with rejoicing. 2Sa 6:13 And it came to be, when those bearing the ark of יהוה had gone six steps, that he slaughtered bulls and fatted sheep. 2Sa 6:14 And Dawiḏ danced before יהוה with all his might. And Dawiḏ was wearing a linen shoulder garment. 2Sa 6:15 Thus Dawiḏ and all the house of Yisra’ĕl brought up the ark of יהוה with shouting and with the sound of the ram’s horn. 2Sa 6:16 And it came to be, when the ark of יהוה came into the City of Dawiḏ, that Miḵal, daughter of Sha’ul, looked through a window and saw Sovereign Dawiḏ leaping and dancing before יהוהand she despised him in her heart. 2Sa 6:17 So they brought the ark of יהוה in, and set it in its place in the midst of the Tent that Dawiḏ had pitched for it. And Dawiḏ brought burnt offerings before יהוה, and peace offerings.
2Sa 6:18 And when Dawiḏ had finished bringing burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the Name of יהוה of hosts.2Sa 6:19 And he apportioned to all the people, to all the crowd of Yisra’ĕl, from man even to women, to each one a loaf of bread, and a measure, and a cake of raisins. And all the people left, each one to his house. 2Sa 6:20 And Dawiḏ returned to bless his household, and Miḵal the daughter of Sha’ul came out to meet Dawiḏ, and said, “How esteemed was the sovereign of Yisra’ĕl today, uncovering himself today in the eyes of the female servants of his servants, as one of the foolish ones shamelessly uncovers himself!” 2Sa 6:21 So Dawiḏ said to Miḵal, “Before יהוה, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of יהוה, over Yisra’ĕl, so I danced before יהוה. 2Sa 6:22 “And I shall be even more slight than this, and shall be humble in my own eyes. But as for the female servants of whom you have spoken, by them I am esteemed.”
2Sa 6:23 And Miḵal the daughter of Sha’ul had no children to the day of her death.
Act 5:1But a certain man named Ḥananyah, with Shappirah his wife, sold a possession.
Act 5:2 and he kept back from the price, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the feet of the emissaries. Act 5:3 But Kĕpha said, “Ḥananyah, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Set-apart Spirit and keep back from the price of the land for yourself? Act 5:4 “While it remained, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your authority? Why have you conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to Elohim.” Act 5:5 Then Ḥananyah, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. And great fear came upon all those who heard of this.
Act 5:6 But the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out and buried him.
Act 5:7 And it came to be, about three hours later that his wife came in, not knowing what had taken place.
Act 5:8 And Kĕpha responded to her, “Say to me whether you sold the land for so much?” And she said, “Yes, for so much.”
Act 5:9 So Kĕpha said to her, “Why have you agreed to try the Spirit of יהוה? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they shall carry you out.”
Act 5:10 And immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, they buried her beside her husband.
Act 5:11 And great fear came upon all the assembly and upon all who heard of this.
Act 5:12 And through the hands of the emissaries many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one mind in Shelomoh’s Porch.
Act 10:9 And on the next day, as they were on their way and approaching the city, Kĕpha went up on the house-top to pray, about the sixth hour.
Act 10:10 And he became hungry and wished to eat. But while they were preparing, he fell into a trance,
Act 10:11 and he saw the heaven opened and a certain vessel like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth,
Act 10:12 in which were all kinds of four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping creatures, and the birds of the heaven.
Act 10:13 And a voice came to him, “Rise up, Kĕpha, slay and eat.”
Act 10:14 But Kĕpha said, “Not at all, Master! Because I have never eaten whatever is common or unclean.”
Act 10:15 And a voice came to him again the second time, “What Elohim has cleansed you do not consider common.”
Act 10:16 And this took place three times, and the vessel was taken back to the heaven.
Act 10:17 And while Kĕpha was doubting within himself about what the vision might mean, look, the men who had been sent from Cornelius, having asked for the house of Shimʽon, stood at the gate,
Act 10:18 and calling out, they enquired whether Shimʽon, also known as Kĕpha, was staying there.
Act 10:19 And as Kĕpha was thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “See, three men seek you.
Act 10:20 “But rise up, go down and go with them, not doubting at all, for I have sent them.”
Act 10:21 So Kĕpha went down to the men who had been sent to him from Cornelius, and said, “Look, I am the one you seek. Why have you come?”
Act 10:22 And they said, “Cornelius the captain, a righteous man and one who fears Elohim and well spoken of by the entire nation of the Yehuḏim, was instructed by a set-apart messenger to send for you to his house, and to hear words from you.”
Act 10:28  And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but YHWH hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Act 10:34 and opening his mouth, Kĕpha said, “Truly I see that Elohim shows no partiality,
Act 10:35 but in every nation, he who fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.
May יהוה bless you as you follow our Master יהושע in the Torah, the way of life!
