Daniel ben Ya’acov Israel

The desire to "bring God into every aspect of our lives" and thus "conform us to His image" may be described in terms of "unifying the Name of God" in our lives. What will one day occur on a global level (i.e., Zechariah 14:9 - "in that day His Name will be One") is something we can experience on an individual level, by bringing God into even the most mundane aspects of our existence. This is accomplished by learning Torah at deeper and deeper levels, which enables us to "fashion a Torah response" to EVERYTHING that God puts into our lives.
Thus the "spiritual high" of Mount Sinai, found in last week's parsha is followed by the "down to earth" commands in this week's. (We go from the lofty "Thou shall not steal," to instructions on prosecuting a thief!) True spirituality does not come from retreating away from life to some mountaintop or cave. We are to grapple with life's every day situations in such a way that we elevate them to a higher spiritual state. Hebraic writings speak of   "internalizing" and "absorbing" the commands of Torah into our very bones. This same idea is reflected in the words of Yeshua when he said we are to "eat his flesh and drink his blood" (John 6:22-58), making the Torah as much of our very being as flesh and blood is. He came to teach these aspects of Torah, "fulfilling the Torah" (Matthew 5:17-21), which means to teach it correctly. He criticized those who failed to realize (and teach) this true inner dimension of the Torah (i.e., Matthew 23:23-28).(Yashanet on Parasha Mishpatim).
The Children of Israel are now in the third month of their departure from Mitzrayim (Egypt), remember the purpose to bring them into the wilderness was to serve יהוה Elohim, a way they don't know and had never experienced before. They were many centuries enslaved in Mitzrayim but in spite of that had accommodated with their situation. This is a similar situation we experience today in the world, our spiritual Mitzrayim (Egypt). I remind you that the word Mitzrayim is not the translation for Egypt but means oppression and confinement.
In the former parasha we saw the Children of Israel standing with Moshe at the foot of Mount Sinai with fear, saying to Moshe: Exo 20:19 and they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not Elohim speak with us, lest we die. - Thus making Moshe their "head", "speak you with us, and we will hear: but let not Elohim speak with us, lest we die". They were so filled with fear that they couldn't stand in יהוה presence, what does Yochanan says concerning fear? 1Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. --- Fear is the antithesis of love, why did the Children of Israel fear Elohim presence, had he not just three month ago delivered them from their long bondage? Today many people in the world know about G-d, but only with fear (i.e. when disaster come they run to the "church"), love is directly connected with obedience to the Torah! Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 1Jn 5:2 by this we know that we love the children of YHWH, when we love YHWH, and keep his commandments.--- A nation needs rules in order to be united, in every country there is a body of laws called constitution. These fundamental laws differ from country to country. יהוה will now give a body of mishpatim to the Children of Israel, not to the Jews as many like to say! The Hebrew word mishpatim is given by Stong's concordance so: Judgment: H4941 משׁפּט , mishpâṭ (singular) mish-pawt'   From H8199; properly a verdict (favorable or unfavorable) pronounced judicially, especially a sentence or formal decree (human or (particularly) divine law, individual or collectively), including the act, the place, the suit, the crime, and the penalty; abstractly justice, including a particular right, or privilege (statutory or customary), or even a style: -  + adversary, ceremony, charge, X crime, custom, desert, determination, discretion, disposing, due, fashion, form, to be judged, judgment, just (-ice, -ly), (manner of) law (-ful), manner, measure, (due) order, ordinance, right, sentence, usest, X worthy, + wrong.........................Brown, Driver Brigg give following:BDB Definition:
1) Judgment, justice, ordinance 1a) judgment  1a1) act of deciding a case  1a2) place, court, seat of judgment
1a3) process, procedure, litigation (before judges)  1a4) case, cause (presented for judgment)
1a5) sentence, decision (of judgment)........I found in the Collin dictionary following definition:
Ordinance: an authoritative regulation, decree, law, or practice .  Authoritative regulation, decree, law or practice! This sound to me like a "national constitution regulation", by which the Children of Israel will be rule..Exo 21:1 Now these are the judgments which thou (Moshe) shalt set before them.
There is no alternative of choice given to the Children of Israel! This is fundamental and necessary to understand, many believers today don't even know how to behave, just because they don't know the Torah!
But see what יהוה say to parents: Deu 6:6 and these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: Deu 6:7 and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
If we want to have godly children, the only way is to teach them Torah:  Pro 22:6 Train up a child in the way (Torah) he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. .....This is how the way to educate our children, just to teach them everyday on the Torah, but for that we need to be well trained in a Torah attitude!
Let us read again; today’s Parasha bring us to the “Mishpatim”, the divine Ordinances for the Children of Israel. The “Scriptures” translation renders it “right ruling”, The King James with “Judgment”. Let see the again the Hebrew definition before we go further: Ordinances/Judgment: Strong’s #H 4941משׁפּט mishpâṭ mish-pawt'written, mem, shin, peh, tet. From H8199; properly a verdict (favourable or unfavourable) pronounced judicially, especially a sentence or formal decree (human or (particularly) divine law, individual or collectively), including the act, the place, the suit, the crime, and the penalty; abstractly justice, including a particular right, or privilege (statutory or customary), or even a style: -  + adversary, ceremony, charge, X crime, custom, desert, determination, discretion, disposing, due, fashion, form, to be judged, judgment, just (-ice, -ly), (manner of) law (-ful), manner, measure, (due) order, ordinance, right, sentence, usest, X worthy, + wrong.
From: H8199. shâphaṭ shaw-fat'.      A primitive root; to judge, that is, pronounce sentence (for or against); by implication to vindicate or punish; by extension to govern; passively to litigate (literally or figuratively): -  + avenge, X that condemn, contend, defend, execute (judgment), (be a) judge (-ment), X needs, plead, reason, rule.
This is amazing in two ways and you will see how Christianity has put to naught the Name of יהוה by rejecting the Torah.  ................ First if you look carefully, you will see that in the world governments have make use many of this “mispathim”, and make out of them their own legal laws to rule their country, but today reject Elohim’s authority over man’s life.  We also will understand why it was and why is it still required to study the Torah. The chapter 21 – 23 included, are quoted by יהושע in the book of Mattityahu when the Pharisee came to יהושע asking what the Great Commandment is, he answer:  Mat 22:37 and יהושע said to him, “‘You shall love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind.’  Mat 22:38 “This is the first and great command. …….. יהושע didn’t stop there but went further:  Mat 22:39 “And the second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ Mat 22:40On these two commands hang all the Torah and the Prophets.” ......................יהושע says that on these two commandments “hang” or are suspended the Torah and the Prophets.  The “Mishpatim” are direct connected to Love יהוה with all our heart and with all our being, and with our mind and to love our neighbour as ourselves.  In the former parasha we have seen the structure of the Ten Commandments, the first part been our love for יהוה the second part how to love our neighbours. We are going to go through the “Mishpatim” and see how they apply to our life!  How is it possible that Christianity claims only TWO COMMANDMENTS and rejects the Torah? Apostasy has been proclaimed by Sha'ul (Paul):
2Th 2:3 let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away (Greek apostasia) first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  First a falling away or apostasia, but what is apostasia? -- Falling away: Strong's #G646 ἀποστασία Apostasia ap-os-tas-ee'-ah
Feminine of the same as G647; defection from truth (properly the state), (“apostasy”): - falling away, forsake.
Defection from the truth, forsake! What is the defection of the truth or to forsake?......יהושע says that the truth is יהוה' Word: Joh 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth......Which word?  -- Psa 119:89 for ever, O YHWH, thy word is settled in heaven. Psa 119:142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting  righteousness, and thy law (Torah) is the truth. No doubt that יהושע spoke concerning the Torah.
In this place we should remind ourselves that the Hebrew word Torah has not the same meaning than the traditional used law! Torah: Strong's #H8451 תּורה tôrâh to-raw', '   From H3384; a precept or statute, especially the Decalogue or Pentateuch: - law  H3384 yârâ' yaw-raw',.  A primitive root; properly to flow as water (that is, to rain); transitively to lay or throw (especially an arrow, that is, to shoot); figuratively to point out (as if by aiming the finger), to teach: -  (+) archer, cast, direct, inform, instruct, lay, shew, shoot, teach (-er, -ing), through.....................We see that the meaning is more positive if we use it in its original purpose!
21: 1-11. It was courant that people “sold” themselves when they were not able to pay back their debtor. A detail is to be stretch out, this "mishpatim" concern the Children of Israel, a brother...
Exo 21:2 if thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go.  The detail is given in D'varim (Deuteronome) Deu 15:12 and if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.....We see the clarity with which Elohim speak, we are all one body on Spiritual House and thus Torah is our instruction, teaching, for a righteous life! Here we have clear rules how life should be, and behaviour for both sides. Servants or slaves had also rights to be respected. We will see that the Children of Israel neglected and even forgot this “Mishpatim” and brought evil upon themselves after the Prophets had warned them:  First the book of Vayiqrah gives us understanding concerning the servant position and the cause of his position witch is financial:  Lev 25:39And when your brother who dwells by you becomes poor, and sells himself to you, do not make him serve as a slave.
A brother should not be made a slave! To be poor do not give right to a fellow for false treatments.
Jer 34:13 “Thus said יהוה the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, ‘I Myself made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage, saying,  Jer 34:14 “At the end of seven years each one should set free his Heḇrew brother (neighbour), who has been sold to him. And when he has served you six years, you shall let him go free from you.” But your fathers did not obey Me nor incline their ear.  Jer 34:15And you recently turned and did what was right in My eyes, each man proclaiming release (liberty) to his neighbour. And you made a covenant before Me in the house which is called by My Name.  Jer 34:16But you turned back and profaned My Name, and each one of you took back his male and female slaves, whom he had set free, at their pleasure, and brought them into subjection, to be your male and female slaves (servant).’  Jer 34:17 “Therefore thus said יהוה, ‘You have not obeyed Me in proclaiming release, each one to his brother and each one to his neighbor. See, I am proclaiming release to you,’ declares יהוה, ‘to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the scarcity of food! And I shall make you a horror to all reigns of the earth.  The King James quotes the verse 17: Jer 34:17  ThereforeH3651 thusH3541 saithH559 YHWH;H3068 YeH859 have notH3808 hearkenedH8085 untoH413 me, in proclaimingH7121 liberty,H1865 every oneH376 to his brother,H251 and every manH376 to his neighbour:H7453 behold,H2009 I proclaimH7121 a libertyH1865 for you, saithH5002 YHWH,H3068 toH413 the sword,H2719 toH413 the pestilence,H1698 and toH413 the famine;H7458 and I will makeH5414 you to be removedH2189 into allH3605 the kingdomsH4467 of the earth.H776 .................Now we will compare with what יהושע said in the Synagogue:   Luk 4:17 and the scroll of the prophet Yeshayahu was handed to Him. And having unrolled the scroll, He found the place where it was written: Luk 4:18 The Spirit of יהוה is upon Me,1 because He has anointed Me to bring the Good News to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim release (liberty) to the captives (servants) and recovery of sight to the blind, to send away crushed ones with a release, Footnote: 1Isa. 61:1-3.Luk 4:19 to proclaim the acceptable year of יהוה.”1 Footnote: 1Isa. 61:1-2.
Luk 4:20 and having rolled up the scroll, He gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all in the congregation were fixed upon Him. Luk 4:21 and He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been filled in your hearing.”...
Can you see that יהושע came to restore what was broken and to bring us back to the Torah's instructions? Unfortunately until today many abuse others having made them “spiritual slave”, abusing them also with indecent loan and work conditions……………As Keil and Delitzsch mention this “Mishpatim” or “Right ruling” where only address to those belonging to the Children of Israel, verse 1, Hebrew, and the term “brother” in:
Deu 15:12 “When your brother is sold to you, a Heḇrew man or a Heḇrew woman, and shall serve you six years, then let him go free from you in the seventh year. ...............Servants and slave had “rights”
What was the "to send away crushed ones with a release"? ….Deu 15:1 at the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release. Deu 15:2 and this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called YHWH's release.Deu 15:3 of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;......Release: Strong's #G8059 שׁמטּה shemiṭṭâh. BDB Definition:  1) Letting drop of exactions, (temporary) remitting, release (from debt) ................Release from debt on the seventh years!  יהושע says: " Today this Scripture has been filled in your hearing.” …
It is well understood by scholars that this year was a shemitah year there are other verses in different place who confirm that יהושע was placing the shemitah years to proclaim release to everyman. On this day was read the Haftorah from Yeshayahu (Isaiah) read during the year of release (shemitah).  During יהושע' time, Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) was under the Romans control and the Pharisee were the leading group in Israel with some of the Sadducee who built the Sanhedrin the ruler's body of Israel concerning the Torah. Jews had the liberty to keep Torah and rules attached to it, like paying the Temple Tax and others.  The Pharisee developed their tradition with the return to Yerushalayim under Nehemayahu (Nehemiah) and Ezra. In יהושע' time this rules had become a bondage to the people, a heavy yoke, the Pahrisee claiming their privileges given by Moshe as they liked to say:  Mat 23:1 Then spake Yehoshua to the multitude, and to his disciples, Mat 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: ...
The Pharisee were the forerunners of the Rabies today! יהושע transferred the authority to Kefa (Peter): Mat 16:16 and Simon Kepha answered and said, Thou art the Messiah, the Son of the living Elohim. Mat 16:17 and Yehoshua answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Mat 16:18 and I say also unto thee, that thou art Kepha, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Mat 16:19 and I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. ...............In Hebrew thoughts it is called: Halacha or how to interpret the Torah's instructions. Christians have taken this verse to bind every kind of demons! We have an example of Halacha in the Book of Acts:
Act 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is,(my decision) that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to YHWH:Act 15:20 but that we write unto them,
- 1. that they abstain from pollutions of idols,  -3.  and from fornication,  -3.  and from things strangled,
- 4. and from blood...
Act 15:21 for Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day...
We see here how Ya'acov יהושע' brother who was in charge in Yerushlayim gave the Halacha to the Apostles concerning the New converted to the Torah.  Four things were first required in order to be accepted in the community of Israel all other things, mishpatim, and commandments would be learned during the Shabbat:Act 15:21 for Moses of old time (Torah) hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day.
21:6…… and his master shall pierce his ear with an awl. And he shall serve him forever.
Keil and Delitzsch give following explanation: His ear was then to be bored with an awl against the door or lintel of the house, and by this sign, which was customary in many of the nations of antiquity, to be fastened as it were to the house for ever. That this was the meaning of the piercing of the ear against the door of the house, is evident from the unusual expression in Deu_15:17, “and put (the awl) into his ear and into the door, that he may be thy servant for ever,” where the ear and the door are co-ordinates. “For ever,” i.e., as long as he lives. Josephus and the Rabbins would restrict the service to the time ending with the year of jubilee, but without sufficient reason, and contrary to the usage of the language, as לְעֹלָם is used in Lev_25:46 to denote service which did not terminate with the year of jubilee. (See the remarks on Lev_25:10; also my Archäologie.)
Deu 15:17 then you shall take an awl and thrust it through his ear to the door, and he shall be your servant forever. Do the same to your female servant..................;Servant and slaves under Messiah Yehoshua:
1Co 7:20 Let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called. 1Co 7:21 were you called while a slave? It matters not to you, but if you are able to become free too, rather use it. 1Co 7:22 for he who is called in the Master while a slave (servant) is the Master’s freed man. Likewise he who is called while free is a slave (servant) of Messiah.1 Footnote: 1Eph. 6:6, 1 Peter 2:16.........יהושע was also a servant:
Mat 12:18 “See, My Servant whom I (YHWH) have chosen, My Beloved in whom My being did delight. I shall put My Spirit upon Him, and He shall declare right-ruling to the nations. ................In the Sod of the Tree of Life for those having a bit notion on the Mystery of the Torah, going from “Keter”(the will) the head of “Adam Kadmon” (Primeval Adam) the right ears represent “Chochmah”, wisdom. Is there a direct connection, as the ear is the organ to hear what the Master say?  The ear is connected to wisdom:
Pro 2:2 So that you make your ear attend to wisdom (chochmah), incline your heart to understanding;
The ear is also the organ which can be seen from everybody looking at the servant or slave, thus knowing that this man was not free, but belongs to somebody. Do people see that you belong to somebody when they look at you? May be through your clothing or behave?  The servant who loved his master was not ashamed to let his ear to be pierced. Natural for spiritual! - Sha'ul considered himself also to be a servant of Messiah:
Gal 1:10 for do I now persuade men, or Elohim? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I should not be a servant of Messiah. Tit 1:1  Sha’ul, a servant of Elohim and an emissary of יהושע Messiah, according to the belief of Elohim’s chosen ones and knowledge of the truth according to reverence,
- Ya’acov was also a servant: Jas 1:1 Yaʽaqoḇ, a servant of Elohim and of the Master יהושע Messiah, to the twelve tribes who are in the dispersion: Greetings. - Kefa was a servant:2Pe 1:1 Shimʽon Kĕpha, a servant and emissary of יהושע Messiah, to those who have obtained a belief as precious as ours by the righteousness of our Elohim and Saviour יהושע Messiah: - Yehuda (Jude) although the brother of יהושע was a servant:
Jud 1:1 Yehuḏah, a servant of יהושע Messiah, and brother of Yaʽaqoḇ, to those who are called, set-apart by Elohim the Father, and preserved in יהושע Messiah: - Yochanan was also a servant: Rev 1:1 Revelation of יהושע Messiah, which Elohim gave Him to show His servants what has to take place with speed. And He signified it by sending His messenger to His servant Yoḥanan,Onesimus the servant in the flesh who fled from his master: Phm 1:10 I appeal to you for my child Onesimos, whom I brought forth while in my chains,
Phm 1:11 who formerly was of no use to you, but now is of good use to you and to me, Phm 1:12 whom I sent back to you, and receive him, that is, my own tender affections, Phm 1:13 whom I wished to keep with me, that on your behalf he might serve me in my chains for the Good News. Phm 1:14 but without your opinion I wished to do none at all, so that your good deed should not be by way of necessity, but voluntary.
Phm 1:15 for he parted from you for a while, possibly because of this, so that you might have him back forever,
Phm 1:16 no longer as a slave (servant), but more than a slave (servant), as a beloved brother, especially to me, and how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Master. .......The word “slave” is the same word for “servant” in Ya’acov 1:1, 2nd Kefa 1:1, Revel. 1:1, Titus 1:1 and many other verses. ;Onesimos was a convert of Sha'ul who fled from his master Philemon a fellow worker of Sha'ul and Timothy, as Vincent’s word studies explain: Onesimus was a runaway Phrygian slave, who had committed some crime and therefore had fled from his master and hidden himself in Rome………The old Roman legislation imposed death for killing a plough-ox (compare sh’mot 21:28-29) but the murder of a slave was not called to account.........................The “Mishpatim” are direct connected to the “servant” and start with him.
Servant: Strong’s #5650 עבד ebed eh'-bed written Ayin, beth, dalet   From H5647; a servant: - X bondage, bondman, [bond-] servant, (man-) servant.   H5647. ‛âbad aw-bad'   A primitive root; to work (in any sense); by implication to serve, till, (causatively) enslave, etc.: -  X be, keep in bondage, be bondmen, bond-service, compel, do, dress, ear, execute, + husbandman, keep, labour (-ing man), bring to pass, (cause to, make to) serve (-ing, self), (be, become) servant (-s), do (use) service, till (-er), transgress [from margin], (set a) work, be wrought, worshipper.  Webster gives us interesting explanation:  1. a person, male or female, that attends another for the purpose of performing menial offices for him, or who is employed by another for such offices or for other labour, and is subject to his command. The word is correlative to master. Servant differs from slave, as the servant's subjection to a master is voluntary, the slave's is not. Every slave is a servant, but every servant is not a slave.   2. One in a state of subjection3.In Scripture, a slave; a bondman; one purchased for money, and who was compelled to serve till the year of jubilee; also, one purchased for a term of years.  4. The subject of a king; as the servants of David or of Saul.  The Syrians became servants to David. 2 Sam 8.  5. A person who voluntarily serves another or acts as his minister; as joshua was the servant of Moses, and the apostles the apostles the servants of Messiah. So Messiah himself is called a servant, Isa 42. Moses is called the servant of YHVH, Duet. 34.  6. A person employed or used as an instrument in accomplishing God's purposes of mercy or wrath. So Nebuchadnezzar is called the servant of God. Jer 25.  7. One who yields obedience to another. The saints are called servants of God, or of righteousness; and the wicked are called the servants of sin.
8. That which yields obedience, or acts on subordination as an instrument.  9. One that makes painful sacrifices in compliance with the weakness or wants of others.  10. A person of base condition or ignoble spirit.  11. A word of civilith. I am, sir, your humble or obedient servant.  Our betters tell us they are our humble servants, but understand us to be their slaves. Swift.  Servant of servants, one debased to the lowest condition of servitude.
Today we are servant of יהושע and free from sin or not servant of יהושע and sale to be the servant of sin, thus of Satan the father of all sin.: Rom 6:16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves servants for obedience, you are servants of the one whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness? Rom 6:17 but thanks to Elohim that you were servants of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of teaching to which you were entrusted. Rom 6:18 and having been set free from sin, you became servants of righteousness. Rom 6:20 for when you were servants of sin, you were free from righteousness.
Rom 6:22 but now, having been set free from sin, and having become servants of Elohim, you have your fruit resulting in set-apartness (Quadosh), and the end, everlasting life.   Rom 6:23 for the wages of sin is death, but the favourable gift of Elohim is everlasting life in Messiah יהושע our Master. …… The “Mishpatim” started with the “ordinance” for the Hebrew servant who will serve six years!    Spiritual understanding:
You and I are these “servants”! Six years equals six thousands (Psalm 90:4, 2nd Kefa 3:8) years before we all enter the seventh year the year of release or Liberty, le Millennium or Thousand years of Messiah's reign, which has been wrought in us by יהושע Messiah who has purchased us from the power of sin to be servant of righteousness (Romans 6:17-23).  The verses in Sh'mot (Exodus)1-12, in the sod (mystery) embed more revelation concerning the servant and the condition of the “Kehilat” the Assembly (Ekklesia) for when the master sh'mot (Exodus) 21:4, יהושע, give him a wife which is a picture of the assembly, and children which are pictures of the body of Messiah and if the servants says I love my Master that is Messiah and my wife that is the assembly and the children that is the brethren (Matt. 12:46-50), then his Master that is יהושע Messiah bring him to Elohim (the Judge) at the door that his the Kingdom (Malkut) and he will pierce his ear to serve him forever, that is the sign for everybody to see that the servant belongs to the Master, that is יהושע!......... Exo 21:4 if his master (יהושע) have given him a wife (Assembly), and she have born him sons or daughters (you and me); the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.  Exo 21:5 and if the servant (you and me) shall plainly say, I love my master (יהושע), my wife, and my children; I will not go out free (I will serve):
Exo 21:6 Then his master (יהושע) shall bring him unto the judges (Elohim); he shall also bring him to the door* (Malchut, the entrance door of the Kingdom), or unto the door post; and his master (יהושע) shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever. ...............* In the parasha concerning the building of the Tabernacle we will see how the door's position is important, and was taught by יהושע to his disciples (servants).  Can you see how in the “sod”, the mystery (sod) are directly connected to יהושע and serving Elohim? Hallelu Yah!.......Mat 12:46 And while He was still talking to the crowds, see, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. Mat 12:47 And one said to Him, “See, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.” Mat 12:48 But He answering, said to the one who spoke to Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” Mat 12:49 And having stretched out His hand toward His taught ones, He said, “See My mother and My brothers!
Mat 12:50 “For whoever does the desire of My Father who is in the heavens is My brother and sister and mother.” All the “Mishpatim” included in Sh’mot chapter 21-23 are summarized in the second part of the Ten Commandments we have in Chapter 20:12-17. They are the commandments contained in יהושע’s word summarized in “You shall love your neighbour as yourselves” from Vayiqra 19:18Verses 12-13 the law for murder…….then I shall appoint for you a place where he is to flee.  Remember we have already seen that the Torah is an on-going progressive revelation. Here the revelation of the place will be later in the plain of Moab near Yericho (Badmidbar 35: 12-28). The reason is simple; it is because these Mishpatim will rule the Children of Israel’s life when they enter the Promise land, pointing for the soon coming Millennium during the reign of Messiah יהושעVerse 17And he who curses his father or……shall be surely put to death. The word for “curses” here is the Hebrew word “נכה  nâkâh naw-kaw'.  A primitive root; to strike (lightly or severely, literally or figuratively): - beat, cast forth, clap, give [wounds], X go forward, X indeed, kill, make [slaughter], murderer, punish, slaughter, slay (-er, -ing), smite (-r, -ing), strike, be stricken, (give) stripes, X surely, wound....... Verses 23-25 do not think that somebody will have to give an eye for eye or a tooth for a tooth or foot for foot, this law is called “value for value” or law of compensation, it has never been intend to pluck an eye or cut a foot as it is done today in countries like Iran or Saudi Arabia under the “sharia” the Muslim law.  יהושע brought it to the right understanding:
Mat 5:38 “You heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth,’ Mat 5:39 but I say to you, do not resist the wicked. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. ....... Further understanding concerning “value for value” is found in sh’mot 21:26: “And when a man smites the eye of his male or female servant, and destroys it, he is to let him go free for the sake of his eye”. The retribution to be free was because of the lost eye!  Exo 21:1 “These are the right-rulings which you are to set before them: Exo 21:2 “When you buy a Heḇrew servant, he serves six years, and in the seventh he goes out free, for naught.
Exo 21:3 “If he comes in by himself, he goes out by himself; if he comes in married, then his wife shall go out with him.
Exo 21:4 “If his master has given him a wife, and she has borne him sons or daughters, the wife and her children are her master’s, and he goes out by himself. Exo 21:5 “And if the servant truly says, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children, let me not go out free,’ ... Exo 21:36 “Or if it was known that the ox was previously in the habit of goring, and its owner has not kept it confined, he shall certainly repay ox for ox (value for value), while the dead beast is his.
Chapter 22. : Verse 1-13.this is connected to the eighth commandment from the Decalogue “you shall not steal”. Elohim gives us how to behave in judgment toward somebody who steals. In many cases, Elohim requires to pay back or to make restitution (22:1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, 14). In some cases there is restitution in other to pay double especially when it is an action from man to his fellow. How is it today when we sin? Sin is the transgression of the Torah! (1st Yoch.3:4) Today in the world system many sins are not regarded as relevant to the law giver of this world system, i.e. 22:16 Vayiqrah 19:16. This doesn’t change יהוה’s righteous judgment. Read :  Psa 119:89 Forever, O יהוה, Your word stands firm in the heavens.  Psa 146:6 Maker of the heavens and earth, The sea and all that is in them, Who is guarding truth forever, .................Sin brings/call punishment in our life (sickness, trouble, accidents, lost of life), today the sins of the world bring the righteous judgment of Elohim on those who do not obey the Torah. Only the confession and forsaking sins brings forgiveness and restoration in right standing, if not we bear the consequences of our sins ............Question: How can I forsake sin if I don't know what is sin?: 1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Heb 12:5 and you have forgotten the appeal which speaks to you as to sons, “My son, do not despise the discipline of יהוה, nor faint when you are reproved by Him,  Heb 12:6 for whom יהוה loves, He disciplines, and flogs every son whom He receives.”1 Footnote: 1Prov. 3:11-12. Heb 12:7 If you endure discipline, Elohim is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom a father does not discipline?  Heb 12:8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become sharers, then you are illegitimate (bastard) and not sons.  Heb 12:9 Moreover, we indeed had fathers of our flesh disciplining us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?  Heb 12:10 for they indeed disciplined us for a few days as seemed best to them, but He does it for our profit, so that we might share His apartness.  Heb 12:11 and indeed, no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but grievous, but afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. …..Question: How does Elohim discipline and chastise his children?
2Th 1:3 We are bound to thank YHWH always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth; 2Th 1:4 so that we ourselves glory in you in the assemblies of YHWH for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: 2Th 1:5 which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of YHWH, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of YHWH, for which ye also suffer:  2Th 1:6 seeing it is a righteous thing with YHWH to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; ......I explain in another place that the word “tribulation” come from the Latin word “tribulum” which was an instrument used by farmers (rake) to separate the grain from the husk.  This is confirmed by Kefa (Peter) who explain the brethren that יהוה' judgement begins at the House of Elohim (i.e. during our life time)1Pe 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Messiahian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify YHWH on this behalf.
1Pe 4:17 for the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of YHWH: and if it first begins at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of YHWH? The sentence is written in the present form not future, meaning that already in Kefa's time judgement had already started and he still going on for believers today in all different form of injustice! Kefa keep going in the same book saying in the next chapter: 1Pe 5:6 humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of YHWH, that he may exalt you in due time: 1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1Pe 5:8 be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1Pe 5:9 whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 1Pe 5:10 but the Elohim of all favour, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Messiah Yehoshua, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
We see here the process allowed by יהוה and there is a promise for those who humble themselves (verse 6), after having suffered they will be made perfect, established, strengthen, and settle. You may ask when? Let יהוה decide for he knows, the answer is in the Torah, our forefathers Abraham, Itzakh, Ya'acov, Yoseph, David, and many other have suffered in order to be made perfect, so don't be surprised when something is coming upon you, the way of sanctification goes together with the mishpatim, not by the letter, but by following יהושע in the Ruach (Spirit). ...............Verse 22:18 a witch, Hebrew “kashap” Strong’s# 3784 to whisper a spell, to enchant
Or bring practice of magic, sorcerer, (read 1st Sh’muel 28:3, 7) .  Verses 21 Do not tread down a sojourner or oppress him……….. Two Hebrew words translated by “stranger” or “sojourner” …“soor” Strong’s #H2114 meaning to be a foreign, to turn aside, or profane .  …..And the Hebrew word “Ger” Strong’s# H1616 meaning “alien, foreigner, sojourner”. With this in mind we can better understand what Kefa (Peter) write in:
1Pe 1:1 Kĕpha, an emissary of יהושע Messiah, to the chosen, strangers of the dispersion in Pontos, Galatia, Kappadokia, Asia, and Bithunia,  1Pe 2:11 Beloved ones, I appeal to you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lusts which battle against the life,   ........These “strangers” were not “Gentiles” as many think, but rather “scattered Children of Israel (of the dispersion) among the gentiles”. Do you doubt, then read: Eze 20:23 I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen (Heb. Goy, Gentiles, nations), and disperse them through the countries;  Same from the MKJV:
Eze 20:23 I also lifted up My hand to them in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the nations (Goy, Gentiles) and scatter them through the lands,  Jer 9:16 I will also scatter them among the nations (Goy, Gentiles), whom neither they nor their fathers have known. And I will send a sword after them until I have consumed them.  Sha'ul writing to the Hebrew (Bereans): Heb 11:13 In belief all these died, not having received the promises, but seeing them from a distance, welcomed and embraced them, and confessed that they were aliens and strangers on the earth...
Verse 22: Psa 146:9 יהוה guards the strangers, He lifts up the fatherless and widow, but the way of the wrong (wicked) ones He turns upside down.
Verse 28. Read thou shall not revile the “Judge”, nor ……. The judges were called “Elohim”, as they acted directly under the authority of יהוה: Psa 82:1 Elohim stands in the congregation of Ěl; He judges in the midst of the elohim. Psa 82:2 How long would you judge perversely, And show partiality to the wrong? Selah.
Psa 82:3 Give right-ruling to the poor and fatherless, Do right to the afflicted and needy. Psa 82:4 Rescue the poor and needy; Deliver them from the hand of the wrong. Psa 82:5 They (those called Elohim) do not know, nor do they understand, They walk about in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
Psa 82:6 I, I said, “You are elohim (Judges), and all of you are sons of the Most High.  Psa 82:7 “But as men you die, and fall as one of the heads.” Psa 82:8 Arise, O Elohim, judge the earth, for You shall possess all the nations...
This was confirmed by יהושע in:Joh 10:33 The Yehuḏim answered Him, saying, “We do not stone You for a good work, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself Elohim (Judge).” Joh 10:34 יהושע answered them, “Is it not written in your own Torah (Psalm 82:6), ‘I said, “You are elohim” ’?...
Exo 22:28Do not revile Elohim, nor curse a ruler of your people. -- What does Sha'ul write to Timothy? : Ti 5:1 Rebuke not an elder (ruler of the Assembly), but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; 1Ti 5:2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity. 1Ti 5:3 Honour widows that are widows indeed....
Verse 29………….The first born of thy son shall thou give unto Me.   Jer 31:9 “With weeping they shall come, and with their prayers I bring them. I shall make them walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they do not stumble. For I shall be a Father to Yisra’ĕl, and Ephrayim – he is My first-born...
The law of the first born was established since Adam.  Rom 8:29 because those whom He knew beforehand, He also ordained beforehand to be conformed to the likeness of His Son (יהושע), for Him to be the first-born among many brothers. Col 1:15 who is the likeness of the invisible Elohim, the first-born of all creation.1
Col 1:18 and He is the Head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that He might become the One who is first in all. ..................יהושע our brother! Have you ever realised that Sh'aul says that G-d is your brother? This is what Christianity says, because as we read, יהושע is our brother, thus if he is G-d in the flesh, then you are G-d's brother! Of course this is nonsense it is true that יהושע is our brother but not G-d as pretended by Christians or at least in the sense they want to have him: One hundred percent man and One hundred percent G-d...
Verse 31…………..you do not eat any meat which is torn to pieces in the field, you throw it to the dogs. ……………Many times unclean animals like “dogs” are a picture of pagans:  Mat 15:22 and see, a woman of Kenaʽan came from those borders and cried out to Him, saying, “Have compassion on me, O Master, Son of Dawiḏ! My daughter is badly demon-possessed.” ……………Mat 15:26 And He answering, said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” Mat 15:27 But she said, “Yea Master, for even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”.................The verse 31 starts with the opposite, “you shall be Qadosh” “set apart”, which is in opposition to the unclean...
Exo 22:1 “When a man steals an ox or a sheep, and shall slaughter it or sell it, he repays five cattle for an ox and four sheep for a sheep. Exo 22:2 “If the thief is found breaking in, and he is smitten so that he dies, there is no guilt for his bloodshed...
Exo 22:31 “And you are set-apart men to Me, and you do not eat any meat which is torn to pieces in the field, you throw it to the dogs.  …
Chapter 23.: Exo 23:1Do not bring a false report. Do not put your hand with the wrong to be a malicious witness
There is no doubt here that the Children of Israel (you and me) are called not to put our hands in any malicious witnessing! The intends of the heart are revealed b Elohim!...
Heb 4:12 for the word of YHWH is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
I remember that I went to a Christian Church many years ago, and this church existed already ten years and had around nine hundred persons attending the Sunday worship. The Pastors were boastful especially four of them, four were from the US and Canada, the other with his wife were German and were the only one willing to “serve” but not according to knowledge. During the time I spent in this church I saw many people been hurt and abused and many of them left the church with bitterness. I left when I realized the gap between Christian truth and the Scriptures. It took some few more years from me until יהוה opened my eye and took me out from the church system. But what I want to say, while I was in the Philippines in our small Assembly, it happened in this Church that Elohim scattered the Pastors, they left Germany save one with his wife who today have lost their desire for serving G-d, and the church reduced around fifty person with another "Pastor". What I want to say is that יהוה do things in His time and according to His plan, not willing that any man perish but should be saved through Messiah יהושע for this Church it took more than thirty years! During this time I experienced gossip like I never had before. In my family (not believers) we were trained to "close our mouth, not to speak against our neighbours". It is amazing to ma that I discovered Gossip in the Church! We keep reading with יהוה’s commandments according to the Decalogue given by Moshe chapter 20 and especially the second part which relate to our neighbors “You shall love your neighbor as yourselves” (Vayiqrah 19:16)
Verse 23 3...
Pro 20:10 differing weights and differing measures, Both of them are an abomination to יהוה. ……Man as the bad tendency to give favor to the one or another. Right ruling is based on what יהוה’s words say not on man condition. Wickedness is not measured by man’s property.  Verse 7Keep yourself far from a false matter……….Gossip has become rampant among believers today, even in messianic assemblies so far that for some it seems “normal” to go from house to house and spread things concerning others, even if they get it from a third party, just telling something which they don't even knows if it is true!....Eph 4:25 Therefore, having put off the false, speak truth, each one with his neighbour, for we are members of one another.   .....What we have not seen is false. To speak the truth is based on “love” for his neighbour.: Pro 10:12 Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. 1Pe 4:8 and above all things have fervent love to yourselves, for love will cover a multitude of sins. ...........Verse 8. compare:Pro 15:27 He who is greedy for gain, troubles his own house, But he who hates bribes lives. Verses 10-12: The Shabbat meaning "rest" is extended to the land and is called Shemitah in Hebrew a period when the land lies at rest and the products goes for the poor and the animals, so was it also to be with the wine yard and the Olive yard.  If you came thirty years ago to France you would have seen what we called the time of Jashère (sound familiar with Jasher or Yasher), farmers were not working the soil every seventh years, and wine in the yard were collected after three years of planting. Who brought that to France, was it not from those of the dispersion, the House of Israel? I have seen with my own eyes, my father having wine yard at this time, I remember having seen him planting a wine and waiting three years before we entered the yard for the first harvest! I have also seen many fields resting during "Jashère" year! At this time fertilizer was not used! Today the g-d of this world has take over and no more break but production is the word and for that they use a maximum of fertilizer so that now we see the first serious symptoms of sickness coming, the water from our rivers have been polluted by all kind of pesticides and fertilizer, even our coast land is sick and fishes suffer. In most of the biggest French rivers fishes are dying and can no more be eaten, swimming is forbidden, what a pity!  .............. Verses 14-16.Only three feast are mentioned here: Unleavened bread, marking the starting of a life without sin or “leaven”, The feast of Harvest “Shavuot” pointing to the outpouring of the Ruach HaQodesh, and the feast of Ingathering or “Succoth” coming from the Hebrew word “aciph”, to gather in a crops and comes from the root word “acaf”, meaning to gather for any purpose, take away, remove, leave behind. This last feast which occurs during the harvest time in the fall during the 7th month of the year in the Hebrew calendar, points to the last gathering of יהוה’s people, the children of Ya’acov at the second coming of Messiah (Matt. 24:31)...
Verses 16-17:Exo 23:16 and the Festival of the Harvest, the first-fruits of your labours which you have sown in the field; and the Festival of the Ingathering at the outgoing of the year, when you have gathered in the fruit of your labours from the field. Exo 23:17Three times in the year all your males are to appear before the Master יהוה...
Have you ever asked yourselves why Elohim requires ONLY three times to appear before Him, during the Feats of Unleavened bread, the Feast of first-fruits and the Feats of the ingathering
Missing: Shavuot, Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur!
This is very interesting; the other feast will be added AFTER the sin of the golden Calf! Just think about it. Yom Kippur requires a collective fast! Why? Remember it is the Feast of Atonement for all Israel. We don’t see here to celebrate Passover which is a feast to be remembered!....; - The Feast of Unleavened Bread marks the sanctification process after living Egypt!;  - The Feast of first-fruits was at this point only an agricultural feast to honour Yehovah the provider of His people......The Feats of Ingathering was also a feast to celebrate the fall harvest the last harvest of the year to give thanks to Yehovah for His blessing.  After the sin of the golden calf the feasts will take a new dimension, pointing to Messiah Yehoshua...
Verse 19. Boiling a kid in his mother’s milk was a pagan fertility practice in Egypt. Read what Abraham did: Gen 18:7 And Aḇraham ran to the herd, took a tender and good calf, gave it to a young man, and he hurried to prepare it.  Gen 18:8 And he took curds and milk and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them, and he stood by them under the tree as they ate. Today orthodox “Jews” do not serve meat and milk together, out of misinterpretation.
Verses 21-22. The “Malek” or messenger, angel is a forerunner of Messiah and he is not יהושע in my understanding has some want to have him he is the sent one of יהוה and act in his authority “for my name is in him”. Now compare: Joh 17:11 “And I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Set-apart Father, guard them in Your Name which You have given Me, so that they might be one,1 as We are
Joh 14:21 “He who possesses My commands and guards them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and manifest Myself to him.”  Joh 5:26 “For as the Father possesses life in Himself, so He (the Father) gave also to the Son to possess life in Himself,  Joh 5:27 and He has given Him authority also to do judgment, because He is the Son of Aḏam.
Malek are created beings, not born, this is an important difference, and also Malek are servants of man!
Rev 19:10 and I fell at his (the angel) feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Yehoshua: worship YHWH: for the testimony of Yehoshua is the spirit of prophecy............The difficulty to understand why Elohim sent Angels is that the mystery which is Messiah יהושע was not yet reveal, remember we have seen in the Book of b'reshit (Genesis) that Messiah according to Elohim's plan will be revealed in the fourth day, or the year four thousand. During the first three thousand years, Elohim according tot the Tanak (Torah, Prophets and Writings), but also the Book of Yasher communicated with his children often by involving Angels in man's affair!...
Verses 22-23. The messenger of Elohim is in charge of the protection of the Children of Israel, יהושע is our protection...
Verse 24. “Not other Elohim”. Today people forget that a “g-d” is whatever takes place first in our life between Elohim and us, this can be our job, our car, TV, favourite singer or whatever is first in our life (Sh’mot 20:3-6), especially mammon as we see in western countries whose g-d is money, money and again money!...
Verse 25. Serving יהוה brings blessing in our life, protection from sicknesses, and even healing...
Exo 23:31 “And I shall set your border from the Sea of Reeds to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the River, for I shall give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you. Eretz Israel (The land of Israel) is the only Land given borders by Elohim: From the sea of Reed (Egypt) to the Mediterranean Sea (the land of the Philistines) from the wilderness (desert of Arabia) to river (Euphrates):
Deu 11:24 Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.
No other land has got their land from יהוה Elohim, all other nations have got their borders by fighting, wars and conquest. It is amazing that the UN (United Nations) with the USA and the EU (European Union) want to force Israel to give land to the Palestinians (Philistines).....Read what יהוה told our forefathers:  Lev 25:23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.  From these verses we can imagine that what the nations have planned will bring nothing but arm to them because it is a fearful things to fall into the hands of the living Elohim (Heb.10:31).  Verses 32-33. We shouldn’t make a covenant, alliance with people from the world. We are called to be light by living a godly life before every man, and to be set apart as the word Holy" means. By walking with ungodly people, we are easily snared by their “g-ds”.
Exo 23:1Do not bring a false report. Do not put your hand with the wrong to be a malicious witness...
Exo 23:33 “Let them not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against Me when you serve their mighty ones, when it becomes a snare to you.” …
Chapter 24. : Verses 1-11. The covenant is sealed by the approval of the children of Israel verses 3 and 7: “All the Words which יהוה has spoken we shall do.”  This statement has been proclaimed three times. One time in Sh’mot 19:8 and two times in this chapter…
Mat 12:37 “For by your words you shall be declared righteous, and by your words you shall be declared unrighteous.”
We know that the children of Israel will break the covenant and disobey the Torah, this is called “sin” (1st Yochan.3:4). It is the same today for us, therefore by studying the Torah we renew our mind (Rom. 12:2) in order, “not to be conformed to this world”, but become spiritual people able to discern and walk in the path of life and peace. .......Verse 1.Seventy of the elders: The number seventy (7x10) is built of the number seven for divine perfection on earth and the divine number 10 the sum of all number.  Today in Israel the body of Rabbies those among the orthodox Jews who decide concerning the “Halachach”, the interpretation of the Torah, are seventy in number.: 2Co 3:14 But their minds were hardened, for to this day, when the old covenant is being read, that same veil remains, not lifted, because in Messiah it is taken away. 2Co 3:15 But to this day, when Mosheh is being read, a veil lies on their heart. 2Co 3:16 and when one turns to the Master, the veil is taken away. ...
Do Rabbis have the right ruling today in Israel? ....
Verse 7. the book of the covenant in Hebrew is “Sefer HaBrit” and refers to the whole body of Mishpat, judgments, decrees oral and written, that descended with Moshe from Mount Sinai (Aviv ben Mordechai). Ya'acov told his children before he dies that the sceptre will not depart from Yehuda until shiloh comes: Gen 49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be...
It is understood among the scholars that the name Shiloh is another name for Messiah! ...
Question when did Messiah came? Mat 16:17 And Yahushua answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.  Mat 16:18 and I say also unto thee, That thou art Kepha, and upon this rock I will build my Assembly; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  יהושע confirm to Kefa (Peter) that the sceptre will now be transferred:  Mat 16:19 and I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Later after the departure of יהושע to the Father, we see that the authority is carried by Ya'acov יהושע' brother. (Acts 15:13-19).  One of the examples from the today's Halachach within Judaism is that if somebody wants to become a Jew it will take three years and many challenges never seen in the Torah as for example to go to Yeshivah a school of learning the Talmud, and not the Torah!...
Verse 10. and they saw the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl…
Joh 1:18 No one has ever seen Elohim.
1Ti 6:16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or is able to see, to whom be respect and everlasting might. Amĕn. 1Jn 4:12 No one has seen Elohim at any time. If we love one another, Elohim does stay in us, and His love has been perfected in us. ...
The presence of Elohim was so strong that they could apprehend his presence as they could see. Elohim’s presence was so real, that Moshe wrote “they saw”...... Brown Driver Briggs gives follow explanation for the Hebrew word for “saw”, which is the word “ra”ah”…
BDB Definition: 1) to see, look at, inspect, perceive, consider. 1a) (Qal)

Haftorah
In the Haftorah, the prophet remind of Israel’s breaking of the Torah and the consequences of it.
Many prophets have been sent to bring the children of Ya’acov back to the covenant and they did for a while before going back to the way of the pagans.  When יהושע came, he kept the way of the prophets, but went further to finish his mission during his first Advent having chosen his talmidin (disciples) and gave them the responsibility to finish the “job”. How is it today, all around the world the descendants from Ya’acov proclaim to believe in “Jesus”, rejecting the covenant and following the way of the pagan. Alas! for the day of the vengeance of our Elohim is coming.  יהושע came to bring the Torah to its right place among the Children of Israel.  How is it with you, have you been immersed in the Ruach HaQodesh (Set apart Spirit) and baptized in the Name of יהושע, following is leading and trusting Him who has called you?  The world has nothing to offer to us, only delusion and the spirit of deception.  How it is with us, now that we have come to know the truth, been called to be set apart (Qadosh) in a pagan world. Are we ready to stand, knowing that the One who has called us is faithful and His Covenant is sealed with the blood of יהושע.   Be patient in struggle, faithful in our walk, having been cleansed from our past life let us look unto Messiah יהושע waiting patiently for his soon return, for he will not delay if we are faithful!   The Torah is established to be the everlasting covenant between יהוה Elohim and His People, you and me. This is our Contract Marriage with the Bridegroom if we want to take place at the Wedding Table, let us stand and call upon the Name of יהוה set apart from those from the nations, walking in the light and been light unto others! …….Jer 34:9 that everyone was to set free his male and female slave, the Heḇrew man and the Heḇrew woman, no one was to keep a Yehuḏite, his brother, enslaved... Jer 34:14 “At the end of seven years each one should set free his Heḇrew brother, who has been sold to him. And when he has served you six years, you shall let him go free from you.” But your fathers did not obey Me nor incline their ear. Jer 34:15 ‘And you recently turned and did what was right in My eyes, each man proclaiming release to his neighbour. And you made a covenant before Me in the house which is called by My Name. Jer 34:16 ‘But you turned back and profaned My Name, and each one of you took back his male and female slaves, whom he had set free, at their pleasure, and brought them into subjection, to be your male and female slaves.’ Jer 34:17 “Therefore thus said יהוה, ‘You have not obeyed Me in proclaiming release, each one to his brother and each one to his neighbour. See, I am proclaiming release to you,’ declares יהוה, ‘to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the scarcity of food! And I shall make you a horror to all reigns of the earth...Jer 33:25 “Thus said יהוה, ‘If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the laws of the heavens and earth, Jer 33:26 then I would also reject the descendants of Yaʽaqoḇ and Dawiḏ My servant, so that I should not take of his descendants to be rulers over the descendants of Aḇraham, Yitsḥaq, and Yaʽaqoḇ. For I shall turn back their captivity, and have compassion on them.’ ”
2Ki 11:17 and Yehoyaḏa made a covenant between יהוה and the sovereign and the people, to be the people of יהוה – also between the sovereign and the people...2Ki 12:17 and Ḥaza’ĕl sovereign of Aram went up and fought against Gath, and captured it. And Ḥaza’ĕl set his face to go up to Yerushalayim...
Mat 5:17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets.1 I did not come to destroy but to complete. Footnote: 1The Law and the Prophets is a term used for the pre-Messianic Scriptures...
Mat 5:32 “But I say to you that whoever puts away his wife, except for the matter of whoring,1 makes her commit adultery. And whoever marries a woman who has been put away commits adultery. Footnote: 1Mt. 19:9, Dt. 24:1
2Co 6:14 Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness? And what fellowship has light with darkness?
2Co 6:15 and what agreement has Messiah with Beliyaʽal? Or what part does a believer have with an unbeliever?
2Co 6:16 and what union has the Dwelling Place of Elohim with idols? For you are a Dwelling Place of the living Elohim, as Elohim has said, “I shall dwell in them and walk among them, and I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.” 2Co 6:17 Therefore, “Come out from among them and be separate, says יהוה, and do not touch what is unclean, and I shall receive you. 2Co 6:18 “And I shall be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me, says יהוה the Almighty.”
May יהוה Elohim of Israel bless you and keep you through Messiah יהושע as you walk the way of Torah.
