5 Parsha Chayei – Sarah Lived -B’reshit 23:1- 25:18
1 M’lakhim 1:1- 31, 1st Corint.15:50-57 Phil. 2:5-11

Once again the Shabbat bring us to study the Torah and to discover more from the mystery (sod) which Elohim has embedded in His Word for those who seek him with all their heart. The Parsah “Chayei” is about Abraham and the Bride for his Son Itzak. Sarah just died and we are going to see different meaning as we go through the verses. I read also from the book of Yasher (the just) to find information which have not be related by Moshe, just because Yasher has more historical purpose and Moshe was lead by the Ruach HaQodesh to write down what יהוה want us to know. I don’t say that Moshe didn’t wrote history. He did in the P’shat (literal) text. We want to train our “spirit man” to discover the “sod” (mystery) in order to renew our mind. In another midrash I explained what Sha’ul wrote to the Romans when he wrote: “do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Rom.12:2).....
How can somebody be renewed? In the Greek text the word “renewed” is “metamorphoō” which is compound from two words Meta and morpho:
Meta: which is a preposition denoting accompaniment modified variously according to the case (genitive case association, or accusative case succession) with which it is joined; occupying an intermediate position between G575 or G1537 and G1519 or G4314; less intimate than G1722, and less close than G4862): - after (-ward),X that he again, against, among, X and, + follow, hence, hereafter, in, of, (up-) on, + our, X and setting, since, (un-) to, + together, when, with (+ -out). Often used in composition, in substantially the same relations of participation or proximity, and transfer or sequence........
Morphoo: From the same as G3444; to fashion (figuratively): - form.  G 3444 Perhaps from the base of G3313 (through the idea of adjustment of parts); shape; figuratively nature: - form.
To fashion, to adjust, to form. This is very interesting. Have you ever observed people outside during a long period of time? Have you seen change in their life? Many times people say “I am so”! This is how I am! I cannot change! I am not like you! There is more like so. Unfortunately this is called “conditioning”, people are conditioned by their life style, family, tradition, school and by what they believe and do not make any efforts to be transformed or changed.  Is Sha’ul a liar? He says that we are not to be conformed or to be like the world but renewed by the adjustment of our mind, shaping it in a new form. Why do Sha’ul says that it is not possible for people?  In fact in order to be renewed in our mind we need to participate. First of all this ONLY work when the Ruach HaQodesh lives in us, because it is now Maschiach who work in us to do and to will according to YHWHs own purpose (Philip.2:13).  The Torah is powerful to make us wise unto salvation which is in Messiah. In order to renew our mind, we must remove something in order to put something new in the same place. In other words, we must replace worldly behaviours, thoughts and habits, by putting on Messiah, that is to conform ourselves to the Torah. Don’t be scared it is a life long process. This process is sometime fast or slow depending on what we do to “participate” in the change.  This is why people will not understand you anymore, because more and more Messiah in you will work something beautiful that people outside the covenant cannot grasp, because they walk after their own reasoning, after the flesh. This is a process and if we don’t study the Torah (I don’t say read the Torah) but meditate on it (Psalm 1:2) and cultivate our heart like a garden, there will be no change. To read, to accept it and to pray for this word, the Torah to transform us. This is what Abraham, Itzak, Ya’acov, David, Kefa, Yochanan, and many others did including יהושע!  I know many will say that יהושע had no need to study the Torah because he is the “Word in the flesh”.  Hum! Let’s see if the scripture says that:
Luk 2:40 and the Child grew and became (process) strong in spirit, being filled with wisdom and the favour of Elohim was upon Him.  Luk 2:52 and יהושע increased (process) in wisdom and stature, and in favor with Elohim and men.
As far as we can read, יהושע also was in a process not from birth, even thought he was chosen before the creation of the world to be Messiah, the anointed One.
Heb 5:7 who, in the days of His flesh (time period in life), when He (יהושע) had offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to Him (יהוה) who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His reverent fear, Heb 5:8 though being a Son, He learned obedience (process) by what He suffered.
Heb 5:9 and having been perfected, (process) He became (process) the Causer of everlasting deliverance to all those obeying Him,
Can you see the process in the life of יהושע? Don’t think like Christians that יהושע was perfect because he was “G-d” in the flesh. This scripture gives another explanation.  The Torah state only that Sarah died when she was one hundred twenty seven years old. The Number already gives us a glimpse on Sarah’s death.  127 = 1+2+7= 10, the number which is the sum of all number. Please keep this number in your mind because there is a connection between the number TEN and the TITHE and both are spiritually connected. This will help to understand the midrash on “Tithe”.   127 is also: 12 x 10 +7. It is amazing to see that o matter how we look at this number we will have divine numbers referring to perfection.   Sarah died when the course of her life came to the end. The book of Yasher gives us more details on her death.
YASHER Chapter 23 -- 76. and Satan went to Sarah, and he appeared to her in the figure of an old man very
humble and meek, and Abraham was yet engaged in the burnt offering before YHWH. 77. and he said unto her, Dost thou not know all the work that Abraham has made with thine only son this day? for he took Isaac and built an altar, and killed him, and brought him up as a sacrifice upon the altar, and Isaac cried and wept before his father, but he looked not at him, neither did he have compassion over him. 78. and Satan repeated these words, and he went away from her, and Sarah heard all the words of Satan, and she imagined him to be an old man from amongst the sons of men who had been with her son, and had come and told her these things. 79. and Sarah lifted up her voice and wept and cried out bitterly on account of her son; and she threw herself upon the ground and she cast dust upon her head, and she said, O my son, Isaac my son, O that I had this day died instead of thee. And she continued to weep and said, It grieves me for thee, O my son, my son Isaac, O that I had died this day in thy stead. 80. and she still continued to weep, and said, It grieves me for thee after that I have reared
thee and have brought thee up; now my joy is turned into mourning over thee, I that had a longing for thee, and cried and prayed to Elohim till I bare thee at ninety years old; and now hast thou served this day for the knife and the fire, to be made an offering. 81. but I console myself with thee, my son, in its being the word of YHWH, for thou didst perform the command of YHWH; for who can transgress the word of our Elohim, in whose hands is the soul of every living creature? 82. Thou art just, O YHWH our Elohim, for all thy works are good and righteous; for I also am rejoiced with thy word which thou didst command, and whilst mine eye weepeth
bitterly my heart rejoiceth. 83. and Sarah laid her head upon the bosom of one of her handmaids, and she became as still as a stone. 84. She afterward rose up and went about making inquiries till she came to Hebron, and she inquired of all those whom she met walking in the road, and no one could tell her what had happened to her son. 85. and she came with her maid servants and men servants to Kireath-arba, which is Hebron, and she asked concerning her Son, and she remained there while she sent some of her servants to seek where Abraham had gone with Isaac; they went to seek him in the house of Shem and Eber, and they could not find him, and they sought throughout the land and he was not there. 86. and behold, Satan came to Sarah in the shape of an old man, and he came and stood before her, and he said unto her, I spoke falsely unto thee, for Abraham did not kill his son and he is not dead; and when she heard the word her joy was so exceedingly violent on account of her son, that her soul went out through joy; she died and was gathered to her people. 87. and when Abraham had finished his service he returned with his son Isaac to his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba, and they came home. 88. and Abraham sought for Sarah, and could not find her, and he made inquiries concerning her, and they said unto him, She went as far as Hebron to seek you both where you had gone, for thus was she informed. 89. and Abraham and Isaac went to her to Hebron, and when they found that she was dead they lifted up their voices and wept bitterly over her; and Isaac fell upon his mother's face and wept over her, and he said, O my mother, my mother, how hast thou left me, and where hast thou gone? O how, how hast thou left me! 90. and Abraham and Isaac wept greatly and all their servants wept with them on account of Sarah, and they mourned over her a great and heavy mourning. .......
Sarah was first snared by HaSatan lie before beginning to seek after Itzahk and a second time she listened again to HaSatan and died:
1Pe 5:8 Be sober (watch abstain from wine read Luke 21:34), be vigilant; because your adversary the devil (HaSatan), as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 
Job 1:7 and YHWH said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered YHWH, and said, from going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it..............
Sarah was a godly woman faithful to her husband following him in obedience and submission. HaSatan was looking for an opportunity. One rule to observe: Never listen to HaSatan nor try reasoning with him he is a liar from the beginning and the father of lie. In the moment we begin to reason with him, we turn from the faith to look at the natural and are ready to be “devour”!................
Chapter 23:
Gen 23:1 and Sarah lived one hundred and twenty-seven years (127), the years of the life of Sarah.  Gen 23:2 and Sarah died in Qiryath Arba, that is Ḥeḇron, in the land of Kenaʽan, and Aḇraham came to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her.  Gen 23:3 Then Aḇraham rose up from beside his dead, and spoke to the sons of Ḥĕth (terror), saying,  Gen 23:4I am a foreigner and a sojourner among you. Give me property for a burial site among you, so that I bury my dead from my presence.”  Gen 23:5 and the sons of Ḥĕth (terror) answered Aḇraham, saying to him,  Gen 23:6 “Hear us, my master: You are a prince of Elohim among us. Bury your dead in the choicest of our burial places. None of us withholds from you his burial site, from burying your dead.”  Gen 23:7 so Aḇraham rose and bowed himself to the people of the land, the sons of Ḥĕth (terror).  Gen 23:8 and he spoke with them, saying, “If it is your desire that I bury my dead from my presence, hear me, and approach Ephron son of Tsoḥar for me,
Gen 23:9 and let me have the cave of Maḵpĕlah which he has, which is at the end of his field. Let him give it to me for the complete amount of silver, as property for a burial site among you.”
Gen 23:10 and Ephron dwelt among the sons of Ḥĕth. And Ephron the Ḥittite answered Aḇraham in the hearing of the sons of Ḥĕth, all who entered at the gate of his city, saying,  Gen 23:11 “No, my master, listen to me! I shall give you the field and the cave that is in it. I shall give it to you in the presence of the sons of my people. I shall give it to you. Bury your dead!”  Gen 23:12 and Aḇraham bowed himself down before the people of the land,  Gen 23:13 and he spoke to Ephron in the hearing of the people of the land, saying, “If only you would hear me. I shall give the amount of silver for the field, take it from me, and let me bury my dead there.”  Gen 23:14 and Ephron answered Aḇraham, saying to him,   Gen 23:15 “My master, listen to me! The land is worth four hundred sheqels of silver. What is that between you and me? So bury your dead.”  Gen 23:16 and Aḇraham listened to Ephron, and Aḇraham weighed out the silver for Ephron which he had named in the hearing of the sons of Ḥĕth, four hundred sheqels of silver, currency of the merchants.
Gen 23:17 Thus the field of Ephron which was in Maḵpĕlah, which was before Mamrĕ, the field and the cave which was in it, and all the trees that were in the field, which were within all the surrounding borders, were deeded  Gen 23:18 to Aḇraham as a possession in the presence of the sons of Ḥĕth, before all who went in at the gate of his city.  Gen 23:19 and after this Aḇraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Maḵpĕlah, before Mamrĕ, that is Ḥeḇron, in the land of Kenaʽan.  Gen 23:20 Thus the field and the cave that is in it were deeded to Aḇraham by the sons of Ḥĕth as property for a burial site.
Abraham asked Heth a Canaanite a place to bury Sarah. Abraham was living at peace in a Land that יהוה has already promise to give to him and his descendants. Abraham considered himself as a “stranger” the Hebrew word is “ger” and the same word is found in the writings from Kefa in:
1Pe 1:1 Kepha, an apostle of Yehoshua the Messiah, to the strangers (parepidemos) scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,.......
The Greek word “parepidemos” is used only in the 1 Kefa 1:1 and in 1 kefa 2:11 as “pilgrim"
1Pe 2:11 Beloved ones, I appeal to you as sojourners and pilgrims (parepidemos), to abstain from fleshly lusts which battle against the life,  .......
Kefa was recalling Abraham’s words to Heth.  The acquisition of the land by Abraham is based on the tradition. It was usual to “negotiate” has it is still today in some countries between people. The “owner” gives the price. Here Heth show respect to Abraham by first refusing to sell, but instead to give to Abraham. The temptation is there to accept but Abraham was a wise man and knew what to do. It is amazing because Abraham knew that יהוה has already makes promise to give the land to him! Remember what Abram say to the King of Sodom:
Gen 14:21 and the sovereign of Seḏom said to Aḇram, “Give me the people, and take the goods for yourself.”  Gen 14:22 but Aḇram said to the sovereign of Seḏom, “I have lifted my hand to יהוה, the Most High Ěl, the Possessor of the heavens and earth,
Gen 14:23 not to take a thread or a sandal strap or whatever is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Aḇram rich,’ ……
Abraham knew that man is full of pride and that the provider of all things is יהוה!
Have you ever been in a situation and hope man will give you things? For sure it comes many times in life and there is nothing wrong in it, save that man expect to win hand over you by giving something to you This is what he did:
Yasher chapt.24: --- 7. and Ephron and all his brethren heard this, and Abraham weighed to Ephron four hundred shekels of silver in the hands of Ephron and in the hands of all his brethren; and Abraham wrote this transaction, and he wrote it and testified it with four witnesses.
hat do the Torah says about  witnesses?
Deu 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
Mat 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.  8. and these are the names of the witnesses, Amigal son of Abishna the Hittite, Adichorom son of Ashunach the Hivite, Abdon son of Achiram the Gomerite, Bakdil
the son of Abudish the Zidonite.  9. and Abraham took the book of the purchase, and placed it in his treasures, and these are the words that Abraham wrote in the book, namely: 10. That the cave and the field Abraham bought from Ephron the Hittite, and from his seed, and from those that go out of his city, and from their seed for ever, are to be a purchase to Abraham and to his seed and to those that go forth from his loins, for a possession of a burial place for ever; and he put a signet to it and testified it with witnesses. 11. and the field and the cave that was in it and all that place were made sure unto Abraham and unto his seed after him, from the children of Heth; behold it is before Mamre in Hebron, which is in the land of Canaan. 12. and after this Abraham buried his wife Sarah there, and that place and all its boundary became to Abraham and unto his seed for a possession of a burial place. 13. and Abraham buried Sarah with pomp as observed at the interment of kings, and she was buried in very fine and beautiful garments. 14. and at her bier (burial) was Shem, his sons Eber and Abimelech, together with Anar, Ashcol and Mamre, and all the grandees of the land followed her bier.
15. and the days of Sarah were one hundred and twenty-seven years and she died, and Abraham made a great and heavy mourning, and he performed the rites of mourning for seven days. 16. and all the inhabitants of the land comforted Abraham and Isaac his son on account of Sarah. .....
When the righteous die all the people mourn! Where does the Catholic get tradition to mourn forty days, as I have seen many times in the Philippines? We read here that Abraham performed the rites of mourning for seven days. Seven is the number for divine perfection on earth.  The Children of Israel mourned thirty days for Aaron and for Moshe (Badmidbar 20:29, D’varim 34:8 ; Some more details of what Abraham did after Sarah’s dead: Abraham let Itzak to Shem and Eber to learn Torah! .......
Yasher chapter 24:  -- 34. and Eliy'ezer did as Abraham ordered him, and Eliy'ezer swore unto Abraham his master upon this matter; and Eliy'ezer rose up and took ten camels of the camels of his master,
and ten men from his master's servants with him, and they rose up and went to Haran,
the city of Abraham and Nahor, in order to fetch a wife for Isaac the son of Abraham;and whilst they were gone Abraham sent to the house of Shem and Eber, and they brought from thence his son Isaac. 35. and Isaac came home to his father's house to Beersheba, whilst Eliy'ezer and his men came to Haran; and they stopped in the city by the watering place, and he made his camels to kneel down by the water and they remained there.

Now Abraham will take a bride, a wife for his son, the son promise by יהוה. He sent his servant El’iezer to his own relative in order to get a wife.  The P’shat (literal) level recalls what happened. We can learn at this level that we should not mixed with those outside the family of believers, I mean those who really walk in the Torah not “Christians” or “Catholics” or any other denomination who reject the Torah.    In order to see more we will have to go to the “sod” to see what יהוה has done.  Abraham’s relative where idolater and are a picture of what the world today is, full of idolatry. We will have to dig into the Torah in order to see, what Abraham did which is printed in the heart of every talmidin of יהושע.  I will summarize a midrash from Eddie Chumney (even if I don’t agree in many others point with him) which a read many years ago. I found it so clear and beautiful that I hope to give it in the same spirit.  Eddie teaches about the “Hebrew roots of Christianity” and does a very good job. Concerning Abraham looking for a bride for Yitzhak Eddie Explain that Abraham is here in the “sod” a picture of Elohim, Eliy'ezer (El is help) is a picture of the Ruach HaQodesh, Ribkah a picture of the believers (Qahal, or Assembly) living among pagans (world system) and waiting for the wedding and Yitzhak his son a picture of יהושע.  The Hebrew word for journey is the word “Derek” and means a course of life, or mode of action, to “walk”. Eliy'ezer made a journey from the land of Canaan to Mesopotamia (Syria), while his trust (emunah) was in Elohim. He didn’t know the details of how Elohim was going to fulfil Abraham’s desire.  The Journey of Eliy'ezer to meet and find Ribkah, is the journey of Elohim’s bride who follow after the will and heart of Elohim trusting Him to make the camel (trials and tribulations in life) to reach the promised destination.  Spiritually this life journey of the bribe is described by the Hebrew word “Derek” Carnal Christians are living according to the way of the world and have no intime journey (Derek) with Elohim. The way to change from carnal to mature believers is by following the Torah (2nd Timot.2:12)
2Ti 2:11 Trustworthy is the word: For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him.   2Ti 2:12 If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also shall deny us.
Abraham (Elohim) send his servant Eliy'ezer (Ruach HaQodesh) to his relatives (pagan world) (Yeshayahu 49:5-6, Luke 2:25-32) in order to get the bride (Ribkah) for his Son Itzak (יהושע).With this in mind we are going to see what is behind the P’shat text.
By the way it is very interesting to notice that in this chapter the name of the servant is never mentioned, ma be the reason been that we should look in the sod to see the deeper meaning?  Eliy'ezer was Abraham’s steward therefore he is here mentioned as the “oldest servant’: 
Gen 15:2 and Abram said, Sovereign YHWH, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliy'ezer of Damascus?
Gen 24:1 and Aḇraham was old, advanced in years. And יהוה had blessed Aḇraham in every way.
Gen 24:2 and Aḇraham (Elohim) said to the oldest servant of his house (Eliy'ezer the picture of the Ruach HaQodesh), who ruled over all that he had, “Please, put your hand under my thigh,
To put the hand under the thigh which was the seat of generative power, the organ of procreation was to acknowledge and pledge obedience to him who requires the oath according to Barnes and others scholars.
Gen 24:3 so that I make you swear (The Ruach HaQodesh and יהוה are One) by יהוה, the Elohim of the heavens and the Elohim of the earth, that you do not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Kenaʽanites, among whom I dwell,  …..
The bride will be unspotted and separated from the world (Qadosh)
Deu 7:1 “When יהוה your Elohim brings you into the land which you go to possess, He shall also clear away many nations before you: the Ḥittites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Kenaʽanites and the Perizzites and the Ḥiwwites and the Yeḇusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you.  Deu 7:2 “And when יהוה your Elohim gives them over to you, you shall smite them and put them under the ban, completely. Make no covenant with them, and show them no favour.  Deu 7:3 “And do not intermarry with them – you do not give your daughter to his son, and you do not take his daughter for your son,
Marriage is a covenant it is an oath before Elohim. Unfortunately even among messianics marriage with pagans , those outside the covenant is take lightly and today many do not realize that nothing has changed, if we intermarry with pagans, we cannot be surprise when trouble come!  Moshe kept the Torah has did Abraham, his teaching was the same as Abraham. 
Gen 24:4 but to go to my land and to my relatives, and take a wife for my son Yitsḥaq.”  
Gen 24:5 and the servant said to him, “What if the woman refuses to follow me to this land? Do I then take your son back to the land from which you came?”  ……
Who is the bride (woman) today? Is not the “kahal” the assembly?   
Rev 21:2 and I, Yoḥanan, saw the set-apart city, renewed Yerushalayim, coming down out of the heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Messiah; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto Elohim.
Gen 24:6 and Aḇraham said to him, “Beware lest you take my son back there!
Gen 24:7יהוה, Elohim of the heavens, who took me from my father’s house and from the land of my relatives, and who spoke to me and swore to me, saying, ‘To your seed I give this land,’ He sends His messenger before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there.
Elohim who took me from my father’s house and from the land of my relatives…….
Can you see that the same is happening to us today? This separation many times painful because of the attachment we have to our earthly family. יהוה sees things another way, if we remain in the world, we are like those in the world: dead although living! 
Eph 2:1 and you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins
Eph 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and the Messiah shall give thee light. 
Here it is not physical dead which is mean but dead in our sin. Sha’ul is quoting the prophet Yeshayahu: 
Isa 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of YHWH is risen upon thee.  Isa 60:2 for, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but YHWH shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee....
Darkness is here a Euphemism for spiritual death.
Gen 24:8 “And if the woman refuses to follow you, then you shall be released from this oath; only, do not take my son back there.”   ……
“If the woman refuses to follow you”, (Eliy'ezer, the Ruach HaQodesh). What is the meaning here? Does Christianity follows the Ruach HaQodesh, or goes its own way?  
Gen 24:9 Then the servant put his hand under the thigh of Aḇraham his master, and swore to him concerning this matter.
Eliy'ezer swear to Abraham by making an oath, holding the center of procreation of Abraham. By this Eliy'ezer make himself one with His master Abraham. What does יהושע says regarding the Ruach HaQodesh?
Joh 16:13 “But when She comes, the Spirit of the Truth, She shall guide you into all the truth. For She shall not speak from Herself, but whatever She hears She shall speak, and She shall announce to you what is to come.
The Ruach HaQodesh will not speak on its own! Can you see how Eliy'ezer was serving Abraham?
Gen 24:10 and the servant took ten of his master’s camels and left, for all his master’s good gifts were in his hand. And he arose and went to Aram Naharayim, to the city of Naḥor.   Gen 24:11 and he made his camels kneel down outside the city by a fountain of water at evening time, the time when women go out to draw water.
Eddie Chemney explains that the camels are a picture of the burdens in believer’s life.  He says: “The word camel in Hebrew is the word “Gamal” meaning “to treat a person well, to reward, to labor in the sense of burden bearing.

2. (by implication) (of toil), to ripen, i.e. (specifically) to wean

KJV: bestow on, deal bountifully, do (good), recompense, requite, reward, ripen, + serve, mean, yield.

In the scriptures camels represent life’s trials and tribulations. It is through trials, and tribulations of life as represented by the wilderness for the children of Israel, that the bride of Messiah remains steadfast and confident in the provision of life.    Eliy'ezer took ten camels (trials and tribulations) and experienced the kindness of Elohim by making is way prosperous and allowed him to find Ribqah, the bride for Itzak”.   To bow down to the fountain is to come closer to the Torah in order to get comforted.
Ten times was Abraham tempted in his life! How many times have you been really tested in your life? What was your reaction, did you went to the Torah in order to be refreshed, or did you complain to other about your situation?      
Gen 24:12 And he said, “יהוה, Elohim of my master Aḇraham, please cause her to meet before me this day, and show kindness to my master Aḇraham.   Gen 24:13 “See, I am standing here by the fountain of water, and the daughters of the men of the city are coming out to draw water.  
Compare:
Joh 4:4 and He had to pass through Shomeron.   Joh 4:5 So He came to a city of Shomeron(Samaria), called Sheḵem, near the piece of land Yaʽaqoḇ gave to his son Yosĕph.   J
oh 4:6 and Yaʽaqoḇ’s fountain(well) was there. So יהושע, being wearied from the journey, was sitting thus at the fountain(well). It was about the sixth hour.  
Joh 4:7 a woman of Shomeron(Samaria) came to draw water. יהושע said to her, “Give Me to drink.” …
The drawing of the water is a picture of the outpouring of the Ruach HaQodesh. In YeshaYahu 12:2-3 it is written that Elohim’s people will draw water out of the wells of salvation. In Yah’el (Joel) Elohim says that He will pour out His Ruach HaQodesh upon all flesh.   “In the midst of His mighty outpouring of Elohim’s Set Apart Ruach upon His bride, the World will experience its darkest time in history (YeshaYahu 60:1-3) Eddie Chemney”  
Isa 60:1 “Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the esteem of יהוה has risen upon you.  Isa 60:2 “For look, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness the peoples. But יהוה arises over you, and His esteem is seen upon you.  Isa 60:3 “And the gentiles shall come to your light1, and sovereigns to the brightness of your rising.  …..
Gen 24:14 “Now let it be that the young woman to whom I say, ‘Please let down your jar to let me drink,’ and she says, ‘Drink, and let me water your camels too,’ let her be the one whom You have appointed for Your servant Yitsḥaq. And let me know by this that You have shown kindness to my master.”   Gen 24:15 and it came to be, before he had ended speaking, that see, Riḇqah, who was born to Bethu’ĕl, son of Milkah, the wife of Naḥor, Aḇraham’s brother, came out with her jar on her shoulder. ………………
“The bride will reign: Ribkah is holding, filling and carrying a pitcher of water. The shoulder is a picture of Government (YeshaYahu 9:6). Because Elohim’s government will be on יהושע during the messianic age, and because Ribqah was carrying a pitcher of water on her shoulder, this is a spiritual picture that when יהושע the bridegroom, will marry his bride and they become one, they will rule and reign together (Rev. 5:10, 21:2, Eph.5:32)” Eddie Chemney.
Isa 9:6 for unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name ( Yehovah's Name) shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty El, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.................
I know this verse is used by those who want to prove that “Jesus”, or even “Yeshua” is “G-d”. The Masoretic text read as follow: Pele-Y’ez El’gibbor abid and Sar shalom. That is wonderful in counsel is El the Mighty, the everlasting Father, the ruler of peace. Attributes from the Father!.
Gen 24:16 and the young woman was very good-looking, a maiden, no man having known her. And she went down to the fountain, filled her jar, and came up. ………..
Ribqah (the Assembly, the Kahal), no man having known her. In other words she was a virgin. This is very interesting, because the P’shat (literal) meaning point to something else explained by Shaul (Paul) concerning the bride of Messiah:
2Co 11:2 for I am jealous for you with a jealousy according to Elohim. For I gave you in marriage to one husband, to present you as an innocent maiden (Virgin) to Messiah
Sha'ul says that he gave the Assembly as a virgin (innocent maiden) (KJV) to Messiah. Eliy'ezer will bring Ribqah (the Assembly) to Itzak (Messiah). In fact Messiah means “anointed” and Itzak was the “anointed” or chosen one for Ribkah.  Eddie gives following details: Spiritually the bride of Messiah will not allow or practice the way of the world, she will not be dominated and controlled by the flesh, the carnal nature. Through the power of the Ruach HaQodesh and her steadfast love for יהושע, the bridegroom, she will overcome the desire and way of the flesh.  The bride of Messiah has the same spiritual characteristics as Ribqah when the scriptures describe her as being a “damsel” and a “virgin”. 
Gen 24:17 and the servant ran to meet her and said, “Please let me drink a little water from your jar.”   Gen 24:18 and she said, “Drink, my master.” And she hurried and let her jar down to her hand, and gave him a drink.
Gen 24:19 and when she had finished giving him a drink, she said, “Let me draw water for your camels too, until they have finished drinking.”   ……
We can compare with יהושע to the Samaritan woman at the well:
Joh 4:6 Now Jacob's well was there. Yehoshua therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.  Joh 4:7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Yehoshua saith unto her, Give me to drink………Joh 4:11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?  Joh 4:12 art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
Joh 4:13 Yehoshua answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
Joh 4:14 but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.  Joh 4:15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. ........
The Samaritan woman here represents the mixed world of Ephraim “our Father Ya’acov” she identified herself with the patriarch.  Joh 4:40 so when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.........
Two days are they not equal to two thousand years?  Ribqah was the daughter of Betu’el the son of Nahor the brother of Abraham, she was raised with her brother Laban among pagans, a picture of the House of Israel among the pagans nations. When she heard the voice of El’yezer (Ruach HaQodesh) she was ready to follow him on her free will. She left her comfort zone to follow her call, to meet Itzakh a picture of the coming Messiah.  Gen 24:20 and she hurried and emptied her jar into the trough, ran back to the fountain to draw water, and drew for all his camels.   Gen 24:21 and watching her, the man (Eli’ezer) remained silent in order to know whether יהוה had prospered his way or not.
Gen 24:22 and it came to be, when the camels had finished drinking, that the man took a golden nose ring weighing half a sheqel, and two bracelets for her wrists weighing ten sheqels of gold,   Gen 24:23 and said, “Whose daughter are you? Please inform me, is there room in your father’s house for us to spend the night?”  Gen 24:24 and she said to him, “I am the daughter of Bethu’ĕl, Milkah’s son, whom she bore to Naḥor.”   Gen 24:25 and she said to him, “We have both straw and fodder enough, and room to spend the night.”   Gen 24:26 and the man bowed down his head and worshipped יהוה.   Gen 24:27 and he said, “Blessed be יהוה Elohim of my master Aḇraham, who has not forsaken His kindness and His truth (Torah) toward my master. As for me, being on the way, יהוה led me to the house of my master’s brothers.”
Psa 117:2 for His kindness is mighty over us, and the truth of יהוה is everlasting. Praise Yah!  Psa 25:5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the Elohim of my deliverance; On You I wait all the day.
Psa 119:151 You are near, O יהוה, And all Your commands are truth.
Gen 24:28 Then the young woman ran and informed those of her mother’s house these matters.
Gen 24:29 and Riḇqah had a brother whose name was Laḇan, and Laḇan ran out to the man, to the fountain.
Gen 24:30 and it came to be, when he saw the nose ring, and the bracelets on his sister’s wrists, and when he heard the words of his sister Riḇqah, saying, “Thus the man spoke to me,” that he went to the man and saw him standing by the camels at the fountain.  Gen 24:31 and he said, “Come in, O blessed of יהוה! Why do you stand outside? I myself have prepared the house, and a place for the camels.”
Laban is the uncle of Ya’acov born of Itzak and Ribqah. We see here that Laban is a worldly man he saw the nose ring and the bracelets on his sister. He is a greedy man and follow is carnal instinct. Laban and his father knew the name of יהוה, and use it only when things were in their favors!   Laban is a picture of those all around the world who practice all kind of idolatry and knowing that there exist “one G-d” call on him when things are turning bad. Gold and material well being is for them more important.
Gen 24:32 so the man came into the house, while he unloaded the camels and provided straw and fodder for the camels and water to wash his feet and the feet of the men who were with him,  Gen 24:33 and set food before him to eat. But he said, “Let me not eat until I have spoken my word.” and he said, “Speak on.”
Gen 24:34 and he said, “I am Aḇraham’s servant.  Gen 24:35 “And יהוה has blessed my master exceedingly, and he has become great. And He has given him flocks and herds, and silver and gold, and male and female servants, and camels and donkeys.  Gen 24:36 “And Sarah my master’s wife bore a son to my master when she was old. And he has given to him all that he has.   Gen 24:37 “And my master made me swear, saying, ‘Do not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Kenaʽanites, in whose land I dwell,   Gen 24:38 but go to my father’s house and to my relatives, and take a wife for my son.’  
Go to my father’s house, to my relatives to take a wife for my son.............
Who is יהוה Son, is not יהושע  Messiah who will take his wife from among “Pagans relatives”?
The relatives! Where does the Ruach HaQodesh looks today to take a bride for Messiah? Does he goes to the unbelievers?    No! He is looking in Christianity to choose the bride, even if like Ribqah the *bribe today is living among pagan relatives and idolaters .  Please do not make a doctrine of what I write; I do not say that only those in Christianity will be part of the bride of Messiah. Many havebeen take captive in religion, islam or other cult and need to have their eyes opened. We know that everyone is welcome in the household of Elohim as long as he repents (make t’shuvah) recognizes יהושע to be Messiah and accept the yoke of the Torah upon himself.
Gen 24:39 “And I said to my master, ‘What if the woman does not follow me?’
Gen 24:40 “But he said to me, ‘יהוה, before whom I walk, sends His messenger with you and shall prosper your way. And you shall take a wife for my son from my relatives and from my father’s house.
Gen 24:41 ‘Then, when you go to my relatives, you are to be released from this oath. And if they do not give her to you, then you are released from my oath.’
If the woman does not follow the Ruach HaQodesh (El’iezer) because the relatives do not want to give her, he will be free from the oath (obligation). Today most of Christians are in bondage through the world (relatives). They don’t want to give Ribkah (the bride) to the RuachHaQodesh (Eliy'ezer).
When the time is accomplished the Ruach HaQodesh will be released from seeking for the bride and return to the Father, before Messiah come for the wedding with the virgin bride.
At this point there will be no more salvation but the wrath of Elohim upon the nations!
Gen 24:42 “And this day I came to the fountain and said, ‘יהוה, Elohim of my master Aḇraham, please, if You are prospering the way in which I am going,   Gen 24:43 see, I am standing by the fountain of water, and when the maiden comes out to draw water, and I say to her, “Please give me a little water from your jar to drink,”  Gen 24:44 and she says to me, “Drink, and let me draw for your camels too,” let her be the woman whom יהוה has appointed for my master’s son.’   Gen 24:45 “I had not yet ended speaking in my heart, then see, Riḇqah was coming out with her jar on her shoulder. And she went down to the fountain and drew water. And I said to her, ‘Please let me drink.’  Gen 24:46 “And she hurried and let her jar down from her shoulder, and said, ‘Drink, and let me water your camels too.’ So I drank, and she watered the camels too.
“She hurried”. Ribkah (The Assembly) doesn’t hesitate when hearing El’iezer (The Ruach HaQodesh), she is prompted in her heart and seek to please him. This is a beautiful picture of those who have been called to be part of the bride. They let everything to follow the leading of the Ruach HaQodesh trusting that he will guide them to the truth.  The name Ribqah: the name Rebekah might well mean (concrete for abstract, like רקמה, riḳmāh, חמדּה, ḥemdāh, etc.) a “tied-up calf” (or “lamb?”), one therefore peculiarly choice and fat.(ISBE International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)
Gen 24:47 “And I asked her, and said, ‘Whose daughter are you?’ And she said, ‘The daughter of Bethu’ĕl, Naḥor’s son, whom Milkah bore to him.’ Then I put the nose ring on her nose and the bracelets on her wrists.    Gen 24:48 “And I bowed my head and worshipped יהוה, and blessed יהוה, Elohim of my master Aḇraham, who had led me in the true way to take the daughter of my master’s brother for his son.
Can you see what El’iezer (the Ruach HaQodesh) says? That it is יהוה Elohim who has led him in the true way! This is beautiful. The Ruach HaQodesh doing the will of יהוה will seek the bride to bring her to the Father preparing her for the wedding. HalleluYah!  Now do not make the mistake as many do, making the Ruach HaQodesh another person different for the Father or from יהוה both are One, “Echad”. The Word Ruach HaQodesh is translated as Set Apart Spirit or Holy Spirit and therefore the Adjective Holy. Sometime we read the Spirit alone as for example in the book of Yocahanan:
Joh 4:24 Elohim is Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Elohim (e.g. G-d) the title is Ruach therefore he cannot become what he is already. Do you catch it? People forget that Elohim is from time without beginning Ruach, Spirit and therefore when he sends the Ruach, it is himself doing it! Ruach in English is wind, breath can we catch or see the wind or the breath? The answer is obvious: No! Although we can feel it! If we separate the Ruach from Elohim of from יהוה we already enter into doctrines assimilated to the Roman Catholic Church who found out the doctrine of the satanic Trinity.
Gen 24:49 “And now, if you are going to show kindness and truth to my master, let me know, and if not, let me know, so that I turn to the right or to the left.”    Gen 24:50 And Laḇan answered – Bethu’ĕl too – and said, “The matter comes from יהוה, we are not able to speak to you either evil or good.   Gen 24:51 “See, Riḇqah is before you. Take her and go, and let her be your master’s son’s wife, as יהוה has spoken.”    Gen 24:52 And it came to be, when Aḇraham’s servant heard their words, that he bowed himself towards the earth before יהוה.
Gen 24:53 And the servant brought out ornaments of silver, and ornaments of gold, and garments, and gave them to Riḇqah. He also gave costly gifts to her brother and to her mother.   Gen 24:54 And he and the men who were with him ate and drank and spent the night. When they arose in the morning he said, “Let me go to my master.” Gen 24:55 But her brother and her mother said, “Let the young woman stay with us a few days, at least ten, then you go.”   Gen 24:56 And he said to them, “Do not delay me, since יהוה has prospered my way. Let me go so that I go to my master.”   Gen 24:57 And they said, “Let us call the young woman and ask her.”   Gen 24:58 So they called Riḇqah and said to her, “Are you going with this man?” And she said, “I shall go.”
Ribqah (the Assembly) take her own decision, she is not forced by tradition, parents, relatives to follow El’iezer the servant (the Ruach HaQodesh) . She goes on her own decision. She has never seen her future husband but follows the prompting of her heart.

1Pe 1:7 in order that the proving of your belief – much more precious than gold that perishes, and proven by fire – might be found to result in praise and respect and esteem at the revelation of יהושע Messiah,  1Pe 1:8 whom having not seen, you love; in whom you exult with unspeakable and esteemed joy, yet not seeing, but believing,
Can you see how this verses bring us back to Ribkah who didn’t saw Itzak but believed that Eliy'ezer followed a noble purpose and hat she was called to follow him to her destiny. She will become the mother of those who are of the promise, because in Itzak is the promise as her relatives prophecy not knowing the power of the word they speak to her (verse 59)
Gen 24:59 so they let go Riḇqah their sister and her nurse, and Aḇraham’s servant and his men.
Gen 24:60 and they blessed Riḇqah and said to her, “Let our sister become the mother of thousands of ten thousands, and let your seed possess the gates of those who hate them.”  Gen 24:61 and Riḇqah and her young women arose, and they rode on the camels and followed the man. So the servant took Riḇqah and left.  Gen 24:62 and Yitsḥaq came from the way of Be’ĕr Laḥai Ro’i, for he dwelt in the South.
Gen 24:63 and Yitsḥaq went out to meditate in the field in the evening. And he lifted his eyes and looked and saw the camels coming.   Gen 24:64 and Riḇqah lifted her eyes, and when she saw Yitsḥaq she dismounted from her camel,  Gen 24:65 and she had said to the servant, “Who is this man walking in the field to meet us?” and the servant said, “It is my master.” So she took a veil and covered herself.   Gen 24:66 and the servant told Yitsḥaq all the matters he had done.   Gen 24:67 and Yitsḥaq brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent. And he took Riḇqah and she became his wife, and he loved her. Thus Yitsḥaq was comforted after his mother’s death.
At least I will give an information which can chock some readers, because the world today make a lot of critic when a man take a woman for wife been more then ten of fifteen years younger. Especially in Europe today, the “wise men” of the world says that it is vices and immoral.  Now Itzak was forty years old when he married Ribqah. How old was Ribqah when she left to marry Itzak?  I will let the answer to the book of Yasher and to you the comments: -------39. and they all blessed YHWH who brought this thing about, and they gave him Rebecca, the daughter of Bethuel, for a wife for Isaac.  40. And the young woman was of very comely appearance, she was a virgin, and Rebecca was ten years old in those days.  45. And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebecca, the daughter of his uncle Bethuel,  for a wife. 
The last part of this parsha is about Abraham who marry another woman after Sarah’s death.
Many years have I read this portion, asking myself where is the “sod” meaning in there? Thanks to Abba
יהוה who reveal the mystery to His children.  At first reading there is nothing special to see, and I must assure you that only the Ruach HaQodesh revel the “sod”. You may argue with me, but before you do, I pray that you be patient in the ruach and pray asking for understanding. We will see that there is more to see in this chapter.
The first sign we get in this portion is that Abraham got six children with this woman. Six is the number for man, as we know that man was created on the six day. Everything related to the number six, should be explored from this aspect. I don’t say it is the only way to look, but the primary sign we get. With this we can also explore the book of revelation concerning the number of the beast in Revelation chapter 13............The second point is the name of the wife:  ----- Queturah: Strong’s # H6989 קטוּרה qeṭûrâh ket-oo-raw'  Feminine passive participle of H6999; perfumed; Keturah, a wife of Abraham: - Keturah.   H6999 qâṭar kaw-tar'   A primitive root (rather identical with H7000 through the idea of fumigation in a close place and perhaps thus driving out the occupants); to smoke, that is, turn into fragrance by fire (especially as an act of worship): - burn (incense, sacrifice) (upon), (altar for) incense, kindle, offer (incense, a sacrifice)
This woman and her descendants will be separated from Itzak inheritance! Who is this woman today and who are her children?  They are also descendants from Abraham and they claim it. It is written verse 5 that Abraham gave ALL what he had to Itzak and to the children of Keturah he gave “gifts”.   Abraham after Sarah’s death had fulfilled יהוה call and now was going the way of life until he returns to the earth. Nothing more is mentioned of him beside the marriage with keturah. The Torah is clear: He gave ALL to Itzakh; neither Ishmael nor Keturah’s children are part of the spiritual blessing by the flesh.  The spiritual children of Keturah today are the children of the flesh, those who worship on “Sunday” they call themselves “believers” they also claim to be Abraham’s children or Abraham descendants and their inheritance is in the material world.   Itzak was the son of the promise who followed his father’s steps; and learns with Shem and Eber as he father did before him.
What is with you, are you descendant of Abraham, and of the promise through Itzak, or are you from Abraham through Keturah? Just think about that, about all those today who proclaim to be descendants from Abraham. I don’ speak from the Arabs, who also are descendants of Abraham physically but through Ishmael and have inherited worldly wealth.
Gen 25:1 and Aḇraham took another wife, whose name was Qeturah.   Gen 25:2 and she bore him Zimran, and Yoqshan, and Meḏan, and Miḏyan, and Yishbaq, and Shuwaḥ.   Gen 25:3 and Yoqshan brought forth Sheḇa and Deḏan. And the sons of Deḏan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Le’ummim.  Gen 25:4 and the sons of Miḏyan were Ěphah, and Ěpher, and Ḥanoḵ, and Aḇiḏa, and Eldaʽah. All these were the children of Qeturah.  Gen 25:5 Now Aḇraham gave all that he had to Yitsḥaq,   Gen 25:6 but to the sons of the concubines whom Aḇraham had, Aḇraham gave gifts while he was still living, and sent them away from his son Yitsḥaq, eastward, to the land of the east.  Gen 25:7 and these are all the years of Aḇraham’s life which he lived: one hundred and seventy-five years.
Here is also something interesting to see in Abraham’s age: one hundred and seventy five. In the gemetria the numbers give us inside to some points. Here we come to an interesting result: 175= 1+7+5= 13. Thirteen is the number for rebellion! Yes at the first look it seems to be a problem, because it is written that Abraham believed Elohim and it was counted to him for righteousness (B’reshit 15:6).     If we look a bit further we also know that Abraham descendants including you and me will be in rebellion before יהוה in his mercy called us back to him. Now we can see that Abraham’s age already foresaw that his descendant would live in rebellion. Abraham his called the Father of those who believe .   ----- Gal 3:7 Know, then, that those who are of belief are sons of Aḇraham. ......  Meaning that those who are not of belief are the children still in rebellion .      Gen 25:8 and Aḇraham breathed his last and died in a good old age, aged and satisfied, and was gathered to his people.   Gen 25:9 and his sons Yitsḥaq and Yishmaʽĕl buried him in the cave of Maḵpĕlah, which is before Mamrĕ, in the field of Ephron son of Tsoḥar the Ḥittite,  Gen 25:10 the field which Aḇraham purchased from the sons of Ḥĕth. There Aḇraham was buried with Sarah his wife.
Gen 25:11 and it came to be, after the death of Aḇraham, that Elohim blessed his son Yitsḥaq. And Yitsḥaq dwelt at Be’ĕr Laḥai Ro’i.   Gen 25:12 and this is the genealogy of Yishmaʽĕl, Aḇraham’s son, whom Haḡar the Mitsrite, Sarah’s female servant, bore to Aḇraham. Gen 25:13 and these were the names of the sons of Yishmaʽĕl, by their names, according to their generations: The first-born of Yishmaʽĕl, Neḇayoth; then Qĕḏar, and Aḏbe’ĕl, and Miḇsam,  Gen 25:14 and Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,  Gen 25:15 Haḏar, and Tĕma, Yetur, Naphish, and Qĕḏemah.  Gen 25:16 These were the sons of Yishmaʽĕl and these were their names, by their towns and their settlements, twelve chiefs according to their tribes.  Gen 25:17 and these were the years of the life of Yishmaʽĕl: one hundred and thirty-seven years. And he breathed his last and died, and was gathered to his people.  
137 was the age of Ishamel: 1+3+7= 11. The number eleven is the number for imperfection. Twelve is the number for divine government on earth. Eleven is equal to twelve minus one which means divine perfection minus one (Elohim) and we have imperfection! Today Muslim claims to follow “G-d” (Allah) but they rebel against what Ishamel learned with Itzak.
Gen 25:18 and they dwelt from Ḥawilah as far as Shur, which is east of Mitsrayim as you go toward Ashshur. He settled before all his brothers.
Haftorah
This Haftorah teaches us that Elohim will perform what he has promised. King David was anointed by Elohim and when he spoke he did by the Ruach HaQodesh. When one of his son AdonaiYahu tried to become King, David was old and didn’t saw what was going on.  יהוה sent Nathan the prophet to put things in order before David died.
1:1 and Sovereign Dawiḏ was old, advanced in years. And they covered him with garments, but he could not get warm.  1Ki 1:2 So his servants said to him, “Let them seek for our master the sovereign a young woman, a maiden, and she shall stand before the sovereign and be his companion, and shall lie in your bosom, so that our master the sovereign gets warm.”  1Ki 1:3 and they sought for a lovely young woman in all the border of Yisra’ĕl, and found Aḇishaḡ the Shunammite, and brought her to the sovereign.  1Ki 1:4 and the young woman was very lovely. And she was a companion for the sovereign, and served him, but the sovereign did not know her.  1Ki 1:5 and Aḏoniyah son of Ḥaggith exalted himself, saying, “I reign.” And he prepared for himself a chariot and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.  1Ki 1:6 Now his father had not worried him at any time by saying, “Why have you done so?” He was also very good-looking. And he was born after Aḇshalom.  1Ki 1:7 and he talked with Yo’aḇ son of Tseruyah and with Eḇyathar the priest, and they supported Aḏoniyah.  1Ki 1:8 but Tsaḏoq the priest, and Benayahu son of Yehoyaḏa, and Nathan the prophet, and Shimʽi, and Rĕʽi, and the mighty men who belonged to Dawiḏ were not with Aḏoniyahu.
1Ki 1:9 and Aḏoniyahu offered sheep and cattle and fatlings by the stone of Zoḥeleth, which is by Ěn Roḡĕl. He also invited all his brothers, the sovereign’s sons, and all the men of Yehuḏah, servants of the sovereign.
1Ki 1:10 but he did not invite Nathan the prophet, or Benayahu, or the mighty men, or Shelomoh his brother.
1Ki 1:11 Nathan then spoke to Bathsheḇa the mother of Shelomoh, saying, “Have you not heard that Aḏoniyahu son of Ḥaggith has become sovereign, and Dawiḏ our master does not know it?   1Ki 1:12 “and now, come let me give you advice, and deliver your own life and the life of your son Shelomoh.   1Ki 1:13 “Go immediately to Sovereign Dawiḏ and say to him, ‘Did you not, my master, O sovereign, swear to your female servant, saying, “Certainly, your son Shelomoh shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne”? Why then has Aḏoniyahu become sovereign?’  1Ki 1:14 “Look, while you are still speaking there with the sovereign let me come in after you and confirm your words.”  1Ki 1:15 and Bathsheḇa went into the room to the sovereign. Now the sovereign was very old, and Aḇishaḡ the Shunammite was serving the sovereign.
1Ki 1:16 and Bathsheḇa bowed and did obeisance to the sovereign. And the sovereign said, “What do you wish?”  1Ki 1:17 and she said to him, “My master, you swore by יהוה your Elohim to your female servant, saying, ‘Certainly, Shelomoh your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne.’
1Ki 1:18 “And now, look! Aḏoniyah has become sovereign. And now, my master the sovereign, you do not know about it.   1Ki 1:19 “And he has offered great numbers of bulls and fatlings and sheep, and has invited all the sons of the sovereign, and Eḇyathar the priest, and Yo’aḇ the commander of the army, but he did not invite Shelomoh your servant.
1Ki 1:20 “And you my master, O sovereign, the eyes of all Yisra’ĕl are on you, to declare to them who is going to sit on the throne of my master the sovereign after him.   1Ki 1:21 “Otherwise it shall be, when my master the sovereign rests with his fathers, that I and my son Shelomoh shall be considered sinners.”  1Ki 1:22 and see, while she was still speaking with the sovereign, Nathan the prophet also came in.  1Ki 1:23 so they informed the sovereign, saying, “Here is Nathan the prophet.” And when he came in before the sovereign, he bowed down before the sovereign with his face to the ground.  1Ki 1:24 and Nathan said, “My master, O sovereign, have you said, ‘Aḏoniyahu shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne’?   1Ki 1:25 “For he has gone down today, and has offered great numbers of bulls and fatlings and sheep, and has invited all the sovereign’s sons, and the commanders of the army, and Eḇyathar the priest. And look! They are eating and drinking before him. And they say, ‘Let Sovereign Aḏoniyahu live!’   1Ki 1:26 “But he has not invited me, me your servant, nor Tsaḏoq the priest, nor Benayahu son of Yehoyaḏa, nor your servant Shelomoh.
1Ki 1:27 “If this matter is from my master the sovereign, then you did not let your servant know who should sit on the throne of my master the sovereign after him.”   1Ki 1:28 and Sovereign Dawiḏ answered and said, “Call Bathsheḇa to me.” So she came into the sovereign’s presence and stood before the sovereign.
1Ki 1:29 and the sovereign took an oath and said, “As יהוה lives, who has redeemed my life out of all distress,
1Ki 1:30 even as I swore to you by יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘Certainly, Shelomoh your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne in my place,’ even so I do this day.”   1Ki 1:31 and Bathsheḇa bowed with her face to the earth, and did obeisance to the sovereign, and said, “Let my master Sovereign Dawiḏ live forever!”
Sha’ul understood the deeper meaning of the Torah and was indeed inspired by the Ruach HaQodesh to write. Many today try to bring discredit to Sha’ul’s teaching, but for those who study the Torah they will see what Elohim is doing through Sha’ul to teach people like you and me.
1Co 15:50 and this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood is unable to inherit the reign of Elohim, neither does corruption inherit incorruption.  1Co 15:51 See, I speak a secret to you: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  1Co 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   1Co 15:53 for this corruptible has to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality.  1Co 15:54 and when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall come to be the word that has been written, “Death is swallowed up in overcoming.”  1Co 15:55 “O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your overcoming?”  1Co 15:56 and the sting of death is the sin, and the power of the sin is the Torah.  1Co 15:57 But thanks to Elohim who gives us the overcoming through our Master יהושע Messiah.
Php 2:5 for, let this mind be in you which was also in Messiah יהושע,
Php 2:6 who, being in the form of Elohim, did not regard equality with Elohim a matter to be grasped,
Php 2:7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, and came to be in the likeness of men.
Php 2:8 and having been found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, death even of a stake.    Php 2:9 Elohim, therefore, has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name,  Php 2:10 that at the Name of יהושע every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,   Php 2:11 and every tongue should confess that יהושע Messiah is Master, to the esteem of Elohim the Father. ……..
The Form: Strong’s G3444 morphē mor-fay' Perhaps from the base of G3313 (through the idea of adjustment of parts); shape; figuratively nature: - form.
יהושע cannot have the physical form of Elohim simply because יהוה is SPIRIT! So we understand that Sha’ul spoke of the image, the Nature of יהושע be like יהוה .    Christianity in spite of this word will say that it is impossible to be like “Jesus” who is “G-d” in the flesh. This is not what the scriptures teach us.

THE NAME YHWH

HOW DOES THE NAME IS SPOKEN!

Today in this short overview, I would like to present two documents from very old sources.
The First is from the "LENINGRAD ALEPO CODEX":
These two codex use the masoret vowels signs for the prounciation.
Le Codex d'Alep (en hébreu כֶּתֶר אֲרָם צוֹבָא Keter Aram Tsova) est la plus ancienne version connue de la Bible hébraïque selon la massora tibérienne. Il aurait été écrit entre 910 et 930 de notre ère.(Source Wikipedia)

The second one is the CAIRO CODEX. We will see why these two codex are important in understanding the pronunciation of the Name.
I will post first one specific passage from the Alepo Codex concerning to demonstrate how the Alepo codax use the "cholem" vowel ("O" sound):
In English frist fro those who do not read Hebrew:
Number 13:16 These are the names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun Yehoshua.

This is about the writting form of, Moshe, Hoshea and Yehoshua in Hebrew:
Num 13:16 אֵלֶּה שְׁמֹות הָֽאֲנָשִׁים אֲשֶׁר־שָׁלַח מֹשֶׁה לָתוּר אֶת־הָאָרֶץ וַיִּקְרָא מֹשֶׁה לְהֹושֵׁעַ בִּן־נוּן יְהֹושֻֽׁעַ׃
We can clearly see that the names Moshe, Hoshea, and Yehoshua, all have a "cholem" on the "mem" and the "He" to make the sound Mo-she, Ho-shea, and Yeho-shua.

I took this example because it embed the masoret understanding concerning the use of the vowels and specificaly the "cholem" for the sound "O".
Now let us look at some few other places concerning the theophoric Name of Elohim. I just pic some few, they are all with the same writting in the LENINGRAD ALEPO CODEX FROM 910CE - 930CE.
Gen 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that יהוה Elohim made the earth and the heavens,

B'reshit/Gen 2:4 אֵלֶּה תֹולְדֹות הַשָּׁמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץ בְּהִבָּֽרְאָם בְּיֹום עֲשֹׂות יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים אֶרֶץ וְשָׁמָֽיִם׃
We see the tetragramaton written Yod with a shevet under it, the letter "He" without the "cholem",vowel "O", but the  "kamatz" vowel under the letter "vav" for the sound "a".
I will post some few other examples just to show that I don't fix on one verse, you can check other places fro yoursel.
It is note worthy in this place to point that in Gen.2:4 according to the rules, the Name should be read: YeHWAH/YeHVAH. 
Exod 3:15 And Elohim said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, יהוה Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
Exod 3:15 וַיֹּאמֶר עֹוד אֱלֹהִים אֶל־מֹשֶׁה כֹּֽה־תֹאמַר אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבֹתֵיכֶם אֱלֹהֵי אַבְרָהָם אֱלֹהֵי יִצְחָק וֵאלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב שְׁלָחַנִי אֲלֵיכֶם זֶה־שְּׁמִי לְעֹלָם וְזֶה זִכְרִי לְדֹר דֹּֽר׃
Here again we see the Name YHWH written without the "cholem" vowel, but "ELOHE" written with a "cholem" ("O") on the "lamed", the letter "L"! This is not a coincidence, every word with a "O" sound will have a "cholem" to sound "O".

Another example:
Isa 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith יהוה, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no El formed, neither shall there be after me.
We are going to look at the words, YHWH, and the adverb "Lo" (not)
Isa 43:10 אַתֶּם עֵדַי נְאֻם־יְהוָה וְעַבְדִּי אֲשֶׁר בָּחָרְתִּי לְמַעַן תֵּדְעוּ וְתַאֲמִינוּ לִי וְתָבִינוּ כִּֽי־אֲנִי הוּא לְפָנַי לֹא־נֹוצַר אֵל וְאַחֲרַי לֹא יִהְיֶֽה׃ ס
Here again we see the "cholem" vowel on the letter "lamed" for "Lo", but not for the teophoric Name YHWH.

Now we are going to look at one Picture taken from the Cairo Codex . According to its colophon, it was written complete with punctuation by Moses ben Asher in Tiberias "at the end of the year 827 (Source Wikipedia).
So we can say that this codex superseed the LENINGRAD CODEX FROM  MOREN THAN ALMOST 100 Years.


Here in the yellow background we see the teophoric Name YHWH written: Yod with the sheva*, He with the "Cholem" for the sound "O", vav with the "kamatz" for the sound "a", and the final "He". Thus the Name is read YeHOWAH, or YeHOVAH.
*The sheva is a silent vowel, which inflex the sound to the letter itself, in this case the "yod" a short sound "ye", from Ye-HOWAH.

Today there is no other known document (at least to me) who bear witness of the pronunciation of the Name of Elohim. This is also for those who claim the Name Yaweh or Yahuwah. They should search for an old document to prove that Yahweh of Yahuwah is a solide view of the Name.
Some attack the masoret and their manipulation. Here we have a witness from the 7th century CE that the pronunciation of the Name was well known, and the scribes, willingly removed the "cholem" to hide the true pronunciation, EXCEPT in Ezekiel 28:22 where the "cholem" is preserved, may be to give proof that they knew the true name was YeHOWAH/YeHOVAH and not YeWAH/YeVAH. In no case YAWEH/YAVEH or YAHUWAH.
