23 PARASHA PEKUDEI - THIS IS THE SUM

23Parsha Pekudei -
Sh’mot 38 :21 – 40 :38
1 M’lakhim 7 :51-8 :21, 2nd Corint. 3:7-18
Daniel ben Ya’acov Israel

The “Parasha Pekudei” is the last “parasha” concerning the material for the building of the “Mishkan”, the Tabernacle and the Priest. It is also the last “parasha” from the book of Sh’mot (Exodus). It is amazing to me that יהוה gave so much detail concerning the Mishkan’s construction. Of course it was important in order that Betzal’el, and Oholiab, were able to do according to what יהוה wanted. When we go to the “sod” we will see that יהוה embedded something that will be revealed centuries later when יהושע will come.  Sha’ul (Paul) says that the “veil” is removed only when we come to Messiah יהושע (2nd Cor.3:14-15). Much has been written throughout the centuries. When we read from such “great scholars” according to Christian’s view, we are amazed of their limited knowledge. Even going back to the great historian Josephus, who lived in יהושע’s century (His book on “War of the Jews” was published in the year 75 C.E), we can see that Josephus didn’t spoke about “sod/mystery revelation”. Like a doctor he gave great details from the literal text but never alluded to Messiah יהושע in the Torah.  Today, we find in internet many “pretenders”, so called “prophets” among Christians or unfortunately even “messianic” some of them like to be called “Rabi”. I say and repeat again and again that the source of knowledge is the Torah and no other place. Those pretending to understand or even to have received “revelation” only in the “new testament” are deceived.
Unfortunately I met many lovely brethren and sisters in the body of Messiah who resist Torah’s study, and like to debate on different points which can only be revealed through the Torah, even in the “sod” of the Torah, not in the literal text.  One example from many is given by יהושע himself when saying: “I am the light of the world” (Yochanan 8;12), he was referring to b’reshit/Genesis 1:14 but also to the Menorah in the Mishkan /Tabernacle, which was to burn day and night. If we take the literal text, we will only understand the past way of our forefathers or the literal formation of the earth in the book of b’reshit, and will miss the “sod”, the mystery revealed in יהושע (not Jesus), when we follow him in the Torah. יהושע says to his “Talmidin” (disciples): “to you it has been given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven….” (Matt 13:11).
The Greek word used for “mysteries” is Strong’s #G3466 “musterion” which stand for the Hebrew word “sod”, mystery, something hidden.
Read what the prophet Yeshayahu write:
Isa 28:9 whom would He teach knowledge? And whom would He make to understand the message? Those weaned from milk, those taken from the breasts!
Is not what Sha’ul wrote: 1Co 3:2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food, for until now you were not able to receive it (solid food), and even now you are still not able,
Heb 5:12 For indeed, although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first elements of the Words of Elohim. And you have become such as need milk and not solid food.
The prophet Yeshayahu write that only those weaned from the milk will be able to understand the message, those taken from the breast!  Are you taken from the breast, are you feeding on strong meat, or are you still drinking milk?
This is the question! I have seen many brethren arguing, even quarrelling when speaking concerning scriptures or debating concerning “understanding”, when they themselves are still themselves in need of milk!  In the natural we don’t become adult in one day it takes years of growing process, learning with patience until we become adults.
Do you think it is different in the spiritual?  1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child. But when I became a man, I did away with childish matters.
Can you see the progress? Sha’ul was taught by Gamaliel a Pharisee and doctor of the Torah. Act 22:3 “I am indeed a Yehuḏite, having been born in Tarsos of Kilikia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamli’ĕl, having been instructed according to the exactness of the Torah of our fathers, being ardent for Elohim, as you all are today,  Many years, Sha’ul learned the Torah sitting at Gamali’el’s feet!
Are you sitting at somebody’s feet to learn, or do you want to make your own way?   Look what Myriam (Mary) did:
Luk 10:39 and she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Yehoshua' feet, and heard his word. ……..
We should humble ourselves, trusting Abba יהוה to send people across our way to teach us until we are able to “fly alone”.  Let us now go back to our weekly “parasha” and scrutinize the scripture to see what we can found.  Before we start I have a question: Do you think the building of the Mishkahn/Tabernacle was a new thing that just came through יהוה’s mind? No remember it was shown to Moshe on the Mount.
For the Children of Israel it was new for they were on their journey to the Promise Land, but every thing was already created and came to pass at the appointed time.
Isa 42:8 I am YHWH: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
Isa 42:9 behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. Isa 46:10 declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:..........
In the book of b’reshit (Beginning) chapter one we find the creation of all things, hidden or concealed, things which will be revealed at their right times or seasons. I have explained in former parasha that the Torah and even up to the brit Hachadsha (N.T) is a progressive revelation a concealed message for the coming generations. The Mishkahn was something mystical for the Children of Israel who approached it in the natural way (without faith):
Heb 3:17 but with whom was he grieved forty years? Was it not with them that had sinned (transgressed the Torah), whose carcases fell in the wilderness?Heb 3:18 and to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?Heb 3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
So approaching the study of the Mishkahn/Tabernacle we should ask: What does יהוה want me to know or understand, what is the meaning of all this material, why so much details?  The carnal man, represented in the Torah by our forefathers unlike Moshe the Children of Israel were not preoccupied with the spiritual aspect of the building of the Mishkahn or even the service............
Chapter 28. The “Parasha” start with the sum of all what was brought to build the Tabernacle. Tabernacle is in Hebrew the word “Mishkan” Strong’s #H4908 written mem (40), shin(300), caph(20), nun( final 700), total: 1060 which is : 10X10X10+10X6 , quite interesting, Ten been the number for the sum of all number and six the number of man. Ten is also the number representing the highest that man can reach on earth to reach divine purpose (e.g. Ten comandments)
It seems that the Tabernacle is revealed in the Gematria as the place of divine appointment between man (6) and divine (10).  The “Mishkan” is a residence, habitation, dwelling place.  It is interesting to see how Elohim (G-d) once again wrap up truth in His word. We know that יהוה will dwell in a habitation build not with the hands of man:  Eph 2:21 in whom all the building, being joined together, grows into a set-apart Dwelling Place (Temple) in יהוה, Eph 2:22 in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling (Temple) of Elohim in the Spirit……But that’s not all, we can also read:  Rev 21:1 and I saw a renewed heaven and a renewed earth, for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. Rev 21:2 and I, Yocḥanan, saw the set-apart city, renewed Yerushalayim, coming down out of the heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Rev 21:3 and I heard a loud voice from the heaven saying, “See, the Booth (Tent, Temple) of Elohim is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and Elohim Himself shall be with them and be their Elohim
The “Mishkan”, the tabernacle is called the “place of witness”, have we ever asked, what is, or are the “witness”, or witness of what? Are the materials, instruments listed in this chapter and the previewed chapters, the witness, if yes the question should be: Witness of what?  Moshe write the “Mishkan”, dwelling place, Tabernacle of the witness!  Could it be that the witness is pointing to the coming Messiah and the Assembly, centuries later, in order to “witness” for the generation of this time that there was no coincidence in the work commanded by יהוה?  If we recall our past study, it is clear that the Miskhan, the material and utensils pointed to Messiah יהושע and the “Kehilat”, the Assembly, the House of Ya’acov, Israel.  Remember the word of the prophet YeshayahuIsa 46:9 “Remember the former events of old, for I am Ěl, and there is no one else – Elohim, and there is no one like Me, Isa 46:10 declaring the end from the beginning, and from of old that which has not yet been done, saying, ‘My counsel does stand, and all My delight I do,’
The Tabernacle was build for the Levites. Today those following Adon יהושע are also called “Priest” after the priesthood of Melkitzedek (King of Righteousness), the first group under Moshe serving the flesh with animals sacrifices, the second following Messiah יהושע after the Ruach with spiritual sacrifices (Rom. 12:1, 1st Kefa 2:9, Rev. 5:10) Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of YHWH, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto YHWH, which is your reasonable service. 1Pe 2:9 but ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:  Rev 5:10 and hast made us unto our Elohim kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth..............
You may think that you are not living like Kings but you are, because it is written and we can start to be Priest and learn how to be sanctified in our daily life. Many things are still concealed to the world and will be revealed on the right season. On this day people will see that you are KingsPriests were in charge of teaching Torah to the people of Elohim:
Deu 33:8 and of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;
Deu 33:9 who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant. Deu 33:10 They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar. Neh 8:9 and Neh, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezr the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto YHWH your Elohim; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law...............No man save the Levites could enter the Qadosh place the Children of Israel were limited to the inner court were the Priest were bringing sacrifices.
21……….by the hand of Ithamar, Strong’s #H385 meaning: coast of palm tree.
Now to understand the metaphor we read:  Psa 92:12 The righteous one flourishes like a palm tree, He grows like a cedar in Leḇanon.
We see that the righteous are compared to palm tree.
22. …..and Betzal’el….son of Uhr of the tribe of Yehuda,   Betzal’el:Strong’s # H1212 written bet(2), tzade(90), lamed(30), alep(1), (153) meaning “in the image of El” or Shadow of El. There are two points, the first is the name itself: the “shadow of El” or “in the image of El” and secondly the gematria used by Yochanan in the book of Yochanan 21:11, which demonstrate once again that the disciples were well taught in the “sod” interpretation of the Torah.
Christianity rejects all this aspect of interpretation. We should always remember who is the greatest part of Christianity namely? Rebellious Ephraim:...
Hos 7:8 “Ephrayim mixes himself among the people Ephrayim has become a cake unturned.
Hos 13:12 “The crookedness of Ephrayim is bound up (stored up), his sin is hidden.
Don’t be frustrated, we almost all come from Christianity turning back to our roots!  Betzal’El, (in the image of El): This was not hidden from Sha’ul who understood the “sod” interpretation as we read in Heb. 1:3, Coloss. 1:15, 2nd Cor.4:4.and many others places There is no doubt at all, Sha’ul had seen in the Torah that the one called “Betzal”El” was foreshadowing the coming Messiah who will build Elohim’ spiritual Temple, you and me, the body of Messiah.
There is no doubt that Elohim was pointing to יהושע by choosing Betzal’El to build the Mishkan, the dwelling place.
In Yochanan 21:11, it is after יהושע’s resurrection, now the disciples are ready to receive the Ruach HaQodesh (Set apart Spirit) and do the work assigned unto them by יהושע. The 153 fishes represent the fishes which are a picture of the righteous believers who will “fall” into the “net” of the disciples (read the midrash on 153 fishes). Remember b’reshit 48:16 where the Hebrew text read:”…..and let them as fishes do increase into a multitude in the midst of the earth”.  The net is a euphemism for the Torah (Habakk.1:14-15) which was not broken, the Torah was accepted. We compare with Luke 5:5-6”…………….and when they had this done they caught a great multitude of fish, and their net break.”....
Here Ephraim is compared to birds:
Hos 7:12 “When they go I spread My net (Torah) over them, I bring them down like the birds of the heavens, I chastise them as their congregation has heard. ............
23…..and with him Aholiab son of Ahishamach of the tribe of Dan…..
Aholiab, Strong’s # H171 meaning: Tent of his father. Tent in the sense of dwelling from
# H168 Ohel meaning: covering, dwelling place, tabernacle.  It is note worthy to see that Aholiab is from the tribe of Dan of whom it is written in b’reshit 49:16.Dan shall judge his people as one of the tribe of Israel
Dan:Strong’s #H1835 דּן dân dawn  From H1777; judge; Dan, one of the sons of Jacob; also the tribe descended from him, and its territory; likewise a place in Palestine colonized by them: - Dan.....
So if we look carefully at Betzal’el (Shadow or Image of El) and to Aholiab (Tent of his Father) from the tribe of Dan (Judge) we see the shadow of the One coming Messiah יהושע
Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;  Joh 5:22 for the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
Act 17:31 because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
No doubt that Betzal’el and Aholiab were shadows of the appointed builder of the spiritual Temple (Tent of my Father), יהושע Messiah.  Many things have been written concerning Dan. Reading Rev. 7:4-8 we see that two tribes are missing: Dan and Ephraim. Many years it has been difficult for me to find the reason which has its explanation, at least for Ephraim in the same chapter verses 9-17, speaking of those from Christianity (Ephraim) who has paid the price for their rebellion against יהוה, going through the great tribulation.  Unfortunately, Christianity today believes to escape the great tribulation in the so called “pre-rapture”, which has no support in the scripture.
Concerning the tribe of Dan it is taught in the orthodox Yehudin’s (Jews) tradition that the anti-messiah will come out of the tribe of Dan. This his learned from the book of Judges 14:5-18 where according to the saying of the ancients, the lion is a metaphor for Yehuda and the bees on the flag for the tribe of DanDan according to tradition will attend to avenge himself on his brother Yehuda by trying to overthrow his power which is in the hand of Messiah יהושע, the Lion of the tribe of Yehuda (Rev.5:5). Nevertheless at the end, all the children of Ya’acov are reunited in Messiah as it is shown in Yechezk’El chapter 48.  .......
Verses 24-29.: Here again we need to remind of what we have learned concerning the “shekel” in order to understand.  Today it is hard to understand what a half shekel represents so we read and do not know. So let me show you how much it represents today from:
The people that History forgot” chapter 9Associates for Scriptural Knowledge” (ASK)....."We [Romans] have given you leave to gather up that tribute which is paid to God [the Temple tax], with such other gifts that are dedicated to him: nor have we called those that carried these donations to account, nor prohibited them; till at length you became richer than we ourselves, even when you were our enemies."Josephus, Wars, VI.6,2 ……..This tribute was the annual half-shekel payment for the upkeep of the Temple which each Jewish male from twenty years of age upward had to pay each year. This money was collected from various sites all over the Roman Empire and conveyed in many instances under guard of the Romans themselves to the Temple treasury in Jerusalem. This tribute alone (besides all the other offerings of money and animals, etc.) that was sent to the Temple amounted to a prodigious quantity of revenue each year. Let us try to understand how much in 1993 U.S. dollars this might have been. The coin in the fish that Peter caught had the value of one shekel (called a stater in Greek Matt.17:27). This would precisely pay the annual tribute for Yeshua and Peter (Matthew 17:27). A stater was equal to four drachmae with each drachma being a little more in value to a Roman denarius. A denarius, according to Yeshua, was what a common labourer would receive in one day (Matthew 20:2). Thus a half-shekel would equal about two days work. Since our minimum wage in late 1993 is just under $5 an hour, a twelve hour day would gain a person about $60 at the present. Thus, two such days would be $120. Based on our "work/pay" today, about $120 is what each Jewish male over twenty would have to pay each year to the Temple treasury. Since it is reasonably estimated that there would have been between 3 and 4 million Jewish males who would pay the tribute each year, this would amount to between $360 to $500 million U.S. dollars just for the half-shekel tribute alone, that is a lot of money! ...The Sanhedrin at the Temple in Jerusalem set the value of the half-shekel each year. The value was determined by the value of the animal sin offerings each year (Shekelim, II.4). If the value of sin offering animals went up because of a scarcity, then the Sanhedrin would require more of the common currency to equal the amount of the shekel at the Temple. The standard of value was set by the Temple authorities so that God would have the same amount being given to the Treasury each year no matter what the value of coinage (either inflated or deflated). Whatever the case, there were great quantities of money coming into Jerusalem each year and this helped make the economy of Judaea and Jerusalem a very prosperous one (and even the surrounding countries of the Gentiles who supplied materials to the Jews in Judaea were equally thriving). This wealth of the Jewish people made many Gentiles at the time want to share in this good fortune among the Jews. ........
If we take today’s wage (2009) we have a day wage for may be 8 US$ per hour, so let say that it represent 8 hours work and so a daily wage of 64 US$. A half “shekel” represents two days work or almost 130US$.  I go into these details, so that we can imagine what was done in the tabernacle......
Keil and Delitzsch give us following details:  Of the silver, all that is mentioned a talent contained 3000 shekels. A hundred talents of this were used for casting 96 sockets for the 48 boards, and 4 sockets for the 4 pillars of the inner court, - one talent therefore for each socket, - and the 1775 shekels for the hooks of the pillars that sustained the curtains, for silvering their capitals, and “for binding the pillars,” i.e., for making the silver connecting rods for the pillars of the court (Exo_27:10-11; Exo_38:10.)......
Gold, verse 24, 29 Talents and 730 Shekels which is according to Keil and Delitzsch:  29 Talents = 29 X 3000 = 83 000 + 730= 83 700 Shekels.
This mean, without considering the value of Gold or silver and copper and taking all material with the same value only considering the wage for two days work....83 700 Shekels X 260US$ (1/2 Shekel equal 130US$) ...21 762 000 US$ for the Gold.  Silver: 100 Talents and 1775 Shekels. 100 Talents X 3000 = 300 000 Shekels.  Total for silver: 300 000 + 1 775= 301 775 Shekels.  301 775 X 260 USD= 78 461 500.  Bronze: 70 Talents X 3000= 21 000 Shekels + 2 400 Shekels = 23 400 Shekels....23 400 X 260 US$ = 6 084 000....Thus we have a total amount of  23 400 Shekels + 301 775 Shekels + 83 700 Shekels = 408 875 Shekels....Or: 408 875 X 260 US$= 106 305 500 US$
This is the value יהוה was considering when asking the children of Israel to pay to build the “Mishkan”.
People may think that’s not possible. Read what Keil and Delitzsch write in their commentary:
If this quantity of the precious metals may possibly strike some readers as very large, and was in fact brought forward years ago as a reason for questioning the historical credibility of our account of the building of the tabernacle, it has been frequently urged, on the other hand, that it looks quite small, in comparison with the quantities of gold and silver that have been found accumulated in the East, in both ancient and modern times. According to the account before us, the requisite amount of silver was raised by the comparatively small payment of half a shekel, about fifteen pence, for every male Israelite of 20 years old and upwards. Now no tenable objection can be raised against the payment of such a tribute, since we have no reason whatever for supposing the Israelites to have been paupers (poor), notwithstanding the oppression which they endured during the closing period of their stay in Egypt. They were settled in the most fertile part of Egypt; and coined silver was current in western Asia even in the time of the patriarchs (Gen_23:16). But with reference to the quantities of gold and copper that were delivered, we need not point to the immense stores of gold and other metals that were kept in the capitals of the Asiatic kingdoms of antiquity, (Note: Thus, to mention only one or two examples, the images in the temple of Belus, at Babylon, consisted of several thousand talents of gold, to say nothing of the golden tables, the bedsteads, and other articles of gold and silver (Diod. Sic. 2, 9; Herod. 1, 181, 183). In the siege of Nineveh, Sardanapalus erected a funeral pile, upon which he collected all his wealth, including 150 golden bedsteads, 150 golden tables, a million talents of gold, and ten times as much silver and other valuables, to prevent their falling into the hands of the foe (Ctesias in Athen. 12, 28, p. 529). According to a statement in Pliny's Hist. Nat. 33, 3, on the conquest of Asia by Cyrus, he carried off booty to the extent of 34,000 lbs. of gold, beside the golden vessels and 500,000 talents of silver, including the goblet of Semiramis, which alone weighed 15 talents. Alexander the Great found more than 40,000 talents of gold and silver and 9000 talents of coined gold in the royal treasury at Susa (Diod. Sic. 17, 66), and a treasure of 120,000 talents of gold in the citadel of Persepolis (Diod. Sic. 17, 71; Curtius, v. 6, 9). For further accounts of the enormous wealth of Asia in gold and silver, see Bähr, Symbolik i. pp. 258ff.)
This was the tribute brought by 603 550 men of twenty years old and more. The gemetria of the number is: 6+3+5+5= 19. ...The number nineteen is 10 + 9 is so: Ten representing the sum of all number or man’s divine accomplishment in the natural (earth), and nine for Judgment. Just to think about, how we can see beautiful thoughts concealed in numbers.  How much more did יהושע paid for all of us, can we pay back? The answer is clearly NO! Today we may have millions of descendants when counting only those who will enter the “promised land”!
There are many other interpretations in the gematria where we can see another aspect of יהוה’s wisdom.
First we must remind ourselves that Gold demonstrate purity and eternal life, the finished work of Messiah Twenty nine talents of gold equal 22 + 7:  Twenty two represents the letter from the Hebrew Alphabet, twenty two letters from Alep to Tav, a euphemism of the finished work of Messiah on earth represented by the number seven (divine perfection on earth) Rev.4:4, Yeshayahu 41;4, 44:6, Rev. 1:8 (Hebr read Alep and Tav).
The gold was used for the inner work of the “Mishkan”, the heart and soul of man.
730 shekels: 10x10X7+5x6+730.
Ten the sum of all number and man’s divine accomplishment in the natural (earth)......Seven the divine perfection on earth....Five the number for mercy and Torah....Six the number for man....
The silver: hundred talent and 1775 Shekels……a “bekah for every man……
Again the gematria open our understanding of what יהוה want us to see.
Silver is a metaphor of the price to be paid by יהושע for our redemption (Sh’mot 30:11-16)....1775=10x10x10+7x10x11+5=1775........
Ten the sum of all number and man’s divine accomplishment in the natural (earth)...........Seven the divine perfection on earth.
Eleven the number of man imperfection, judgment, disorder or location of judgment: The eleven plagues in Egypt.
Five the number for Torah and grace or mercy in the “Tree of life”.
26-29. for the sockets verse 27, and hooks for the pillars...Verse 26, a “bekah” for every man.
In Hebrew it is read: “a bekah for every head (skull) (gulgoleth)”. Here we have the word “gulgoleth”. Gulgoleth is the word we found in the book of Mattityahu:
Mat 27:33 and when they came to a place called Golgotha, that is to say, Place of a Skull (head), .......
Now we can see the “connection” between the verse 26 and the record in the book of Mattityahu which is a proof according to Greg Killian that the place where יהושע was impaled was the Mount of Olive and no other place as pretended by Christianity. Because on this Mount of Olive, which is today at the East of the former Temple, the “head” of the children of Israel was counted by Moshe for the payment of the tribute to יהוהGulgoleth: a Skull (as round) by implication a head (in enumeration of persons), a poll......
Gematria: 466= 10x10 x4+10x6+6.........
Ten: Sum of all number representing Elohim divine order and perfection and man’s divine accomplishment in the natural (earth).........
Four: Test and challenges.....
Six: The number of man...When we know that the silver brought by the children of Israel (carnal man) was used for the sockets and the hooks holding the pillars, representing each soul (verse 26: 603 550 = 6+0+3+5+5+0=19= 1+9=10 which interpreted can be read.........
Six the number for man...
Three the number for past, present and future, but also the number for resurrection (physical and spiritual (Hoshea 6:2, Yochanan 2:20-21).....
19.One the number for Elohim (D’varim 6:4).
Nine: the number for Judgment.  Ten: The divine number representing Elohim divine order and perfection, and man’s divine accomplishment in the natural (earth).
29-31. Brass a metal filled with impurity (alloy) was used for the utensils in the inner court and represents the unperfected work or unfinished work of man in need of purification.
29. Seventy talents: 10 x 7  .....2400 Shekels: 2+4+0+0=6 or,  10x10x10x2+10x10 x 4.
Ten the sum of all numbers representing Elohim divine order and perfection, and man’s divine accomplishment in the natural (earth).  Two, the number for division (Ephraim and Yehuda)....
Four the number for signals a whole, a fullness, and a completion (Greg Killian),(see Sh’mot/Ex.6:6-7 the four steps of redemption). It is noteworthy to see that the last step number four (to be taken as Yehova’s people see parasha Va’era, read Rev.21:2-3) will be accomplished when Messiah comes back.  In the light of the gematria we can see the finished work of יהושע as Messiah the builder of יהוה’s Temple (Rev.21:22).
Exo 38:21 These were the appointments of the Dwelling Place (Mishkan), the Dwelling Place of the Witness, which was appointed by the command of Mosheh, for the service of the Lĕwites, by the hand of Ithamar, son of Aharon the priest. Exo 38:22 and Betsal’ĕl son of Uri, son of Ḥur, of the tribe of Yehuḏah, made all that יהוה had commanded Mosheh. Exo 38:23 and with him: Oholiaḇ son of Aḥisamaḵ, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver and designer, an embroiderer in blue and purple and scarlet material, and in fine linen. Exo 38:24 all the gold prepared for the work, in all the work of the set-apart place – and it was the gold of the wave offering – came to be twenty-nine talents and seven hundred and thirty sheqels, according to the sheqel of the set-apart place. Exo 38:25 and the silver from the ones counted of the congregation was one hundred talents and one thousand seven hundred and seventy-five sheqels, according to the sheqel of the set-apart place: Exo 38:26 a beqa, half a sheqel for a head, according to the sheqel of the set-apart place, for everyone passing over to those counted, from twenty years old and above, for six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty men.
Exo 38:27 and the hundred talents of silver were for casting the sockets of the set-apart place and the bases of the veil: one hundred sockets from the hundred talents, a talent for each socket.  Exo 38:28 and of the one thousand seven hundred and seventy-five sheqels he made hooks for the columns, and overlaid their tops, and made bands for them. Exo 38:29 and the bronze of the wave offering was seventy talents and two thousand four hundred sheqels. Exo 38:30 and with it he made the sockets for the door of the Tent of Meeting, and the bronze altar, and the bronze grating for it, and all the utensils for the altar, Exo 38:31 and the sockets for the courtyard all around, and the bases for the courtyard gate, and all the pegs for the Dwelling Place, and all the pegs for the courtyard all around.
Chapter 39 - The garment of the High Priest: Again the natural pointing to the spiritual: Aaron a shadow of Messiah in the position of the High Priest (Hebr. 5:8-10, 5:1-5, 4:14-15)…Heb 5:8 though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;Heb 5:9 and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Heb 5:10 Called of YHWH a high priest after the order of Melchisedec. Heb 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Yehoshua the Son of YHWH, let us hold fast our profession. Heb 4:15 for we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin
The garment’ study will unveil many things Elohim has for us.  Remember Sha’ul says: “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Elohim” (Rom.10:17). He couldn’t speak of the so called “new testament”, as it was not written at this time. Sha’ul used the Tanak an acronym for Torah, Nevi’im (prophets) and Ketuvi’im (writings) .
The word “faith” in Hebrew is the word Strong’s # H530 emunah and is only one time translated with “faith” in Habbakuk 2:4 “the just shall live by his faith”. It is found many times translated as “faithful” and the more accurate translation is “trust”, to “stand firm”.  The Greek word for “faith” is Strong’s # G4102 “pistis” used 237 times and the # G4103 “pisto” used 53 times and the #G4102 “pistis” to be persuaded; conviction (of religious truth).
#G4103 pistos: Trustworthy, trustful, believe.
We see that there is a direct connection between the word translated as “faith” and the word of Elohim according to Sha’ul: “faith comes by hearing (sh’mah) by hearing (to trust, stand firm, to believe) and hearing by the word (Torah) of Elohim. The office of the High Priest was to come before Elohim on behalf of the Children of Israel (carnal man).  1-2. We find the same colors as the one used in the building of the Set apart place. All with gold, verse 2 which demonstrate that the High Priest will also go into the Set apart place.  3. They did beat the gold…….
This is a picture of what will be done with Messiah (Yeshayahu 53:5).  Isa 53:5 but he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
4-7. The ephod came upon the shoulder. The Hebrew word for “onyx” is Strong’s #H7718 Shoham with the gematria 905. (10x10x9+5)…..Ten the sum of all numbers….Nine Judgments….Five Torah and mercy
The names of the children of Israel were engraved in the onyx stone. When the names are engraved they cannot be removed anymore:
Jer 31:35 Thus said יהוה, who gives the sun for a light by day, and the laws (Chuqah)* of the moon and the stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea, and its waves roar – יהוה of hosts is His Name:
* Chuqah חקּה Feminine of H2706, and meaning substantially the same: - appointed, custom, manner, ordinance, site, statute.   H2706 chôq khoke   From H2710; an enactment; hence an appointment (of time, space, quantity, labor or usage): - appointed, bound, commandment, convenient, custom, decree (-d), due, law, measure, X necessary, ordinance (-nary), portion, set time, statute, task.  ….Appointment:
Gen 1:14 and Elohim said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons (moed/appointment), and for days, and years:   In Hebrew the word “choq” means: something which cannot be grasp by the rational mind! The moon is not only a “planet” but it is a sign for all Children of Israel to determine, month, feast and seasons.
Jer 31:36If these laws vanish from before Me,” declares יהוה, “then the seed of Yisra’ĕl shall also cease from being a nation before Me forever.”   Jer 31:37 Thus said יהוה, “If the heavens above could be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I would also cast off all the seed of Yisra’ĕl for all that they have done,” declares יהוה.
8-14. The breastplate was to bear the name of the children of Israel (carnal man) upon the heart of the High Priest. The names were engraved in each stone, according to their tribe. The breastplate was four squares, a picture of the four corners of the earth.  Rev 21:19 and the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald,   Rev 21:20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.
Rev 21:12 and having a great and high wall, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve messengers, and names written on them, which are those of the twelve tribes of the children of Yisra’ĕl:  15-21.All was made of gold with chains (verse 15), rings (verse 19), to hold together the breastplate, and the ephod.  The reason was that they “might not be loosed from the ephod” (verse 21): The spiritual aspect: The word for ring is the Hebrew word “Tabat” from the word “Taba”, a seal as sunk into wax a signet.  I want also to expound the idea behind the “heart of the High Priest”: For many the heart is the muscle pumping the blood, in a wide sense it is also consider by Christians the place where you “receive Jesus”, but what does the Torah says?   Gen 6:5 and Elohim saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
The heart is the place of “imagination of the thoughts”! Not the brain but the heart!
Jer 17:9 the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?  Jer 17:10 I YHWH search the heart (imaginations and thoughts), I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
The prophet Yrmeyahu speak the same as Moshe concerning the heart. Knowing this we can see that the Ephod on the “heart of the High Priest” has a deeper meaning pointing to what Yehoshua Messiah will do centuries later when entering the heavenly Temple.
Num 23:19 “Ěl is not a man, to lie; nor a son of man, to repent! Has He said, and would He not do it; or spoken, and would not confirm it?   יהוה has made a promise to Abraham, Itzak, and Ya’acov and will accomplish what he has said, so that His name will be glorified over the all earth. HalleluYah!  It is very sad that Christians by rejecting the Torah for a “fake” liberty miss all what Elohim want us to have “blessing and shalom” from above. How can you build your “emunah”, trust outside the Torah.
24-27. Pomegranate: Strong’s # H7416 “rimmown, or “rimmon”. The Pomegranate is a fruit red inside with many small seed (like the children of Israel), which taste is sweet and sour.  28-29. Mitre, bonnets, linen, breeches, were of twined linen: The colour of righteousness.  30-31.The set apart crown of pure gold engraved with the words “Qadosh Ha יהוה”, “Set Apart to יהוה”. This point direct to יהושע who came to do the will of the Father and became the King of Kings. I am amazed to have seen that on the entrance door of the “Temple” of the “Free Masson” in London you can read engraved in stone the words “Qadosh Ha יהוה”!!
32-43. All was done as יהוה has commanded (read Yochanan 14:15,21,23, 15:10, 1st Yochan.5:3)......
Exo 39:1 and of the blue and purple and scarlet material they made woven garments, to do service in the set-apart place. And they made the set-apart garments which were for Aharon, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh.  Exo 39:2 and he made the shoulder garment of gold, of blue and purple and scarlet material, and of fine woven linen.  Exo 39:3 and they beat out sheets of gold and cut it into threads, to work it in with the blue and purple and scarlet material, and the fine linen, the work of a skilled workman. Exo 39:4 they made shoulder pieces for it to join it, it was joined at its two edges. Exo 39:5 and the embroidered band of his shoulder garment that was on it was of the same work of gold, and blue and purple and scarlet material, and of fine woven linen, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh.  Exo 39:6 and they made the shoham stones, set in plated work of gold, engraved as signets are engraved, according to the names of the sons of Yisra’ĕl.  Exo 39:7 and he put them on the shoulders of the shoulder garment, stones of remembrance for the sons of Yisra’ĕl, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh.  Exo 39:8 and he made the breastplate, a work of a skilled workman, like the work of the shoulder garment, of gold, of blue and purple and scarlet material, and of fine woven linen. Exo 39:9 It was square, they made the breastplate double, its length a span, its width a span, doubled.  Exo 39:10 and they filled it with four rows of stones: a row of ruby, a topaz, and an emerald was the first row; Exo 39:11 and the second row a turquoise, a sapphire, and a diamond; Exo 39:12 and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; Exo 39:13 and the fourth row a beryl, a shoham, and jasper – set in plated work of gold in their settings. Exo 39:14 and the stones were according to the names of the sons of Yisra’ĕl, twelve according to their names, engraved like a signet, each one with its own name according to the twelve tribes. Exo 39:15 and they made braided chains of corded work for the breastplate at the ends, of clean gold. Exo 39:16 and they made two settings of gold and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate. Exo 39:17 and they put the two cords of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.
Exo 39:18 and the two ends of the two cords they fastened in the two settings, and put them on the shoulder pieces of the shoulder garment in the front. Exo 39:19 and they made two rings of gold and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on the edge of it, which was on the inward side of the shoulder garment. Exo 39:20 and they made two gold rings and put them on the two shoulder pieces, underneath the shoulder garment, on the front of it, close to its seam above the embroidered band of the shoulder garment. Exo 39:21 and they bound the breastplate by means of its rings to the rings of the shoulder garment with a blue cord, so that it would be above the embroidered band of the shoulder garment, and that the breastplate would not come loose from the shoulder garment, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh. Exo 39:22 and he made the robe of the shoulder garment of woven work, all of blue. Exo 39:23 and the opening of the robe was in the middle, like the opening in a scaled armour, with a woven binding all around the opening, so that it would not tear. Exo 39:24 and they made on the hem of the robe pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet material, twined.  Exo 39:25 and they made bells of clean gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates on the hem of the robe all around between the pomegranates: Exo 39:26 a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, all around the hem of the robe, for the service, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh. Exo 39:27 and they made the long shirt of fine linen, the work of a weaver, for Aharon and his sons, Exo 39:28 and a turban of fine linen, and the turban ornaments of fine linen, and short trousers of fine woven linen, Exo 39:29 and a girdle of fine woven linen with blue and purple and scarlet material, the work of an embroiderer, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh. Exo 39:30 and they made the plate of the set-apart sign of dedication of clean gold, and wrote on it an inscription like the engraving of a signet: SET-APARTNESS TO יהוה. Exo 39:31 and they put on it a blue cord, to fasten it above on the turban, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh. Exo 39:32 and all the work of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting was completed. And the children of Yisra’ĕl did according to all that יהוה had commanded Mosheh, so they did. Exo 39:33 and they brought the Dwelling Place to Mosheh, the tent and all its furnishings, its hooks, its boards, its bars, and its columns, and its sockets, Exo 39:34 and the covering of rams’ skins dyed red, and the covering of fine leather, and the veil of the covering, Exo 39:35 the ark of the Witness with its poles, and the lid of atonement,  Exo 39:36 the table, and all its utensils, and the showbread, Exo 39:37 the clean lampstand with its lamps, the lamps to be put in order, and all its utensils, and the oil for light, Exo 39:38 and the altar of gold, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the covering for the Tent door, Exo 39:39 the bronze altar and its bronze grating, its poles, and all its utensils, the basin with its stand, Exo 39:40 the screens of the courtyard, its columns and its sockets, the covering for the courtyard gate, its cords, and its pegs, and all the utensils for the service of the Dwelling Place, for the Tent of Meeting, Exo 39:41 the woven garments, to do service in the set-apart place: the set-apart garments for Aharon the priest, and his sons’ garments, to serve as priests. Exo 39:42 according to all that יהוה had commanded Mosheh, so the children of Yisra’ĕl did all the work. Exo 39:43 and Mosheh looked over all the work and saw they did it as יהוה had commanded, so they had done. And Mosheh blessed them.
Chapter 40:  With this chapter we will close the book of Sh’mot which records the deliverance from Mitzrayim (Egypt) and prepared the children of Israel (carnal man) to serve יהוה. Unfortunately the short “journey” will go on for forty years, due to the rebellion. How long will we travel in our “journey”; will it take forty year before we can enter the Millennium, the Kingdom of Elohim, or will we learn from the mistake of our forefather and be bold like יהושע’s talmidin (disciples) to reach the goal of our faith, the salvation of our body?  The rearing of the Tabernacle happened in the second year of departing from Egypt, in the first month which is the month of Aviv.  This year (2008 as this parasha was written) as we were expecting the first month of the year, the barley was not ripe (aviv) and we added the Thirteen month, so postponing the Feats of unleavened bread one month. The new moon for the thirteen is expected at the end of the Shabbat and the reading of the “Parsha Pekudei”. Throughout the rearing up of the Tabernacle, we see that there is a pattern to do it, everything has its order and place, as it is purposed to disclose some spiritual truth.  The tabernacle is built from inside, outside. This is a very interesting aspect as we read Sha’ul saying:  1Co 15:46 the spiritual, however, was not first, but the natural, and afterward the h ‘spiritual.   First the natural and after that the spiritual!  Who came first? Was it not the carnal man and after the spiritual?
We are born of the flesh before we can be born of the Ruach “born from above”. The life is from inside, from the heart which is pictured in the Qadosh place where the ark (heart) is to be found.  12-16. Like the Mishkan, Aharon and his sons shall be sanctified in order to pass the door of the Mishkan....
12…….and wash them with water (read verse 31) and
Eph 5:26 in order to set it apart and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word (Torah).
Washing, natural or spiritual is made with “water”. The water is a euphemism for the word of Elohim1Co 6:11 and such were some of you. But you were washed (baptism and acceptance of the Torah), but you were set apart, but you were declared right in the Name of the Master יהושע and by the Spirit of our Elohim. Heb 10:22 let us draw near with a true heart in completeness of belief, having our hearts sprinkled from a wicked conscience and our bodies washed with clean water (Torah).Eze 36:25 “And I shall sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean – from all your filthiness and from all your idols I cleanse you.
To clean Elohim’s people, it can only be through the sprinkling of spiritual water.
17-21.Moshe rears up the “Mishkan” in its order 22-23, the table in the Tent in the north side with the 12 loaves of bread. The twelve loaves of bread: a metaphor for the 12 tribes of Israel. The north side represents the side of Judgment:
Jer 1:14 and יהוה said to me, “Out of the north evil is set loose on all the inhabitants of the land.
Jer 1:15 “For look, I am calling all the clans of the reigns of the north,” declares יהוה. “And they shall come and each one set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Yerushalayim, against all its walls all around, and against all the cities of Yehuḏah. Jer 1:16 “And I shall pronounce My judgments against them concerning all their evil, because they have forsaken Me, burned incense to other mighty ones, and bowed themselves to the works of their own hands….Dan 11:13 “And the sovereign of the North shall return and raise an army greater than the former*, and certainly come at the end of some years with a great army and much supplies. The North of Israel is Turkey former Ottoman Empire who invaded the Land of Israel already once..Jer 10:22 See, it has come, the voice of a report, and a great shaking out of the land of the north, to make the cities of Yehuḏah a waste, a habitation of jackals. .....
24. The south is the opposite from the north. We find here the Menorah (Candlestick) which shall bring light. In the “Tree of life” south is the side of mercy. The Menorah is also a picture of Messiah who is the light of the world (Yochan. 8:12). All the branches of the Menorah are like the “Tree of life” and its ten “sefirot”, divine attributes.  The Menorah was lighted to bring light continually, so its is written :
1Jn 1:7 but if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of יהושע Messiah His Son cleanses us from all sin.
The book of Revelation is full of symbol, especially concerning the heavenly Temple. Knowing the construction of the “Mishkan” and the position of the utensils, we can better understand the vision from Yochanan
31….hand and feet: Action and walk
32. Read: Exo 30:19 “And Aharon and his sons shall wash from it their hands and their feet. Exo 30:20 “When they go into the Tent of Meeting, or when they come near the altar to attend, to burn an offering made by fire to יהוה, they wash with water, lest they die. ……………
No man can come into Elohim’s presence without been washed. One more time we have to see that the ritual here was a natural pointing to the spiritual. Sha’ul says that many in the world are “dead” while still living! Can you see how the spiritual work in the life of יהושע’s disciples?
Today believers come before Elohim having been washed by the blood of יהושע and the word, which is the Torah.
34. The cloud covered the Tent of the congregation.
Cloud in Hebrew is Strong’s # H6051 “anan”, meaning cloud as covering.
35. Moshe was not able to enter the tent because the cloud abode……and the glory of יהוה filled the tabernacle. Compare:
Heb 9:24 For Messiah has not entered into a Set-apart Place made by hand – figures of the true – but into the heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of Elohim on our behalf, Heb 9:25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters into the Set-apart Place year by year with blood not his own. Heb 9:26 for if so, He would have had to suffer often, since the foundation of the world. But now He has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the offering of Himself. Heb 10:19 so, brothers, having boldness to enter into the Set-apart Place by the blood of יהושע, Joh 14:6 יהושע said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me…………
37-38.The cloud represents the presence of Elohim and the move of the Ruach HaQodesh (Set Apart Spirit)…We close the second book of the Torah, Sh’mot which started with the coming out of Egypt one year ago, to serve Elohim. During the first year they committed the sin of the golden calf which brought the Levitical priesthood, pointing to a future time when Elohim will redeem His people and cleanse us by the blood of the Lamb יהושע Messiah, the righteous one…..Exo 40:1 and יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, Exo 40:2On the first day of the first month, you are to raise up the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting,
Exo 40:3 and shall put in it the ark of the Witness, and screen the ark with the veil. Exo 40:4 “And you shall bring in the table and arrange what belongs on it, and bring in the lampstand and light its lamps.  Exo 40:5 “And you shall set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the Witness, and put up the covering of the door to the Dwelling Place.  Exo 40:6 “And you shall set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting,  Exo 40:7 and shall set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and shall put water therein.  Exo 40:8 “And you shall set up the courtyard all around, and shall place the covering of the courtyard gate,  Exo 40:9 and shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the Dwelling Place and all that is in it, and shall set it and all its utensils apart, and it shall be set-apart.  Exo 40:10 “And you shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering and all its utensils, and set the altar apart, and the altar shall be most set-apart.  Exo 40:11 “And you shall anoint the basin and its stand, and set it apart.  Exo 40:12 “And you shall bring Aharon and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water.  Exo 40:13 “and you shall put the set-apart garments on Aharon, and anoint him and set him apart to serve as priest to Me. Exo 40:14 “and you shall bring his sons and put long shirts on them,  Exo 40:15 and shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, and they shall serve as priests to Me. And their anointing shall be for them an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.”  Exo 40:16 and Mosheh did according to all that יהוה had commanded him, so he did.  Exo 40:17 and it came to be in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, that the Dwelling Place was raised up.  Exo 40:18 and Mosheh raised up the Dwelling Place and placed its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and raised up its columns,  Exo 40:19 and spread the tent over the Dwelling Place and put the covering of the tent on top of it, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh.  Exo 40:20 and he took the Witness and put it into the ark, and he put the poles through the rings of the ark, and put the lid of atonement on top of the ark, Exo 40:21 and brought the ark into the Dwelling Place, and placed the veil of the covering to screen off the ark of the Witness, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh.  Exo 40:22 and he put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the north side of the Dwelling Place, outside the veil, Exo 40:23 and set the bread in order upon it before יהוה, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh. Exo 40:24 and he put the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the south side of the Dwelling Place, Exo 40:25 and lit the lamps before יהוה, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh. Exo 40:26 and he put the gold altar in the Tent of Meeting in front of the veil,  Exo 40:27 and burned sweet incense on it, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh.
Exo 40:28 and he set up the covering to the door of the Dwelling Place.
Exo 40:29 and he put the altar of burnt offering before the door of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the grain offering, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh. Exo 40:30 and he put the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water therein for washing. Exo 40:31 and Mosheh, and Aharon, and his sons washed their hands and their feet with water from it, Exo 40:32 as they went into the Tent of Meeting, and as they came near the altar. They would wash, as יהוה had commanded Mosheh. Exo 40:33 and he raised up the courtyard all around the Dwelling Place and the altar, and placed the covering of the courtyard gate. And Mosheh completed the work. Exo 40:34 and the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the esteem of יהוה filled the Dwelling Place. Exo 40:35 and Mosheh was not able to come into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud dwelt on it, and the esteem of יהוה filled the Dwelling Place. Exo 40:36 and when the cloud was taken up from above the Dwelling Place, the children of Yisra’ĕl went onward in all their journeys.
Exo 40:37 but if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not set out till the day that it was taken up. Exo 40:38 for the cloud of יהוה was on the Dwelling Place by day, and fire was on it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Yisra’ĕl, in all their journeys.
Haftorah
The Haftorah brings us to the Temple which is built after the same pattern like the “Mishkan”. Now we have the final place where Elohim want to be among His people and which will be the Final dwelling place in Yerushalayim when all evil has been removed. Today the all world is looking at Yerushalayim with amazement and do not understand what is going on. The world cannot grasp the spiritual because it is discerned to them. HaSatan has blinded the world and they can only look at Israel in a natural way.   We remember that the Temple was reared up for the First time in the First month of the second year. Here we see chapter eight verse one that the ark is brought into the Set apart place in the month of Ethanim, in the seventh month, the period of the Feats of Yom Teruah, feast of Trumpet to Succoth.  This is now the first time Elohim will dwell among His people in Yerushalayim.   Nevertheless it is only the next step heralding the coming of יהושע Messiah centuries later.
It is also a clue to the final coming, the fall feasts in the seventh month pointing to the second coming of Messiah.
Another interesting point is the fact that the Tabernacle was ordained to Moshe the “savior” of the Children of Israel, while the Temple is build by Sholomo King of Israel! יהושע is both: Savior and King….
1Ki 7:51 Thus all the work which Sovereign Shelomoh had done for the House of יהוה was completed. And Shelomoh brought in the set-apart items of his father Dawiḏ: the silver and the gold and the utensils, and he put them in the treasuries of the House of יהוה…. 1Ki 8:1 Then Shelomoh assembled the elders of Yisra’ĕl and all the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Yisra’ĕl, to Sovereign Shelomoh in Yerushalayim, to bring up the ark of the covenant of יהוה from the City of Dawiḏ (Yerushalayim), which is Tsiyon.   1Ki 8:2 and all the men of Yisra’ĕl assembled to Sovereign Shelomoh at the festival in the month of Ěythanim, which is the seventh month.  1Ki 8:3 and all the elders of Yisra’ĕl came, and the priests took up the ark,  1Ki 8:4 and brought up the ark of יהוה, and the Tent of Meeting, and all the set-apart utensils that were in the Tent. And the priests and the Lĕwites brought them up,
1Ki 8:5 and Sovereign Shelomoh, and all the congregation of Yisra’ĕl who had assembled with him, were with him before the ark, slaughtering so many sheep and cattle, that they could not be counted or numbered.
1Ki 8:6 and the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of יהוה to its place, into the Speaking Place of the House, to the Most Set-apart Place, under the wings of the keruḇim,  1Ki 8:7 for the keruḇim spread two wings over the place of the ark, and the keruḇim covered over the ark and its poles. 1Ki 8:8 and the poles extended so that the ends of the poles were seen from the set-apart place, in front of the Speaking Place, but they were not seen from outside. And they are there to this day. 1Ki 8:9 There was naught in the ark, only the two tablets of stone which Mosheh put there at Ḥorĕḇ, where יהוה made a covenant with the children of Yisra’ĕl, when they came out of the land of Mitsrayim. 1Ki 8:10 and it came to be, when the priests came out of the Set-apart Place, that the cloud filled the House of יהוה,  1Ki 8:11 so that the priests were unable to stand and perform the service because of the cloud, for the esteem of יהוה filled the House of יהוה.  1Ki 8:12 and Shelomoh said, “יהוה has said He would dwell in the dark cloud. 1Ki 8:13 I have indeed built you an exalted house, an established place for You to dwell in forever.” 1Ki 8:14 and the sovereign turned around and blessed all the assembly of Yisra’ĕl, while all the assembly of Yisra’ĕl was standing. 1Ki 8:15 and he said, “Blessed be יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, who spoke with His mouth to my father Dawiḏ, and with His hand has filled it, saying, 1Ki 8:16Since the day I brought My people Yisra’ĕl out of Mitsrayim, I have chosen no city from any tribe of Yisra’ĕl in which to build a house for My Name to be there, but I chose Dawiḏ to be over My people Yisra’ĕl.’ 1Ki 8:17 “And it was in the heart of my father Dawiḏ to build a house for the Name of יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl.  1Ki 8:18 “But יהוה said to my father Dawiḏ, ‘Because it has been in your heart to build a house for My Name, you did well that it was in your heart.  1Ki 8:19 ‘Only, you do not build the house, but your son, who is coming from your loins, he does build the house for My Name.’  1Ki 8:20 “Now יהוה has established His word which He spoke, and I have been raised up instead of my father Dawiḏ, and sit on the throne of Yisra’ĕl, as יהוה promised, and built a house for the Name of יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl,  1Ki 8:21 and have appointed there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of יהוה which He made with our fathers, when He brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim.”
2Co.3:7 But if the administering of death in letters*, engraved on stones (the two tablets), was esteemed, so that the children of Yisra’ĕl were unable to look steadily at the face of Mosheh because of the esteem of his face, which was passing away, 2Co 3:8 how much more esteemed shall the administering of the Spirit not be? 2Co 3:9 for if the administering of condemnation had esteem, the administering of righteousness exceeds much more in esteem.
2Co 3:10 for indeed what was made esteemed had no esteem in this respect, in view of the esteem that excels.
2Co 3:11 for if that which is passing away was esteemed, much more that which remains in esteem. 2Co 3:12 Having then such expectation, we use much boldness of speech,  2Co 3:13 and not like Mosheh, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Yisra’ĕl should not look steadily at the end of what was passing away.
2Co 3:14 But their minds were hardened, for to this day, when the old covenant is being read, that same veil remains, not lifted, because in Messiah it is taken away. 2Co 3:15 But to this day, when Mosheh is being read, a veil lies on their heart. 2Co 3:16 and when one turns to the Master, the veil is taken away. 2Co 3:17 Now יהוה is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of יהוה is, there is freedom. 2Co 3:18 and we all, as with unveiled face we see as in a mirror the esteem of יהוה, are being transformed into the same likeness from esteem to esteem, as from יהוה, the Spirit. ………….Verse 3:7 * we cannot be saved by keeping the Torah but by trusting Yehoshua whom Yehovah raised from the dead. The letter kills but the Ruach (Spirit) gives life!  If we look for the word “faith” it appears only twice in the all Tanak, one time in D’varim 32:20 and in Habbakuk 2:4, while it appears many times in the Brit HaChadsha under the Greek word pistis: pistis  pis'-tis    From G3982; persuasion, that is, credence; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Messiah for salvation; abstractly constancy in such profession; by extension the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself: - assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity…..G3982 peithō pi'-tho
A primary verb; to convince (by argument, true or false); by analogy to pacify or conciliate (by other fair means); reflexively or passively to assent (to evidence or authority), to rely (by inward certainty): - agree, assure, believe, have confidence, be (wax) content, make friend, obey, persuade, trust, yield……..
We see that the Hebrew word Emunah and the Greek word carry the same idea of trusting. You will say what do we have to trust? We put our trust in the Word of Yehovah, the Torah, who became flesh in the person of Yehoshua. This is why it is so important to learn the Torah in order to learn to TRUST our heavenly Father.
Isa 55:10 for as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
Isa 55:11 so shall my word (Torah) be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

May יהוה Elohim and our Master יהושע be with you as you walk in the light of the Torah.
