45Parashah Eikev-Because

46Parashah Eikev-Because
D’varim 7 :12 - 11 :25,
YeshYahu 49:14-51:3, Rom :8 :31-39
                                                     Daniel ben Ya’acov Israel

Portion Summary

The forty-sixth reading from the Torah and the third reading from the book of Deuteronomy is named Ekev(עקב), a word from the first verse of the portion. Deuteronomy 7:12 says, "Then it shall come about, because (ekev, עקב) you listen to these judgments and keep and do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you His covenant and His lovingkindness which He swore to your forefathers." Usually the word ekev means "heel." In fact, this word shares the same three-letter root as the name Jacob (Yaakov, יעקב), whose name actually means "heel." He was born holding on to Esau's heel. However, in Deuteronomy 7:12, the word ekev means "on the heels of" or "because of." This portion of Deuteronomy speaks of the rewards that will come to Israel on the heels of keeping God's covenant and commandments.

We will start our Midrash by scrutinizing some words who will give us hints helping us to see behind the letter. May we also be like the “Bereans” searching the scriptures daily in order to rightly handle the Word of Truth!
Hear: Strong’s # H8085 שׁמע shâma‛ shaw-mah', ....A primitive root; to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively to tell, etc.): -  X attentively, call (gather) together, X carefully, X certainly, consent, consider, be content, declare, X diligently, discern, give ear, (cause to, let, make to) hear (-ken, tell), X indeed, listen, make (a) noise, (be) obedient, obey, perceive, (make a) proclaim (-ation), publish, regard, report, shew (forth), (make a) sound, X surely, tell, understand, whosoever [heareth], witness.
We remember that the word “sh’ma” indicate to hear with the purpose of doing. This is not the same meaning as we know today in our modern language. “Sh’ma” has been proclaimed by our Master יהושע to be the greatest commandment. …To hear and to do will cause Elohim to keep the covenant he did with Abraham, Itzak and Ya’acov……
To hear his right-rulings……
Right-rulings: Strong’s # H4941 mishpâṭ mish-pawt'
From H8199; properly a verdict (favourable or unfavourable) pronounced judicially, especially a sentence or formal decree (human or (particularly) divine law, individual or collectively), including the act, the place, the suit, the crime, and the penalty; abstractly justice, including a particular right, or privilege (statutory or customary), or even a style: -  + adversary, ceremony, charge, X crime, custom, desert, determination, discretion, disposing, due, fashion, form, to be judged, judgment, just (-ice, -ly), (manner of) law (-ful), manner, measure, (due) order, ordinance, right, sentence, usest, X worthy, + wrong...... H8199: shâphaṭ shaw-fat'
A primitive root; to judge, that is, pronounce sentence (for or against); by implication to vindicate or punish; by extension to govern; passively to litigate (literally or figuratively): -  + avenge, X that condemn, contend, defend, execute (judgment), (be a) judge (-ment), X needs, plead, reason, rule..... ....
Today many believers have forgotten the way of the Torah to follow after false teaching. In the first century, in יהושע’s time, the Torah was predominant in people’s life. The Torah was spoiled by the “takanot and ma’asim” a list of decrees and laws add by the Pharisee called by Sha’ul: Works of the Torah.(Gal.2:16).......
We can read what יהושע told his talmidim (disciples):
John 14:15If you love Me, you shall guard (keep/shamar) My commands.
1Jn 5:2 by this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim and guard (keep/shamar)His commands.
1Jn 5:3 for this is the love for Elohim, that we guard (shamar) His commands, and His commands are not heavy
2Jn 1:6 and this is the love, that we walk according to His commands. This is the command, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.... ......
Was it a “new teaching? Let us look:
Exo 20:6 but showing kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and guard (keep/shamar) My commands........
We cannot separate the Brit chadasha,“ falsely called New Testament” from the Tanak,“ falsely called Old Testament” both work in perfect unity. We read in the Tanak (Torah + Prophets + Writings), especially by the mouth of the prophets, from many promises which have been and will be fulfilled in our time.
When reading the Brit Chadasha we often forget to understand the context of the time. This period was difficult for the people. Remember since the time of the Prophet Daniel, people have been in captivity in Babylon, for over 70years and came back under Ezra and NehemiYahu.
Babylon brought a lot of pagan traditions (i.e. name for the months which were not given by יהוה in the life of the exiled children of the House of Yehuda, this was the beginning of the Talmudic development which is well established today among the “jews” called “Judaism” a man made religion these laws now compiled in a book called Talmud.
At יהושע time, the takanot and ma’asim (Pharisee rules to keep the Torah, called by Sha’ul: “the works of the Torah”*) established by the Pharisee had put the people under bondage. יהושע came to set people free and to bring them back to the right ruling of the Torah.
Have you ever guessed about what יהושע says in the book of Yochanan:
John 8:32 and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
He was speaking to yehudin (Jews) who believed in him (that He came from Elohim). At this time people were under the oppression of the Pharisee and were scared to be thrown out of the synagogues if it was known that they were following יהושע
Joh 9:22 His parents said this because they were afraid of the Yehuḏim, for the Yehuḏim had already agreed that if anyone confessed that He was Messiah, he should be put out of the congregation.
יהושע came to set people free from the Pharisee doctrines with their ruling and traditions of men. The truth is the Torah (Psalm 119: 142, 151,160) *Avi ben Mordechai (millenium7000.com) wrote and excellent book on Galatians, concerning “the works of the Torah”. In his web site you will find some tapes to listen. A must for all those who wish to get a better understanding, especially concerning the writing from Sha’ul too often misunderstood.
Deu 7:13 and יהוה shall love you and bless you and increase you, and shall bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you. ……..
And shall bless you …..
The Hebrew word for blessing informs the reader that יהוה will take care of him. This is the word:
Bless: Strong’s # H1288 bârak baw-rak'.............. A primitive root; to kneel; by implication to bless God (as an act of adoration), and (vice-versa) man (as a benefit); also (by euphemism) to curse (God or the king, as treason): -  X abundantly, X altogether, X at all, blaspheme, bless, congratulate, curse, X greatly, X indeed, kneel (down), praise, salute, X still, thank...... יהוה will kneel or come close to you. May be you know the expression used by some gamblers (I had the baracca). This comes from the Hebrew word: berâkâh ber-aw-kaw'
From H1288; benediction; by implication prosperity: - blessing, liberal, pool, present...... The promised blessing for keeping the mishpatim was: increase you, and shall bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain (harvest) and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you.
Eight time blessing if we count: Eight been the number for “behind the natural”, we can see that to obey יהוה will bring what is not possible by natural ways, in front of all people(i.e. pagans).
How it is today? If we look at these promises, something has come across the life of the people in order to change it all these promises. We all know that it is rebellion against the Torah, which brought the change. The world today speaks of starvation in many countries. The word “recession” is found in many news papers. The report concerning harvest is catastrophic; the all world is under the bondage of sin (rejection of the Torah 1st Yochanan 3:4) by having transgressed the commandments.
יהושע came to bring us back to the torah, the truth and by becoming obedient children we participate in the “tikkun” the restoration of all things.
Act 3:20 and he shall send יהושע the Messiah, which before was preached unto you: Act 3:21 whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things (tikhun), which YHWH hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
“Tikhun”, the restoration of all things started right after Adam failed.
Deu 7:14 “Blessed are you above all peoples – there is not going to be a barren man or a barren woman among you or among your livestock. Deu 7:15 “And יהוה shall turn away from you all sickness and put on you none of the evil diseases of Mitsrayim which you have known, but He shall put them on all those who hate you.
יהוה shall take away from you all sickness……
Sickness: Strong’s # H 2483 chŏlîy khol-ee'...... From H2470; malady, anxiety(that is fear), calamity: - disease, grief, (is) sick (-ness).......
H2470 châlâh khaw-law'......A primitive root (compare H2342, H2490); properly to be rubbed or worn; hence (figuratively) to be weak, sick, afflicted; or (causatively) to grieve, make sick; also to stroke (in flattering), entreat: - beseech, (be) diseased, (put to) grief, be grieved, (be) grievous, infirmity, intreat, lay to, put to pain, X pray, make prayer, be (fall, make) sick, sore, be sorry, make suit (X supplication), woman in travail, be (become) weak, be wounded........ Diseases of Mitsrayim: Strong’s # H 4064 Madveh mad-veh'....... From H1738; sickness: - disease........
H1738 dâvâh daw-vaw' A primitive root; to be sick (as if in menstruation): - infirmity.
We see the difference between the words “sickness / chŏlîy” and disease/ dâvâh. The first consist more on oppression and the second on physical diseases.
Let us read some commentaries:
Albert Barnes: ---- There seems to be here not so much as a reference to the plagues inflicted miraculously by God on Egypt (compare Exo_15:26), as to the terrible diseases with which, above other countries, Egypt was infested. Compare Deu_28:27, Deu_28:35. It is not without significance that Egypt, which represents in Scripture the world as contrasted with the Assembly, should thus above other lands lie under the power of disease and death........
Jamieson, Fausset and Brown:
the evil diseases of Egypt — (See Exo_15:26). Besides those with which Pharaoh and his subjects were visited, Egypt has always been dreadfully scourged with diseases. The testimony of Moses is confirmed by the reports of many modern writers, who tell us that, notwithstanding its equal temperature and sereneness (calm, untroubled) , that country has some indigenous maladies which are very malignant, such as ophthalmia (inflammation of the eyes), dysentery (infection of the intestine), smallpox, and the plague.

Many people look today to doctors. Unfortunately many believers today turn to the power of doctors. This is not what the Torah teaches us. The way to keep us far from diseases is the Torah observance.
Pro 3:1 My son, do not forget my Torah, and let your heart watch over my commands;Pro 3:2 for length of days and long life and peace they add to you....
Mal 4:2 but unto you that fearH3373 my nameH8034 shall the SunH8121 of righteousnessH6666 ariseH2224 with healingH4832 in his wings;H3671 and ye shall go forth,H3318 and grow upH6335 as calvesH5695 of the stall.H4770 .......
Healing: Strong’s # H4832 marpê' mar-pay'...... From H7495; properly curative, that is, literally (concretely) a medicine, or (abstractly) a cure; figuratively (concretely) deliverance, or (abstractly) placidity: - ([in-]) cure (-able), healing (-lth), remedy, sound, wholesome, yielding.
H7495 râphâh'  raw-faw'. A primitive root; properly to mend (by stitching), that is, (figuratively) to cure: - cure, (cause to) heal, physician, repair, X thoroughly, make whole. See H7503.
יהוה רפה (YHWH Rapha)............. Do you know that יהוה is also called YHWH Rapha?
יהושע (the Sun of righteousness) came to cure, heal, people, and us from the disease of Mitzrayim.........
Question: Is it bad to use herbal healing? No, I know many using herbal healing especially in Asia, where I lived between 2005 and 2007 and go now from time to time as YHWH make it possible. I have also make use of some “fever killer”. I realize that, יהושע paid the price to restore us and make us whole. Our part is to walk in the Torah and ask Abba יהוה to heal us.
Sha’ul /Paul speak from one brother sick almost unto death:
Php 2:25 but I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditos, my brother, fellow worker, and fellow soldier, and your emissary and servant to my need, Php 2:26 since he was longing for you all, and being troubled because you had heard that he was sick. Php 2:27 for indeed he was sick, near to death, but Elohim had compassion on him, and not only on him but on me as well, lest I should have sadness upon sadness.
Do not think that you are in sin just because you fall under sickness.......  We are living in a corrupted world lying in wickedness. Today the world is making “remedy” and “drugs” upon “drugs”, they look more and more to “vaccines” in order as they say to “protect” population from sickness, diseases, and plagues (i.e. swine flu). French government among other has spent in 2009 almost one billion Euro that is today 1.4 billion of US dollars only for swine flu vaccine! Every day the TV and radio “intoxicate” people’s ears with warning concerning the danger of this swine flu plague. They report around 300 people who died throughout the world on “swine flu”. Do you know that only in France, every year around 6000 people die on winter flu and nobody make mention of it!
What does the TaNak teaches to believers:
Deu 7:15 “And יהוה shall turn away from you all sickness and put on you none of the evil diseases of Mitsrayim which you have known, but He shall put them on all those who hate you. …..
What is our remedy?
Psa 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, Who abides under the shadow of the Almighty, Psa 91:2 He is saying of יהוה, “My refuge and my stronghold, My Elohim, in whom I trust!” Psa 91:3 for He delivers you from the snare of a trapper, from the destructive pestilence. Psa 91:4 He covers you with His feathers, and under His wings you take refuge; His truth is a shield and armour. Psa 91:5 you are not afraid of the dread by night, Of the arrow that flies by day, Psa 91:6 Of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Of destruction that ravages at midday. Psa 91:7 a thousand fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it does not come near you. Psa 91:8 only with your eyes you look on, and see the reward of the wrong ones.
Psa 91:9 because (kı̂y, here the reason) you have made יהוה – My refuge, the Most Highyour dwelling place, Psa 91:10 no evil befalls you, and a plague does not come near your tent; Psa 91:11 for He commands His messengers concerning you, To guard (shamar) you in all your ways. Psa 91:12 they bear you up in their hands, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. Psa 91:13 you tread upon lion and cobra, Young lion and serpent you trample under foot.
Psa 91:14 Because (kı̂y here the reason) he cleaves to Me in love, Therefore I deliver him; I set him on high, Because (kı̂y) he has known My Name. Psa 91:15 When he calls on Me, I answer him; I am with him in distress; I deliver him and esteem him. Psa 91:16 With long life I satisfy him, and show him My deliverance.
kı̂y: roots of the word Eikv. The cause of Elohim action, the same as in our today’s parasha.
The Psalm 91 is a psalm of promises against sickness, diseases, troubles in our life, I encourage each of us to make this psalm our daily lecture and let these words penetrate our innermost part of our soul. These are our remedy against plagues, sickness and diseases. People do not understand that sin call for judgment and plagues is a form of judgment coming upon people because of sin! We see it again and again when we read the Torah; but for those turning back to the Torah, they make יהוה their refuge and put their faith, their trust in Him for protection.
Deu 7:16 “And you shall consume all the peoples whom YHWH your Elohim is delivering over to you – your eye shall not pardon them. and do not serve their mighty ones (elohim), for that is a snare to you. …….
Snare: Strong’s #4170 מוקשׁ môqêsh  mo-kashe', From H3369; a noose (for catching animals), (literally or figuratively); by implication a hook (for the nose): - be ensnared, gin, (is) snare (-d), trap…….
יהוה knew that if the children, of Israel keep contact with the people around them; they will be entangled by their traditions, their false gods and false worship. Don’t be surprised, even today you can go in some place to see how people are entangled by the doctrine of men. They believe their worship is honoring “g-d”. Have you ever been there among people worshiping during “Sun_day” thinking that they worship the living “G-d” in spite of rejecting the truth proclaimed by יהושע? I was there and give thanks to יהוה for having taken me away from this place, unfortunately, every time I have the opportunity I speak to them, very seldom, some listen! יהוה knows!
Sha’ul speak to the believers in Ephesus and explains that today our battle is no more Physical, the enemy is the hidden one:
Eph 6:12 Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual matters of wickedness in the heavenlies. ........
This verse from Sha’ul is of importance, because it explains what is going on in this world.
First of all we can notice that Sha’ul doesn’t speak of physical power “wrestle not against flesh and blood” but against other invisible forces which are most powerful: ----- - Principalities: Jamieson, Fausset and Brown “The principalities ... the powers” (Eph_1:21; Col_1:16; see on Eph_3:10). The same grades of powers are specified in the case of the demons here, as in that of angels there (compare Rom_8:38; 1Co_15:24; Col_2:15). The Ephesians had practiced sorcery (Act_19:19 and this became known to all, both Yehuḏim and Greeks dwelling in Ephesos. And fear fell on them all, and the Name of the Master יהושע was made great
Act 19:18 many who had believed came confessing and declaring their deeds.
Act 19:19 and many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together, burning them before all. And they reckoned up the value of them, and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver, so that he appropriately treats of evil spirits in addressing them. The more clearly any book of Scripture, as this, treats of the economy of the kingdom of light, the more clearly does it set forth the kingdom of darkness. Hence, nowhere does the satanic kingdom come more clearly into view than in the Gospels which treat of Messiah, the true Light.
Albert Barnes:  ---- But against principalities - There can be no doubt whatever that the apostle alludes here to evil spirits. Like good angels, they were regarded as divided into ranks and orders, and were supposed to be under the control of one mighty leader; see the notes on Eph_1:21. It is probable that the allusion here is to the ranks and orders which they sustained before their fall, something like which they may still retain. The word “principalities” refers to principal rulers, or chieftains.....
Powers - Those who had power, or to whom the name of “powers” was given. Milton represents Satan as addressing the fallen angels in similar language: ---- Jamieson, Fausset and Brown(For the sake of accuracy I change the name and false English translation, like “church”, L-rd”,)..... rulers of the darkness of this world — Greek, “age” or “course of the world.” But the oldest manuscripts omit “of world.” Translate, “Against the world rulers of this (present) darkness” (Eph_2:2; Eph_5:8; Luk_22:53; Col_1:13). On Satan and his demons being “world rulers,” compare Joh_12:31; Joh_14:30; Joh_16:11; Luk_4:6; 2Co_4:4; 1Jo_5:19, Greek, “lieth in the wicked one.” Though they be “world rulers,” they are not the ruler of the universe; and their usurped rule of the world is soon to cease, when He shall “come whose right it is” (Eze_21:27). Two cases prove Satan not to be a mere subjective fancy (delusion, idea, illusion): (1) Messiaht’s temptation; (2) the entrance of demons into the swine (for these are incapable of such fancies). Satan tries to parody, or imitate in a perverted way, God’s working (2Co_11:13, 2Co_11:14). So when the Word became incarnate, Satan, by his demons, took forcible possession of human bodies. Thus the demoniacally possessed were not peculiarly wicked, but miserable, and so fit subjects for Yehoshua’s pity. Paul makes no mention of demoniacal possession, so that in the time he wrote, it seems to have ceased; it probably was restricted to the period of the Word’s incarnation, and of the foundation of the Assembly.
Albert Barnes: ---- Against the rulers of the darkness of this world - The rulers that preside over the regions of ignorance and sin with which the earth abounds, compare notes on Eph_2:2. “Darkness” is an emblem of ignorance, misery, and sin; and no description could be more accurate than that of representing these malignant spirits as ruling over a dark world. The earth - dark, and wretched and ignorant, and sinful - is just such a dominion as they would choose, or as they would cause; and the degradation and woe of the pagan world are just such as foul and malignant spirits would delight in. It is a wide and a powerful empire. It has been consolidated by ages. It is sustained by all the authority of law; by all the omnipotence of the perverted religious principle; by all the reverence for antiquity; by all the power of selfish, corrupt, and base passions. No empire has been so extended, or has continued so long, as that empire of darkness; and nothing on earth is so difficult to destroy..... Yet the apostle says that it was on that kingdom they were to make war. Against that, the kingdom of the Redeemer was to be set up; and that was to be overcome by the spiritual weapons which he specifies. When he speaks of the Believers warfare here, he refers to the contest with the powers of this dark kingdom. He regards each and every Believer as a soldier to wage war on it in whatever way he could, and wherever he could attack it. The contest therefore was not primarily with people, or with the internal corrupt propensities of the soul; it was with this vast and dark kingdom that had been set up over mankind. I do not regard this passage, therefore, as having a primary reference to the struggle which a (Believer) maintains with his own corrupt propensities (natural tendency or disposition). It is a warfare on a large scale with the entire kingdom of darkness over the world. Yet in maintaining the warfare, the struggle will be with such portions of that kingdom as we come in contact with and will actually relate:
    (1)to our own sinful propensities (disposition, faculty, ability) - which are a part of the kingdom of darkness;
(2) with the evil passions of others - their pride, ambition, and spirit of revenge - which are also a part of that kingdom;
(3) with the evil customs, laws, opinions, employments, pleasures of the world - which are also a part of that dark kingdom;
(4) with error, superstition, false doctrine - which are also a part of that kingdom; and,
(5)with the wickedness of the pagan world - the sins of benighted nations - also a part of that kingdom. Wherever we come in contact with evil - whether in our own hearts or elsewhere - there we are to make war.
Against spiritual wickedness - Margin, “or wicked spirits.” Literally, “The spiritual things of wickedness;” but the allusion is undoubtedly to evil spirits, and to their influences on earth......
In high places - ἐν τοῖς ἐπουράνιοις - “in celestial or heavenly places.” The same phrase occurs in Eph_1:3; Eph_2:6, where it is translated, “in heavenly places.” The word (ἐπουράνιος  epouranios) is used of those that dwell in heaven, Mat_18:35; Phi_2:10; of those who come from heaven, 1Co_15:48; Phi_3:21; of the heavenly bodies, the sun, moon, and stars, 1Co_15:40. Then the neuter plural of the word is used to denote the heavens; and then the “lower” heavens, the sky, the air, represented as the seat of evil spirits; see the notes on Eph_2:2. This is the allusion here. The evil spirits are supposed to occupy the lofty regions of the air, and thence to exert a baleful influence on the affairs of man. What was the origin of this opinion it is not needful here to inquire. No one can “prove,” however, that it is incorrect. It is against such spirits, and all their malignant influences, that (Believers) are called to contend. In whatever way their power is put forth - whether in the prevalence of vice and error; of superstition and magic arts; of infidelity, atheism, or antinomianism (rejection of Torah); of evil customs and laws; of pernicious fashions and opinions, or in the corruptions of our own hearts, we are to make war on all these forms of evil, and never to yield in the conflict
Gill: ---- and against the rulers of the darkness of this world; that is, over wicked men in it, who are in a state of darkness itself; and so Satan is called the prince, and god of the world, Joh_12:31. The Jews use this very word, the apostle does here, of the angel of death; who is called darkness (f); and the devil is called by them, שר של חושך, "the prince of darkness" (g); and mention is made by them of חשוכי עלמא, "the darkness of the world" (h); from whom the apostle seems to have taken these phrases, as being in common use among the Jews; who also use it of civil governors (i), and render it, as here, "the rulers of the world", and say it signifies monarchs, such as rule from one end of the world to the other (k): some copies, and the Ethiopic version, leave out the phrase, of this world. It follows,
against spiritual wickedness in high places; or wicked spirits, as the devils are, unclean, proud, lying, deceitful, and malicious; who may be said to be in "high" or "heavenly places"; not in places super celestial, or in the highest heavens, in the third heaven, where God, angels, and (Set Apart’s One) are; but in the aerial heavens (called the world of Yetzirah in Hebrew the world of angel, demons) where the power or posse of devils reside, and where they are above us, over our heads, overlooking us, and watching every advantage against us; and therefore we should have on our armour, and be in a readiness to engage them; and so the Syriac and Ethiopic versions render it, "under", or "beneath heaven"; and the Arabic version, "in the air".
Most believers today neglect the learning of these teaching concerning the spiritual world and overlook the power of demons. How can we withstand the power of darkness if we don’t know, where and who they are, and how they interact with the world we are living?
Shaul speak of different places in the heavenly, at this time it was common and well known among believers. Today HaSatan has confused the mind of people, unfortunately even of believers to let them look at what is seen and ignore the spiritual world, many “Christians” run to watch movies like “Harry Potter”, “Left Behind”, and others similar which weaken their understanding. HaSatan has a powerful tool in the cinema industry making movies who glorify demons and evil as to be unreal in spite of the reality of their powerful presence!
2Co 12:2 I know a man in Messiah who fourteen years ago – whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, Elohim knows – such a one was caught up to the third heaven.
2Co 12:3 and I know such a man – whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, Elohim knows – 2Co 12:4 that he was caught up into Paradise and heard unspeakable words, which it is not right for a man to speak.....
Sha’ul without doubt speaks of the different heavens, and was well informed of its structures. For those having read concerning “the heavens” they will see that Sha’ul was counting up down speaking of the “third heaven”, called “Paradise”. We know that this place was the place where Adam and Chawah (Eve) were before יהוה quick them out (B’reshit 2:8, 3:23).................
Today people rely on what is seen and reject vehemently what is not seen TV programs oppose what is not seen making “fun” of the unseen world. It is amazing to me as we learn in the Torah that it is Elohim who is not seen who rule the universe! Prayer is NOT a ritual or tradition it is the action of “speaking” to our heavenly Father.
Three Greek words are translated with "prayer":
- "proseuchē" which could be translated as "supplication"
- "deēsis" which could be translated as "request", "petition"
- "enteuxis" which comes from the word "entugchanō", meaning: "to confer with" "to entreat".
With that in our mind we have a better approach of the word "prayer".

Deu 7:17 “When you say in your heart, ‘these nations are greater than I, I am unable to drive them out,’ ………
How many times we look at the circumstances in our life and are afraid?  King David knew that יהוה will deliver him:
Psa 27:1 יהוה is my light and my deliverance; Whom should I fear? יהוה is the refuge of my life; Whom should I dread? Psa 27:2 When evil-doers come against me To eat up my flesh, My adversaries angd my enemies, They shall stumble and fall…Psa 27:3 Though an army encamps against me, My heart does not fear; Though battle comes up against me, Even then I would be trusting………
King David had physical adversaries and search protection in יהוה’s arm.
Deu 7:18 do not be afraid of them. Remember well what יהוה your Elohim did to Pharaoh and to all Mitsrayim,
Deu 7:19 the great trials which your eyes saw, and the signs and the wonders, the strong hand and the outstretched arm, by which יהוה your Elohim brought you out. יהוה your Elohim does so to all the peoples of whom you are afraid. Deu 7:20 “And יהוה your Elohim also sends the hornet among them until those who are left, who hide themselves from you, are destroyed.
Deu 7:21Do not be afraid of them, for יהוה your Elohim, the great and awesome Ěl, is in your midst. Deu 7:22 “And יהוה your Elohim shall drive out those nations before you, little by little. You are not allowed to destroy them at once, lest the beasts of the field become too numerous for you. Deu 7:23 “But יהוה your Elohim shall deliver them over to you and destroy them with a great destruction until they are consumed…יהוה and not man is the one who destroy the enemy and consume them! Do you think there is a difference today? When I was a young believer, I have been confronted many times with fear. I have learned to resist fear and trust יהוה. This is the only way to honor Him. I shall trust and not fear for יהוה is my might and my strength (YeshaYahu 12:2)?
Psa 56:11 In Elohim I have trusted; I do not fear; what could man do to me?
Deu 7:24 “And He shall give their sovereigns into your hand, and you shall destroy their name from under the heavens. No one is going to be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them.
Deu 7:25 “The carved images of their mighty ones (Elohim) you are to burn with fire. Do not covet the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it for yourselves, lest you be snared by it, for it is an abomination to יהוה your Elohim.
Deu 7:26 “And do not bring an abomination into your house, lest you be accursed like it. Utterly loathe it and utterly hate it, for it is accursed. ……………..
Abomination # 8441 tô‛êbah tô‛êbah to-ay-baw', to-ay-baw'...............Feminine active participle of H8581; properly something disgusting (morally), that is, (as noun) an abhorrence; especially idolatry or (concretely) an idol: - abominable (custom, thing), abomination...........
.יהוה says that the carved images, even the gold and silver from pagans have to be rejected and not to be brought into the houses. Today in many countries all around the world, you can found idolatry in different forms, disgusting practice, in food, rituals and behaviors among people…….. Sha’ul says:

Deu 8:1  “Guard to do every command which I command you today, that you might live, and shall increase, and go in, and shall possess the land of which יהוה swore to your fathers. ……………
It is amazing to read this verse and hear Christians say: ”If you try to keep the law, you put yourself under a curse”!Is it what do יהוה to his children (you and me)? He interacts in a clear way in order to subdue our “flesh” or “carnal nature”. People who do not know how יהוה is interacting with His people, may accuse you of being brought low because of sin, but this is not what the Torah teaches us. We come from a pagan world, having turned the back to the truth, by following our Master יהושע, we must now undergo the process of subduing the carnal man, and the only way is to be led in the wilderness of life.
I have explained before in another parasha, the forty years in the wilderness are a microcosm of what happen to believers during the time from יהושע’s first advent and his second coming, two thousand years to establish יהוה’s Kingdom. The Two thousand years are represented in the Torah by the forty years in the wilderness or forty time fifty “yovel” (Jubilee). Well you will say why is it so brother Daniel?
During the “yovel” יהוה commanded His people to set everything right, those having been put into bondage, received back their property and were made free, this happened every fifty years. We could say to make the counter to the starting point. It is how יהוה count the time! (Yeshayahu 61:1-2, Luke 4:17-21)
Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Master YHWH is upon me; because YHWH hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; Isa 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of YHWH, and the day of vengeance of our Elohim; to comfort all that mourn; Isa 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of YHWH, that he might be glorified. The acceptable year of YHWH (Isa:61:2).
The Yovel Year every 50 years as here quoted from Jamiesson, Fausset and Brown:  --- Isa 61:2  ……….acceptable year — the year of jubilee on which “liberty was proclaimed to the captives” (Isa_61:1; 2Co_6:2). The Torah gives us the details of the Yovel (Jubilee):
Lev 25:8 and thou shalt number seven Sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. Lev 25:9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the Day of Atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. Lev 25:10 and ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
Deu 8:2 “And you shall remember that יהוה your Elohim led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, prove you, to know what is in your heart, whether you guard His commands or not…….
Once again, in spite of rebellion and struggle, יהוה was the one leading the children of Israel (carnal man) in the wilderness. Do you think it is different today? Who is the one who lead us? Sometime we turn in circle until we understand that we shall trust יהוה. We do not walk by sight, because circumstances do not correspond to יהוה reality. Here יהוה give the clear purpose of bringing us in the wilderness of life:
-        To humble us
-        To prove us
-        To know what is in our heart, to see if we will keep His commands or not
When you met Christians during their “Sun - day” worship, they are very loud in singing and crying their adoration to a “G-d” who do not know the Torah. יהוה says that he is the one bringing us to the wilderness in order to humble us, prove us and know what is in our heart, to see if we will keep His commands or not!
Deu 8:3 “And He humbled you, and let you suffer hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, to make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes from the mouth of יהוה. Footnote: 1Messiah quotes this in Mt. 4:4 and in Lk. 4:4.--- Luk 4:3 and the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of Elohim, command this stone to become bread.” Luk 4:4 but יהושע answered him, saying, “It has been written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of Elohim.’ ”1 Footnote: 1Dt. 8:3. ……..
This does not sound like an easy way! Many people think that they will have an easy life when they come to יהושע! Just read what Sha’ul wrote to the believers in Thessalonica: --- 2Th 1:4 so that we ourselves boast of you among the assemblies of Elohim for your endurance and belief in all your persecutions and afflictions which you are bearing, 2Th 1:5 clear evidence of the righteous judgment of Elohim, in order for you to be counted worthy of the reign of Elohim, for which you also suffer, 2Th 1:6 since Elohim shall rightly repay with affliction those who afflict you,
I will include a comment from Brother Nathan Laurence in his weekly Torah “midrash”:  ---- יהוה afflicted/humbled you. Does the concept of יהוה doing this to his people bother you? Perhaps he will do this to us, if and when we need it. The word afflict/anah (Strong’s H6031) literally means to become low, depressed, put down or stoop (Note some other places where “anah” is used: Ps. 55:19; 88:7; 90:15; 119:71, 75). Scripture says that Israel exited Egypt with “a high hand/upraised arm” (Exod. 14:8 and Num. 33:3). The word high/upraised can connote haughtiness or arrogance, or it can mean that the children left Egypt triumphantly and in jubilation waving banners (ArtScroll Stone Edition Chumash, p. 369). What do you think? Did they leave Egypt in a spirit of contrition or arrogance? If the latter, then why would they need humbling? Are we any different? What did Paul say about his thorn in the flesh? (2 Cor. 12:7). Why did Job experience what he did (see Job 42)? The process of humbling us so that we might have a higher view of יהוה results in greater contrition (detestation of past sins) on the part of humans. When this happen the blessings, power, anointing and provision of יהוה are able to flow into our lives more readily. How has יהוה been trying to humble your flesh that he might bring you to a higher level spiritually? The ArtScroll Chumash comments, “It is true that Elohim subjected the people to some hardships in the Wilderness, but even that was for their good; just as a father may chastise his child to prepare him for the future” (p. 983). Discuss this issue in light of the sufferings of יהוה’s servants while they were faithfully awaiting their spiritual inheritance as recorded in Hebrews 11. Compare this with James 1:12-17 and 1 Corinthians 3:13. Discuss the two types of judgments of יהוה as recorded in Scripture: his judgments unto repentance and his judgments unto death. What are some examples of each? Do יהוה’s Saints (Qadosh’s One) have to go through the latter type of judgment? (Examples: Noah and the flood; Lot and Sodom and Gomorrah; the Israelites and the plagues on Egypt; the Saints and the Tribulation, the Great Tribulation versus the Wrath of Elohim periods at the end of the age).....
Deu 8:4 “Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. Deu 8:5 “Thus you shall know in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so יהוה your Elohim disciplines you, ………Compare what Sha'ul write to the “Bereans” in the book of Hebrew:
Heb 12:5 and you have forgotten the appeal which speaks to you as to sons, “My son, do not despise the discipline of יהוה, nor faint when you are reproved by Him, Heb 12:6 for whom יהוה loves, He disciplines, and flogs every son whom He receives.”1 Footnote: 1Prov. 3:11-12.
Heb 12:7 If you endure discipline, Elohim is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom a father does not discipline? Heb 12:8 but if you are without discipline, of which all have become sharers, then you are illegitimate (bastard) and not sons. Heb 12:9 Moreover, we indeed had fathers of our flesh disciplining us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?
Heb 12:10 for they indeed disciplined us for a few days as seemed best to them, but He does it for our profit, so that we might share His apartness. Heb 12:11 and indeed, no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but grievous, but afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
Deu 8:6 therefore you shall guard the commands of יהוה your Elohim, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.
Deu 8:7 “For יהוה your Elohim is bringing you into a good land, a land of streams of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills, Deu 8:8 a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey, Deu 8:9 a land in which you eat bread without scarcity, in which you do not lack at all, a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you dig copper.
Again I will add some good thoughts from Brother Nathan Laurence from Hoshana Rabbah.
Do you really have the faith to go forward spiritually—to trust in יהוה’s leading? Or are you content to stay in the comfort zones of your religious wilderness? Have you put limits or boundaries on יהוה as to where he can lead you and where you refuse to let him take you? Are there certain things in יהוה’s Word that you refuse to believe applies to you, even though you have been presented with proof and truth to the contrary? Have you dug in your heels, hardened your heart and stiffened your neck telling יהוה you refuse to go where he is leading? It is this attitude that kept the older generation of Israelites out of the Promised Land (9:6-7; Heb. 4:1-7). Carefully examine your life in this regard and ask the Spirit of יהוה to enlighten your understanding.
Deu 8:10 “And you shall eat and be satisfied, and shall bless יהוה your Elohim for the good land which He has given you.
Deu 8:11 “Be on guard, lest you forget יהוה your Elohim by not guarding His commands, and His right-rulings, and His laws which I command you today,
Deu 8:12 lest you eat and shall be satisfied, and build lovely houses and shall dwell in them, Deu 8:13 and your herds and your flocks increase, and your silver and your gold are increased, and all that you have is increased,
Deu 8:14 that your heart then becomes lifted up, and you forget יהוה your Elohim who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of bondage, ……
I read one time that there are two opportunities to commit sin: When we are completely discouraged and it seems that we will not overcome. At this moment sin can trap somebody, because it looks that anyway, nothing will change. The second opportunity is as it is written in D’varim 8:14. When abundance comes man has the tendency to forget who brought him so far.
Not guarding His commands is a sign that we forget יהוה our Elohim…
Deu 8:15 who led you through that great and awesome wilderness – fiery serpents and scorpions and thirst – where there was no water, who brought water for you out of the flinty rock,
Deu 8:16 who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, in order to humble you and to try you, to do you good in the end, …….
We see here the clear purpose of this suffering: to humble and try us…….. Humble: Strong’s “ H6031 ânâh aw-naw'....... A primitive root (possibly rather identical with H6030 through the idea of looking down or browbeating); to depress literally or figuratively, transitively or intransitively (in various applications). (sing is by mistake for H6030.): - abase self, afflict (-ion, self), answer [by mistake for H6030], chasten self, deal hardly with, defile, exercise, force, gentleness, humble (self), hurt, ravish, sing [by mistake for H6030], speak [by mistake for H6030], submit self, weaken, X in any wise......... Try: Strong’s # 5254 nâsâh naw-saw'.....A primitive root; to test; by implication to attempt: - adventure, assay, prove, tempt, try.
We can read one of the most beautiful stories on “trying” when we read the life of Yosef the son of Ya’acov. Yosef was a dedicated man and the most loved of Ya’acov. יהוה knew that Yosef will have to go through trials and hardship in order to fulfil is call. Don’t be discouraged when trials and hardship come across your way. יהוה is still there and watch over your life. He has promise: “I will never leave you nor forsake you”! Halleluyah!
to do you good in the end”……… The final step is a full restoration “in the end”. Once we have been humbled, tested and fed on “manna” which is יהוה provision to his children, at the end will come to pass, that those having been faithful to the promise will enter the promise land, the “Millenium reign of Messiah”, on those days, no more pain, or cry, but the everlasting joy in the presence of the King of Kings!
1Pe 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of YHWH, that he may exalt you in due time:
1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1Pe 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 1Pe 5:10 but the Elohim of all favour, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Messiah Yehoshua, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
in due time (verse 6) — Wait humbly and patiently for His own fit time. One oldest manuscript and Vulgate read, “In the season of visitation,” namely, His visitation in mercy…..
Deu 8:17 you then shall say in your heart, ‘My power and the strength of my hand have made for me this wealth!’
Deu 8:18 “But you shall remember יהוה your Elohim, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, in order to establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is today.
Deu 8:19 “And it shall be, if you by any means forget יהוה your Elohim, and follow other mighty ones, and serve them and bow yourself to them, I have warned you this day that you shall certainly perish.
Deu 8:20 “Like the nations which יהוה is destroying before you, so you are to perish, because you did not obey the voice of יהוה your Elohim. …….
The great deception in mankind’s life is to forget that יהוה is the source of everything, of blessing and curses, of prosperity and lack, of good health and diseases. Some may say: “how can you say that יהוה is the source of diseases? Sorry, friends is not me who say that, it is יהוה himself….
Just read: Deu 32:39 ‘See now that I, I am He, and there is no Elohim besides Me. I put to death and I make alive. I have wounded, and I heal. And from My hand no one delivers!......
Today in the world around us, nations, rulers and government boast of their power and ability to overcome any situation. HaSatan is pushing them to glorify themselves, but we can see that the day is coming when they will be brought to judgement. Just observe the world’s actions today. Hidden behind sweet and swallowing words great declarations and actions the world government make its own way to establish the Kingdom of darkness, bring men unto bondage, under their own rules and laws Are you under יהוה protection or, are you still carnal sold under Satan wicked plan? Discuss what does it means to “serve יהוהaccording to the Torah!...........................
Chapter 9
Deu 9:1 “Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: You are passing over the Yardĕn today, to go in to dispossess nations greater and stronger than yourself, cities great and walled up to the heavens, ......
To pass over the Yarden: an Hebrew expression meaning to change the life style, going from doing our own will to follow יהוה way.....
Deu 9:2 a people great and tall, the descendants of the Anaqim, whom you know, and of whom you heard it said, ‘Who does stand before the descendants of Anaq*?’
*Anak: Anakim
an´a-kim (ענקים, ănāḳı̄m; Ἐνακίμ, Enakı́m, or Ἐνακείμ, Enakeı́m; also called “sons of Anak” (Num_13:33), and “sons of the Anakim” (Deu_1:28)): The spies (Num_13:33) compared them to the Nephilim or “giants” of Gen_6:4, and according to Deu_2:11 they were reckoned among the REPHAIM (which see). In Num_13:22 the chiefs of Hebron are said to be descendants of Anak, while “the father of Anak” is stated in Josh (Num_15:13; Num_21:11) to be Arba after whom Hebron was called “the city of Arba.” Josh “cut off the Anakim ... from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab,... and from all the hill-country of Israel,” remnants of them being left in the Philistine cities of Gaza, Gath and Ashdod (Jos_11:21, Jos_11:22). As compared with the Israelites, they were tall like giants (Num_13:33), and it would therefore seem that the “giant” Goliath and his family were of their race. At Hebron, at the time of the Israelite conquest, we may gather that they formed the body-guard of the Amorite king (see Jos_10:5) under their three leaders Sheshai, Ahiman and Talmai (Num_13:22; Jos_15:14; Jdg_1:20). Tell el-Amarna Letters show that the Canaanite princes were accustomed to surround themselves with bodyguards of foreign mercenaries. It appears probable that the Anakim came from the Aegean like the Philistines, to whom they may have been related. (ISBE)
Deu 9:3 “And you shall know today that יהוה your Elohim is He who is passing over before you as a consuming fire – He does destroy them and subdue them before you. So you shall dispossess them and destroy them quickly, as יהוה has said to you.
Deu 9:4 “Do not think in your heart, after יהוה your Elohim has driven them out before you, saying, ‘Because of my righteousness יהוה has brought me in to possess this land.’ But it is because of the wrong of these nations that יהוה is driving them out from before you.
Jas 4:6 But He gives greater favour. Because of this He says, “Elohim resists the proud, but gives favour to the humble.”................יהושע has become our righteousness
1Co 1:30 and of Him (Elohim) you are in Messiah יהושע, who became for us wisdom from Elohim, righteousness also, and set-apartness and redemption,………………
2Co 5:21 for He made Him (יהושע) who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of Elohim. ...............
Deu 9:5 “It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you go in to possess their land, but because of the wrong of these nations that יהוה your Elohim drives them out from before you, in order to establish the word which יהוה swore to your fathers, to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Yaʽaqoḇ. ………..
We should always have in mind that it is not what we have done which will change יהוה mind, but יהוה will perform everything what he promised to our forefather Abraham, Itzak, Ya’acov through יהושע HaMoschiach……
The wicked Balaam said; Elohim is not a man that he should lie nor the son of Adam, that he should change His mind (Badmidbar/Number 23:19). This is the difference between man and Elohim…….
Deu 9:6 “And you shall know that יהוה your Elohim is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness( once again),, for you are a stiff-necked people…….. Stiff-necked: Strong’s #H7186 קשׁה qâsheh kaw-sheh'
From H7185; severe (in various applications): - churlish, cruel, grievous, hard ([-hearted], thing), heavy, + impudent, obstinate, prevailed, rough (-ly), sore, sorrowful, stiff ([-necked]), stubborn, + in trouble.
Deu 9:7 “Remember, do not forget how you provoked to wrath יהוה your Elohim in the wilderness. From the day that you came out of the land of Mitsrayim until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against יהוה. Deu 9:8 “Even in Ḥorĕḇ you made יהוה wroth, so that יהוה was enraged with you, to destroy you.
Deu 9:9 “When I went up into the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant which יהוה made with you, then I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights. I did not eat bread nor did I drink water. Deu 9:10 “Then יהוה gave me the two tablets of stone written with the finger of Elohim, and on them were all the Words which יהוה had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly (Ex.19). Deu 9:11 “And it came to be, at the end of forty days and forty nights, that יהוה gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant. Deu 9:12 “Then יהוה said to me, ‘Arise, go down quickly from here, for your people whom you brought out of Mitsrayim have acted corruptly. They have quickly turned aside from the way which I commanded them, they have made themselves a moulded image.’
Deu 9:13 “And יהוה spoke to me, saying, ‘I have seen this people, and look, they are a stiff-necked people.
Deu 9:14 ‘Leave Me alone, so that I destroy them and blot out their name from under the heavens, and make of you a nation stronger and greater than they.’ Deu 9:15 “So I turned and came down from the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire. And the two tablets of the covenant were in my two hands.
Deu 9:16 “And I looked and saw that you had sinned against יהוה your Elohim, and had made for yourselves a molded calf! You had quickly turned aside from the way which יהוה had commanded you. Deu 9:17 “And I took the two tablets and threw them out of my two hands and broke them before your eyes, …..
The sin of golden calf is not only to make a golden calf to worship it; it is much more to turn back to former practices like the people from the world.Remember יהוה is Ruach and those who worship Him shall worship Him in the Ruach and in Truth (Torah).
Here comes the sign of what will come later. The two stone tablets represent the heart of the House of Israel and the house of Yehuda.
Eze 11:19 “And I shall give them one heart, and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, Eze 36:26 “And I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I shall give you a heart of flesh, Eze 36:27 and put My Spirit within you1. And I shall cause you to walk in My laws and guard My right-rulings and shall do them.
The children of Israel in the "Sod" represent the carnal nature in each of us. The change in our life came only after יהוה put His Ruach in us through our Master יהושע. No man can walk on יהוה's way without the Ruach HaQodesh leading him.
Joh 16:13 “But when He comes, the Spirit of the Truth, He shall guide you into all the truth (Torah). For He shall not speak from Himself, but whatever He hears He shall speak, and He shall announce to you what is to come.
In the verse 11 we read “יהוה gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant”.
The two tablets and the covenant are ONE, the commands were written on a stony ground which is a picture of the heart condition. A stony heart is a rebellious heart, a heart who does not submit to יהוה commands.
Can you explain in the light of this verse, what is the Christian’s condition today, are they following willingly יהוה or merely man’s tradition*. The more we walk in the Torah, the clearer it become that TORAH is bound to OBEDIENCE to יהוה’s commands following the example of our Master יהושע Messiah.
*Mat 15:3  But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of Elohim by your tradition?............................ Mat 15:6  And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of YHWH of none effect by your tradition.
Deu 9:18 “and I fell down before יהוה, as at the first, forty days and forty nights. I did not eat bread and I did not drink water, because of all your sins which you committed in doing evil in the eyes of יהוה, to provoke Him.
Deu 9:19 “For I was afraid of the displeasure and rage with which יהוה was wroth with you, to destroy you. But יהוה listened to me that time once more. Deu 9:20 “And יהוה was very enraged with Aharon, to destroy him, so I prayed for Aharon at that time also. Deu 9:21 “And I took your sin, the calf which you had made, and burned it with fire and crushed it and ground it very small, until it was as fine as dust. And I threw its dust into the stream that came down from the mountain. Deu 9:22 “And at Taḇʽĕrah and at Massah and at Qiḇroth Hatta’awah you made יהוה wroth. Deu 9:23 “And when יהוה sent you from Qaḏĕsh Barnĕa, saying, ‘Go up and possess the land which I have given you,’ then you rebelled against the mouth of יהוה your Elohim, and you neither trusted Him nor listened to His voice. Deu 9:24 “You have been rebellious against יהוה from the day that I knew you. Deu 9:25 “So I fell down before יהוה the forty days and forty nights, for I fell down because יהוה had said He would destroy you. Deu 9:26 “And I prayed to יהוה, and said, ‘O Master יהוה, do not destroy Your people and Your inheritance whom You have redeemed in Your greatness, whom You have brought out of Mitsrayim with a strong hand…Deu 9:27 ‘Remember your servants, Aḇraham, Yitsḥaq, and Yaʽaqoḇ. Do not look on the stubbornness of this people, or on their wrong or on their sin, Deu 9:28 lest the land from which You brought us should say, “Because יהוה was not able to bring them to the land which He promised them, and because He hated them, He has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness.” Deu 9:29 ‘And they are your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm.’ ….
18-29. We read about יהושע:
1Jn 2:1 My little children, I write this to you, so that you do not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Intercessor with the Father, יהושע Messiah, the righteous One. ……
יהושע like Moshe is an intercessor for יהוה people standing before the Father on our behalf. Before יהוה took hold on us, we were like our forefather, living in our own spiritual Egypt, feeding on doctrines of demons rebellious children who deserved punishment…..
Deu 10:1 “At that time יהוה said to me, ‘Hew for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and come up to Me on the mountain. and you shall make yourself an ark of wood, Deu 10:2 then I write on the tablets the Words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. And you shall put them in the ark.’…….
The ark is called “ark of the testimony” (Exo 25:16 and thou shalt putH5414 intoH413 the arkH727 (H853) the testimonyH5715 whichH834 I shall giveH5414 H413 thee.) ..........
The ark contains:
The two tablets representing the Ten Commandments, called Testimony…..
Exo 40:20 and he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:
Deu 10:3 “So I made an ark of acacia wood, hewed two tablets of stone like the first, and went up the mountain, with the two tablets in my hand.
Deu 10:4 “And He wrote on the tablets according to the first writing, the Ten Words, which יהוה had spoken to you in the mountain from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly. Then יהוה gave them to me, Deu 10:5 and I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made. And they are there, as יהוה commanded me.” Deu 10:6 Now the children of Yisra’ĕl set out from the wells of Benĕi Yaʽaqan to Mosĕrah. Aharon died there, and he was buried there. And Elʽazar his son became priest in his place. Moserah: Strong’s # H4149 môsêrâh  môserôth mo-say-raw', mo-ser-othe'...... Feminine of H4147; correction or corrections; Moserah or Moseroth, a place in the Desert: - Mosera, Moseroth...... H4147 môsêr môsêrâh  môserâh mo-sare', mo-say-raw', mo-ser-aw'......
From H3256; properly chastisement, that is, (by implication) a halter; figuratively restraint: - band, bond..... This part of our midrash concerning the way in the wilderness. We see again how the Hebrew name is closely attached to the situation.....
Aharon died in Moserah! The place meaning chastisement! We can ponder about the situation...... Verse 4 “He wrote on the tablets according to the first writing, the Ten Words”. Have you ever ask yourself what Sha’ul was writing to the Romans:
Rom 2:11 for there is no partiality with Elohim. Rom 2:12 for as many as sinned without Torah shall also perish without Torah, and as many as sinned in the Torah shall be judged by the Torah. Rom 2:13 for not the hearers of the Torah are righteous in the sight of Elohim, but the doers of the Torah shall be declared right. Footnote: 1Mt. 7:21-27, James 2:14-24. Rom 2:14 For when gentiles (nations), who do not have the Torah, by nature do what is in the Torah, although not having the Torah, they are a Torah to themselves, Rom 2:15 who show the work of the Torah written in their hearts (unbelievers!), their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or even excusing, Rom 2:16 in the day when Elohim shall judge the secrets of men through יהושע Messiah, according to my Good News. ….
We know that the “Ten commands” are not all the Torah but the foundation of it. The Ten commands are build on two parts, the first five concerning the relationship between man toward Elohim, (D'varim 6:5) the five last between man and his neighbor (Vayiqra:Lev.19:18)
They are many commentaries on Sha’ul verses. We see in the world today, how many among the nations do things which are in the “Ten commands” showing the “work of the Torah written in their heart”, you shall not kill, you shall not steal, you shall not covet, you shall not commit adultery, whereby the last one has become obsolete nowadays, people live in a fake relationship, avoiding marriage, living in fornication, even without knowledge of it.
Even governments use these commands from the Torah to establish their own fundamental laws.
Deu 10:7 from there they set out to Guḏgoḏah, and from Guḏgoḏah to Yotḇathah, a land of rivers of water. ……..
Gudgodah: Strong’s # 1412 gûdgôdâh gud-go'-daw.....by reduplication from H1413 (in the sense of cutting) cleft; Gudgodah, a place in the Desert: - Gudgodah...... H1413 gâdad gaw-dad'..... A primitive root (compare H1461); to crowd; also to gash (as if by pressing into): - assemble (selves by troops), gather (selves together, self in troops), cut selves.....
Yotbatha: Strong’s # H3192. yoṭbâh yot-baw'....From H3190; pleasantness; Jotbah, a place in Palestine: - Jotbah.......
Remember after the Golden calf, Moshe called the Levite and they slain those who sin by taking part on the golden calf.....
Now they leave the place of chastisement to press into a new direction......
Deu 10:8 at that time יהוה separated the tribe of Lĕwi to bear the ark of the covenant of יהוה, to stand before יהוה, to serve Him, and to bless in His Name, to this day. Deu 10:9 Therefore Lĕwi has neither portion nor inheritance with his brothers. יהוה is his inheritance, as יהוה your Elohim promised him.
Right after the Golden Calf, יהוה took the Levite to serve Him. First we had the First born, but now the Levite will be between the children of Israel (carnal man) and Elohim. No man will approach Elohim on his own. The service of the Tabernacle was established after the golden calf and pointed to the work of Messiah who will come to change the carnal man into a living spiritual man. In different Parasha I have already show how the sacrifices in details point to the work of Messiah…..
Deu 10:10 “And I stayed in the mountain for forty days and forty nights. And יהוה heard me at that time also, and יהוה chose not to destroy you. ……
Forty, the number forty is the number for: Test, trial and super natural change…………
Deu 10:11 “And יהוה said to me, ‘Arise, go before the people, to set out, and let them go in and possess the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.’ Deu 10:12 “And now, Yisra’ĕl, what is יהוה your Elohim asking of you, but to fear יהוה your Elohim, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, and to serve יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being, 1Jn 5:2 by this we know that we love the children of YHWH, when we love YHWH, and keep his commandments.
1Jn 5:3 for this is the love of YHWH, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. …….
The word fear is strong’s # 3372 yârê' yaw-ray'...........A primitive root; to fear; morally to revere; causatively to frighten: - affright, be (make) afraid, dread (-ful), (put in) fear (-ful, -fully, -ing). (be had in) reverence (-end), X see, terrible (act, -ness, thing)......
The “Tanak” tell us that the “fear” of יהוה is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Qadosh One is understanding:
Pro 9:10 The fear of יהוה is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Set-apart One is understanding…
Pro 1:7 the fear of יהוה is the beginning of knowledge1; Fools despise wisdom and discipline…..
Deu 10:13 to guard the commands of יהוה and His laws which I command you today for your good?
Compare:
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love for Elohim, that we guard His commands,1 and His commands are not heavy.............
Deu 10:14 “See, the heavens and the heaven of heavens belong to יהוה your Elohim, also the earth with all that is in it. Deu 10:15יהוה delighted only in your fathers (Abraham, Itzahk, Ya’acov), to love them. And He chose their seed after them, you above all peoples1, as it is today. Footnote: 1See also 7:6, 14:2, 26:18, Ps. 135:4 and Amos 3:2…..
Deu 10:16 “And you shall circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and harden your neck no more. Deu 10:17 “For יהוה your Elohim is Elohim of mighty ones and Master of masters, the great Ěl, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe. Deu 10:18 “He executes right-ruling for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and a garment. Deu 10:19 “And you shall love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Mitsrayim. ………………
יהוה remind the children of Israel (carnal man) that they were also stranger in Mitzrayim and יהוה had compassion to their cry and condition, and delivered them from oppression. This comes just after having told them to circumcise the foreskin of their heart!  The circumcision of the heart is done in Messiah, when we follow the Torah.
Col 2:11 in whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of the Messiah: …………. Verse 17. Compare with what Yochanan write in the book of Revelation:
Rev 19:11 and I saw the heaven opened, and there was a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Trustworthy and True, and in righteousness He judges and fights.1 Footnote: 1See Acts 10:42.
Rev 19:12 And His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns, having a Name that had been written, which no one had perceived except Himself1 – Footnote: 1See 2:17.
Rev 19:13 and having been dressed in a robe dipped in blood – and His Name is called: The Word of יהוה.1 Footnote: 1John 1:1 & 14.
Rev 19:14 and the armies in the heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
Rev 19:15 and out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations. And He shall shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Ěl Shaddai.
Rev 19:16 and on His robe and on His thigh (banner)1 He has a name written: SOVEREIGN OF SOVEREIGNS (King of Kings) AND MASTER OF MASTERS. Footnote: 1See Explanatory notes under Thigh. ……
On the word “thigh” we can see how scribes may have brought errors in their copies, below the pertinent explanation from “scriptures 1998”…………
Thigh........... Here we have a strong indication of Revelation originally being written in Hebrew. If this word was written in Hebrew, it would have been ragel. It’s possible though, that the copiers of Revelation could have overlooked the small extension on the dalet ( ד ), which would have made it a resh ( ר ). If the word was “dagel”, it would have meant “banner”, which makes much more sense than “thigh”, because in the latter case two rules are broken:--- (1) In Way. 19:28 / Lev_19:28 we are forbidden to make tattoo’s on our bodies………. (2) A person whose thigh was exposed was considered naked. See Mar_14:51, Shem. 28:42 / Exo_28:42, Way. 16:4 / Lev_16:4. When Revelation was copied it would have been easy to see the Hebrew “d” ( ד  ) as a “r” ( ר  ), if the former was not carefully written down. As the Hebrew script developed, the dalet and the resh, especially from around 700 BCE and onwards looked almost identical. It is also contrary to His dress in Rev_1:13. It also seems that Messiah, when he appeared to his followers He spoke Hebrew, even though they could understand Greek very well (Act_26:14). …… Deu 10:20 “Fear יהוה your Elohim. Serve Him, and cling to Him, and swear by His Name. Deu 10:21 “He is your praise, and He is your Elohim, who has done for you these great and awesome deeds which your eyes have seen. …..
Deu 10:22 “Your fathers went down to Mitsrayim with seventy beings, and now YHWH your Elohim has made you as numerous as the stars of the heavens. …..
Chapter 11
Deu 11:1 “And you shall love יהוה your Elohim and guard His Charge1: even His laws, and His right-rulings, and His commands, always. Footnote: 1See Gen. 26:5………
Statutes: Strong’ s# H2708 chûqqâh khook-kaw'…………… Feminine of H2706, and meaning substantially the same: - appointed, custom, manner, ordinance, site, statute.............
Right-rulings: Strong’s # mishpâṭ mish-pawt'
From H8199; properly a verdict (favorable or unfavorable) pronounced judicially, especially a sentence or formal decree (human or (particularly) divine law, individual or collectively), including the act, the place, the suit, the crime, and the penalty; abstractly justice, including a particular right, or privilege (statutory or customary), or even a style: -  + adversary, ceremony, charge, X crime, custom, desert, determination, discretion, disposing, due, fashion, form, to be judged, judgment, just (-ice, -ly), (manner of) law (-ful), manner, measure, (due) order, ordinance, right, sentence, usest, X worthy, + wrong.
H8199 shâphaṭ shaw-fat'.......... A primitive root; to judge, that is, pronounce sentence (for or against); by implication to vindicate or punish; by extension to govern; passively to litigate (literally or figuratively): -  + avenge, X that condemn, contend, defend, execute (judgment), (be a) judge (-ment), X needs, plead, reason, rule.
Commands: Strong’s # H 4687 mitsvâh mits-vaw'....................... From H6680; a command, whether human or divine (collectively the Law): - (which was) commanded (-ment), law, ordinance, precept.
The Torah is divided in three groups of commandments: a) Ordinances and customs, b) right ruling and c) the precepts or moral commandments; all making the body of the Torah. What are we doing today? Are we just picking out, what we like and forget the other, or do we give ourselves to do diligently what we learn?
Deu 11:2 “And you shall know today – for it is not your children who have not known and who have not seen the discipline of יהוה your Elohim, His greatness, His strong hand and His outstretched arm, Deu 11:3 and His signs, and His works which He had done in the midst of Mitsrayim, to Pharaoh sovereign of Mitsrayim, and to all his land; Deu 11:4 and that which He had done to the army of Mitsrayim, to their horses and their chariots, when He made the waters of the Sea of Reeds overflow them as they pursued you, and how יהוה has destroyed them to this day; Deu 11:5 and what He had done for you in the wilderness till you came to this place; Deu 11:6 and what He had done to Dathan and Aḇiram the sons of Eliyaḇ, son of Re’uḇĕn, when the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the living creatures that were in their possession, in the midst of all Yisra’ĕl. Deu 11:7 “For yours are the eyes that saw all the great work of יהוה, which He did. Deu 11:8 “And you shall guard every command which I command you today, so that you are strong, and shall go in, and shall possess the land which you are passing over to possess, To keep the command equal to be strong! --- Deu 11:9 and to prolong your days in the land which יהוה swore to give your fathers, to them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey. … Deu 11:10 “For the land which you are going in to possess is not like the land of Mitsrayim from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot, as a vegetable garden, Deu 11:11 but the land which you are passing over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of the heavens, Deu 11:12 a land which יהוה your Elohim looks after. The eyes of יהוה your Elohim are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the latter end of the year.
Eretz Israel, the land of Israel is the land יהוה gave to our forefathers Abraham, Itzahk and Ya’acov, and He will fulfill his promise when the time comes for the resurrection, our forefathers will see that יהוה as done what he promised long ago. It is amazing to see today that nations try to divide Israel and give one part to the Palestinians under the wicked argumentation of “humanism”. The Land belongs to our forefathers, to you and me, when our Master יהושע comes back, he will restore everything and the all world will see that יהוה is Elohim over the all world. Israel, the land is everyday in the world news, so a small country, it doesn’t pass one day, without Israel been mentioned in the news, but read:
Zec 12:2 See, I am making Yerushalayim a cup of reeling* to all the people all around, and also against Yehuḏah it is in the siege against Yerushalayim. Zec 12:3 “And in that day it shall be that I make Yerushalayim a very heavy stone for all peoples – all lifting it are severely injured. And all the nations of the earth shall be gathered against it.
·                 Can it be read also “cup of poison” or “cup of slumber” or “cup of trembling”
·                 Since many years rulers from the nations have forced the secular leaders from Israel to make a peace accord with the Palestinians, ignoring what יהוה has already decreed. Israel will be back in the hand of Messiah יהושע and the all House of Ya’acov (Luke 1:33)
Deu 11:13 ‘And it shall be that if you diligently obey My commands which I command you today, to love יהוה your Elohim and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your being, Deu 11:14 then I shall give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, and you shall gather in your grain, and your new wine, and your oil. Deu 11:15 ‘And I shall give grass in your fields for your livestock, and you shall eat and be satisfied. Deu 11:16 ‘Guard yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other mighty ones and bow down to them. Deu 11:17 ‘Then the displeasure of יהוה shall burn against you, and He shall shut up the heavens, and there be no rain, and the land not give its increase. And you shall perish quickly from the good land which יהוה is giving you. ……………… In agriculture rain bring growth and abundance יהוה made the promise that he will care for rain if the children of Israel (carnal man) keep the commands, but if they refuse, he will shut the heavens. Today people try to avoid these problems with irrigation, telling others that the climate change, but they never ask why the climate is changing!................ Because of the rebellion of the Levites the prophet Malachi wrote:………….
Mal 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith YHWH of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing (aboundance of rain in the season), that there shall not be room enough to receive it. ………..
Deu 11:18 ‘And you shall lay up these Words1 of Mine in your heart and in your being, and shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. Footnote: 1See footnote at 5:22……………. The hand is the center of our action “between the eye” we find the brain, the center of the will of man. Knowing this we can read a verse which has been many time misinterpreted: --- Rev 13:16 and he causes all, both small and great, and rich and poor, and free and slave, to be given a mark upon their right hand or upon their foreheads, ............Actions speak greater than words!
Deu 11:19 ‘And you shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up, It is the responsibility of the father and the mother (not of the Elder or the pastor) to raise “godly” children, to educate them in the way they will one day walk. Unfortunately, today we see many youth and adolescents having been fed on the world system, they don’t know anything from the Torah having lost respect walking in debauchery and idle way. They look for pleasure and immoral behaviors. We must teach our children in order to help them to find the good way of Torah:
Pro 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he turns not away from it.
Pro 22:15 folly is bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of discipline drives it far from him.
Pro 29:15 a rod and reproof give wisdom, But a child unrestrained brings shame to his mother.
Deu 11:20 and shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,
A “mezuzah” hangs on the doorpost of believers as reminder that the Torah rules over the house, it is also a sign for the strangers who come to visit the family………
Deu 11:21 so that your days and the days of your children are increased on the soil of which יהוה swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens on the earth. Deu 11:22 ‘For if you diligently guard all these commands which I command you, to do it, to love יהוה your Elohim, to walk in all His ways, and to cling to Him, Deu 11:23 then יהוה shall drive out all these nations before you, and you shall dispossess greater and stronger nations than you. Deu 11:24 ‘Every place on which the sole of your foot treads is yours: from the wilderness, and Leḇanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea is your border. Deu 11:25 ‘No man shall stand against you. יהוה your Elohim shall put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, as He has spoken to you.
Haftorah
The language here was suggested, doubtless, by a view of the desolations of Jerusalem and Judea, and of the long and painful captivity in Babylon; but it is general, and is applicable to the people of God, in all times of similar oppression and distress.(Albert barnes)..... Tsiyon, is here another name for Israel and so come the reply from the prophet “would a woman forget her nursing child”……..
I יהוה never forget you! What a statement “I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands”.
The promise is written in יהוה hands and nothing will change it. The prophet Yeshayahu bring hope to Israel... Whenever doubt or fear comes upon us, we should read those words and remember:” Let him trust in the Name of יהוה and lean upon his Elohim…. For יהוה has promise and he will perform it!
Isa 49:14 but Tsiyon (Jerusalem) says, “יהוה has forsaken me, and יהוה has forgotten me.” Isa 49:15 “Would a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Though they forget, I never forget you. Isa 49:16 “See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are always before Me. Isa 49:17 “Your sons shall hurry, your destroyers and those who laid you waste depart from you. Isa 49:18 “Lift up your eyes roundabout and see, all of them gather together and come to you. As I live,” declares יהוה, “you shall put on all of them as an ornament, and bind them on you as a bride does. Isa 49:19 “For your wastes, and your deserted places, and the land of your destruction, shall soon be too narrow for the inhabitants, while those who swallowed you up are far away. Isa 49:20 “The sons of your bereavement shall yet say in your ears, ‘The place is too narrow for me, make room for me to live.’ Isa 49:21 “And you shall say in your heart, ‘Who has brought forth these for me, since I am bereaved and barren, an exile, and wandering to and fro? And who reared them? See, I was left alone – from where did these come?’ ” Isa 49:22 Thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I lift My hand up to the gentiles, and set up My banner for the peoples; and they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters carried on their shoulders; Isa 49:23 “And sovereigns shall be your foster fathers, and their sovereignesses your nursing mothers. They bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet. And you shall know that I am יהוה – those who wait for Me shall not be ashamed.” Isa 49:24 Is prey taken from the mighty, and the captives of the righteous delivered? Isa 49:25 Yet thus said יהוה, “Even the captives of the mighty is taken away, and the prey of the ruthless is delivered; and I strive with him who strives with you, and I save your children. Isa 49:26 “And I shall feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, and let them drink their own blood as sweet wine. All flesh shall know that I, יהוה, am your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Elohim of Yaʽaqoḇ.” Isa 50:1 thus says יהוה, “Where is the certificate of your mother’s divorce, whom I have put away? Or which of My creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Lhook, you were sold for your crookedness’s, and your mother was put away for your transgressions. Isa 50:2 “When I came, why was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Was My hand too short to redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? See, by My rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness; their fish stink for there is not water, and die of thirst. Isa 50:3 “I clothe the heavens with darkness, and I make sackcloth their covering.” Isa 50:4 the Master יהוה has given Me the tongue of taught ones, that I should know to help the weary with a word. He wakes Me morning by morning, he wakes My ear to hear as taught ones. Isa 50:5 the Master יהוה has opened My ear, and I was not rebellious, nor did I turn away. Isa 50:6 I gave My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard, I did not hide My face from humiliation and spitting. Isa 50:7 and the Master יהוה helps Me, therefore I shall not be humiliated. So I have set My face like a flint, and I know that I am not put to shame. Isa 50:8 near is He who declares Me right. Who would contend with Me? Let us stand together. Who is My adversary? Let him come near Me. Isa 50:9 see, the Master יהוה helps Me. Who would declare Me wrong? See, all of them wear out like a garment, a moth eats them. Isa 50:10 Who among you is fearing יהוה, obeying the voice of His Servant, that has walked in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the Name of יהוה and lean upon his Elohim! Isa 50:11 See, all you who light a fire, girding on burning arrows: walk in the light of your fire and in the burning arrows you have lit. From My hand you shall have this: you shall lie down in grief!
Sha’ul write to those who are the call (verse 28) to confirm that יהוה stand firm and that nothing can change the love of Elohim toward those who are called, neither death, nor life, nor messengers, nor principalities (that Is the power of darkness), nor the present or what will come in the future (that is today), nor depth or height of anything. For the Love of יהוה is found in Messiah יהושע!
Rom 8:31 What then shall we say to this? If Elohim is for us, who is against us? Rom 8:32 Truly, He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up on behalf of us all – how shall He not, along with Him, freely give us all else? Rom 8:33 who shall bring any charge against Elohim’s chosen ones? It is Elohim who is declaring right. ..... Rom 8:34 who is he who is condemning? It is Messiah who died, and furthermore is also raised up, who is also at the right hand of Elohim, who also makes intercession for us. ..............; Rom 8:35 who shall separate us from the love of the Messiah? Shall pressure, or distress, or persecution, or scarcity of food, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?Rom 8:36 as it has been written, “For Your sake we are killed all day long, we are reckoned as sheep of slaughter.” Rom 8:37 but in all this we are more than overcomers through Him who loved us. Rom 8:38 for I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor messengers nor principalities nor powers, neither the present nor the future,
Rom 8:39 nor height nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of Elohim which is in Messiah יהושע our Master.
May יהושע bless you and keep you through Messiah יהושע , as you walk in His way and keep the Torah with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
