Parasha Tzav
relates the relation between the Priest and the offerings. Once again we will
focus on the “p’shat” level, knowing
that the “mystery will be reveal in the “sod” (mystery) level, both work
together..The Hebrew word “tzav”
comes from the word “Tsavah” found
the first time in: Gen 18:19 “For I
have known him, so that he (Abraham) commands (Tsavah) his children and his household after him, to guard the
way of יהוה, to do righteousness and right-ruling, so that יהוה
brings
to Aḇraham what He has spoken to
him.” …This word
contains the idée to set before, to bid, to order something. In the case of
Abraham, יהוה
says that he knows that
Abraham will “tsavah”, bid, set יהוה’s command before his
children and his household. This is also with Moshe who is said, to “tsavah’ bid or command what to do
regarding sins. If we look carefully all these sacrifices, we will see that
they all point to יהושע and by studying, our gratefulness toward יהוה will increase for what he has done
for us through Messiah יהושע. Yesterday before
Shabbat, as I was preparing, the TV was running. It was reportage from the
Island Madagascar in the Indian Ocean regarding the tradition of the
people living in this country. Most of
them are syncretistic, practice, which imply the adoration of the “saints”
within their catholic faith. They practice the belief of the dead and pray to
the dead within many rituals which go so far as remove the dead from their
graves in order to remove the old linen clothe in order to put a new one. If we
observe carefully men’s traditions around the world, we will see that today,
men’s tradition prevail against the true faith, even among many pretending to
hold the truth. Every time we remove or add something to the Torah we violate Yehovah’s
word and sin (D’varim 4:2, Revel. 22:18)!...Now to come back to the offering
and sacrifices, I would like to point to something, Shaul wrote to the Galatians:

Christians
boast when reading this verses, saying that the Torah is no more needed because
Yehoshua as abolished it! What does the Prophet Yrmeyahu write?
Jer 7:21 Thus
said יהוה
of hosts, the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, “Add
your burnt offerings to your slaughterings and eat meat. Jer 7:22 “For I did
not speak to your fathers, or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim, about
matters of burnt offerings or slaughterings. Jer 7:23 “But this
word I did command them, saying, ‘Obey My voice,1
and I shall be your Elohim, and you be My people. And walk in all the
ways that I have commanded you, so that it be well with you.’ Footnote: 1Aḇraham did so (Gen. 26:5), and יהוה again laid
down this condition for Yisra’ĕl to be His people (Ex. 19:5), and the same
applies to us (Jn. 3:36, Rom. 6:16, Heb. 4:11, Heb. 5:9, Rev. 22:14)…….This is why Shaul was compelled by the Ruach
HaQodesh (Set apart Spirit) to write: ” till the seed shall come”, read:
Rom 10:3 for not knowing the righteousness of Elohim, and seeking to establish their own
righteousness, (Oral Torah with their “takanot”, traditions and ma’asim
decrees) they did not subject themselves to1 the
righteousness of Elohim. Footnote: 1Or did not obey. Rom 10:4 For Messiah is the goal1(not the end)
of the ‘Torah unto righteousness’ to everyone who believes. Footnote: 1Or end purpose; not termination.
Is it what Shaul was saying, does Shaul write that they don’t need to keep
the Torah? Or does he say that the “law
of sacrifices” was added because of transgression. As we know the Torah existed before Moshe. If you read
carefully you will see that while Moshe went up to the Mount to receive
the Ten Commandments written on the stone tablets, in the camp the
Children of Israel sinned, making the golden calf. In this moment Yehovah gave
Moshe instruction to build the Tabernacle and the rules for the
sacrifices!
In the book
to the Galatians, in particular in chapter 3, Shaul is speaking not about the “Torah”
but the “ma’asim HaTorah” (work
of the Torah), the Pharisaic
canonized “takanot” which were the
oral laws and traditions.............Heb 10:5
Therefore,
coming into the world, He(King David and Yehoshua) says, “Slaughtering and meal
offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me.
Heb 10:6 “In burnt offerings and offerings for sin You did not delight.1 Footnote: 1Ps. 40:6, 7.
Heb 10:7 “Then I said, ‘See, I come – in the roll of the book it has been written
concerning Me – to do Your desire, O Elohim.’ ”Heb 10:8 Saying above, “Slaughter and meal
offering, and burnt offerings, and offerings
for sin You did not desire, nor delighted in,” which are offered according to
the Torah,
In another
place it is written: Rom 7:14 for
we know that the Torah is Spiritual……….
Verses 6:2
when any being (man) sins and committed a trespass against יהוה
…….
We notice
that sin is a trespass against יהוה first. This is important to understand that
action against somebody (we speak first from our brethren, but also
toward those outside) is a trespass that is treachery, falsehood, breaking the
Torah or instruction of יהוה (1st Yochan.3:4)...Verse 4….he shall
return….and give reparation!
Here we
have the process of making good. I know that for many of us, before we return
to the truth, we have transgressed against יהוה’s righteous
Torah. We bore the consequences of it without knowing it! Don’t you know that a command works in man’s
life, even when we are ignorant of it? For
example, how it is if you put your finger in the electric plug, do you feel a
difference knowing that there is electricity or not? Of course NO, the result
is the same you will feel the pain, so it works with going against Elohim’s
commandments! So if we sin in our life knowingly or not, we will have to bear
the same consequences. Yes יהוה has reconciled the all world unto himself
through Messiah יהושע, but this does not remove the consequences of
sins. We can read how it was with King
David sinning with Betshebah, he
repented for having sinned against יהוהPsa 51:1 Have mercy upon me, O Elohim, according to
thy loving kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot
out my transgressions.Psa 51:2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
Psa 51:3
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
Psa
51:4 Against thee,
thee only, have I sinned, and
done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou
speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.....Here David was acknowledging
is sin against YHWH when he went to “sleep” with Bethshebah, and having planed the death of Huriah the
consequence he had to bear was the death of the son born out of this sin: 12:9 wherefore hast thou despised the
commandment of YHWH, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah
the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast
slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon. 2Sa
12:10 Now (consequences) therefore (because of that) the sword shall
never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken
the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife. 2Sa
12:11 Thus saith YHWH, Behold, I
will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes,
and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the
sight of this sun. 2Sa 12:12 for thou
didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel , and before the sun. 2Sa 12:13 and
David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against YHWH. And Nathan said unto David,
YHWH also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die. 2Sa 12:14
Howbeit, because by this deed
thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of YHWH to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee
shall surely die. 2Sa 12:15 and
Nathan departed unto his house. And YHWH
struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David, and it was very sick. 2Sa 12:16 David therefore besought Elohim for
the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the
earth. 2Sa
12:17 and the elders of his house
arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not,
neither did he eat bread with them. 2Sa 12:18 and
it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of
David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while
the child was yet alive, we spoke unto him, and he would not hearken unto our
voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead? 2Sa 12:19 But
when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was
dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said,
He is dead. 2Sa 12:20 Then David arose from the earth, and washed,
and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of YHWH,
and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set
bread before him, and he did eat. 2Sa 12:21 Then said his servants unto him, What thing
is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it
was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread. 2Sa 12:22 and
he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can
tell whether Elohim will be gracious to me, that the child may live? 2Sa 12:23 but now he is dead, wherefore should I
fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to
me. The lesson here is that when we are
catch in sin, YHWH may forgive us when we confess our sins to him, but we will still have to bear the
consequences!!!!!
We
should therefore be very careful when we handle a matter. Unfortunately many
act lightly and do not realize that we will pay even for every word we speak. If
we don’t pay back now, we will pay later. You will say that many times we
didn’t pay back! Of course because even knowing that what we are doing is wrong
we were not aware that we go against the righteous commands of יהוה.
The concept
of judgment is misunderstood from many. Christian boast of their freedom in
“save by grace” and go on to say that “g-d” will bless them in material things.
I have read many so called teaching concerning material blessing, but what does
the scriptures teach us: 1Pe 4:17 Because it
is time (present verb) for judgment
to begin from the House of Elohim.
And if firstly from us, what is the end of those who do not obey the Good
News of Elohim? And more from Shaul: 2Th 1:4 so that we ourselves boast of you among the assemblies of Elohim for
your endurance and belief in all your
persecutions and afflictions which you are bearing,
2Th 1:5 clear evidence of the
righteous judgment of Elohim, in order for you to be counted worthy of
the reign of Elohim, for which you also suffer, 2Ti 3:12 And
indeed, all those wishing to live reverently in
Messiah יהושע, shall be persecuted.(see
2nd Tessal 1:4) 1 Footnote:
1Mt. 5:10……..Forgiveness works together with restoration. I know many time we were
not able to pay back or to return when we have transgress יהוה’s commands.
This is what we should learn as we go though the Feast circle every year. This
rehearsal is there to remind us that our life is not in a linear way but in
cycle and that every year we have the opportunity to start again in a better
way. At the time I am writing we are “counting the omer” this is the 49 days
period between the Feast of Unleaven
Bread and Shavuot, the Feast of the
Weeks. During this seven weeks it is a preparation time to be filled a new
with the Ruach HaQodesh or to refresh
our relationship with our heavenly Father, for other a new step in a deeper
relation ship with יהוה. ..
I was wondering
concerning the counting of the “omer” during fifty days. In the King James we
read the word “sheaf” for the Hebrew word “omer” which is a measure of grain.
This was to be brought has offering to יהוה .The counting of “omer” day after day connect the Feats of Unleavened Bread to the Feats of
weeks (seven time seven) called “Shavuot” also “Pentecost” meaning fifty. We
know that from the day been partaker to the Pesach representing יהושע’s
sacrifice to the receiving of the Torah there were fifty days. Between יהושע’
sacrifice and the receiving of the Ruach
HaQodesh (Set apart Spirit) there were also fifty days. Today counting the “omer” is for all
believers a time period in our life as children of Elohim for “introspection”
searching our heart in prayer and devotional time in order to remove from our
life all what is not pleasing Elohim,
with the help of the Ruach HaQodesh.
Day after day, while bringing the sacrifice of praise (Hebr; 13:15) we ask Aba יהוה to help us to ; a) To see where leaven or other impurity remain in our life...b) To remove from us what we many times
call “bad habits” but are sins! This is the process of our journey. All the offerings were to make reconciliation
unto יהוה,
not removing, but covering men ’sins until Messiah יהושע came. Today we also have the
responsibility to remove sins (be unleavened) from our life. This is why sometime we stay in the same
situation until we see and understand what we must do. Remember our study on Ya’acov, Yoseph and all godly forefathers. They were not perfect from birth
they also had to go to the process of refining, and not only them, what is
about יהושע?....Heb 5:7

that ha has “been made

been the Son of Elohim, didn’t had a
place of favour in this world, he learned to obey the Father by suffering and
obeying the Torah. He didn’t have a
“nice life”, just for him but went thought the same hardship as we all are
going through. The Priest was the
mediator between man and Elohim.
We have see that the children of Israel were not allowed to enter
the Set apart place, but only the priests.
We need to understand that the English language give back a poor
translation of the Hebrew meaning concerning “offering” and “sacrifices”. We
need to understand, so we are going to look at it. .....H234 אזכּרה azkârâh az-kaw-raw'....From H2142; a reminder; specifically remembrance offering:

better picture of the offering brought to יהוה. What can we
learn? Do you remember we read that Shaul
explains that the Torah was to bring
us: Gal 3:19 WhereforeG5101 thenG3767 serveth theG3588 law?G3551

G3757 theG3588 seed (Yehoshua)G4690 should comeG2064It
was added because of transgression! The torah
itself existed from the creation of the world and came with Adam. The sacrifices were added because of the “transgressions”.
And this is what has been removed when Messiah came. In this light we will look at the word of Sha’ul in Hebrew and correct the mistake in the text:
Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent
ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant,
which was established upon better promises. Heb 8:7 for if that first covenant
had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Heb 8:13
In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the
first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Question: Was the covenant a problem, how do we know that it was not the
covenant which was changed?
If we look at the first verse we will learn about the context: Heb 8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken
this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of
the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; We see here in the context that
it is concerning the High Priest Yehoshua Messiah who has obtained a
better ministry. Knowing that I will suggest to read the verses again but so: Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent
ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better priesthood,
which was established upon better promises. Heb 8:7 for if that
first priesthood had been faultless then should no place have
been sought for the second. Heb 8:13
In that he saith, A new priesthood, he hath made the first
old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away……Now we can understand the verse 13, un the time of the
writing of the book og Hebrew, the Temple was still standing and so the
levitical sacrifices who were waxing old ready to vanish away NOT THE TORAH. In
70 C.E the Temple was destroyed and by consequences the sacrifices were finish,
letting place to the new priesthood after the order of Melkitzedek! The scribes who wrote the letter to the
Hebrew in Greek, were all antinomians (against the Torah) and tried to
bring again proof that the Marcion called “Old Testament” was
finished and that a “New Testament or Covenant was for Christians”
although we know from the prophet Yremyahu/Jeremiah that the Covenant
was RENEWED, and not new in the
sense of not existing before. The Hebrew word for “new” is “chadash” meaning
new in the sense of been restored, repaired, and not new as it had never
existed before!
Today’s parasha will deal with sin and offering.
Sin has a clear definition. According to Yochanan,
it the transgression of the Torah (1st
Yochan.3:4). The Greek word for transgression is Strong’s #G458 “anostia” from #G459 “anomos” no subject to, lawless,
wicked, illegality, violation of the Torah, unrighteousness.
In Hebrew
it is Strong’s#H6588 “pasha” , pe(80) shin (300), ayin(70)
(450), rebel, revolt, transgress, trespass.
It is
amazing to see Christianity boasting to be “free from the law (Torah)” when we
read that if we rebel, revolt, transgress the Torah (יהוה’s
instruction), we sin. 6:2-3 Elohim explain to Moshe, principle of sin against his neighbour. This is part of the
last five commandments, man toward man. יהושע
remind us in Mattityahu
22:39, that the second greatest command
is to love our neighbour as ourselves, quoting vayyiqrah/Levet.
19:18.
The word
for trespass used here is different from the other time trespass is used. The
word “trespass” in verse 2 is Strong’s #H4604 “ma’al”, unfaithful
against man or Elohim from #4603 “ma’ah”
treachery, falsehood, transgression, to cover up, to act covertly.
....We can understand what Yochanan
tell us concerning the definition of sin, that if a man act falsely, by transgression,
acting covertly, transgressing יהוה’s righteous commands, we
sin. We can also in these two verses
understand what Shaul say in the book
of Romans: “for all have sinned and come short of the glory of Elohim” (Rom 3:23 and Gal.3:22).
V erse 4……..and he is guilty, that he shall restore…..The
word used for “guilty” is the same word used for trespass, strong’s#H817, guilt,
fault, desolate. We shall keep this in mind when reading. He shall restore……….
Hebrew,
strong’s #H7725 “shuwb”, shin(300), vav(6), beth(2), (308), to turn back
with the idea to return to the starting point.
All this has a price. Here we see that we can make an effort to restore,
pointing to what we cannot restore and therefore need the blood of Messiah to pay for us. Many people do not understand that we have
need of restoration: 2Co 5:21 for
He (Yehovah) made Him (Yehoshua) who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness
of Elohim. Gal 3:13 Messiah redeemed us from the
curse of the Torah, having become
a curse for us – for it has been written, “Cursed is
everyone who hangs upon a tree.”1
–
If we read
the context we will see that the curse came because men were following the Oral
Torah of the P’rushim (Pharisee) with their takanot
(tradition) and ma’asim (decrees)....Rom 3:24 being declared right, without paying, by His favour through the redemption which is in Messiah
יהושע,Eph 1:7 in
whom we have redemption through His blood, the
forgiveness of trespasses, according to the riches of His favour, Today our restoration is in Messiah who brings us back to the path
of righteousness, by turning us back to the Torah:
Psa 23:3 He
turns back1 my being; He leads me in
paths of righteousness For His Name’s sake. Footnote: 1Or
He converts……Verse 5. …..which he sworn falsely…….read
Matt. 5:33-37 ....Verses 6-7 and he
shall bring his trespass offering (offering for his falsehood, guilt, fault,
offend. Hebrew (“asham”)
to יהוה.
We can see
here a very important concept. Sin is
against יהוה by disobedience to His Torah and need restoration or a “pay back”. We will
discover that יהוה’ standard for righteousness is very high and that no
man can attend it on his own ability, but with the help of יהושע
and the Ruach HaQodesh, by submitting our will
to his will. 7. and the priest shall make and atonement ………read: 1Jn 2:1 My
little children, I write this to you, so that you do not sin. And if anyone
sins, we have an Intercessor with the Father, יהושע Messiah,
a righteous One.
1Jn 2:2 And He Himself is an atoning offering for our
sins, and not for ours only but also for the all world.
The Greek
word for “intercessor” is “parakletos”:
comforter, intercessor”.....Verse
9. The law of burn offering; The word for offering is strong’s #H4503 “minchah”
‘see above’, to apportion, bestow a donation, euphemism: tribute,
sacrificial offering. Burnt:
Strong’s #H5930 “olah”, a step as for to ascend, usually a holocaust (as going
up in smoke). This two words “olah”, “minchah” demonstrate the action of this offering: bestow a portion
to יהוה
as a going up
donation. Now we can read: Rom 12:1
I call upon you, therefore, brothers,
through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering
– set-apart, well-pleasing to Elohim – your reasonable worship. Heb 9:28 so
also the Messiah, having been offered
once to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to
those waiting for Him, unto deliverance. Heb 10:14
for by one offering He has perfected for
all time those who are being set apart. Verses 9-13. The altar. The burnt offering shall burn the all
night....Night is strong’s #H3915 “layla”;
meaning a twist (away from light) i.e. night, figuratively adversity...The
concept of light in the scriptures is a lack of יהוה divine presence. יהוה
is light (1st
Yochan.1:5). In B’reshit first
chapter, Elohim created light and
separated it from darkness. Darkness was called “night” (layla) (1:5)...The
burnt offering brings light during the all night. This place is in the “mishkahn” the tabernacle, the set apart
place representing the body of Messiah the spiritual house of יהוה
(Eph.2:21-22).
Light was
always present in the Tabernacle wither day or night, this is an interesting
concept when we read:
Rev 21:23 and the city had no
need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it: for the glory of YHWH
did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Rev 21:24 and
the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the
kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it….Verses 6:10.the
priest shall put on his linen garment……To serve, the priest had to put the
linen garment representing יהוה’s righteousness
(Rev.19:8). The priest shall remove the garment to bring the ashes outside the
camp. This place outside represent the world, separate from the light from the
burnt offering, and dominate by darkness. The “mishkahn”, Tent of meeting (Tabernacle) was a microcosm of what
later will be the Temple, and more later with the coming of Messiah in
the world. ...Mat 12:6 But I say unto you,
That in this place is one greater than the temple. With tis we can understand why Yehoshua
says: “ you are the light of the world”(Matt.5:14)..The concept remain the same: the body of Messiah is the Temple, the
Tent, where יהוה dwells by His Ruach, outside,
that is the world, it is darkness......Joh 1:5
and the
light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. In Thessalonians, Sha’ul explains something to the believers this is also a message
for us today, for those walking with all their heart in the Torah. 1Th 5:4
but you, brothers, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a
thief. 1Th
5:5 for you are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Shaul
is here referring directly to B’reshit
(Genesis) 1:3-5, 14-16. This all was the mystery hidden in Messiah, who came to
bring the true light of the Torah: Psa 119:105 Your word is a
lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Psa 119:130 The opening (entrance) up of Your words gives light, Giving
understanding to the simple.
Pro 6:23 for the command is a lamp, And the Torah a
light1, And reproofs of discipline a way of life,
Footnote: 1Ps. 119:105.....All
sacrifices connect sin to Messiah. Verses 14-23: The grain offering
Now up to
verse 30 we are going to see two offerings and how they bring us to יהושע. יהוה has always desired that we see what
he has prepared for those who love him. The grain offering is made of flour,
frankincense and is without leaven. The
flour is white representing righteousness, and to get the flour, the grain must
be crushed under a heavy stone. Read Yesha’yahu
53:4-5. Verse 5 we read: “he was bruised for our iniquities”. The word for
“bruise” used only twice in the scriptures (Yesha’yahu
53:5 and 10) is strong’s #H1792 “daka”,
meaning to crumble, beat to pieces, crush, oppress, humble,
smite. We can see like the grain was
crushed to become flour, יהושע was also beaten, crushed, for us. The flour
nourishes also the priest (verse 16), so like יהושע nourishes us spiritually: Joh 6:51
“I am the living bread which came down
out of the heaven. If anyone eats of
this bread, he shall live forever. And indeed, the bread that I shall give
is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.” ...17. it
shall not be eaten with leaven…..it is most holy (Qadosh, set apart) as the sin offering
and the trespass offering. 18. All the males among the children
of Ahraon shall eat of it. Ahron’s
children were all priest as we today are priest after the order of Melkitzedek. Priest had two obligations.
First to serve יהוה, and to teach Torah
to the children of Israel /. How it is with you, are you also a priest
taking part in the Qadosh bread of
Life, יהושע
Messiah,
having put on the linen garment? This is a great responsibility, but also a
great honour.

Verses 20-23.The offering for anointing. It was made in a pan and backend. The fire destroys
but the offering backed for sweet savour (verse 21) is a slow process of preparation. The heat there persists to bring the
cake to a perfect state of cooking. During this process, the flour developed a
sweet aroma, a picture of Messiah’s
life offering his life for us. Read Philippians 4:18 speaking of the offering Shaul received from the brethren: Php 4:18
Indeed I
have all and more than enough. I have been filled, having received from Epaphroditos
what you sent, a sweet-smelling
fragrance, an acceptable offering,
well-pleasing to Elohim. And you! Are you also this cake backed
slowly in the pan, becoming a sweet smelling fragrance unto יהוה?
The “heat of the pan” is the tribulations we are undergoing through our
daily life! Just read what the prophet Hoshea
says: Hos 7:8 “Ephrayim mixes himself among the peoples, Ephrayim has become a cake unturned. Can you see the
allusion to the offering? We know that Ephraim
is the House of Israel the ten tribes from the northern Kingdom. nterned = Not well baked, burn in one side
and uncooked on the other, no
sweet aroma! Verse 25: The law of
sin offering. 26. Read : Joh 6:53 יהושע therefore
said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless
you eat the flesh of the Son of Aḏam and drink His blood, you possess no
life in yourselves. Joh
6:54 “He who eats My flesh and
drinks My blood possesses everlasting life, and I shall raise him up in the
last day. Joh 6:55 “For My
flesh is truly food, and My blood is
truly drink. Joh
6:56 “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood stays in Me, and I in him. יהושע’s
words were hard to understand for some following him (verses64-66). People were
following tradition of men, same as it is today in Christianity. The
Torah reveals יהושע as Messiah (the anointed one,
chosen) and not “jesus” the anti-messiah promoting lawlessness!..................Lev 6:1 and
יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, Lev
6:2 “When any being sins, and committed
a trespass against יהוה, and has lied to his
neighbour about a deposit, or about a pledge, or about a robbery, or shall
extort from his neighbour, Lev 6:3 or has found what was lost and has lied
concerning it, or did swear falsely, so that he sins in regard to
any one of all these that a man does, Lev 6:4
then it shall be, when he sins, and
shall be guilty, that he shall return
what he took by robbery, or what he has extorted, or the deposit which was deposited with him, or the lost item which he found,
Lev
6:5 or all that about which
he swore falsely. He shall repay its
total value, add one-fifth more to it, and give it to whom it belongs, on the day of his guilt
offering. Lev 6:6 “Then he brings his guilt
offering to יהוה,
a ram, a perfect one, from the flock, with your valuation, as a guilt offering,
to the priest. Lev 6:7 “And the priest shall
make atonement for him before יהוה, and he shall be forgiven for
whatever he did that made him guilty.” Lev 6:8 and
יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, Lev
6:9 “Command Aharon and his sons, saying, ‘This is the Torah of the
burnt offering: This is the burnt offering, because it is burned on the altar
all night until morning, and the fire of the altar is kept burning on it. Lev 6:10 ‘And
the priest shall put on his linen garment, and put his linen trousers on his
body, and shall take up the ashes of the burnt offering which the fire has
consumed on the altar, and shall put them beside the altar. Lev 6:11 ‘And he shall take off his garments, and put
on other garments, and shall bring the ashes outside the camp to a clean place.
Lev
6:12 ‘And the fire on the
altar is kept burning on it, it is not put out. And the priest shall burn wood
on it every morning, and arrange the burnt offering on it, and shall burn on it
the fat of the peace offerings –
Lev
6:13 fire is continually kept burning on the altar, it is not put out.
Lev 6:14 ‘And this is the Torah of the grain offering: The sons of Aharon shall bring it
near before יהוה, in front of the altar, Lev 6:15 and shall take from it with his hand from
the fine flour of the grain offering, and from its oil, and all the
frankincense which is on the grain offering, and shall burn it on the altar for
a sweet fragrance, as its remembrance portion to יהוה. Lev
6:16 ‘Then Aharon and his sons
eat the rest of it. It is eaten with unleavened bread, in the
set-apart place. They eat it in the
courtyard of the Tent of Meeting. Lev 6:17
‘It is not baked with leaven. I have given it to them as their portion of My
offerings made by fire, it is most set-apart, like the sin offering and the
guilt offering. Lev 6:18 ‘All the males among
the children of Aharon eat it – a law forever in your generations concerning
the offerings made by fire to יהוה. All
that touches them is to be set-apart.’ ”
Lev
6:19 and יהוה
spoke to Mosheh, saying, Lev 6:20 “This is the
offering of Aharon and his sons, which they bring near to יהוה,
beginning on the day when he is anointed: one-tenth of an ĕphah of fine flour as
a daily grain offering, half of it in the morning and half of it at night. Lev 6:21 “It is made on a griddle with oil. Bring it
in mixed, bring the baked portions of the grain offering near, a sweet
fragrance to יהוה. Lev
6:22 “And the anointed priest from among his sons, who is in his place,
prepares it – a law forever to יהוה. All
of it has to be burned, Lev 6:23 and every
grain offering for the priest is completely burned, it is not eaten.”
Lev
6:24 And יהוה
spoke to Mosheh, saying, Lev 6:25 “Speak to
Aharon and to his sons, saying, ‘This is the
Torah of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is
slaughtered, the sin offering is slaughtered before יהוה,
it is most set-apart. Lev 6:26 ‘The priest who is making atonement eats it,
in the set-apart place it is eaten, in the courtyard of the Tent of Meeting. Lev 6:27 ‘All
that touches its flesh is to be set-apart. And when its blood is sprinkled
on any garment, you wash that on which it was sprinkled, in a set-apart place. Lev 6:28 ‘But the earthen vessel in which it is
cooked is to be broken. And if it is cooked in a bronze pot, then it is scoured
and rinsed in water. Lev 6:29 ‘Every male among the priests eats it,
it is most set-apart. Lev 6:30 ‘And no sin offering from which any of the blood
is brought into the Tent of Meeting, to make atonement in the set-apart place,
is eaten, it is burned with fire.
Chapter 7.The law of trespass offering.
As we
already have seen the Hebrew word for “trespass is the word “asham”: guilt, fault, offend, and not
the word “ma’al”: treachery,
falsehood, to cover up, to act covertly.
Verses 1-10. The offerings
were to be eaten by the priest, the sin offering and the trespass offering.
Remember that eating means to take part in the offering for the sin! Verse 8 we
see that it is the priest that offered the sacrifices it is directly related to
יהושע
who gave himself for
us. 11.
The law of the sacrifice of peace offering.
All shall be unleavened + animal blameless and a leavened cake with the
slaughtering for the peace offering. Oblation
is the Hebrew word “Qorban” strong’s
#H7133 something brought near, present. 14. for a heave offering. Heave:
Strong’s #H8641 T’rumah. If
you remember we had the Parasha “t’rumah” giving details concerning this
offering (sh’mot 25:1) “elevation offering”. The particularity of this
offering: Exo 25:2 SpeakH1696 untoH413
the childrenH1121 of Israel ,H3478 that they bringH3947 me an offering:H8641 ofH4480
H854 everyH3605 manH376
thatH834 giveth it willinglyH5068 with his heartH3820
ye shall takeH3947 (H853) my
offering……………..Exo 25:8 “And they shall make Me a Set-apart Place , and I shall dwell in
their midst. .......The “t’rumah” was the offering to build
the Mishkahn. The condition was “a
willing heart”. Is this not יהושע who gave himself freely to build the Temple of Elohim ,
whose temple we are?
The heave offering: The word “T’rumah”
comes from the Hebrew root “ruwm”,
strong’s #H7311, written resh(200), vav(6), mem final(600) (806), to raise, to
bring up, to lift up. The heaven offering was also brought by the priest that
sprinkled the blood. Verse 15-17. the flesh shall be eaten
the same day…..and on the morrow also…..but the reminder of the flesh of the
sacrifice…….on the third day, it
shall not be acceptable neither shall it be imputed unto him that
offers it. This verses bring us
directly to יהושע who told the people to “eat is flesh” (Yochanan 6:56) in order to be one with him. Christians and many
people who do not study Torah have problem to understand what יהושע
was saying, because it
is directly related to the Torah’s sacrifice.
Now why it
is say that the flesh can be eaten the same day and the morrow, but it will not be accepted on the third day? This is the interpretation: The first day
is when יהושע
came and offered himself
as sacrifice, and long till the end of the second day or two thousand years
(one day is like thousand years), but
the third day is when the Kingdom will have started and at this time “to eat
the flesh”, that is to take part in Messiah’s
sacrifice will not more be accepted, because
on the third day when יהושע comes back it will be to judge the
world and reward the faithful. It will be too late, for now we are in the second day, just before his
coming, no time less to reject the sacrifice.
Verses 19-21: Uncleanness
makes everything unacceptable. Uncleanness,
strong’s #H2932 “tum’ah” Tet(9), mem(40), alep(1), He(5), (55) from
#H2930 “tame”, to be foul, especially in a ceremony, or contaminated,
pollute (self),.................Joh 15:3
“You are already clean
because of the Word which I have spoken to you. Eph
5:26 in order to set it apart and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word,1 Footnote: 1Rev. 19:8-9.......Verses 22-27.ever the fat from clean
animals shall not be eaten. How much more the fat from unclean animals! Isa 66:17 those who set themselves apart and cleanse
themselves at the gardens after ‘One’ in the midst, eating flesh of pigs1
and the abomination and the mouse, are
snatched away, together,” declares יהוה. Footnote: 1See 65:4. Isa 65:4 who
sit among the graves, and spend the night in secret places, who eat flesh of pigs1,
and the broth (soup) of unclean meat
is in their pots, Footnote: 1See 66:17.
Christians
today believe that an unclean animal like the pig can be changed unto clean
just by prayer and so break the Torah. They misquote what Shaul say: 1Ti 4:3
forbidding to marry, saying to
abstain from foods which Elohim created to be received with thanksgiving by
those who believe and know the truth. 1Ti 4:4 because every creature of Elohim is good, and none is to be rejected if it
is received with thanksgiving,
1Ti 4:5 for it is set apart by the Word
of Elohim and prayer. .....This is how Christians turn the truth upside down, saying that every
creature (meat) is good because it is set apart, Qadosh, (Holy for Christians) by the word of Elohim and prayer. They take the verses out of the context, but let
us read what Shaul say in the first
verse: 1Ti
4:1 But the Spirit distinctly
says that in latter times some shall
fall away from the belief, paying
attention to misleading spirits, and teachings of demons, When Shaul was writing to Timothy
he warned him about what was to come. Was Shaul
speaking about all “creature” or only the “meat” according to vayyqrav/Lev. 11 concerning the clean
animals? Christians say that “it is set apart by the word and prayer”. I have
seen many “pastors” and leader taking part in fellowship during “grill parties”
and with a ceremonious voice “praying over a “pig barbecue” declared it to be
eaten!....They forgot what Shaul says
in verses 3 from chapter 4……to abstain
from foods created to to be received
with thanksgiving by those who believe and
know the truth. .........First Shaul
says: “those who believe” he could have said “those walking in the Torah. Then
he says “and knows the truth”. What is the truth, is it not the Torah (Yochanan 17:17, Psalm 119:142,160,151). Shaul says in the book of Acts that he was blameless according to
the Torah
Php 3:6 according to ardour, persecuting the
assembly; according to righteousness
that is in the law (Torah), having become blameless......Shaul couldn’t have offer to
believers, pig to be eaten! Verse 26.
the blood shall not be eaten…..We know that the nefesh (life) is in the
blood (vayyqra 18:11)….The Hebrew word for blood is “dam” written dalet(4),
mem final(600) (604), the same word for Adam Alep(1), dalet(4), mem final(600)
(605). We see the letter Alep is יהוה, represented by the
number one as for aleph is 1 in
the alphabet. Adam, A+dam received life from יהוה. Adam means
“ruddy” in the sense of red. The blood connecting life (nefesh) and יהושע
gave it for us he paid
the price for our trespasses.
Verses 28-38. The sacrifice of the peace offering shall be
brought by the hand of the one who offer it, and shall be waved (verse30)
before Elohim, in order to be accepted. Joh 20:16 יהושע
said to her, “Miryam!” She
turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which means Teacher). Joh 20:17 יהושע said
to her, “Do not hold on to Me, for
I have not yet ascended to My Father.
But go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your
Father, and to My Elohim and your Elohim.’ ” If Myriam
would have touched יהושע, his sacrifice would no more been acceptable
before Elohim. 37. read Hebrew 9:26, 10:12,14….Lev 7:1 ‘And this is the Torah of the guilt offering – it is
most set-apart. Lev 7:2 ‘The guilt offering is
slaughtered in the place where they slaughter the burnt offering, and its blood
is sprinkled on the altar all around. Lev 7:3
‘Then he brings from it all its fat: the fat tail and the fat that covers the
entrails, Lev 7:4 and the two kidneys and the
fat that is on them by the loins, and the appendage on the liver, which he
removes with the kidneys. Lev 7:5 ‘And the
priest shall burn them on the altar as an offering made by fire to יהוה. It
is a guilt offering. Lev 7:6 ‘Every male among
the priests eats it. It is eaten in the set-apart place, it is most set-apart. Lev 7:7 ‘The guilt offering is like the sin offering,
there is one Torah for them both: the priest who makes atonement with it, it is
his. Lev 7:8 ‘And the priest who brings
anyone’s burnt offering, the skin of the
burnt offering which he has brought is the priest’s, it is his.
Lev
7:9 ‘And every grain offering
that is baked in the oven and all that is prepared in the stewing-pot, or on a
griddle, is the priest’s who brings it, it is his. Lev
7:10 ‘And every grain offering mixed with oil, or dry, is for all the
sons of Aharon, for all alike. Lev 7:11 ‘And
this is the Torah of the slaughtering of
peace offerings which is brought to יהוה: Lev
7:12 ‘If he brings it for a
thanksgiving, then he shall bring with the slaughtering of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened thin cakes anointed with
oil, or cakes of finely blended flour mixed with oil. Lev
7:13 ‘Besides the cakes, he brings as his offering leavened bread
together with the slaughtering of
thanksgiving of his peace offering. Lev 7:14
‘And from it he shall bring one cake from each offering as a contribution to יהוה:
to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering, it is his. Lev 7:15 ‘As for the flesh of the slaughtering of his
peace offering for thanksgiving, it is
eaten the same day it is offered, he does not leave any of it until morning. Lev 7:16 ‘And if the offering he brings is a vow or a voluntary offering, it is
eaten the same day that he brings his slaughtering, and what is left of it is
eaten the next day, Lev 7:17 but whatever is
left of the flesh of the slaughtering on the third day is burned with fire. Lev 7:18 ‘However, if any of the flesh of his peace offering is eaten at all on the third
day, it is not accepted. It is not reckoned to him who brings it, it is unclean
to him, and the being who eats of it bears his crookedness. Lev 7:19 ‘And the flesh that touches that which is unclean
is not eaten, it is burned with fire. And as for the clean flesh, all who are
clean eat of it. Lev 7:20 ‘But the being who
eats the flesh of the peace offering that belongs to יהוה,
while he is unclean, that being shall be
cut off from his people. Lev 7:21 ‘And when
a being who touches that which is
unclean, of the uncleanness of man, or of the uncleanness of beast, or of
any unclean swarming creature, and shall eat the flesh of the peace offering
that belongs to יהוה,
that being shall be cut off from his people.’ ” Lev
7:22 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, Lev 7:23 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying,
‘Do not eat any fat, of bull or sheep or goat. Lev
7:24 ‘And the fat of a dead body, and the fat of what is torn, is used
for any purpose, but you do not eat it
at all. Lev 7:25 ‘For whoever eats the fat
of the beast of which men bring as an offering made by fire to יהוה,
even the being who eats it shall be cut off from his people. Lev 7:26 ‘And do
not eat any blood in any of your dwellings, of bird or of beast. Lev 7:27 ‘Any being who eats any blood, even that
being shall be cut off from his people.’ ” Lev 7:28
And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,
Lev
7:29 “Speak to the children of
Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘He who brings his peace offering to יהוה
brings his offering to יהוה from
the slaughtering of his peace offering. Lev 7:30
‘With his own hands he bring the offerings made by fire to יהוה.
He brings the fat with the breast, to be waved as a wave offering before יהוה.
Lev
7:31 ‘And the priest shall burn the fat on the altar, but the breast shall be
Aharon’s and his sons.’
Lev
7:32 ‘And the right thigh you
give to the priest as a contribution from your peace offerings.
Lev
7:33 ‘He among the sons of
Aharon, who brings the blood of the peace offering, and the fat, the right
thigh is his for a portion. Lev 7:34 ‘For the
breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution I have taken from
the children of Yisra’ĕl, from their peace offerings, and I give them to Aharon the priest and to his sons, as a law forever,
from the children of Yisra’ĕl.’ ” Lev 7:35 This is the anointed portion for Aharon and
the anointed portion for his sons, from the offerings made by fire to יהוה,
on the day when Mosheh presented them to serve as priests to יהוה,
Lev 7:36 which יהוה
commanded to be given to them by the children of Yisra’ĕl, on the day that He
anointed them, a law forever throughout their generations.
Lev
7:37 This is the Torah of the
burnt offering, of the grain offering, and of the sin offering, and of the
guilt offering, and of the ordinations, and of the peace offering, Lev 7:38 which
יהוה commanded Mosheh on Mount Sinai , on the day when He commanded the children of
Yisra’ĕl to bring their offerings to יהוה, in
the Wilderness of Sinai. …….Chapter 8. : Verse 6: see Ephesian 5:26…..10-12.
The anointing was done using the olive oil and poured out on everything or upon
the priest in order to anoint them for the service or the use. It represents
the power of the Ruach HaQodesh, set apart Spirit: Joe 2:28 “And
after this it shall be that I pour out
My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men dream dreams, your young men see visions.

14-15.and he brought the bullock for the sin offering
and Aharon and his sons laid their
hands……to make reconciliation upon it.....Here the “sin offering is “chattah” : chaṭṭâ'th
khat-taw-aw', khat-tawth'
From H2398;
an offence (sometimes
habitual sinfulness), and its penalty, occasion, sacrifice, or expiation; also (concretely) an offender:
- punishment (of sin), purifying (-fication for sin), sin (-ner, offering).
The word
for reconciliation used here is the Hebrew word Strong’s #H3722 “kaphar”,
to cover, to expiate, to placate or cancel. We saw this concept
in the parasha Noach concerning the ark when Noach
was commanded to “pitch” the ark
within and without (B’reshit 6:14). The concept is the same, as the ark
foreshadows the work of Messiah who
saves those who are “in him”.....17.
but the bullock and his hide……he burns with fire without the camp……Again we see
the concept of impalement outside the camp (city). יהושע ... was impaled outside the wall of Yerushalayim. Read Hebrew 13:11-12. Verses 23-24: The right side is the
side of mercy in the “tree of life” and throughout the Tanak, the right ear, thumb
and great toe represent: hearing, doing, walking!
27. and he put all upon Aharon’s hand and upon his son’s hand and waved them……We see the
action of waving the offering for acceptance before Elohim. If it was not accepted, the priest died (read chapter
10:1-2).

the sin offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread, Lev 8:3 and assemble all the congregation at the door

of the bull for the sin offering, Lev 8:15 and
it was slaughtered. And Mosheh took the
blood, and put some on the horns of the altar all around with his finger, and
cleansed the altar. And he poured the blood at the base of the altar, and
set it apart, to make atonement for it. Lev 8:16
And he took all the fat that was on the entrails, and the appendage on the

pieces. And Mosheh burned the head, and the pieces, and the fat,
Lev
8:21 and he washed the
entrails and the legs in water. And Mosheh burned the entire ram on the altar.
It was a burnt offering for a sweet fragrance, and an offering made by fire to יהוה,
as יהוה had commanded Mosheh.Lev 8:22 And he brought the second ram, the ram of
ordination, and Aharon and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram, Lev 8:23 and it was slaughtered. And Mosheh took some of its blood and put it on the tip of Aharon’s
right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right
foot.
Lev
8:24 And he brought near the
sons of Aharon, and Mosheh put some of the blood on the tips of their right
ears, and on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their
right feet. And Mosheh sprinkled the blood on the altar all around, Lev 8:25 and took the fat and the fat tail, and all
the fat that was on the entrails, and the appendage on the liver, and the two
kidneys and their fat, and the right thigh, Lev 8:26
and from the basket of unleavened bread that was before יהוה
he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of bread anointed with oil, and one
thin cake, and put them on the fat and on the right thigh, Lev 8:27 and placed all these in the hands of Aharon
and in the hands of his sons, and waved
them as a wave offering before יהוה.
Lev
8:28 Mosheh then took them
from their hands and burned them on the altar, on the burnt offering. They were
ordinations for a sweet fragrance. It was an offering by fire to יהוה.
Lev 8:29 And Mosheh took the breast and waved
it, a wave offering before יהוה. It
was Mosheh’s portion of the ram of ordination, as יהוה
had commanded Mosheh. Lev 8:30 And Mosheh took
some of the anointing oil and some of the blood which was on the altar, and
sprinkled it on Aharon, on his garments, and on his sons, and on the garments
of his ons with him. And he set apart Aharon, his garments, and his sons, and
the garments of his sons with him.
Lev
8:31 And Mosheh said to Aharon and his sons, “Cook the flesh at the door of the
Tent of Meeting, and eat it there with the bread that is in the basket of the
ordinations, as I have commanded, saying, ‘Aharon and his sons are to eat it.’
Lev 8:32 “Then burn the rest of the flesh and
the bread with fire. Lev 8:33 “And do not go outside the door of the Tent
of Meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are completed
– for he fills your hands for seven days. Lev 8:34
“יהוה has commanded to do, as he
has done this day, to make atonement for you. Lev 8:35
“And stay at the door of the Tent of Meeting day and night for seven days. And
you shall guard the duty of יהוה, and
not die, for so I have been commanded.”
Lev
8:36 And Aharon and his sons
did all the words that יהוה had
commanded by the hand of Mosheh.
Haftorah
Yrme’yahu 7:21-8:3
Verses 22
and 23 we see that the first things יהוה required when the children of Israel came out of Mitszarim (Egypt )
was: To obey and walk in all the ways that Elohim
commanded. (Read 1st Shmu’el 15:22-23, Hoshea 6:6, Mattityhau 12:7,
Mark 12:33. Rebellion brings death. Sacrifices were not require and were add
because of rebellion with the golden calf! …..Mal’akhi 3:4-18, 4:1-6…..To understand why יהוה accuse the people to rob him we must
know the context. Chapter 2:1 we see that it is addressed to the priest.
Christians don’t even know that the priest were also to bring tithe. We have
confirmation in chapter 3:10, where we see that the tithe were to be brought into
the storehouse “that they may be meat in mine House”, the House here refers
to the Temple ,
the dwelling place of יהוה. We can read in the book
of Nehemiah: Neh 10:35 And
to bringH935 (H853) the firstfruitsH1061 of our ground,H127 and the firstfruitsH1061 of allH3605

The Levites
shall bring up the Tithe of the Tithe! This is the tithe brought by the Levite
referred in Mal’akhi chapter 3, The
storehouse as we read in Nehemiah is
the House of Elohim. Does it sound
strange, for it is a Torah command?.......Num 18:26 “Speak to the
Lĕwites and say to them, ‘When you take from the children of Yisra’ĕl the
tithes which I have given you from them as your inheritance, then you shall present a contribution of it to יהוה, a tenth (tithe) of the tithe…..This tithe from the tithe was called “heave offering”, but was
the tenth or tithe from the tithe. This is what the prophet Mal’akhi was referring too…..We can read
further:
Neh 13:5 and
he had prepared for him a large room,
(storehouse) where previously they had
stored the grain offerings, the frankincense, and the utensils, and the tithes of grain, the new wine
and the oil, which were commanded to
be given to the Lĕwites and the singers and the gatekeepers, and the
contributions for the priests. Neh 13:10 And
I perceivedH3045
thatH3588 the portionsH4521 of the LevitesH3881 had notH3808
been given (that is the tithe)H5414: for the LevitesH3881 and the singers,H7891 that didH6213
the work,H4399 were fledH1272 every oneH376
to his field.H7704 Neh 13:11 Then contendedH7378
I withH854 the rulers,H5461 and said,H559
WhyH4069
is the houseH1004 of ElohimH430 forsaken?H5800 And I gathered them together,H6908 and setH5975
them inH5921 their place.H5977 ..........Can you se the connection
with what יהוה say through the mouth of the prophet Mal’akhi?.......The first tithe to be brought by the
children of Israel
was to show faithfulness to יהוה and to share with the Levites, the stranger en the fatherless (D’varim 14:29, Psalm
146:7-9, 68:5 )
We learn in
the Torah that the tithe comes from
the increase of the field, not from the sea for the fish or from the wage for
work! This is very interesting to know,
because many congregations want their members pay tithe, which is not required
at all. First there is no Temple (Storehouse) to
bring the tithe, and then we are not in Eretz
(land) Israel . In D’varim
14: 22-29 we learn the command to bring tithe. Verse 22, the word for increase
is the Hebrew word: Strong’s#H8593 ‘t’buah” from #H935 “bo”…..
Meaning, increase from the seed of
the field; Tithe was not required from money. Christians claims and
unfortunately also messianic congregations that it is the same today when
bringing tithe from the salary, but this is not what the Torah say. Do you want
to add to the Torah? The prophet Mal’akhi
goes on to say that the time will come when people will make a difference
between those who serve Elohim, and
those who do not, between the righteous and the wicked. The prophet goes on
exhorting the people to remember the Torah
(4:4). Habakkuk says: for the vision
is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: thought
it tarry wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
What is
spoken of old will come to pass in its time. Elohim makes all things in His time. At the end read Hebrew 8:1-6
to see that apostle like Shaul, Kefa, Yochanan, Ya’acov and others,
understood that the Torah was
revealing Elohim’s mighty plan for
his people and all who join themselves to them.
Jer 7:21 Thus said יהוה of hosts, the Elohim of
Yisra’ĕl, “Add your burnt offerings to your slaughterings and eat meat.
Jer
7:22 “For I did not speak to your fathers, or command them in the day that I
brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim, about matters of burnt offerings or
slaughterings. Jer 7:23 “But this word I
did command them, saying, ‘Obey My voice,1
and I shall be your Elohim, and you be My people. And walk in all the ways that
I have commanded you, so that it be well with you.’ Footnote:
1Aḇraham did so (Gen. 26:5), and יהוה again laid
down this condition for Yisra’ĕl to be His people (Ex. 19:5), and the same
applies to us (Jn. 3:36, Rom. 6:16, Heb. 4:11, Heb. 5:9, Rev. 22:14).Jer 7:24 “But they did not obey or incline their ear, but
walked in the counsels, in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went
backward and not forward. Jer 7:25 “From the
day that your fathers came out of the land of Mitsrayim until this day, I have
even sent to you all My servants the prophets, daily rising up early and
sending them. Jer 7:26 “But they did not obey
Me or incline their ear, but stiffened their neck. They did evil, more than their fathers. Jer
7:27 “And you shall speak all these words to them, though they do not
listen to you. And you shall also call to them, though they do not answer you. Jer 7:28 “But you shall say to them, ‘This is a
nation that did not obey the voice of יהוה
their Elohim, nor did they accept instruction. Truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth.
Jer
7:29 ‘Cut off your hair and
throw it away, and take up a lamentation on the bare heights, for יהוה
has rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath.’ Jer 7:30 “For the children
of Yehuḏah have done what is evil in My eyes,” declares יהוה.
“They have set their abominations in the house which is called by My Name, to
defile it. Jer 7:31 “And they have built the
high places of Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn
their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, nor did it
come into My heart. Jer 7:32 “Therefore see,
the days are coming,” declares יהוה,
“when it shall no longer be called Topheth, or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom,
but the Valley of Slaughter, for they shall bury in Topheth until no room is
left. Jer 7:33 “And the corpses of this people
shall be food for the birds of the heavens and for the beasts of the earth,
with none to frighten them away. Jer 7:34 “And
in the cities of Yehuḏah and in the streets of Yerushalayim I shall make to
cease the voice of rejoicing and the voice of gladness, the voice of the
bridegroom and the voice of the bride. For the land shall become a waste! Jer 8:1 “At that time,” declares יהוה,
“they shall bring the bones of the sovereigns of Yehuḏah, and the bones of its
heads, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the
bones of the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, out of their graves, Jer 8:2 and shall
spread them before the sun and the moon and all the host of the heavens,
which they have loved and which they have served and after which they have
walked, which they have sought, and to which they have bowed themselves. They
shall not be gathered nor buried, they shall be for dung on the face of the
earth. Jer 8:3 “And death shall be preferred to
life by all the rest of those who remain of this evil people, who remain in all
the places where I have driven them,” declares יהוה
of hosts.
Jer 9:22 Speak, “Thus declares יהוה,
‘The corpses of men shall fall as dung on the face of the field, like cuttings
after the reaper, with none to gather them.’ ” Jer
9:23 Thus said יהוה,
“Let not the wise boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty boast in his might,
nor let the rich boast in his riches, Mal 3:4 “Then shall the offering of Yehuḏah and Yerushalayim be pleasant to יהוה, as
in the days of old, as in former years. Mal 3:5
“And I shall draw near to you for right-ruling. And I shall be a swift witness
against the practisers of witchcraft, and against adulterers, and against them
that swear to falsehood, and against those who oppress the wage earner in his
wages and widows and the fatherless, and those who turn away a sojourner and do
not fear Me,” said יהוה of
hosts. Mal 3:6 “For I
am יהוה,
I shall not change1, and you, O
sons of Yaʽaqoḇ, shall not come to an end. Footnote: 1Jas.
1:17.Mal 3:7 “From the days of your
fathers you have turned aside from My laws and did not guard them. Turn back to Me, and I shall turn back to
you,” said יהוה of hosts. “But you said, ‘In what shall we turn back?’ Mal 3:8 “Would a man rob Elohim? Yet you are robbing
Me! But you said, ‘In what have we robbed You?’ In the tithe and the offering! Mal 3:9 “You have cursed Me with a curse, for you are
robbing Me, this nation, all of it! Mal 3:10
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, and let there be food in My house.
And please prove Me in this,” said יהוה of
hosts, “whether I do not open for you the windows of the heavens, and shall pour
out for you boundless blessing! Mal 3:11 “And I
shall rebuke the devourer for you, so that it does not destroy the fruit of
your ground, nor does the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” said יהוה
of hosts.Mal 3:12 “And all nations shall call you
blessed, for you shall be a land of delight,” said יהוה
of hosts. Mal 3:13 “Your words have been harsh
against Me,” said יהוה,
“but you have said, ‘What have we spoken against You?’ Mal
3:14 “You have said, ‘It is worthless to serve Elohim. And what did we
gain when we guarded His Charge, and when we walked as mourners before יהוה
of hosts? Mal 3:15 ‘and now we are calling the
proud blessed – not only are the doers of wrongness built up, but they also try
Elohim and escape.’ ” Mal 3:16 Then shall those
who fear יהוה speak to one another, and יהוה listen and hear, and a book of remembrance be written before Him, of those who fear יהוה, and those who think upon His Name. Mal 3:17 “And they shall be Mine,” said יהוה
of hosts, “on the day that I prepare a treasured possession. And I shall spare
them as a man spares his own son who serves him. Mal
3:18 “Then you shall again see
the difference between the righteous and the wrong, between one who serves
Elohim and one who does not serve Him. Heb 8:1 Now the summary of what we are
saying is: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the
throne of the Greatness in the heavens,
Heb 8:2 and who serves in the set-apart place and of the true Tent, which יהוה set
up, and not man.
Heb
8:3 For every high priest is
appointed to offer both gifts and slaughters. So it was also necessary for this
One to have somewhat to offer.
Heb
8:4 For if indeed He were on
earth, He would not be a priest, since there are priests who offer the gifts
according to the Torah,
Heb
8:5 who serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly, as Mosheh was warned
when he was about to make the Tent. For He said, “See that you make all
according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”
Heb
8:6 But now He has obtained a
more excellent service, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant,
which was constituted on better promises.
May יהוה Elohim and our Adon
(Master) יהושע blessed as you walk in the path of life!
